Ch.10: I'll Be Okay

KNOCK KNOCK

"Mr. Coppermane? Your girlfriend is here to pick you up."

Coppermane perked up, seeing the silhouette of his girlfriend crossing the door window following the doctor. Appearing from behind the open door first was the most beautiful girl in the world, flashing those gorgeous eyes like she always did when she came to visit.

"Hello, Coppermane," Fluttershy said, smiling big.

"Hi, babe," Coppermane said, feeling himself blush. Even after being with her for so long, she still made him weak.

"I'm so happy! You get to go home today!" Fluttershy said, giving him a kiss on the cheek.

"Yeah," Coppermane said. "I didn't think I'd ever be able to."

"Your recovery has actually been quite remarkable, Coppermane," the doctor said. "Especially after sustaining such severe injuries. Fractures in your right upper arm, left shin, even a couple of your ribs. Quite impressed that you're even alive, especially recovering from a coma. And with some good care over the next few weeks, you'll be out of your wheelchair in no time. How are you feeling right now?"

Coppermane pursed his lips. "Could be worse, I guess."

The doctor nodded. "That'll be the norm for a while, which is why I'm going to prescribe you some pain medication. Anyways, unless you have any further questions, I'll be right back with a wheelchair, and you can be on your way."

"Um… I-I actually have a question," Fluttershy said.

"Yes, miss?"

Fluttershy's face went noticeably red, walking up to the doctor and whispering something in his ear. As soon as she finished her question she pulled back with an even redder face, twirling her hair. She must've asked something personal.

"I think you should be fine as long as you don't go further than that," the doctor said. "It'll be a while before you can do that again."

"I see," Fluttershy said. "Um… th-thank you."

"Of course, miss. Is that all?" the doctor asked, to which Fluttershy nodded. "Alright then. I'll be right back."

Fluttershy's smile returned, her eyes sparkling. The doctor exited, leaving Fluttershy and Coppermane alone. She wasted no time in giving him a big kiss. Coppermane gladly accepted, bringing his left arm, his good arm, up to caress her soft, elegant neck as she made out with him. When she pulled back, she leaned her forehead against his.

"I've been so worried about you," Fluttershy said.

"I know," Coppermane said. "But it's all fine now. The doctor said I've been healing fast, so hopefully it won't be long before everything is back to normal."

"I hope you're right," Fluttershy said. "I promise I'll take good care of you."

Coppermane smiled. "Thanks. I know you will."

"The girls are waiting outside for us. We're going to take you to dinner as celebration," Fluttershy said. "Would you like that?"

"I'd love that," Coppermane said. "The hospital food isn't bad, but I'd enjoy something else for a change."

Fluttershy smiled and went in for another kiss. Coppermane's heart melted. Fluttershy's candy kisses would never get old. Her intoxicating scent flooded his senses as their lips caressed each other. The heavenly scent of strawberries and cream, making him fall under her spell even more.

She pulled back and gave him that beautiful smile. The smile that never fails to brighten his day.

"So… have you been feeling okay?" Coppermane said.

"Well… I've been better, I suppose," Fluttershy said. "I'm glad you're recovering so quickly, though."

"Me too," Coppermane said. "You've just looked kind of stressed most of the time when you visit."

Fluttershy sighed. "It's been hard, even knowing that you were getting better. I've never had anyone so important to me in the hospital before. But it's all done now. You get to go home today, and that's all that matters."

Coppermane nodded. "You sure there's nothing you want to talk about?"

Fluttershy shook her head. "If it's okay… I'd rather not think about the past few weeks. I'd rather move on."

Coppermane gave her a quizzical look but decided not to press her on it if she's already been through a lot.

"Alright, babe. You don't have to talk about it if you don't want to," Coppermane said, a smile returning to Fluttershy's face.

"Thank you," Fluttershy said. "I want this to be a happy day for both of us."

"I understand, baby. I love you," Coppermane said.

Fluttershy giggled. "I love you too," she said, giving him another big kiss.

Coppermane brought his hand up to caress her soft hair when she pulled back.

"You're so beautiful," Coppermane said.

Fluttershy giggled, blushing profusely. "Thank you. You're so sweet." She gave his hand a kiss before placing it back on her cheek, sighing and relishing his touch.

"I'm curious about one thing, though," Coppermane said. "What did you ask the doctor just now?"

Fluttershy blushed. "Well… I wanted to know if we could… um… do things."

"Like… what?" Coppermane asked.

Suddenly, Fluttershy's expression changed. It went from coy to something more… alluring.

"Oh… I don't know…" Fluttershy said, her voice seemingly a little deeper and more lilted. Her hand found its way down to Coppermane's stomach, moving lower and lower with a beguiling look in her eye.

"Oh…" Coppermane said, catching on. "Um… well… I don't think that'd be a good idea with so many broken bones."

"Don't worry," Fluttershy said. She leaned in and whispered in his ear. "You won't have to do a thing."

Her hand made it down to his groin, and Coppermane inhaled sharply at the feeling, stifling a moan as Fluttershy grinned.

"Mmm… you're sensitive… aren't you?" Fluttershy cooed. Coppermane bit his lip and nodded, making her giggle. "Poor thing… you must be so pent up," she said, leaning in to whisper in his ear, along with kisses on his neck and moans. She could hear Coppermane stifling moans, making her smirk. "I'll take good care of you when we get home. I'll do everything that drives you crazy."

"Heh…" Coppermane groaned. He tried to talk through the pleasure he was feeling. "Y-You don't… have to… if you don't want to…"

"Oh… but I do," Fluttershy said, continuing her teasing. "I've been desperate for you, Coppermane. It would make me sooo happy to please you, my prince."

Coppermane shuddered. If he were home right now with Fluttershy and were completely healthy, he would've ripped her clothes off by now. The sensation from her touch was intense. So intense he could barely think.

"Mmm…" Fluttershy said, teasing his groin. "It's gotten so big. What would you like me to do for you when we get home, hmm? Would you like me to… dance for you?" She struck a sexy pose, leaning on her hips and tossing her hair. "Would you like me to be sexy for you? I know what you like most about my body…" She pushed her cleavage together with her arms, leaning down to give her prince a better look. "Do you like that?" Coppermane nodded, making her giggle. She turned around and leaned forward again, giving him a look at her backside. "What about this?" she asked, giving a little shake. Coppermane nodded, looking like he was drooling right now. Fluttershy smiled got close to his neck again, whispering. "Well… we can do that, and I can do other things for you too."

Fluttershy gasped when she heard the door open, immediately backing away from Coppermane and fixing her hair. She stood very rigidly, holding her hands in front of her, blushing profusely. Coppermane needed a moment to recover from what just happened. Fluttershy was a reserved girl, but she could harbor a huge libido when she was alone with him.

"I've got your wheelchair, along with some flyers about proper care," the doctor said. He proceeded to talk through the flyers, outlining exactly how Coppermane was to live from now until his bones healed. Once he was done, he was assisted out of the hospital bed and into his wheelchair. The casts on his leg, arm, and chest made it surprisingly difficult to move. Even though moving was painful, it felt good to finally be in a different position than laying down all the time. The doctor brought him to the entrance with Fluttershy following close behind. Coppermane took a deep breath of fresh air as he exited the building, invigorating his senses. He had to close his eyes to protect them from the sunlight. It almost hurt after spending so much time inside. When his eyes finally adjusted, he slowly opened them to see the whole gang staring back at him.

"Coppermane!" they all cried, clamoring in excitement.

"I'll leave him in your care, ladies," the doctor said.

"Thanks for everything, doc," Coppermane said.

"No problem," the doctor said. "Take care of yourself!"

The doctor bid him farewell, and immediately he was swarmed by the girls.

"Ooooh!!! Everyone, grab a marker to sign his casts!" Pinkie cried, pulling out a bag of permanent markers seemingly from nowhere. She placed it down and immediately grabbed a pink one. "I get to sign it first!"

Pinkie walked up and signed her name on both his arm and leg casts with a heart at the end. The other girls lined up to give Coppermane's casts their first round of signatures.

"We're so happy that you're getting better, darling," Rarity said, signing with indigo, writing her name in perfect cursive.

"I still have no idea how you survived, dude. But it's good to have you back," Rainbow said with a smirk. She signed with multiple colors, matching her hair.

"You were really brave back in camp, Coppermane. We're all really proud of you," Sunset said, signing with an orange marker.

"We knew you'd pull through. You're mighty hardy, Coppermane," Applejack said, signing in green.

"If you need help catching up in class, don't hesitate to ask," Twilight said, signing in purple, writing her name in a calligraphy-esque style.

A different girl approached him. A purple haired girl with turquoise streaks and a pink beanie.

"Oh… you're Starlight Glimmer, right?" Coppermane asked.

Starlight nodded. "Yep. I heard you were getting discharged today so I thought I'd pay a visit. Do you mind if I sign?"

Coppermane gestured for her to go ahead. She smiled and did so with a black marker.

And last but definitely not least… Fluttershy. She held a pink marker and signed her name on his casts without saying a word, but with a smile on her face the whole time. When she stood up to sign his arm cast, her inebriating scent engulfed his senses. When she was done, she gave Coppermane a kiss, pulling back and leaning her forehead on his.

"I love you so much," she said, choking up before giving him another kiss.

"I love you too, babe," Coppermane said, smiling big as well. He looked at her signature, and it was her name with a heart on it, followed by "your princess".

"Hey guys, we should get going or we're going to miss our reservation," Sunset said.

Fluttershy gave Coppermane one more kiss before helping him into the car with her friends' assistance.

At the restaurant, Coppermane could barely speak with the amount of food he inhaled.

"Goodness, Coppermane," Fluttershy said. "You're going to choke if you eat that fast."

"Then you'll be right back in the hospital," Rainbow said.

"Sorry, girls," Coppermane said. "I can't help it after living off hospital food for the last few weeks."

The girls laughed as Coppermane continued to stuff his face. Fluttershy took a napkin and wiped his cheeks of the debris.

"One moment. I need to use the ladies' room," Fluttershy said, giving her boyfriend a kiss on the cheek before walking away.

"It feels like forever since she's been so happy," Applejack said.

"No kidding," Rainbow said. "She hasn't stopped smiling since she came out with Coppermane."

"Oh, that reminds me. I wanted to ask you girls something," Coppermane said. "Um… how has Fluttershy been doing? I asked her but she seemed kind of reluctant to say anything."

The girls' eyes all went wide, pausing their meals and looking at each other.

"Should we tell him?" Pinkie asked.

"I think he deserves to know," Starlight said.

"But… Fluttershy might not want him to," Twilight said.

Coppermane looked quizzically at them. "H-Has it been bad?"

"Coppermane…" Sunset said. "Yeah… it's been bad."

"How so?" Coppermane said.

Rarity sighed. "Starlight is right. He deserves to know. But promise us something, darling? Please don't bring it up when she comes back. Wait until you're home with her, okay? She's so happy now, and we'd like it to stay that way." Her friends nodded in agreement.

Coppermane nodded as well. "Of course. I love seeing her smile."

Rarity giggled. "As do we."

Rarity and the others proceeded to tell Coppermane what happened while he was hospitalized. Especially while he was in a coma, they told him about how she constantly wanted to visit, had frequent random spells of crying when they hung out, how she became so irredeemably depressed, and the only thing that made her happy again was when , and most notably about the time she lost her temper one night.

"Woah… she really got that angry?" Coppermane asked. "I mean… I've seen her get angry before but… that just doesn't sound like her."

The girls all nodded.

"It happened," Sunset said. "We were all there. Even Starlight."

Starlight pursed her lips. "I must've said something to set her off. I've never seen Fluttershy back in Equestria get so furious."

"Sugarcube, you didn't do anything wrong," Applejack reassured. "If anything, we caused it."

"Yeah," Rainbow said. "We were trying to tell her she shouldn't go see him that day."

"The stress probably just got to her," Twilight said. "Still, I didn't think such a sweet girl could get so angry."

"It was kind of scary," Pinkie said.

Coppermane pursed his lips. "Wow…"

"Don't feel bad, darling," Rarity said. "I talked to her and she calmed down rather quickly. Besides, that was the day you woke up, and I wish you could've seen how overjoyed she was."

Coppermane sighed. "She never told me about any of that."

"Probably because she didn't want to worry you," Sunset said.

"I see," Coppermane said.

"Oh! She's coming back!" Pinkie said. The girls quickly returned to their meals as Fluttershy sat back down, giving Coppermane a kiss on the cheek.

"What were you talking about?" Fluttershy asked.

"Uh…" Coppermane asked.

"Oh! Did you girls hear about what Trixie did?" Rarity asked.

The girls gave her a weird look.

"Um… wait… did something actually happen?" Rainbow asked.

Rarity nodded, immediately catching the girls' attention. Seems like there was actually something to talk about with an opportunity to discuss it. Coppermane pursed his lips as Fluttershy put her hand on his leg. As beautiful as her smile was, he couldn't help but sense something was hidden behind it.

Coppermane arrived home with Fluttershy assisting him. Everything was just as he left it before he went off to camp. It was a heartwarming sight to be in his own home again after such a long time in the hospital. Fluttershy helped him upstairs to his bed, trying her best to position him in the ideal position explained by the doctor.

"I'll be right back with some water and snacks, okay?" Fluttershy said, giving him a kiss before walking out.

Coppermane couldn't help but notice a slight sashay in her hips as she walked away. As soon as she left his line of sight, he felt worry creeping over him. He's only seen Fluttershy scream once, but to be so angry that she stormed off after practically cussing her friends out? It just didn't seem like her. Was it true?

Fluttershy returned with a filled water bottle and arms full of snacks from downstairs. She placed them on his nightstand and gave him another kiss before carefully lying beside him.

"I promise I'll take good care of you," Fluttershy said. "You'll be better in no time."

Coppermane smiled. "Thanks, babe."

Fluttershy smiled, sitting up and stroking his hair. Coppermane groaned at the feeling of her delicate fingers gracing his hair, massaging his head.

"Hey babe, can I ask you about something?" Coppermane asked.

"Of course, my prince," Fluttershy said. "You can ask me anything."

Coppermane pursed his lips. "Well… I asked your friends about how you've been doing and… they told me about something."

Fluttershy's expression turned worried. "Wh-What did they tell you?"

"Um… they said something about… you losing your temper one night? The night I woke up?"

Fluttershy's face immediately went bright red, along with a whimper.

"Oh… they told you about that?" Fluttershy asked.

Coppermane nodded. "Did it happen?"

Fluttershy pursed her lips, and her eyes became noticeably shiny. "Y-Yes… yes it did."

Coppermane's eyes went wide. "Wow…"

"Oh gosh… please don't think less of me!" Fluttershy cried, tears welling up in her eyes. "I don't know what came over me! I-I was just so frustrated and worried… I guess I wasn't thinking clearly. I didn't mean anything I said to them. I just wanted to see you so badly… but… I-I don't know. I just don’t know!"

"Fluttershy, it's okay," Coppermane said, trying to use his good arm to comfort her. "I just wanted to hear from you personally that it happened."

"But… it's not okay," Fluttershy said. "It was so selfish of me to yell at them like that. They didn't deserve it! I… oh gosh… I'm so ashamed…"

"Oh no, Fluttershy, I'm sorry," Coppermane said. "I didn't mean to make you feel bad all over again."

Fluttershy sniffled and wiped the tears off her cheek. "Don't think less of me. Please. I still love you so much. I won't be selfish anymore, I promise."

"Fluttershy, I could never think less you," Coppermane said. "You were willing to make time for me almost every day, even when I was unconscious. Y'know… I thought I could hear your voice while I was asleep. Now it makes sense."

"You… heard me?" Fluttershy asked.

"Well… it's fuzzy, but I remember a voice like yours speaking to me," Coppermane said, lifting his hand up to caress her cheek. "A sweet, gentle, adorable voice that makes me feel safe whenever I hear it."

Fluttershy's eyes began to glimmer, her lips curling up into a smile.

"Do you really think that?" Fluttershy asked.

Coppermane nodded. "Of course. You're the most important person in my life. Again, my memory is a bit fuzzy, but when I was sleeping, I remember just seeing you constantly. Images of that gorgeous face… your beautiful starlight eyes… your soft, flowing pink hair… your breathtaking, gleaming smile… those perfect, adorable cheeks… not to mention that you're sweet, kind, caring, loving, and just the cutest girl in the world. The most beautiful girl in the world. We all get stressed, and sometimes it gets the best of us, but that's okay. We all make mistakes. But Fluttershy… I could never think less of you. Especially not after dropping everything and promising to take care of me. Honestly, that's one of the most selfless things I've ever heard. I love you, baby. I always will."

Fluttershy's smile only got bigger, though she was still crying, but tears of joy. She started twirling her hair and giggling to herself.

"Oh, Coppermane… I love you too," Fluttershy said. "You're the most amazing guy I've ever met. I'm so lucky to have you. I'll never stop loving you."

She gave him the biggest hug she could without re-breaking his ribs, and Coppermane reciprocated. Her scent flooded his senses again. Strawberries and cream… such a captivating aroma. Fluttershy's aroma. She gave him a big kiss, treating him to the sweet taste of her lips. Her kisses were like candy. Their lips remained locked together as they made out, releasing weeks of romantic tension between them. There was something about being home and in his bed with her that made her kisses even more delicious. Their lips moved in perfect rhythm, sating their addiction for each other's kisses.

When they pulled away to catch their breath, it felt like the weight of the world had been lifted off their shoulders. Fluttershy wiped more tears away, quickly replaced by more.

"I love you so much," Fluttershy said.

"I love you too," Coppermane said. "Are you alright?"

Fluttershy nodded. "I-I'll be okay. Now that you're home… I-I'll be okay."

Coppermane rubbed her back as Fluttershy calmed down, wiping her tears away little by little as they fell. When she calmed down, Coppermane flinched when she looked at him with a much more… seductive expression.

"Now then…" Fluttershy said, her voice deeper and lilted like it was in the hospital when they were alone. Her hand found its way back to his groin, making him shudder. "…I want to have some fun with you."

"R-Right now?" Coppermane said.

"I've been waiting for sooo long," Fluttershy said. "I need you."

Coppermane's eyes went wide as Fluttershy stood up and struck a sexy pose for him, grabbing the bottom of her shirt with a beguiling smile, as if it she was going to take it off.

"I hope you're ready, Coppermane," Fluttershy cooed. "I'm gonna take great care of you tonight."
