The whole gang was waiting for us at the Divine Terminus: Pummel Fist (in his Magma Suit), Heart Fist (in her Aqua Suit), Keldeo, King Dedede, Meta Knight, Bandana Waddle Dee, Lucario, Helix (some guy who became a Pokemon--Decidueye, to be precise--to fight Pummel to blow off steam but lost and became his friend), Mario, Luigi, Paper Mario, Princess Peach, and Team Sonic (Sonic, Tails, and Amy, all riding in Tails' biplane, the Tornado Mk III). They were all cheering and applauding.
"You put on a great show, Kirby," Helix said. How did he know?
Lucario read my mind. "A strange little creature showed us a film that depicted your battle with Chrysalis and Hyness. I think his name was Discord. Oh, you know him? ...A reformed villain with chaotic powers? How appropriate. Anyway, you did well. Clever strategizing and use of your ESP Ability. Although, it would have been amusing to watch you utilize a Jedi mind trick, such as convincing Chrysalis to attack Hyness or to transform into a very weak creature like a Breezie."
I facepalmed. I really should have thought of that.
"Melele..." Meloetta sighed.
"Don't worry, Celestia did see the battle." A small Discord appeared. "Discord had two of me send the video: one to you guys, and one to Celestia and Luna. And let me tell you, their jaws were dropped!" Mini Discord demonstrated by letting his jaw fall to the floor before putting it back in his mouth.
"Rise, Destroyer of Worlds... RISE, VOID TERMINA!" Uh oh. The Jamba Heart wasn't complete, but Hyness had sacrificed his generals and himself to the Heart to complete it, causing it to change into a dark energy that floated away.
Pummel looked at Keldeo. "Think it's time for our ultimate power?"
"Yep. Let's crush that big bad."
"All right. Let our hearts become one as we unleash our full power... BOND PHENOMENON!" Pummel and Keldeo were covered in rainbow energy, and when it left, the two looked awesome: Pummel's hair became needle-sharp, his hands were shrouded in water, and the yellow check mark symbols on his shoes detached and became like lightning pistols or boomerangs, or maybe even both. As for Keldeo, his mane was literally on fire, his hooves were covered in water, like feathering, and the feathers in his mane became longer and sharper, and connected to his sword, so Keldeo had four swords instead of one! He also had the same yellow check marks on his chest, connected to form an electric heart. Pummel Fist was now Keldeo-Pummel, and Keldeo was now Pummel-Keldeo!
Suddenly, a pedestal crashed onto the ground. A Friend Platform. There was only room for four friends, though. But Roborygon had an idea. "Can't we split into groups of four to each get on and activate the Friend Action depicted?"
Pummel grinned. "Of course! You guys can do that, but first, I'd like to try something. Something I've never tried before." He then threw both of his Thunderrangs (that's what I called his electric boomerangs), and they stuck together like a magnet and formed a heart, like the one on Pummel-Keldeo's chest. "Kirby, you inspired me to try this, because friendship really is magic. Keldeo, on the count of three, we make contact with this heart simultaneously. One, two... THREE!"
