“D-Daddy?" asked Aelita.
“Yes, yes it’s me, Aelita... It is strange being a pony isn’t it my dear? Wasn't that one of your dreams when you were younger?" said Franz.
"Um... I know it’s nice to catch up but there is still the complete end of all life in existence that we kinda have to fix!" said Twilight trying to get everyone back to the matter at hand.
“Right! And uh... I'm so sorry what are your names?"
The ponies all introduced themselves.
“So, can you all tell me why this supposedly beautiful town looks like it just got hit by a 9.0 earthquake?" asked Franz.
“Well, there were some robots that came through the portal that were made by XA.N.A. Back when he was alive. They wrecked the town, but almost as if they were searching for something, not trying to destroy us." Aelita explained to her father.
“Ahh I know what's going on!" said Franz.
“W-Wait you do?! Wow, I thought this was going to be a lot longer, now we can fix it and go home-" Jeremy was cut short by Franz.
"Well we can fix it, but we can't get home any time soon..."
“But why?" asked Odd.
"Well you see, there is an opening in the portal still, the problem is that the portal right now is the size of an elementary particle, so unless you can compress yourself to that size without turning into a black hole, then you could go home..." explained Franz.
"Oh... Ok how do we fix it?"
"Well, here is the thing, what you saw, was a program I was testing before I went to Lyoko, I thought I would have enough time to finish it, but I was wrong. It is an inter-dimensional search engine, I created it incase X.A.N.A were ever to be destroyed, which happened, it would search for a new type of control program with aspects similar to X.A.N.A. The robots in Siberia were built for that purpose, to search for another program similar to X.A.N.A to up-hold Lyoko, for you see, XA.N.A was the only thing keeping Lyoko together, that black hole in sector five and the computer room was the real world and Lyoko falling apart, as you remember, Lyoko is connected by the towers, and anything that happened on Lyoko would happen to the real world." Franz explained to the others.
“But why didn’t the world get destroyed when Lyoko was destroyed by William?" asked Twilight.
“Ah yes good question Ms. Sparkle, you see, X.A.N.A has a sort of, constant effect program running that he isn’t aware of, it minimizes the link to Lyoko and the real world, but as you saw, now that X.A.N.A is gone, that black hole opened up. That is why the robots are looking in different dimensions for another program close enough to X.A.N.A for the computer!" said Franz.
“So what now?" asked Odd.
“That’s where the problem is, there is no program with anything close to X.A.N.A's powers that can fit the super computer..." said Franz.
” Wait... Can't you just recreate it?" Twilight said in hopes to help raise the hopes of the others.
“Oh yes of course! How could i forget! There is one thing, it will take a while to get this done, remember it took me about 2000 days to finish all that? So in the meantime while I work on the program, we will all be stuck here..." said Franz.
“Well I guess it’s not all bad, at least we have friends!" said Odd cheerfully.
Hehehehe… Everything is going according to plan
