Rainbow Dash soars through town very excitedly. The annual Ponyville carnival was in full swing and she wanted to take her crush, Fluttershy with her. She landed at the cottage and knocked on the front door. The door opens and the pretty yellow pegasus appeared. "Oh! Hello Rainbow, what brings you here?" Rainbow grinned and replied, "Well, the carnival is back in town and I was wondering if you want to go with me?"
Fluttershy looked uncertain. "Plus, there will be a petting zoo and I'm sure you would like that.", she added. She offered her hoof to her with a smile. Fluttershy's eyes lit up at the mention of a petting zoo. She smiled back and took her hoof. They took off flying through town and landed near the toll fee booth. Rainbow paid for both of them and they got hoof bands.
They head in the carnival and look around. Rainbow's magenta eyes lit up in happiness as she looks at all the rides, games, and food stands. There was also a large stage at the middle of the carnival. "What do you want to do first?" she asked, turning to Fluttershy beside her. The pink maned pegasus looked around and spotted a merry-go-round with giant bunnies and pointed.
Rainbow Dash looked at the ride with disbelief. "That one?" The pretty yellow pony nodded with a grin. "Ok, but I'm choosing next." They hopped on the ride Rainbow choosing a brown rabbit, while Fluttershy chooses the white on beside her. The ride then starts. She was starting to get bored on the ride but as she looked at her crush beside her, smiling with joy and laughing she softened up, a goofy grin spread across her face. She is so cute like this!
As they got off the ride, her belly started to growl. Fluttershy gazed at her with amusement. "Is Dashie starting to get hungry?" She teased. Rainbow's check started to turn red in embarrassment. "Yes. Want to share a funnel cake with me?" The teal eyed mare nodded. They head to the stand and Dash ordered a large funnel cake with strawberries and whipped cream.
They then sat at a picnic table and ate their food. They both grabbed another piece and somehow eating the same one. Then their lips connected. They looked at each other, both faces red as an apple, giggling. Rainbow leaned in, gazing into the pretty mare's eyes and reconnect their lips, prolonging the kiss for a minute. Fluttershy kissed back, hoof brushing trough her friend's colorful mane.
They eventually pull apart, eyes gazing at each other lovingly. Rainbow ran her hoof through the silky soft mane, flicking a strand behind her ear. She leans in and kissed the top of her creamy head. They both got up and head over to the games, with Rainbow wrapping her wing around her mare. They stopped at a bean bag tossing game.
"Come one, come all, to the bean bag tossing tournament, two bits per game!" The game host called. The animal caretaker gazed at a large rainbow teddy bear. "You want that bear?" Fluttershy nodded her head. " all right stay right there I'll win you that bear!" She walks up and slaps two bits on the counter. The vendor gave her three bean bags. "The object of the game is to knock down those cans, you got three chances.", The vendor explained. Rainbow tossed one and knocked over one stack. She tossed another. Eventually, all three stacks of cans fell over.
The winner siren went off and she got the bear. "Dashie, that was awesome!", squealed Fluttershy as she ran up and plant a kiss on Dash's cheek. The speedster blush as she handed the prize to her. "Well, that's the point, love I'm always awesome!", she boasts, puffing her chest with pride. She looked over and spotted a camera booth. With a grin, she grabbed Fluttershy and went inside it. She put a coin in and they both made funny faces as the camera flashes several times.
She grabbed the picture and put it in her saddlebag. They then headed to the petting zoo. Pure utter joy etched across her face as she watched her lover play with the animals does she know how awesome she looks right now?, she sighed. They both then sat on a bench sharing some cotton candy. Fluttershy leaned against her lover enjoying the treat and her company. Rainbow grabbed a piece with her mouth and gave it to her fillyfriend. The yellow mare grabbed it as her lips graze Rainbow's. The blue pegasus giggled as she grabbed another.
"What are you doing you two doing?", giggled a familiar happy voice. The new couple's heads shot up as they spotted the pink energetic earth pony. Behind her were their three other friends, their eyes gleaming with amusement. "We were going to ask if you two were going to the carnival, but never to expect you two was already here, making out with cotton candy!", joked Rarity. The alabaster unicorn was giggling, her hoof covering her mouth.
Twilight spoked, "Come on you three, let them be. Let's go do something else." The purple alicorn herds them away as she looked back having them a wink. The two pegasi looked at each other, their cheeks burning in embarrassment. They quickly finished up their fluffy treat. Music was heard in the background.
They look up to see who was playing. "Rainbow, isn't that Rara?" Fluttershy gasped. The athlete looked up and spotted the white musician. "Oh, yeah!" She hopped off the bench and bowed to her lover. "Care for a dance, Miss Shy?" The pretty yellow pony nodded with a giggle. "You can be so romantic, my Dashie." She hopped off and grabbed her lover by the shoulders as they slow dance to the music.
Rainbow Dash feels like she would melt as her lover snuggled close while they dance. She paused and gazed into the beautiful eyes of her mare. She loved her eyes, the way they sparkle in the sun. She pressed her lips against Fluttershy's. She moans as the animal lover kissed her back. They then broke apart, while Dash buried her head in the soft mane, breathing in the sweet scent of her lover.
As the sun was setting, she leads her mare friend to the Ferris Wheel. They hopped in one of the carts and the worker shut it. The ride was starting to get higher and Rainbow heard a squeak of fright. Look over to see her mare pressing against her shivering with fear. She wrapped her wing around her and caressed her face with a hoof. "Hey, Flutters, no need to be afraid, you got me here to protect to you," she cooed as she presses her face against her's. The ride paused at the top. Fluttershy lookout with a gasp as she watches Celestia's sunset, painting the sky full of colors.
"Rainbow, this is beautiful!", she breathes. "Do you know what's more beautiful?", asked the checky pegasus. "What?" Rainbow booped her nose with a hoof, "you are, my sunshine." The quiet mare hid behind her mane with a blush. Rainbow brush her mane out of her face. "Hey, don't hide pretty face." she breathed. She lifted her face and press her lips against her's. She deepened the kiss, her hoof stroking the pink mane.
She broke apart pressing her forehead against Fluttershy's. This was one of the best days of her life.
