I turn to see a light and a shadow on the wall and quickly fly back. "The first trial is to choose a side." The voice said. "Can I choose both?" I ask the voice and feel a look of confusion on me. "What do you mean?" I heard the voice ask and I sigh. "The thing about light and darkness is they both cannot exist without the other. So what's the point in choosing one?" I ask and the voice hum in satisfaction. "You're the first person to ask me this... I guess you can but you'll have to touch both the light and darkness. Are you sure you want your 'friends' watching this?" The voice asks.
I froze for a second. I completely forgot they were there. "...They should be fine. Plus they aren't friends as I just met them an hour ago." I say as I step between the light and darkness. "Wait!" I hear one of the kids yell. When I turn and see red coming over. "You aren't doing this alone!" She exclaims and I laugh. "You'll just be in the way kid. why don't you go over and wait with your friends." I tell her and turn to reach them both when suddenly two arms grab both mine. "No! I won't let you do this alone! besides what is the worst that can happen?" She asks and I send her a stony face. She turns confused as I stare at her. "Do you want me to fail? Why are you tempting the universe to fail me?" I ask her. "What did I say?" She asks and I shake my head slowly. "If Ruby is going we're going too!" Blondie says when the rest catches up. I sigh and turn around. Though I can't help but smiling at their stubbornness.
"Hey your smiling!" Ruby said and I shake my head. "Your imagining things kid." I say with a joking tone. "Fine you guys want to come then don't blame me for any injuries. And I can't say that I can definitely Protect you guys from anything. Plus if we're going in my mind then you guys are out of your league." I say and turn to look at them. I see them all nod with determination on their faces. "Then let's go. We have a lot of ground to make up." I say and turn away from them. "Hold onto me and I'll grab the elements" I tell them and take a deep breathe. I feel all of them grab my jacket and smile bigger. I grab the elements and see us in a arena in my mind with in the middle my family. The are on their knees and crying. Then they are shot in front of me. And the last thing my sister did was look up and cry my name. and when I look at the people going on next it's my friends from before Equestria. I fall to my knees after they were shot too. And what happened next just teared a hole in me. I see the friends from Equestria all without their wings and horns like they were ripped off. when they were forced to the ground I noticed Luna's belly was bigger than usual. and right before they were killed it hit me. Luna was pregnant....
I feel all my chains on my emotions tremble and then they fired. I felt my fury unleash and before they were killed I got in there and casted a shield spell. When the arrows hit the barrier something weird happened. All the arrows were reflected back to their owners. When they died I see Luna and the others look up to me. And I see a speck of hope return. I then turn beck before They said anything and see about fifty Unicorns come out of hiding and start to charge a spell in their horns. I start to grin maliciously and start walking forward. I see them start to panic until a voice said "We have him surrounded! Don't let that demon walk out alive!" And all of the Unicorns fire their spells. They got a direct hit and see a big cloud of dust.
They all start cheering while Luna and my friends started to cry until... I launched out of the dust cloud and had a keyblade out. The thing that's different about my Keyblade was it radiating evil. Pure, unadulterated evil, And it feels good! When all the Unicorns felt the evil radiating off my keyblade they started panicking and firing a bunch of spells. I started swinging and hitting all the magic. throwing it to the side I swung and exploding. When I got close some Earth ponies charged towards me from behind the Unicorns with all sorts of weapons.
I swung at the closest Earth pony and sent him flying into two Unicorns. While the Ponies were stunned by my strength I charged past the Earth ponies and towards the Unicorns. When I got to them I quickly jumped and kicked the Unicorn to the right. Sending him flying into another Unicorn as I landed on the Unicorn on my left. I quickly jumped off of him and land on the viewing balcony for royalty and see a pitch black Alicorn. I then launched myself towards the Alicorn. He quickly dodged out of the way and sent a punch my way. I duck under the punch and do a sweep kick. He quickly jumps up and did a downward kick. which I quickly rolled to the side to dodge and swing at his arm. Finally having a hit land. And the hit went through his arm. quickly severing it. He cries out in agony and kneels while holding where his arm was cut off. "Awww what's the matter? Can't take the pain? Well why even bother?" I say as I walk towards him. When I was half way he yelled "Kill the others!" And an explosion went off. When I looked I see Luna falling with a hole in her. I turn and quickly see the others fall as well. And what hurt the most... That they killed five kids. When I look at the dead bodies of my friends my vision started to black out.

3RD PERSON P.O.V.

When Jake saw his friends and family die in front of him he snapped. When The black Alicorn stood up and started to laugh at Jake's frozen form he noticed something creepy. There was this shadow coming out of his eyes, nose, and mouth.
Suddenly Jake disappeared and appeared above the black Alicorn and threw a punch at him. The black Alicorn flew through seven walls before he stopped. By the time he stood up. Jake appeared through the dust and punched him outside. The Alicorn flew to the other side of the arena before he stopped and turned to Jake. Which was a mistake and got him a giant beam coming at him. "...Buck." Was all he could say before the beam hit him.
He cried out in pure agony as he started to burn from the beam. He jumped out of the beam and got struck by Jake who is half way covered in darkness. That's when the Alicorn noticed something. Jake was going to be consumed and laughed. Which got the attention of everyone in the stadium and Jake. "What's so funny?" Jake asks in what sounds like a demonic voice. "Your letting your darkness consume you! That means the elements of harmony will work on you!" The Alicorn yells and started laughing more. That's when they notice Jake start laughing, no, cackling at what was said. Which stopped the Alicorn from laughing. "What are you laughing at? Don't you know that you'll die?" He said as Jake continued to laugh a little longer before calming down. "Don't you know the elements of harmony doesn't kill anyone? There hasn't been a single death from the elements! You want to know something else?" Jake asks the Alicorn. The Alicorn shook his head but Jake continued. "Without light there's no darkness and without darkness there's no light. And what do you know! The worst punishment is to be imprisoned on the moon! Just to wait for a thousand years. But I'll break the seal easily." Jake says and more shadows engulf him.

Jake then appeared before the Alicorn and decked him in the face. sending the Alicorn flying into the wall behind him. Then Jake charged at him again and threw punch after punch 'til thirty punches later. When Jake stopped punching, the Alicorn fell to the ground unconscious. Jake walked forward and was about to end the Alicorns life when suddenly "stop!!!" When Jake turned he saw the kids that tried to defend him in the forest. "Don't become like him! You don't have to! What would killing him do!?" Ruby asked Jake and the shadows crawling up his body slowly retreating.
Jake looks down at the ground as they all stand in front of him. "Well? What would killing him do?"Ruby asked again in a more scolding tone. Making Jake flinch a little and turn away. "It would be avenging my fallen family." Jake said. "More like disappointing your family! What would they think? Did you ever think about that?" Blondie asked. Jake doesn't move and begins to slouch. Until he's finally sitting while holding his legs. His head is down and he starts to cry. for once in a long time someone got him to cry.
"We would probably go into a rage too if that was our entire family was killed in front of us. In fact we think that makes you more human than anything else. After all no one is perfect." The Bratty one said. Jake chuckled at that. "I'm not human. I'm a weakling who pretends there is nothing wrong outside in the world. When in all reality I'm constantly around fighting."Jake says as he cries some more when he felt a hand pat his back. When he looked up he say ms. bow tie there with a gentle smile.
"Most of us are. And bye the fact that you have a smoother back then most people needing comforting I'm willing to guess you're young." She said to him. Jake nodded and looked into the horizon. "How old are you anyways?" Ruby asks. only to get bopped on the head by princess. "... Well that's sticking with me. But I guess we never introduced ourselves to each other. My name is Jake, Jake Dawson. Nice to meet you!"
Ruby stepped up and pointed at herself saying "I'm Ruby, Ruby Rose. And these are my team mates and sisters." She introduced. Blondie waved when pointed to and said "I'm Yang Xiao Long.". The princess bowed when pointed to and said "My name is Weiss Schnee.". When ms bow tie was pointed too she waved awkwardly "My name's Blake Belladonna."
"Why?" Everyone turned to the Alicorn. "Why am I alive?" Jake started to chuckle "Because I won't ever have the guts to kill someone. Not if I can save everyone. And that includes the people on the bad side." Jake says as he leans over the Alicorn. That is when Jake notices that the Alicorn isn't a Alicorn. He is just using a shadow form that would be used against him in a fight.
"So why an Alicorn?" Jake whispers the question into the 'Alicorn's' ear. Making the fake Alicorn's eyes go wide. "How can you tell?" He asks. Jake shakes his head before saying "It's easy to tell you weren't a Alicorn since you used neither the wings or magic." Jake starts laughing. "...You have a sharp mind to pick that up. Well you passed the trial and since you're unique I'll tell you something." the Alicorn said and got close. "You are gonna need all the help you can get if you think this situation will ever happen. And I'll come to the rescue if you summon me. For my name is Hadria!"
