I felt my music could not be bound to Ponyville and Las Pegasus, so I flew to the place that only the most royal of royalty could  be allowed to hear my song: Canterlot Castle. The guards made way for my melodic presence, giving me access to the throne room.

"Greetings, Meloetta," Celestia said. "How might you be?"

"Mele!" I replied.

"That's good. Now, what is the reason you came here?"

I took out the Pokemon Flute and showed the princesses.

"Oh, you wish to play for us? That would be most pleasing for us to hear a song from you. Go right ahead and play to your heart's content."

"Melele!" And so, I did. I played the Flute to the very best of my abilities, which of course meant that I played well enough to make the princesses awestruck. They were so entranced by my skillful playing of Lugia's song that they didn't even notice my colleague nearby. Time for the grand finale...

"What is this?" I hadn't planned for visitors, let alone my technologically incredible ally, Roborygon. "You must be a fast learner, Meloetta. You already learned Dazzling Gleam or Acrobatics?"

I winked. "Me, mele."

"True, you are the embodiment of music, which is dazzling and goes up and down both in pitch and volume. But I must ask, why did you play Lugia's song an octave lower?"

"Me mele... melele me."

"Hmm, I see... I know that you played it lower due to the princesses' royalty status, but you already played it in front of Twilight Sparkle, who happens to be a princess herself, so why do it an octave lower for Celestia and Luna? My theory is--"

"Melele!" Could it be? Another me! "Mele me!"

"Ha ha! My suspicions were confirmed. My melodic partner says that lower-pitched songs are attributed to villains, so she completely ratted you out! Reveal yourself, fiendish imposter!"

My ruse had come to an end. "Curses! My disguise was foiled again!" I transformed into a more comfortable form for me, my natural form: the Changeling Queen Chrysalis!

Roborygon burst into laughter. "You actually thought you had me fooled? That's preposterous!"

I raised an eyebrow. "Wait, you knew who I was the whole time, yet you acted as if I was the real Meloetta?"

"It amused me to watch you try to come up with reasons behind your actions."

Celestia chuckled. "He makes a point. It was kind of amusing to watch."

I growled. "You dare humiliate me in front of Celestia and Luna?! I shall crush you for that!"

"Not if I can help it!" Roborygon's antenna flashed. "Calling Star Allies, calling Star Allies! Queen Chrysalis has been spotted at Canterlot Castle."

"Melele mele melele me!"

"Oh." Roborygon turned to me. "Are you sure you want to fight us here, in the castle? The castle could be ruined by the battle, so you wouldn't be able to turn it into your personal castle."

"Good point. Should we take this match outside?"

"Not just outside. There's this place called Ponyville, and there's nothing of value to you that could be destroyed. After we're all finished off, you can return here to take over Canterlot then spread your influence all over Equestria!"

I grinned. "I like the way you think. But if I don't see you and your friends there in ten minutes, I'll start without you."

"Understood. Star Allies, change of plans. We're battling Chrysalis in Ponyville, in ten minutes. Make your way there immediately!"

I teleported outside, where my colleague was preparing an ice spell to freeze Celestia. "That's enough, Hyness. Rather than take down Celestia, we're going to destroy the heroes of Equestria and the so-called Star Allies first."
