After an incident of which I completely refuse to speak, I went directly to Carousel Boutique in search of Rarity. As I had expected, she was home, and she seemed to be working hard on something. Upon further investigation, it was a bracelet.
"Hello, Rarity. How goes the bracelet?"
"It's going marvelously well, Roborygon," Rarity replied, "although I did need a little help. Isn't that right, Tails?"
I focused my vision beyond Rarity and noticed my yellow vulpine ally with twice his namesake. "That's right. This Z-Ring ore is very difficult to carve without precision tools such as mine. Right now, we're about ninety-eight percent complete."
"All that's left is to decorate it. Luckily, I found several jewels lying around that I could use." Rarity opened a drawer, revealing several pink crystals shaped like the diamond suit.
Tails gasped, "Those are not mere jewels. They are Fairium Z crystals!"
"Oh, my! I hadn't realized that I was using the very items that you used to defeat Void Termina! I beg your pardon, Tails, but do you still have yours?"
Tails looked at his left wrist. "Apparently I don't. I'm sorry you got your hopes up, Rarity."
"Oh, don't worry about it." Rarity gave Tails a Fairium Z. "Here, you need it more than I do."
"Thanks." Tails turned to me. "Do you think the impact from the debris knocked the Fairium Z crystals out of our Z-Rings?"
I replied, "That is a very possible cause. My apologies, Rarity, but may I please return those Z-Crystals to their rightful owners?"
"But of course!" Rarity handed the Z-Crystals to me, and I downloaded them into my hammerspace storage module. After a pause, Rarity asked, "Do you think Pinkie Pie had me make a Z-Ring, likely without even knowing it?"
"That is my best hypothesis. She was most likely showing her affection for Maud. She will be most amazed when some stone friend of Maud's hit a villain with a very massive rock that explodes afterwards! If you don't like the sound of that, then I suggest you ask Pummel Fist to have one of his Pokemon use a Z-Move of utter serenity, but it doesn't have to be in those exact words. Without further ado, I must be on my way. Farewell!"
Objective added: Return Z-Crystals to their owners.
Rarity stopped me. "By the way, here's the Z-Ring. It doesn't look quite as stunning without those crystals, but then again, the dullness suits Maud. Tell her it was an honor for me to create the bracelet for her!"
