Today is Parents' Day at the School of Friendship.
Everypony and creature’s parents making the journey either north, south, east or west just to see their son(s) or daughter(s), all the while know what they’ve been up to. Along with doing plenty of arts and crafts and other festivities planned out for the day.
Well, almost all of everycreature’s parents came.
All except for Gallus, who you may remember, is an orphan.
While everyone is out enjoying the festivities of the day, Gallus is all by himself, sitting at a lonesome picnic table atop a hill overlooking everything, alone and sad.
Until Twilight finally notices the lonely griffin, feeling a little sympathy for him, and walking over to Gallus.
“Hey there Gallus.” Twilight said to him with a bright smile, the griffin slowly moving his head to look at her.
“I can see that today seems to be bothering you. Wanna talk about it?”
Gallus sits straight up, taking in a deep breath.
“Today isn’t exactly my most favorite. Considering I don’t have parents of my own to celebrate with.” Gallus puts on a sad face.
