In Ponyville, a blue stallion with a yellow-mane and water heart for a cutie mark along side him is a cloaked filly, only showing her face which is a blend of red and blue, and the tips of her purple-mane, walk to the center of town with a bucket of water.
"Hello every pony! I'm Eleter and this is my daughter Eleon! I'm here to put on a show for all of you!". A crowd starts forming around them, Twilight and Spike also join. Eleter starts the show while Eleon moves to watch the show from a distance occasionally helping. Eleter horn glows and the water in the bucket starts levitating circulating him. For his show he makes the water take on different shapes and changes it into ice, snow, and mist. He ends the show by making a rainbow.
At the end of the show every pony applause him. "You all been a great audience! If you liked the show please donate some bits to support us!" Eleon walks back to her dad after he gathers the bits.
Once the crowd left Twilight and Spike walked up to the show pony. "What a great performance."
"Yeah it was awesome!" Spike shouts
Eleter has a big grin, "Thanks and its a great honor to meet you princess Twilight."
Eleon in a surprise, "a dragon?"
"Yeah, I'm Spike you probably heard of me."
"yeah, but I didn't know you're a dragon. I didn't know any dragon lived with ponies."
"All except me, Twilight was even the one that hatched me."
Eleon ask, "What about before that?"
"I don't know? I think Princess Celestia was taking care of me."
Eleter gets an idea."Princess Twilight, Spike you might have noticed my daughter is very shy and she's about the same age as Spike."
Eleon gets a worried and confused look,"father what are you getting at?"
Eleter proudly states, "you and Spike should hang out."
Eleon starts nervously shacking "w-what!?"
"yeah were be here for at least a couple days and you should learn to make friends and who better than the brother of the princess of friendship." he points to Spike.
"The princess of friendship, but I guess your right."
"I think its a great idea." says Twilight
Spike gets excited, "yeah, I like to get to know you Eleon." She pulls her hood over her face. "it looks like we're dealing with Fluttershy levels of shy."
"well while you're in Ponyville you can stay at the castle, I'll enjoy the company." says Twilight.
"yay! We can stay in a castle!" Eleter joyfully hoping around.
deadpan "she is inviting strangers to her home?"
Twilight and Eleter head to the castle while Spike and Eleon walk around Ponyville. They enter the Sugarcube corner. Pinkie Pie is at the counter "Hi Spike. Ooh, who's your new friend?"
Spike says "This is Eleon her and her dad are visiting Ponyville."
Pinkie jumps ans says "ooh, you're the ponies that put on that show earlier."
Eleon gets confused, "you watched it, were you on break?"
"sadly no but I was able to quickly run back and forth to see the show while still helping the customers."
random customer chimes in, "it's true."
Eleon says "I don't think that's possible."
Spike puts his hand on Eleon shoulder, "yeah its best to not question these things when it comes to Pinkie."
Eleon gets noticeably annoyed, "I'm not doing that there is no way she could have seen the show while working she be to busy running back and forth. She has to be fast enough to run to the castle ask my father what my cutie mark is and then run back here in like 10 seconds for me to believe her."
"Ok." Pinkie runs off and in less than 10 seconds is back. "Hey, you don't have a cutie mark." Eleon is stunned.
Spike "Told you. Hey Pinkie can you get us a couple of cupcakes."
"Okie Dokie Loki."
They take a seat. Spike ask "so where are you from, Eleon?"
"Nowhere really I have always been on the road."
"Really why? What about your mom?"
"I'm adopted, my father found me and started taking care of me. He wants to found out what happened to my parents." Eleon has a sad expression.
"I can relate to wanting to know your real parents but you don't seem too."
Eleon takes a moment before responding, "I'm scared."
Spike nearly chokes on his cupcake, "What why? Are you worried that your real parents won't want you? I don't know your circumstances but I'm sure if they meet you they accept you for who you are."
"Exactly if they do accept me then I'll have to choose my real parent or the father who found and raised me!"
"I never thought about that."
"Can you please not bring this with my dad I rather not have him worry about it."
"Sure but you should talk to him about it eventually."
"let's talk about something else. Sorry for getting so serious."
"no it's alright I feel like we're getting know each other and I can tell you really love your dad. I don't know what I do without my family." Eleon pulls her hood down hiding her blush reacting to Spikes statement, "Why do you keep doing that? You seem to never make eye contact?"
"I don't like others looking at my face. please don't ask why." they finish their cupcakes Eleon looks towards Pinkie doing her usual Pinkie thing and mouths how.
A few hours later back at the castle meeting up with Twilight and Eleter and are having dinner. Twilight ask, "So how was your day?"
Eleon is neatly eating, "It was fun. Spike is very nice. We had cupcakes. There was also this strange pink pony."
"Sounds like you met Pinkie." says Twilight.
Eleter is eating massively, "She awesome I never met such a silly pony."
"She makes no sense! Like when we were in Sugarcube corner she ran to you ask you a question and came back in less than 10 seconds."
Eleter finishes up his food, "I remember that I and Twilight were at the castle entrance when she appeared to ask me about your cutie mark then ran off. That was weird."
Eleter eye is twitching, "but the distance."
Spike repeats himself from earlier, "It's Pinkie don't question it."
Eleon shouts "I not doing that! There's got to be a reason!"
Twilight droops her head onto the table, "Ugh, I know how you feel."
"Thank you." Eleon is happy theirs someone agreeing with her.
Eleter says "Wow, this is the most energetic I have ever seen her. She is usually very reserved".
Pinkie burst in with her party cannon and a bunch of ponies. "Who's ready to party!"
"eep." Eleon runs off.
Eleter turns to Pinkie, "She doesn't like crowds she only helps me because I'm the center of attention."
Pinkie face droops, "aww I wanted to get to know her better and make her smile."
"a party isn't the way to go with her. But me yeeeeee!" Eleter jumps from his seat and is ready to party.
The next day they're eating breakfast Eleon is neatly cutting her waffles, Eleter is stuffing his waffles in his face. Spike says, "so Eleon I was thinking of showing you around the friendship school."
Eleon gets excited, "ooh, a school."
"my daughter is a serious bookworm and since we are always on the road she never really been enrolled in a school."
at the school of friendship. Spike is walking along side Eleon. Spike is looking at the excited pony, "sometimes you remind me of Twilight."
Eleon looks at him quizzically "what do you mean?"
"Well, there's your love of learning, excitement about school, and your reaction to Pinkie's pinkieness."
"Sounds like were get along very well."
"Speaking of which I think there's a student you should, her name is Ocellus she's also shy and a bit of a bookworm. there she is. Ocellus!" Spike wave to his friend to come over.
Eleon pulls her hood over her face but gets perks up seeing the changeling, "a changeling. I always wanted to meet one since their reformation."
Ocellus walks over, "hi, Spike. Huh, who's this?"
"this is Eleon she and her dad are visiting Ponyville for a few days so I'm showing her around, actually I was thinking you the two of you could be friends."
Eleon pulls on her hood. Ocellus notices this, "Ok. Nice to meet you Eleon."
Eleon doesn't eye contact, "nice to meet you too."
As they tour around the school. "So you reading any good books?" Ocellus shows them a book "Currently i'm reading about pony history."
Eleon responds, "Well, I recently got a book about the study of the energy of subatomic particles." Spike and Ocellus stare at her blankly.
"I said this once and I'll say it again you remind me some much of twilight sometimes."
Ocellus says "So does your dad read such things too?"
"no he's currently reading a series called sailor moon he's been thinking of doing a parody called sailor Luna."
"like Princess Luna?" says Spike
"Yeah, he thinks it's a funny idea. There is plenty of comedy based fan fiction of the princesses."
"huh." says Spike.
Eleon a little calmer now, "So Ocellus what's it like at your home, I love to learn more about changelings."
As the conversation continues they run into Smolder. Eleon pulls on her hood and is shaking. Spike notice this, "Are you ok Eleon?"
Eleon still shacking, "Uh yeah."
Smolder walks towards them, "Hey, who's this?"
Spike answers "This is Eleon she visiting today. She very shy." Eleon is still hiding her face and shaking.
Smolder looks at Eleon, "Ok?"
Spike tries to calm Eleon, "Are you ok?"
"Yeah. I never met a dragon before." Eleon shacking slows down.
Spike gets confuse at the response, "You said never met changelings before."
Eleon says "it's complicated."
smolder has a smirk, "What scared of dragons?"
"No. It's complicated."
Smolder says, "Anyway, Show Twister is putting on one of his performances again."
Spike crosses his arms, "With his attitude you think he might be related to Trixie."
In the field, a blue Pegasus is putting a performance. "Thank you my lovely fans I the great and amazing Show Twister."
Spike annoyed, "Yep definitely Trixie 2.0."
Show Twister notices them, "Ah Spike, Smolder, Ocellus and a new face." Eleon pulls on her hood. "Are you here to see my performance?"
"No were just passing through." says Smolder.
"Well might as stay and watch." they're already leaving Show Twister behind.
Spike says, "Eleon's dad is a performer."
"Really. Do you perform with your dad?" Smolder ask. Show Twister is in the background ranting about them leaving.
"No, I just assist him." Eleon responds.
Show Twister flies in front of them. "Hey, where are you going!?"
Smolder gives a angry responds, "Were not interested in your show."
Show Twister ignores her and gets in Eleon's face, "You I heard you conversation, your dad is also a show pony."
Eleon starts shacking, "yes." she trying to cover her whole face.
Show Twister speech gets louder and angrier"I bet you think he's better than me."
Eleon is still shacking and covering her face, "I never even seen you before."
Show Twister is still in Eleon's face. "Well, I can assure you I'm better. What's even with that cloak?"
Spike yells at him,"Enough Show twister! Leave her alone."
"Fine." Show Twister leaves
Spike turns to Eleon, "You ok?"
Eleon slowly stop shaking, "Yeah. I dealt with ponies like him I usually try to ignore them."
Spike, Eleon, Ocellus, and Smolder have gathered around while Eleon is sketching Ocellus. after its finished Ocellus looks at it, "Wow that's really good."
"Thanks. I like sketching the different creatures I encounter well in this case meet." Eleon pulls out a notebook and opens it. "I also like to take notes."
"What kinds of creatures have you encountered?" asked Ocellus.
Eleon flips through her notebook, "Me and my father been around all of Equestria so we have seen all sorts." suddenly there a loud bang. While they were distracted Show Twister sneak on Eleon and tries to pull off her cloak.
Spike taking by surprise, "Show Twister what are you doing?!" Eleon hood starts ripping and a piece rip off. Show Twister falls back and sees Eleon face.
"What are you?! Freak!" Show Twister tries to fly away but is blocked by Smolder.
Spike is furious, "Smolder take Show Twister to principle Twilight."
Smolder replies, "Sure."
Eleon is trying to cover her face and is crying. Spike tries to reassure her, "Eleon its ok." Eleon runs away.
Ocellus looks to the running Pony, "I hope she is ok."
"Me too. I'm going to go and talk to her." Spike chases after Eleon after awhile of searching he finds her, "Eleon are you ok?" she remains quit. "Don't worry about what Show Twister said."
Eleon is still crying,"He's right I'm a freak."
Spike sits by her, "No your not. Why do you think that."
"I'm different. I'm not like other ponies."
"Yeah and I'm a dragon raised by ponies, my family are ponies, I even a have crush on a pony. Would you say I'm a freak?
"No! Of course not." she goes quiet for a moment. "I spent my entire life worried about not fitting in. I even had my father try to use a spell to change me."
"What do you mean change?"
"Maybe its time I follow he advises." Eleon takes off her cloak.
Spike is looking in disbelief, "What?"
"You're not the only dragon raised by a pony." Eleon has a pony body but has a dragon ear, dragon wings, eyes and even her tail starts as a dragon tail but becomes a ponytail.
Spike still a little stunned "Wow. So you got your dad to preform a transfiguration spell to turn you into a pony. I think we can fix this."
Eleon shows more Excited she ever has before, "you can?!"
"Yeah, I'm pretty sure Twilight has a spell that can do it." Spike gets up.
"My father tried but his magic isn't strong enough to reverse it." Eleon gets up and walks alongside Spike. Can you not tell the others I rather wait in till I'm back to my old self."
Spike says, "Sure but we should go see them first so they know you alright."
The two head towards there friends, after touring the school and attending a few classes they head back to Twilight's castle for dinner with. Twilight ask. "How was all your days?"
Eleter excited as usual says. "Mine was great! I met this show mare she was a riot."
"Show mare you mean Trixie?" says Twilight.
Eleter flaring his arms a lot, "Yeah, she got upset that there was another performer and challenge me. I didn't care but I thought it is fun."
Twilight says, "Didn't you find her annoying and a bit egotistical?"
Eleter waves his hoof, "Eh, I don't take her that seriously and just have fun with it. Anyway, she just got angrier and angrier, she even got angry because I didn't get upset when I lost. Haha."
Starlight says, "Yeah I had to talk to her about that."
Twilight asks, "So Eleon how was your day"
Eleon says, "Well it was interesting. Spike showed me around the school and I got to meet some of the students. I and Occelus get along pretty well."
Eleter raises his arms and yells "Yay new friend!"
Eleon twiddle her her hoof, "Um, Twilight there's something I want to talk about later."
"Sure about what?"
"I'll tell you later."
Eleter looks at his daughter confused, "Hmm, she usually not so direct." He starts waving his hoofs around again. "Yay, she becoming more confident! Thank you spike!"
Spike says, "No problem."
After dinner they relaxed for awhile. Eleter and Eleon are walking down hallway. "so you're going to tell her? Yay!" he gives Eleon a big hug.
"Yeah Spike said she might be able to turn me back to normal."
"Yay!" He gives his daughter another big hug.
Twilight walks by "Back to normal? Sorry, I was passing by when I overheard you. What where you talking about?"
Eleter puts his hoof behind his head, "Yeah its a long story."
they find a place to sit down and Twilight listens to there story, "So you stole a dragon egg from a pirate?"
"Yep. The things he said he was going to do with it, well let's say weren't pleasant. I didn't know what to do with it in till it hatched. then It was obvious I was going to take care of the baby dragon." Eleter hugs his daughter. "But I also believe I should find her parents. I'm sure they're worried about their child. The problem is I don't know where to look or how to get there."
"Have you tried the dragon lands that where most dragons come from?" Twilight ask.
Eleter has a grin, "Well, Eleon might be half sea dragon."
Twilight in a shock, "What?! Sea dragon? Half sea dragon?"
"I know right. Eleon read about them. It explains how she can breathe underwater and has a taste for fish." says Eleter.
Twilight is really excited,"Fascinating."
"I have been thinking her parents might be near an island. I have been trying to figure out where to look also to get money for a boat."
"If I can get the time I'll be more then happy to help."
"Thanks!" says Eleter.
Eleon rolls her eyes,"You want to research sea dragons."
Twilight puts her hoof behind her head, "Well, that too."
The next morning Eleon is back to her original form, she still wearing the cloak but has the hood down. Spike says, "are you sure the two of you can't stay longer?"
Eleter says, "Maybe but I don't want to overstay our welcome, theirs also the matter about bits my income gets smaller the longer I stay in one place plus I think finally I have an idea where Eleon parents are. I have been doing some research while I was here. We could stay a little longer?"
Eleon says, "I would like to go by the school before we leave."
Eleter says, "Sure."
At school. the school six, Spike, and Eleon are gathering around talking. Yona says, "So dragon tried to be a pony?"
"yeah, I was never really secure in myself. My father tried to help but I still couldn't help but worry but what others think of me." says Eleon.
Smolder says, "I want to understand why to turn into a pony we dragons are so much cooler."
Eleon rolls her eyes, "Well, it's hard for a dragon to fit in a country of ponies, especially before this school was built."
Smolder says, "True."
Silver Stream says, "I hope you find your parents."
Sandbar says, "Yeah I'm sure you can find them."
"Yeah I'm sure I will." Eleon looks away. Spike gives a sympathetic look.
Occelus say "I hope you send letters, I love to keep in touch."
Eleon says, "I will. I'll send letters to you to Spike."
Spike says, "I'll read every one."
They hang out at the school for a while. Eleon attends a few classes then visits the tree house with her new friends. Afterward, they head to the edge of Ponyville where Eleter and Twilight are waiting. Eleter excitedly waves at the coming creatures, "Hi, Eleon! Are these your new friends? Nice to meet you."
Gallus says, "I know your adopted but still this wasn't what I was expecting your dad to be like." Eleter has a big goofy grin on his face contrast to Eleon reserved expressions.
Eleon turns to face her new friends, "I guess this is goodbye."
"Yeah." says Spike.
"We can visit again someday. Now time to find Eleon parents." Eleter starts marching away.
"Thanks for everything. I can't wait to see you again." Eleon gives Spike a quick kiss on the cheek then runs towards her dad, leaving Spike in a blush.
The school six, "Ooooh."
