A crisp breeze wraps around me. The motion of the ocean forces me to reconsider buying a milkshake from my magic online store. At least I can share my misery with others.
It turns out that 1 bit is not equal to $1, but $1,000 in my store. it is twice the size of a quarter and made of magic gold. The gold has an anti-counterfeit enchantment that increases the value in-store. In Equestria 1 bit is equal to $1 and they use Haypennies made of copper for 1 cent. I am basically set for life.
After realizing the value of currency I opened up my boat shop. I charged 1 bit for milkshakes and noticed something not canon with the show. It turns out ponies here do eat meat, but there is a cultural stigma around it. When there is not enough produce or if ponies have an appetite for it, meat is eaten. Fish, chicken, rabbits, and pigs are ok to eat so long as they are not sentient. Fluttershy warned me to not eat Angel since he is sentient. Being an American and not allowed to eat beef is going to be tough, but as Leroy Jenkins would say, "At least I have Chicken." Eating meat is seen as low class and gross, except for pegasi eating fish. Pegasi can't farm in clouds so they would fish rather than break their honor stealing from other ponies. Eating fish has become more common with Earth ponies as well, but not with Unicorns. Increased immigration from meat eating creatures such as Griffons has made fish eating less taboo and less likely to cause a public panic.
None of that matters though, since I can sell vegetarian food on the ship. I became a billionaire in 3 days and used the money to make travel bearable. I would have bought and copied books, but the sea-sickness would make it not worth it. Twilight was the exception and I copied and pasted academic books for her with my money, I told her how expensive academic books are, but did not tell her the exchange rate of currency to make her feel like she owes me. Since I can't fight I need to be manipulative to survive. Everyone else was greatfull. for the movies/shows at night and music during the day. I bought the movies and shows so I could use the projection function and a display would go in front of our ships as well as the demi-humans. I could control the volume and where it comes from and made it so that anyone below top deck could not hear it. I played Disney and Ghibli movies to introduce them to animation and not shock them with modern technology. The portable radio from Kiki's Delivery Service blew everyone's mind. I sold radios to all the ships and when we landed on the demi-human ran Neighpon Islands they worked with their radio waves.
Some of the movies were to much for my pony audience, such as the WWII tragedy Grave of the Fireflies. The demi-humans were shocked, but not to the level of the ponies. I think ponies are way more sensitive than other races due to lack of conflict for so long. The demi-humans have to deal with humans when the Demon King is not around, so they are very familiar with the tragedies of war and human scumbagerry. Princess Celestia was more receptive to the harshness of the film. I suppose in this world she has experienced enough pain to scar over her sensitivity.
As for TV I showed Avatar the Last Airbender and various Looney Tunes shows. I wanted to prevent showing live action to make sure no one would think it is real. Looney Toons were very popular, but not as popular as the movie Fantasia was. The ponies seem to be obsessed with music oriented content, while demi-humans enjoy drama. I should have known ponies would love music oriented content since they burst into song spontaneously. So much so that leveled my singing to 5 by the end of the trip.

I stuck with instrumental songs on the trip to protect my sanity. Pinkie would make me despise any song with her compulsion for repetition. Once on Neighpon Islands, I memorized prime spots to open gates. Unfortunately, [Gate] can't move once made. This made it impossible to level up since someone living has to be in the gate to gain exp. This also applied to [Pocket Dimension]. [Shadow Clones] [Aura] [Repairo] [Clean] [Scan] [One for All] [Green Mage Regen: renamed Esuna for coolness and simplicity] were what I focused on. I would cast [Shadow Clones] and wait for SP to recover. At first the clones would pop at 1 HP Damage, but as [Shadow Clones] and [Aura] leveled up I could use [One for All] and [Esuna]. I would cast [Scan] soon as I could [Repairo] and [Clean] when neccesarry. By the 3rd month I reached level 5. This meant I could use [Shapeshift]
Shapeshift LVL 1: Change appearance at the speed of 1% per minute
Once I could shapeshift I told the Mane 6 and Celestia about my plan to blend into Equestria rather than be the only human. This plan was shot down immediately by Celestia because,
" You will only be adding more stress to yourself. Being a pony takes more than looks. You were not raised to be like us and your identity would be discovered eventually. If you decide you need a break from your responsibilities and want to use a disguise to hide, then that would make sense".
" Ok well I figured that a pony form would make getting used to me easier. Plus, Lime Light is not a human name. I figured I should let EVERYPONY get a chance to know me for me rather than stereotypes and my alleged cuteness".
" Oh Lime Light, when it comes to cute you are guilty as charged".
" Yeah that is kinda my point. It would be hard for me to be taken seriously while everyone sees me as adorable".
"She does have a point. I can't imagine her giving orders or warnings".
" Thanks Rarity. I am thinking of going unicorn. Like this".
Pain had its torturous grasp upon me. The feeling of tearing muscle and growing bones is beyond explanation. The pain was so bad I passed out at gained level 8 [Pain Tolerance]. When I woke up I was surrounded by crying mares.
"Yeah I'm not doing that again until I can get my pain tolerance up".
"You almost died you jerk"!
" I don't want to throw a funeral party"!
"All that screaming ya did made us awfully worried Sugercube".
"Sorry everypony. I had to try it at least once. Of course I would like to make sure it didn't go wrong".
I bought a full length mirror and made sure nothing went wrong. My fur is an off-white peach. My mane is lime green with white streaks in a ponytail. I am wearing a loose fit white dress with gold ring clasp on left shoulder. My hooves look like human feet except my toes are together in a solid hoof feeling shoe looking body part. My [Shapeshifting] will changes my clothes, but will not add enchantments.
Considering I'm not deformed this worked out great. Well since we are at Neighpon, I might as well introduce myself again to the locals
I reintroduced myself to locals and got some fame for being able to shapeshift. It seems only Changelings should be able to shapeshift as quickly as I did. The addition of [Unicorn Magic] made Twilight even more Twilighty. She made herself my Unicorn Magic teacher, but much to my disappointment, I can't use it lethally. Also it effects my Mental Points just as much as Spirit Points. That lead to many headaches that hurt bringing my other skills.
As we approached Equestria, Princess Celestia decided to show off how powerful she is by teleporting our ship to Ponyville. I took this action as a threat to not mess with her since it takes a ludicrous amount of power to teleport a room's worth of ponies, but an entire ship is frankly unheard of. I noticed some nonponies piss themselves in fear. Upon witnessing this display of power I stated.
Damn girl, remind me not to get on your bad side. If you don't mind though, you might want to consider to not scare the piss out of people. It is quite rude.
(giggles) Sorry I had no intention of scaring anypony. I just thought it would be best to get us home as quickly as possible.
Yes and limiting the range of Gates is just a bonus.

Of course I know that Twilight! It is just that she is obviously trying to make sure I don't have the means to fight back if we do become enemies. I don't have a problem with it per say since it is common sense to do. In fact I would be more upset if she didn't, because that would mean she is to trusting and unfit to rule. I just wish you would not be so coy about it. (Sigh) You know what? You are right Twilight I should let it go. Besides the fact we are stuck in an apple orchard is more concerning right now.

And so with a cast of [Repairo] on the barn and [Esuna] on the apple trees, Applejack decided to not lose her shit at the ruler of the nation she lives in. Celestia went back to Canterlot with some of her crew and planned to meet with us again in the near future.
