Rainbow Dash was sitting down in front of the fireplace, staring into the fire. She was currently waiting for Toriel to finish making breakfast, so in the meantime she was doing what any bored 5 year old filly would do in a situation like this. 

Get into trouble.

Usually that wouldn't be much of a problem. Unfortunately, this filly wasn't a normal filly.

She was Rainbow Dash.

That and she also had a troublemaking, equally as bored demonic child hitchhiking in her head.

Okay Rainbow Dash, if my theory is correct and we can use magic, then this SHOULD work.

Rainbow nodded, she could feel her determination growing. It was pumping through her veins, filling the small pegasus with energy. 

Let's go over the plan one more time. What you need to do is focus your intention and direct it into your SOUL, which should resonate with your DETERMINATION. This should cause a magical feedback that will manifest your intentions into reality. You got this all remorized?

Rainbow nodded again. The hue-mon was using big words but the filly got the gist of what she was saying.

Let's just hope that we don't burn the house down. Chara mumbled to herself before she spoke directly to the young filly. You ready, partner?

Rainbow grinned in a way that would seem nerve-racking if in came from anyone but her.

Ready!

Launching in 3...2...1--

The pegasus focused her intentions and made a loud sound in the back of her throat.

FIRE THE LOOGIE!

With a loud hack, Rainbow launched a bright red ball of wet disgustingness into the fire.

The flames reacted by causing a miniature explosion.

Next thing Rainbow knew she was covered in soot and sitting in the corner, blinking stupidly at the wall. Her angry goat-mom was pacing around ranting about the dangers of mixing DETERMINATION with monster magic.

Welp, THAT just happened.

Rainbow nickered with a bit of anxiety.

Mom is angry!

Calm down, it's not the end of the world. Okay, sure, we burt the floor-

-And the rug. Rainbow added.

And the rug... but still! At least we didn't set the house on fire, right? Things could have been a LOT worse.

... I guess you're right-- but mom still looks like her head is going to pop.

Fascinating. I wonder what that would that look like? Chara mummbled gleefully.

Chaaara, that kills people! Rainbow whined.

Silence.

The hue-mon suddenly broke out laughing.

What? What did I say? Why are you laughing??

Rainbow Dash?

Yeah?

You are now officially awesome.

A big grin appeared on the filly's face that seemed to stretch from one ear to the other. She puffed out her chest-- which, unknown to her, caused her fur and down feathers to poof out cutely.

Suddenly, there was a high-pitched squeal that caused Dashie to nearly jump out of her fur. The small filly whipped around and stared at Toriel in shock. The boss monster had her large paws over her mouth, gazing at Rainbow Dash with a starstruck expression.

"Rainbow Dash, my child, you are so adorable~!"

Cue embarrassed filly squeak.
