All of the Crusaders' Pokemon ran into Ponyville, with Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo close behind.
"We're here!" Sweetie Belle exclaimed. "Where's the Gym?"
"Is it in Sugarcube Corner?" Scootaloo asked. She approached a young filly and colt. "Where's the Gym?"
"Here!" the unicorn filly exclaimed. "Me and Pound will show you! C'mon Pound!"
Pound Cake and Pumpkin Cake led the three of them to Sugarcube Corner.
"Our parents and Pinkie Pie work here! C'mon! We'll lead you to the Gym!" Pound exclaimed, his wings fluttering as they went up the stairs. They opened a secret entrance, sliding down.
Scootaloo, Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom landed flanks first, whereas the Cake Twins did not.
"Hi Pound! Hi Pumpkin! Oh!" Pinkie Pie noticed the Crusaders. "Hi! You'll have to get through three battles with each of my sisters! And with Pound and Pumpkin! Good luck~"
She hopped away onto an area at the end, with a fox-like Pokemon following her.
"Well are you ready to fight?" Pound Cake asked. Scootaloo nodded.
"I'll fight you two first!" Scootaloo exclaimed. "And then... um..."
"Ah will!" Apple Bloom exclaimed.
"I'll be the judge!" Sweetie Belle exclaimed. Skitty and Fennekin followed her to the side of the battleground.
"Plusle!" "Minun!"
"Plus!" "Min!"
"Torchic, I choose you!" Scootaloo exclaimed. Torchic ran in front of her.
"Plusle, use Thundershock!" Pound Cake exclaimed.
Torchic tried to run out of the way but Plusle's Thundershock hit her.
"Torchic, use Ember on Minun!" Scootaloo exclaimed. A ball of fire exited his mouth and hurtled towards Minun.
Minun dodged the fireball and hit Torchic with Quick Attack.
"Chic!" Torchic exclaimed, getting knocked out of the way. His eyes turned to spirals as he fainted.
"F - Fletchling!" Scootaloo stammered. The bird flew in front of her. "Use Quick Attack on Plusle!"
Fletchling hit Plusle as he hurtled away, fainting.
"Plusle!" Pound Cake flew toward his Pokemon. "Pumpkin, you'll have to do this yourself! I need to get to the Pokemon Center!"
Pumpkin nodded as she exclaimed, "Minun, use Spark!"
Electricity gathered around Minun as it went toward Fletchling.
She managed to fly out of the way of the attack, going toward her in a twirling tackle. Blue energy surrounded her as in the aura she changed.
"Fletchinder!" she exclaimed.
Fletchinder hit Minun as she flew above it. "Chinder!"
"Fletchling, you evolved!" Scootaloo exclaimed. Pumpkin Cake ran toward her Pokemon as Scootaloo scanned Fletchinder with the Pokedex. Fletchinder, the Ember Pokémon, and the evolved form of Fletchling. Fletchinder flies faster and faster as the flame sac on its stomach gradually heats up."
"Scootaloo wins with Torchic and Fletchl - Fletchinder!" Sweetie Belle exclaimed.
"Well our Pokemon are beaten up so you can go onwards." Pumpkin said, teleporting out of the Party Cave.
The fillies fought all of Pinkie's sisters as Sweetie Belle teleported over to Pinkie.
"Hi Apple Bloom! And Sweetie Belle! And Scootaloo! LET'S FIGHT!!!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed. Next to her sat the same fox-like Pokemon. "Go, Swirlix!"
"Ah'll go first!" Apple Bloom exclaimed. "Bulbasaur!"
Bulbasaur jumped in front of her.
"I'll give you the first move!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed.
"Okay! Bulbasaur!" Apple Bloom whispered something incoherent in Bulbasaur's ear. She nodded. Vines came out from her bulb and touched Swirlix's tail. Swirlix was distracted, and she tangled her in vines.
"Swirlix!" Swirlix whimpered. Tears were coming out from her eyes. "Swirl!"
As the vines retracted Swirlix fainted. "Lix lix lix swirl..."
"Clefairy!" Pinkie Pie's mane tossed a Pokeball as a Clefairy came out. "Metronome!"
"Metronome?" Scootaloo asked. One of Clefairy's fingers wagged back and forth and glowed blue, as she pulled Bulbasaur into the sky.
"SAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUR!" Bulbasaur yelled as she was thrown down from the sky and fainted.
Apple Bloom growled. "Cherubi!"
"Bibi!" Cherubi exclaimed.
"Use Leech Seed!" Apple Bloom exclaimed.
Seeds bloomed around Cherubi as they sucked some health from Clefairy, as they planted in the ground surrounding her.
"Dazzling Gleam!" Pinkie exclaimed. A flash of light dealed damage to Cherubi from the brightness, but after the seeds sucked health from Clefairy again.
"Fair... y..." Clefairy shook her head, jumping up. "Clefairy!"
Without Pinkie Pie saying to, she waggled her fingers again, using Metronome.
A loud sound came and its sound waves injured Cherubi, knocking her back. She braced against the attack and yet again used Tackle, fainting Clefairy.
"Sylveon!" the fox-like Pokemon jumped in front of her. "Use Attract!"
"Attract?" Apple Bloom asked. "They're the same gender!"
"Oh... crud..." Pinkie murmured. "Use Sparkly Swirl!"
A whirlwind with an overpowering scent surrounded Cherubi. She braced against it, but was low on health.
Sweetie Belle scanned her with her Pokedex. "Cherubi has one eighth of health left."
"CHEEEEEEEEEERUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUBIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!" Cherubi yelled, bumping into Sylveon multiple times. "Ru! Ru! Ru! Ru! Ru! Ru! Ru! Ru! Ru! Ru!"
Sylveon rolled her eyes, kicking Cherubi and fainting her.
Bulbasaur jumped up. "Bulba!"
"I think that she's saying she can fight." Sweetie Belle said. "I mean, I may or may not have healed her and Pinkie's Pokemon..."
Bulbasaur tangled Sylveon in vines, hitting her against the ground multiple times. "Bulb! Bul! Ba!"
Sylveon stood up with multiple scrapes, running toward Bulbasaur and using Swirly Swirl on her. Bulbasaur seemed unphased, and simply tackled her and Sylveon fainted.
"Sylveon is unable to battle! The winner is Apple Bloom!" Sweetie Belle exclaimed. She healed Cherubi and Sylveon, as they went back to their respective owners.
"Here!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed, handing her a badge that looked much like her Element of Harmony. "This is the Badge of Laughter."
The three Crusaders hoofbumped.
