//------------------------------// // Pinkie Pie and Skystar Crash a Fancy Restaurant // Story: SkyPie Fluff Fic // by HyperBlossom7 //------------------------------// Pinkie Pie hopped excitedly on her hooves as she waited at Princess Skystar’s door. Today was day two of their week together and she couldn’t wait to get started! It was about 9:30 in the morning and the two of them had agreed to head out at that time. Moments passed and the door finally opened, revealing a smiling Skystar. “Ooh Pinkie, just in time!” Skystar said. “My mom is worried about us going out alone without any bodyguards so I really want to leave before she makes me have them. Let’s go!” Pinkie grinned and said, “Who needs bodyguards when you have one certified element of harmony who has saved Equestria multiple times by your side!” “Exactly!” Skystar exclaimed. “That’s what I’ve been trying to tell her but she’s just so over-protective she won’t listen to anything I say!” “So same old Queen Novo? I see your point,” Pinkie said. “C’mon then!” As they headed out, Skystar started talking about what she was looking forward to. “I’ve been dying to have a look around the city! It is so big! I only got a glimpse when I went from the train station to the castle with my mom, but I saw a lot of fun things! There are so many rivers in Canterlot, it’s almost as good as Mount Aris!” “We can definitely play in the river,” said Pinkie agreeably. “But first we should get some food. We need fuel for a day of fun!” “Well the Tasty Treat was good last night, but I want to try somewhere else!” “Hmm.” Pinkie Pie looked thoughtful. “Well a lot of the restaurants here are full of stuffy ponies with really weird tastes.” Skystar tilted her head curiously at Pinkie Pie. “How do you mean?” “I’ll show you!” said Pinkie Pie. She led the princess to Restaurant Row, and to the first restaurant she saw. Once inside, Skystar could see ponies all gussied up in fancy outfits sitting at various tables in the room. She took a glance at some of the dishes and was shocked to see how small the portions were. Every dish could obviously be cleaned in two or three bites. “Well...I think this is a case where a small thing is not a good thing at all,” said Skystar. Then she seemed to be deep in thought while Pinkie Pie got them a table. Once they sat down, Skystar had a mischievous grin on her face. “I’ve got an idea, Pinkie Pie,” Skystar said. “We’ll two of everything on the menu and then mix it up a little bit!” Pinkie Pie’s body started to switch in a particular pattern that told her something exciting was about to happen. She grinned at Skystar and said, “I don’t know what you’re planning, but it sounds fun!” Skystar laughed melodiously. “Oh it will be!” she assured the earth pony. And so when the waiter came to serve them, Skystar ordered exactly everything on the menu. She assured Pinkie Pie she had enough bits to do so. She was a princess after all. Once they got the food, Skystar gathered all of the food and put it on one plate. She put the lid back on the platter and picked up both the plate and lid as one unit. Then she began to shake it up. Pinkie Pie could hear sloshing and thudding as food hit the inside walls of the unit. A smile started to grow on her lips as she saw where Skystar was going with this. A few more seconds and Skystar ceased her shaking. She set the platter down and removed the lid, revealing a mushed up gooey mess. Several gasps could be heard around them, which meant they had been watched by other patrons of the restaurant. “Young lady! You do not play with your food in this establishment!” One such pony said from a nearby table. Skystar gave the pony a blank stare, keeping her gaze long enough for the other mare to become uncomfortable. Finally Skystar spoke, loud enough for everypony in the room to hear. “Listen! I came here to do fun stuff and see fun things with my good friend Pinkie Pie.” She paused and pointed at the tiny meals on the other pony’s table. “That does not look like fun. Don’t you want to have fun while you eat your food?” The mare shook her head at Skystar. “Nonsense! I am a pony with standards, young lady. And I will not have you besmirching this restaurant’s good name. I suggest you sit down and eat your food the way you’re supposed to.” “Hey!” Pinkie Pie frowned angrily at the lady. “You can’t tell others how to eat! How about you mind your own business?” The mare snorted and leveled Pinkie Pie with a cold stare. “This happens to be my own business, young lady. And I can choose who can and can’t eat in my restaurant. I think you two should leave and go eat at a more….foal friendly establishment.” Skystar gasped in horror. “Hey, you can’t talk to your customers like that!” The mare got up from her seat and walked over, trying to make herself appear taller than Skystar. Of course she failed as Skystar was bigger than most ponies, but that didn’t stop her. “I will do as I please. Now I will ask you again, le-” SPLAT!! The mare was interrupted as she received a gooey dish in the face. The plate slid off slowly before clattering on the floor. Food dropped from a face that was slowly contorting into a look of rage. “Let’s run!” said Skystar to Pinkie Pie. The earth pony nodded and left a few bits on the table before hightailing it out of there with Skystar. The two friends giggled as they hurried out of the restaurant before collapsing outside in a fit of laughter. “Oh that was brilliant, Skystar!” Pinkie Pie exclaimed. “Did you see the look on her face?” Skystar asked. “Worth it if you ask me!” “Definitely worth it!” Pinkie agreed. “Ooh that was so fun!” She giggled a bit more as she got back up on her hooves. Princess Skystar nodded, pleased with herself. “Where should we go next?” Pinkie Pie thought for a moment before letting out a gasp. “We should go to Pony Joe’s! It’s a great place with coffee and donuts. And not fancy at all too!” Skystar grinned and said, “Sounds perfect. Let’s go!”
