//------------------------------// // Dark Omens 2 // Story: Geeks of the Round Table: The Dark Invasion // by Gem Productions //------------------------------// “Alright! Phase 2, let’s go!” Bill said, returning to the place where the Infernal Obsidian and 4 of the Lightless Candles were up to perform the Ritual. “This is where we summon the Serpent,” Dimentio informed the group. “Do we use the blood now?” Flowey asked. “Yep. Drac, make the rune!” Bill said, before Dracula drew the rune from the blood. Then Bill stood facing the obelisk at one of the rune’s 8 points. “ARELO ERACUDNAM OTNEMEM!”Bill chanted. Then the rune began to glow, and pulsated with power. Then the niche on the wall formed by the first ritual began to glow, as it was filled by a flaming serpent that slithered through the groove to complete the seal. “Now all we have to do is find a lotta Dark Power!” Flowey said. “Fawful! I see your frown! Is there an issue?” Dimentio said. “No, Fawful is lacking the ‘something wrong,’” Fawful said, trying to avoid detection. “Isn’t it beautiful? All the worlds, plunged into eternal night! Oh but it’s gonna get better! Just you wait, once we have a buncha dark power, the show’s gonna get BIG!” Bill said. “Let the Night FALL!!” Dracula said.  “What is-a that?” Luigi asked worriedly, pointing up at the sky, where ominous things indeed were happening. “Something we all should be afraid of,” Whis said. In the sky, the clouds had cleared, but it suddenly, at 1:15 PM, had become night. The strange cloud formation suddenly glowed like fire, and into center slithered a great, similarly glowing serpent, forming a terrible seal. “That seal… I’ve seen it before… A friend of mine had it on his arm… That snake…! It was on his arm! ” Daphnes said. “What do you mean you saw it on someone’s arm?! DO YOU MEAN THAT WE HAVE ANOTHER TO DEAL WITH?!” Beerus said. “Whatever this is, get ready. It’s nothing good,” The Grand Priest said. “We should be ready for anything, right?” Zeno said. In a dorm of Beacon Academy, four students watched the happenings from their window. “This doesn’t seem safe… I’m a bit worried about it… it reminds me too much of the White Fang,” Blake said, before Ozpin contacted the group. “...However, this is much more dangerous than them… This is the beginning of an Entity’s return… and he must be stopped,” Ozpin said, looking at the four. “Then we’ll help as best we can,” Ruby Rose said, grabbing onto Crescent Rose. “Hey, c'mon sis… Let’s get ready for the battle and end it!” Yang said, readying her Ember Celica. “We should be at least be a bit careful,” Weiss said, and readied Myrtenaster. “Though be warned, while you may be stronger now, you are still only young… Teamwork may get you far, but this opponent will be stronger than any Grimm you face.” Ozpin said. “We won’t let you down, Professor, We promise,” Ruby said. Then the group set off.  “I suppose it’s time you got some answers,” Celestia said. The group had assembled at Beerus’s planet with all of their allies. “Indeed, ones that I don’t think anyone could shed some light on the matter of the Entity of Shadows like you could… Can you please tell us more?” Daphnes said. “Yeah, like, what does this ritual even do?” Captain Falcon said. “Just in case THEY don’t know.” Pinkie Pie said, breaking the Fourth Wall. ”Right,” Celestia said.  “Anyway, long ago, when Fangea was still somewhat new, just after the Death Battle era had ended and we all went back to Good VS Evil, a terrible demon attacked the worlds. This demon went world to world, destroying everything that didn’t match his vision. Many of the villains from the various worlds joined him. To further explain, I’ll need a certain book. Twilight, will you get The Legend of the Entity of Shadows Shadows  for me?”   “Oh, Of course! I made a copy so that way the entire tale could be kept intact if it ever got stolen, damaged, some of the pages came out, or destroyed entirely!” Twilight said, giving the book to Celestia. “Long ago,” Celestia read from the book, “An entity of supreme power and evil menaced the fandoms. This demon changed all he saw to be like himself, and recruited many across Fangea to join him in his conquest. He was called...” Celestia paused, as if to afraid to invoke some terrible evil that might come from speaking the name. “...Darkness.” “Oooooh. Very scary,” Mario said. “No time for Sarcasm, Mario. Besides, I’m actively interested in who this Darkness is,” Daphnes said. “Wait a minute,” Pit said. “Why are you suddenly now helping us? If you want to help, why were you trying to stop us earlier?” “Because I was afraid,” Celestia said. “Afraid? Of what?” Toriel asked. “You were put in a similar position of power as others before you, weren’t you?” Daphnes asked. “No, that’s not it… Luna, you had best tell them.” Celestia said. “I… I can’t. You tell them.” Luna said, terrified. “Very well… The reason I was scared of anything regarding Darkness was that… Luna was once a member of Darkness’s legions… Known as Nightmare Moon. I feared that if Darkness’s influence was to return, she would succumb to who she was,” Celestia said. “Nightmare Moon? Why does that name sound all too familiar to me?” Daphnes asked himself, before Twilight facehoofed and gave him something that allowed him to see what happened the day Luna was banished to the moon. “But it’s more than that,” Celestia said “During the original invasion, Nightmare Moon sided with Dracula to send half of Equestria into Darkness’s realm. It was only reclaimed by the sacrifice of one member of a group of heroes, which are detailed in this book,” Celestia tried to read on, but all the other pages had been torn out. “What?! I thought the legend was here!” Celestia asked, confused about what had happened to the pages. “You mean that some of the pages are missing?! Someone must’ve torn them out or something-...Luna, what pages did you remove from the book again?” Daphnes asked, worried she might’ve accidentally ripped out the pages. “No… This was not my doing,” Luna said. “That’s not good,” Serif said. “Well, what’s our next step?” Goku said. “...I don’t know. I don’t think Bill and the others can actually complete the ritual, because there’s two elements that don’t exist in Fangea,” Luna said. “And what would those two elements be, exactly?” Daphnes asked. “The words to the final portion of the ritual, that I took from the scroll Bill has and burned. Also, a way to store large amounts of negative energy. The only source I know of are siren crystals, and the last known were destroyed a year ago in a world not connected to Fangea,” Luna said. “Beg your pardon, but do you have a record of these sirens?” Mettaton said. “I do. I can show you,” Twilight said, showing him a journal. “Thank you,” Mettaton said, leaving the room. “Hey! Where's Mettaton going?” Krillin asked. “Fawful has brought the pages. Through the ages, they have not faltered in their accuracy of the Original Heroes. And with them comes Heroes anew!” Fawful said, bringing a stack of old papers to the Light Cancer headquarters in Tartarus, with the assistance of Hades. “Excellent. These pages will prove instrumental in defeating the Entity of Shadows, however, the time is not right to reveal them,” Tirek said. “You know, Tirek, They may already know the fact that The Entity of Shadows is named Darkness and also, we shouldn’t reveal what’s on these pages right? I don’t think they need to know that quite yet,” Hades said, breaking the 4th wall for the 2ND TIME AND IT’S ONLY PART 1! “Oh come now, even this story needs a few Fourth Wall Breaks now and then, after all, isn’t it a bit unexpected that you’re lecturing a character about not breaking the Fourth Wall, whilst said character is supposed to do that in the story, D30?” Hades… just… why did you do this? “Probably because you and D30 want this to happen so that way you can keep those on both sides relatively entertained, Sword.” Alright, Alright… Just… close the fourth wall so that way this story can finish this chapter? No worries, I’ll keep it in.
