Epilogue: Brave New World

Canterlot, Equestria, Planet Harmony; a week later…

If there was any time the Power Rangers felt nervous, it was today as they were led to the Throne Room of Canterlot Castle after defeating not only Rita once again, but also stopping a Coup by the Traditionalists and Amadeus Blueblood.

Entering the Throne Room, the Power Rangers all entered as many ponies and other creatures looked at them as they then reached the area were the Royal Sisters and Princess Cadence were waiting for them.

“Welcome, Power Rangers…” Princess Celestia said warmly.

“Hello there, your highness…” Jason said calmly.

“So, what is it that we’re here again?” Trini asked.

Princess Celestia stood up and came down from her throne and motioned the heroes to follow her. Walking along the corridors, Princess Celestia showed a stain glass window that showed the Power Ranger’s first victory against Rita.

“That was funny, seeing Rita being slapped away like that, even funnier the second time.” Zack said.

The second stained glass window showed the Power Rangers saving Twilight Sparkle from the Rita and getting the Green Ranger powers turned to good as it showed them, Sunset Shimmer in her White Ranger outfit and Twilight Sparkle all together at Canterlot High in triumph.

“So, what’s Sunny up to?” Billy asked.

“She’s semi-retired but however, she will hold on to the White Ranger coin just in case Rita shows her head where she is at again. Flash is retiring as the Green Ranger as Shining Armor, Cadence, my sister Luna and I are also retired as well.”

“So, we won’t see you all again as Rangers?” Kimberly asked in concern.

Princess Celestia then spoke, “Don’t be worried, your team as shown to be worthy guardians of Earth. Twilight and her friends will still be Rangers though it’ll be every now and then. Your determination to see Twilight saved and stopping the Coup by Amadeus and his minions is why you were chosen to be Power Rangers and are worthy of such honor. Even the smallest chance of victory should still be a reason enough for true heroes to keep fighting no matter the odds.”

Then, Princess Celestia showed the newest stain glass window that was just being finished up; the one that showed Jason’s team, Twilight’s team, Sunset Shimmer, the Royal Sisters, Princess Cadence, Flash Sentry and Shining Armor all in ranger form in triumph with both Earth and Equestria in the backgrounds.

“I have given both Flash Sentry and Shining Armor Knighthood as your five have shown yourselves worthy of a high honor as I, Princess Celestia along with my sister Princess Luna, Princess Cadence and Princess Twilight Sparkle dub thee all…honorary Knights of Equestria…” Princess Celestia said with pride.

They all walked back to the Throne room as then, both Princess Celestia and Princess Luna each pulled out a ceremonial cavalry saber that were decorated for each sister.

Moments later, all five rangers knelt before the sisters as both Princesses Celestia and Luna each gently tapped the left shoulder and right shoulder of the heroes.

“Now, rise Sir Jason Scott, Sir Billy Cranston, Sir Zack Taylor, Lady Trini Kwan and Lady Kimberly Hart….” Princess Celestia said softly, but firmly.

Once the five heroes rose up, the expressions on the Royal Sisters turned serious prompting Jason to speak up in concern at the change of the mood.

“What’s wrong?”

“There is one thing left to attend to; the trial of those who tried to overthrow us…” Princess Celestia said.

Sometime later, the Power Rangers were back in Equestria this time for the trial of Amadeus Blueblood, Morning Blade and King Marx of Unicornia.

The leader of Unicornia had met with Amadeus in the past and had plans with him including the arranged marriage of his son Prince Silverwing to Majesty Blueblood of things. After hearing what had happened, the Unicornia king decided to cut his losses and surrender in hopes of getting a lighter punishment.

However, Princess Celestia was not going to let the Unicornia king off that easily. In a section of Canterlot Castle, the Power Rangers stood near the Royal Sisters in case anything happened.

Then, the treasonous ponies including Amadeus were brought forth under heavy guard and restrain including the Unicornia king who tired to look strong but failing.

The king had snow white mane and tail that included his bushy beard as well, blood red fur, golden-yellow eyes and was wearing a prisoner robe of dark gray and black. Amadeus was wearing the same along with Morning Blade and a few others as well that Jason’s team didn’t know.

“Hey Jason, something tells me that this will not be like Judge Judy…” Billy said quietly to Jason.

“Nope, not at all.” Jason said quietly.

After everyone was seated, they then had to rise again as Princesses Celestia, Luna, Cadence and Twilight all came in before everyone sat back down.

Princess Celestia’s face bore not love or compassion, but rather of someone who was outright furious of what had transpired over the last few weeks as moments later, the Alicorn of the Sun spoke up.

“Amadeus Blueblood, you are formally charged with high Treason against Equestria, Destruction of Private and Public Property, Attempted Regicide, Exploitation of your son Blueblood Jr, two accounts of Foal Abuse, Corruption, Abuse of Power, Bribery, Attempted First-Degree Murder and Illegal Usage of Dark Magic on a Filly. You are also being charged with attempted Crime of Genocide against humanity. do you plead Guilty or Not Guilty?”

Amadeus looked away before he looked up with a snarl and gave a death glare to the Royal Sisters, the Power Rangers and lastly, to Twilight Sparkle herself before he spoke up.

“Are you that stupid that I would plead guilty for what needed to be done? NO! My actions are justified in that I was saving Equestria from Doom! Especially against that bitch you call Twilight Sparkle! As for my worthless son, I could care less about him as he was a failure and broken beyond fixing, Majesty was to be the true heir until that helot came along!”

Then Amadeus looked at the Power Rangers in all of his full-blown hatred before he settled back down in his seat as Princess Luna then spoke to Morning Blade.

“Morning Blade, thy is formally charged with Treason, Attempted Crimes of Genocide Against Humanity and Destruction of Private and Public Property…Guilty or Not Guilty?”

“Not Guilty…” Morning Blade said bitterly.

The trials went on for several hours with both Amadeus and Morning Blade trying to justify their actions while King Marx looked like he wanted to die.

Then, the verdict came in; Death for Amadeus and Morning Blade while King Marx got Life in Prison while the few others got the same punishment.

As they were being led away, Morning Blade shouted a final insult at Twilight Sparkle and the Power Rangers before he was led away to be hanged.

A dark chapter in Equestria’s history was now over and done, but however another one was on the horizon; the wedding of Flash Sentry and Twilight Sparkle.

“Uh, Jason are we going to do stuff for that wedding in our Ranger forms?” Billy asked.

“Not likely…” Jason said.

A month later….

Jason could not believe what he was partaking in as if he told any other person, he would be labeled as crazy except this was real as this was the wedding of Flash Sentry and Princess Twilight Sparkle.

Currently, he was the only one since Zordon needed everyone else to protect Earth while Kimberly took charge. Jason was representing not only Earth, but the Power Rangers as well.

Jason did see Shining Armor balling like a baby since his sister was getting married and he didn’t blame him for that. Then, Flash arrived in a nice dark, blue suit.

Moments later, the rest of the groomsmen arrived as well as did the bridesmaids including Twilight’s friends. Jason then saw the grand moment had arrived; the bride had just arrived.

Watching Night Light walk his daughter down the aisle, Jason knew that his dad would potentially do the same if his sister got married as well.

Those thoughts were put away for now as Twilight arrived at the Altar wearing a very nice and lovely dress that was a sleeveless, white dress.

The one presiding over the ceremony was Princess Celestia herself as after looking over the audience before her including Marble Pie’s son Borax Pie, she then spoke.

“Ladies and Gentlecolts, we are gathered here to witness a very lovely occasion, the wedding of Flash Sentry and Princess Twilight Sparkle. Their love endured various trials including a certain Rita Repulsa, but they’ve overcome both and now will be together at last.”

Jason saw both Flash and Twilight exchange their vows as then, the rings were exchanged as then, the best part came as the rest of Jason’s team watched back on Earth.

“I now pronounce them husband and wife! Kiss the bride Flash, you may do so now….” Princess Celestia said happily.

Flash didn’t need to be told twice as he lifted Twilight’s veil and kissed his now wife as both he and Twilight exchanged a very happy, loving and passionate kiss.

An hour or two later, the reception was underway as Jason saw the pony named Vinyl Scratch play a song from Earth that Flash and Twilight asked to be played.

The song in question was from the movie Mannequin, but the message from the song somehow resonated with the couple and Jason was smiling at the sight of the couple dancing.

A week later, Jason was back in school with his teammates when they were all in the school assembly for a reason; a new pair of students had moved. Then, the principal spoke to his students and smiled warmly.

“I would now introduce you all to our newest students, Tommy and his twin sister Terri Oliver”

The two in question were twins with black hair as Tommy wore his long in a ponytail while his twin sister Terri wore hers in a short, boyish cut.

Tommy wore a dark green jacket and black pants while his sister wore a dark gray jacket and dark blue pants as Jason and his team both clapped along with the rest of the school.

Jason learned that both were in town when Rita attacked and helped with the citizens getting to safety as thus, Zordon asked for them to be brought to the command center.

Both were a bit surprised and nervous when the Power Rangers asked them to come with them back to their base. Those fears soon vanished when Zordon offered them a chance to be Power Rangers if they could prove themselves.

In the end when both power coins of the Dragonzord and Titanus went to the twins, both Tommy and Terri showed they were more than worthy as when Jason and his team looked closely at the twins, each of them had a power coin.

Tommy was chosen to be the fourth being to be the Green Ranger while his twin sister Terri was chosen to be the second Titanus Ranger or Silver Ranger.

When asked why Terri wanted to modify the colors, she explained that she wanted Sunset Shimmer to be the White Ranger while she was a bit different and everyone was cool with that.

After school was done, Jason’s team joined Tommy and Terri as all the looked out to the horizon as a new friendship between Earth and Equestria was forming with the now Queen Twilight Sparkle heading it.

Far, far away in the cold depths of space, a dark and sinister figure growled in anger as he clutched his staff that at the top of it was in the shape of the letter Z as he sat on his throne before he spoke up.

“So, Rita Repulsa has failed twice to get the Zeo Crystal! Not even teaming up with those worthless pony fools helped! In fact, it only made things worse!!”

The figure was a dark red figure that was humanoid, but his face was concealed with a red-tinted visor that had a metal exo-armor that was pure evil that could give one nightmares at a glance alone and had dark red wings with black-silver spikes protruding from them as his hands were pointed like knives as he stood up and spoke in anger.

“For now, I’ll let it slide, but if she fails me…repeatedly too many times, I will personally deal with these power brats myself! For I, Lord Zedd will deal with those punks!”
