You found interest into Princess Cadance ever since you went to the Crystal Empire. You did get orders from her when your protecting the hallways in her castle and even met one of her favourite guards. However, you never know her personally since you didn’t talk to her. Picking her out of your five decisions could be your chance to impress.
Her room in the castle is a little farther from the other princesses because she prefers larger bedrooms. As you walk up to her door, you knock on it to which she responds immediately.
“So, you’re back.” Cadance smiled.
“And late.” You replied.
Cadance would easily see the stress you went through, but instead she knows how to make you feel better. She invites you inside her bedroom which made you speechless of how big it is. While the walls are painted in pink, her mattress is shaped like a heart.
“Oh my Celestia!” You reacted from the size of her bedroom.
“You find my room gorgeous?” Cadance asked.
“Yes. I’ve never seen a room this amazing before.”
“I guess you spend most of your life in an ordinary home right?”
You nodded to which she smiled. She knows that knights like you will never have a great bedroom like she does. You and Cadance sat on the mattress together, the full moon is out, peering through the window, With no one to interrupt, you make the first move.
“So I was wondering…” You replied as Cadance has her attention on you. “What did you think of me rescuing that hippogriff, which cost me to miss the Knight’s Ceremony?”
“I think it was sweet, but I can understand that your upset.” Cadance said. “If you made the decision to just stay at the ceremony, we could’ve got somepony else but he would probably be in the same situation as you.”
As much as you feel sad, you still had to face the facts of what Cadance said is true. “I guess is always a lose lose situation.”
“Being a knight always go through this. You’re not the only one.” Cadance placed her hoof on your shoulder which made you a little surprised. “Do you know that knight who gave you that letter?”
“Uh huh.”
“That’s my husband, Shining Armor.”
“He’s your husband?”
As Cadance nodded to your further question, she tries to take a deep breath to continue the conversation with you. “Do you wanna know why he told you to not push your luck? Because I had a talk with him when you were late and...”
“What did her told you?”
“I should give you my respect for being a sweet knight. When you sacrifice the ceremony you waited your whole life to save a filly hippogriff, I thought that…”
Cadance paused towards the end of her sentence. She wanted to keep herself on the safe zone when it comes to her husband but she can’t delay the inevitable any longer. Out of nowhere, she kisses you on your cheek which caught you off guard.
“...you deserve love.”
You had no words at all from the moment she kissed you. A blush that never came to you for so many years, return in such a bizarre moment. Cadance also notice that she made a poor move as she tries to be serious.
“Don’t tell my husband about this, okay? Knights, who made important sacrifices deserve treatment like you.”
You placed your hoof on your cheek. Every word you heard from Cadance is what sums up her thoughts about you, especially her kiss.
“So...is that why you kissed me?” You blushed.
“Don’t be shy are aware. I do love spells. It’s what my cutie mark says to me.”
You looked at her crystal heart cutie mark. You now understand why she kissed you in this moment. “You really think I’m that important to you?”
“Well I can’t say that completely. But I will say do you want to move into the Crystal Empire.” You were surprised from the princess who rule that land. “I promise that if you do, you will never have this problem again. The empire has its own Knight’s Ceremony next month.”
Just when you thought your dream was history, it has been reborn. While you don’t know much about the Crystal Empire, it sounds like a great place to stay.
“Okay. I will come.” You answered.
This made Cadance smile, while she gives you a hug. “I’ll remind Celestia tomorrow. You will never regret this.”
As you broke the hug, you give Cadance your thoughts about her. “Thanks for being kind to me. The day I went through, I know there was no turning back from my dream. I think picking you after I came back was the right choice. Your not only see me as a knight with a dream, but also giving me another chance. You're more than a princess of love, your a princess that make dreams come true.”
Cadance’s heart was just like how Shining Armor stole it. But unlike him, you spoke the truth about how she cares about knights like you. It made her feel like you could be her next protector of her kingdom.
Just when your about to lay on her bed, She grabs you and presses her lovely lips against yours. Your eyes shot wide open like when cupid shot a love arrow at you. For a princess being great at love spells, she’s far above perfect as a kisser. You slowly land on her heart shaped bed as she’s now on you. After thirty seconds, she broke the kiss. You now look into her pink eyes staring at you. It made her more of female kupit who loves to make ponies like you happy.
“You know...everytime I see somepony like you being themselves. I can show them my fun side.”
“Yeah I can see that.”
“Again, don’t tell my husband about this. This is the only night I’m doing this to somepony.”
You agree with Cadance’s advice. She uses her horn to move her blanket to tuck you and herself into bed. She then wraps her hooves around you like she does to Shining Armor. It makes her feel more happy to be with somepony she cares about. While you do enjoy her respect towards you, your afraid of what Shining Armor reacts if he finds out about this.
“Her husband is going to kill me!”
