Kate was being supported by Dante as she held a piece of chalk to a chalkboard. 

Vergil was standing behind them in the centre of the room.

While Sunset was leaning against a wall.

“So the Phantom World Gate,” Kate winced in pain. “Is the main source of Wiseman’s power. It can only be reached from this chamber,” she pointed to part of her diagram. “Which is also his personal chamber,” she added. “You must break into the chamber and close the Phantom World Gate,” it was getting harder for Kate to speak. “That last outburst cost Wiseman a lot of magical power. He is still weak and this is your chance to defeat him.” 


A few hours later, outside Wiseman’s tower.


Vergil, now in his Nephilim Style, was walking up to the back of Wiseman’s tower as he remembers what Kate had told him. “Wiseman doesn’t know that Vergil is a Kamen Rider. We can use that to our advantage. There is a backdoor into the tower, located here.”


At the front of Wiseman’s tower


Dante, now in his Nephilim Style and Sunset, now as Kamen Rider Symbol Active Style, were walking up to the front door of Wiseman’s tower as they remembered what Kate had said: “Vergil, you must reach the security room undetected. So Dante, Sunset, the two of you will create a distraction, here.”

“I cannot believe that we are just walking up to the front door of the Phantom King’s tower!” shouted Symbol.

“If you have a better idea for a distraction, then now’s the time to tell it to me!” shouted Dante.

Symbol remained quiet.

Dante turned to the security camera on the bank’s front door. “Hey, guys! You looking for a fight?” he shouted. “Here we are!” with that, he picked up a rock and hurled it at the security camera, shattering its lense.

The world shifted, the clouds all sped up as the sky turned blood red. The sides of the bank cracked and spread out as a massive beam of red energy lanced out from the centre of the bank, roaring upwards into the sky. The road around Symbol and Dante cracked as buildings broke into fragments before being pulled into the beam. Fragments of the road were pulled up and transformed into floating islands, one of which the two Kamen Rider’s were standing on.

They both remembered Kate’s warning. “Once Wiseman sees you, all hell is going to break loose. Stay close to the tower entrance.”

The island that the two Kamen Rider’s were on started to break into pieces.

“We gotta move!” shouted Dante as he switched his Nephilim Ring for his Osiris Ring and punched it into his Driver’s left slot. [SET!] Dante turned his wrist back, then forwards, making his Driver’s gate close and then open again. [OPEN!] The Osiris magic circle appeared from Dante’s Driver and he ran through it. [O-S-I-R-I-S!] Emerging in the Osiris Style as he punched the Osiris Ring into his Driver’s left slot and turned his wrist forwards. [KICK STRIKE GO!] Dante kicked off the air behind him and the light blue wind shot him over to the next island, that was already starting to break apart.

Seeing a lock on point, Dante grabbed the Osiris Scythe off his backplate and turned its handle. [HOOK MODE!] Transforming it into the Angel Lift. Dante hooked the grapple hook onto the piece of rubble, pulling himself towards it. He turned and landed on it, boots first as he punched his left glove into his Driver’s left slot, turning his wrist forwards. [KICK STRIKE GO!] Dante was covered in the light blue wind, boosting off the fragment and landing on a piece of a wall. He kicked off that, boosting over to the side of the street. Then Dante boosted over another pair of islands before hooking the Angel Lift onto the side of a wall. Dante pulled himself over to the wall and kicked off it, boosting over to another piece of wall that was floating in the void. He kicked off that and flew through a boost ring, landing on another island.

It was already starting to collapse as a building on either side of it started to lean inwards. Dante kicked off it, hooking the Angel Lift onto a floating rock, pulling himself up to it and boosting through the air, before using the Angel Lift to pull himself up to the bank entrance.

Symbol landed next to him in her Active Boost Bind Style. She panted for a few seconds. “That was rough!” she admitted.

“Tell me about it,” replied Dante as black rocks rose up, blocking the bank’s entrance. 

They both remembered what Kate had told them. “The gates will seal, Dante, Sunset, you need to keep them busy while Vergil makes his way into the tower,” Kate had told them both.

Out of the ground rose three blue Blade Phantoms with smiling mouths and a large serrated saw blade instead of a right arm. This was an Elite Blade Phantom.

It was quickly joined by a second Elite Blade Phantom.

“Only two Phantom’s?” questioned Dante. “This should be easy!” he cheered.

“Don’t say that!” shouted Symbol.

Let the battle begin.

Dante switched the Osiris Ring for the Nephilim Ring and punched it into his Driver’s left slot. [SET!] Dante turned his wrist back, then forwards, making his Driver’s gate close and open. [OPEN!] The nephilim magic circle appeared from his Driver and Dante ran through it. [N-E-P-H-I-L-I-M!] He emerged in the Nephilim Style and punched his Nephilim Ring into the Rebellion Blade’s slot. [ONE!] The mouth opened to reveal a single light blue and blood red circle as Dante pulled the Rebellion Blade back. [NEPHILIM SABER STRIKE!] He slammed it down, only for the Elite Blade Phantom to block, kick him back and slash him across the chest plate twice with its blade. Sparks flew from both of the cuts.

“Argh!” shouted Dante as he staggered back in pain. “Ok, maybe this won’t be so easy!” he pressed down on the Rebellion Blade’s trigger. [NEPHILIM SABER STRIKE!] Dante jumped into the air as the Rebellion Blade was covered in blood red and light blue magical energy. “Helm Breaker!” Dante went shooting down and slammed the Rebellion Blade into the Elite Blade Phantom’s sword. It blocked and aimed to throw him off, only for Dante to jump back, making the Phantom stagger from the sudden lack of resistance.

He punched his Nephilim Ring into the Rebellion Blade’s slot. [FIVE!] The sword’s mouth opened, showing five blood red and light blue dots. [NEPHILIM SABER STRIKE!] Dante dashed forwards and stabbed the Elite Blade Phantom in the gut, making sparks come from the impact point.

The Elite Blade Phantom stumbled backwards before spinning with its blade as Dante charged, it caught Dante in the chest plate and made him stagger backwards as sparks flew from the cut. The Elite Blade Phantom kept up the pressure, slashing Dante another three times with its blade before Dante blocked a slash with the Rebellion Blade. “Your gonna pay for that!” he growled. Dante pressed his Nephilim Ring into the Rebellion Blade’s slot. [THREE!] The blood red and light blue circles in the sword’s mouth changed from five to three. [NEPHILIM SABER STRIKE!] Dante forced the Elite Blade Phantom’s sword back with an upwards swing. He slashed it across the chest once with a horizontal slash, then he performed a second horizontal slash from the other direction, both attacks made sparks come from the Elite Blade Phantom’s chest.

Only for the Elite Blade Phantom to recover faster than Dante thought it would and slash its sword up through the ground, hitting him up into the air. “That was my move!” shouted Dante as he pressed his Nephilim Ring into the Rebellion Blade’s slot. [ONE!] The light blue and blood red dots in the Rebellion Blade’s mouth were reduced to one. [NEPHILIM SABER STRIKE!] Dante came down with an overhead strike that the Elite Blade Phantom blocked with the flat of its blade.

“Big mistake,” were he in his human form, Dante would have smirked. He let go of the Rebellion Blade with one glove and punched his Nephilim Ring into his Driver’s left slot, turning his wrist forwards. [GO! KICK STRIKE!] Red and blue magical energy covered Dante’s right boot. “High Time!” he kicked upwards. His right boot slammed into the Elite Blade Phantom’s chin, sending the Phantom shooting upwards into the air.

Then Dante bombarded the Elite Blade Phantom while it was in the air with bullets from Ebony and Ivory. When the Phantom landed back on the ground he held down on their triggers, a ring of light blue and a ring of blood red magical energy were pulled into the two hand cannons. A ring of white energy was pulled into Ivory and a ring of black energy was pulled into Ebony. [EBONY AND IVORY STRIKE!] Dante let go of the triggers, firing a pair of bullets that spiralled around each other. One was white, the other was black. They both leaked energy of their respective colours that formed into a cone-shaped drill effect. “Ricoshot!” shouted Dante as the finisher slammed into the Elite Blade Phantom with a loud explosion. When the smoke cleared, the Phantom had fallen to its knees with sparks coming from its body before it faded away into black dust.

“Ha!” shouted Dante. “Not so Elite now are you?!” at that moment he ate his own words as he was slashed across the backplate by another Elite Blade Phantom that had jumped out of the ground. “Argh!” shouted Dante as he rolled across the ground. Just before falling over the edge he reached up and grabbed a lamp post, swinging himself back onto the bank’s island.

“There’s another one?!” he shouted in shock.

“You're surprised by this?!” shouted Symbol as she was forced back by another Elite Blade Phantom. “The Phantom’s have never fought alone unless they are high enough up in the hive-mind to be sentient!” 

“Good point,” Dante considered.

He switched his Nephilim Ring for the Arbiter Ring and punched it into his Driver’s left slot. [SET!] Dante turned his wrist back, then forwards, making his Driver’s door close and open again. [OPEN!] The arbiter magic circle appeared in front of Dante’s Driver and he ran through it. [A-R-B-I-T-E-R!] Transforming into the Arbiter Style. He drew the Arbiter Axe and punched the Arbiter Ring into its slot. [ONE!] The flame red dice appeared and spun until it stopped, displaying a single flame red dot. [AXE STRIKE!] Dante slashed down with the Arbiter Axe, firing a red energy construct of the axe’s head that the Elite Blade Phantom blocked with the flat of its sword. It was sent skidding backwards several feet as the construct ground sparks from the Elite Blade Phantom’s sword.

Seeing his opening, Dante punched the Arbiter Ring into the Arbiter Axe’s slot again. [TWO!] The dice spun around several times before stopping when it showed a pair of flame red dots. [AXE STRIKE!] Dante brought the Arbiter Axe around and slammed the weapon into the ground. Out of the impact, came a pair of red energy lines that threw the Elite Blade Phantom into the air when they made contact with it. 

Dante knew that the Phantom was helpless in the air. Or at least he strongly hoped that it was as he drew Ebony and punched the Arbiter Ring into the back of its hammer. [ARBITER!] Three rings of red magical energy were pulled into the black hand cannon as Dante took aim. [EBONY STRIKE!] He let go of the trigger, firing a beam of red magical energy. It slammed into the Elite Blade Phantom and sent it flying back down to the ground, smoking.

Then Dante jumped into the air as he pressed the Arbiter Ring into the Arbiter Axe’s slot. [FIVE!] The blood red dice appeared and spun around several times before stopping on five flame red dots. [AXE STRIKE!] Red magical energy covered the Arbiter Axe’s blade as Dante went shooting down and slammed the Arbiter Axe down on the Elite Blade Phantom, igniting an explosion.

Dante was sent flying out of the smoke as the Elite Blade Phantom struck him across the faceplate. He flew backwards, landing on his boots as he punched the Arbiter Ring into the Arbiter Axe’s slot. [TWO!] The dice spun around several times, stopping on a pair of flame red dots. [AXE STRIKE!] Dante pulled back the Arbiter Axe and slammed it into the ground, making a pair of energy lines ripple through it. The Elite Blade Phantom slashed its sword into the ground, sending out a line of fire that stopped one of the energy lines. But it was still thrown into the air by the second energy line.

Dante punched the Arbiter Ring into the Arbiter Axe’s slot again. [ONE!] The dice spun once more, stopping on a single flame red dot. [AXE STRIKE!] Red magical energy converged around the Arbiter Axe’s blade as Dante pressed down on its trigger. [AXE STRIKE!] Red magical energy surged up the Arbiter Axe’s shaft and into its blade as Dante swung it around. “Flush!” he roared as he fired a beam from the Arbiter Axe, the head of which formed into a spinning axe head construct. It slammed into the Elite Blade Phantom with a loud explosion, making the Phantom fall to the ground in a smoking heap.

Then Dante punched the Arbiter Ring into his Driver’s left slot and turned his wrist forwards. [GO! KICK STRIKE!] Red magical energy raged around Dante’s right boot as he spun around and kicked outwards. “Flush!” the magical energy formed into the construct of a spinning axe head that slammed into the Phantom and caused a massive explosion. When the smoke cleared the Elite Blade Phantom was nowhere to be seen.

Symbol had been fighting just as hard as her brother. She pressed her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever once as she jumped back from a slash. [MAGIC TOUCHIE GO!] Symbol scanned her right glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author as she kicked out. [BOOST MAGIC PLEASE!] From her right Boost Lock came an orange energy chain that the Elite Blade Phantom deflected with its saw blade. Only for the chain to circle around and wrap around it, pulling the Phantom into a kick from Symbol’s other Boost Lock that made sparks come from its head.

Symbol bent down and jumped into the air, the Boost Locks propelled her upwards as she hit her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever four times. [MAGICAL TOUCH GO! VERY NICE!] Symbol spun in the air as she scanned her left glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [ACTIVE! S RANK SPELL! THE BEST!] Symbol kicked down towards the Elite Blade Phantom with her right boot, which had red lightning raging around it. “Spike Chain!” shouted Symbol as a chain-shaped beam went shooting down towards the Elite Blade Phantom. The Phantom tried to block with the flat side of its sword, only to be overpowered and sent flying in an explosion.

Symbol landed back on the ground, just in time for the Elite Blade Phantom to get back up and fire a line of fire along the ground towards her.  “Oh no!” Symbol switched the Boost and Bind Rings for the Ice and Defend Rings before pressing down on her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever. [MAGIC TOUCHIE HENSHIN!] Symbol scanned her right glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [ICE DEFEND PLEASE!] She held her right glove out to the side and the two magic circles appeared before moving through her. Symbol hit her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever once as the fire line approached. [MAGIC TOUCHIE GO!] She scanned her right glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [ICE MAGIC PLEASE!] Symbol covered the Ice Shield in glowing ice blue magical energy as she stabbed it into the ground. Out of which burst a wall of ice that cracked when the fire line hit it.

Symbol switched the Active Ring for the Giga Ring and pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever. [MAGICAL TOUCH HENSHIN!] She scanned her left glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author and held her left glove down to the ground. [GIGA PLEASE!] The giga magic circle appeared under Symbol’s boots and rose up through her. [BREAK THROUGH!] Transforming Symbol into the Giga Style as she pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever once. [MAGICAL TOUCH SPELL!] Symbol scanned her left glove again and covered her right glove in green magical energy. [GIGA C RANK SPELL!] Symbol pulled back her fist and punched the wall, making it shatter into fragments that glowed with green energy, shooting forwards like meteors. They impacted the ground around the Elite Blade Phantom with enough force to ignite explosions that sent the Phantom flying forwards, landing at Symbol’s boots.

Symbol added the Punch and Drill Rings to her right glove, then she pressed down on her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever. [MAGIC TOUCHIE HENSHIN!] Symbol scanned her right glove over her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever. [PUNCH DRILL PLEASE!] The two magic circles appeared under her boots and rose up through her, transforming Symbol into the Giga Punch Drill Style. She pressed her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever once more. [MAGIC TOUCHIC GO!] Then Symbol scanned her right glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [PUNCH MAGIC PLEASE!] She pulled back her fist as it was covered in red flames and punched downwards, slamming her fist into the back of the Elite Blade Phantom, igniting an explosion.

While the Elite Blade Phantom was still down, Symbol drew the Giga Axe and pulled on its thumb, opening its Hand Author. [COME ON A SMASH SHAKE HANDS!] Then she scanned her left glove across it. [GIGA SMASH STRIKE!] Raging green magical energy covered the Giga Axe as Symbol brought it down on the Elite Blade Phantom. “Giga Strike!” the energized axe blade slammed into the Elite Blade Phantom and caused it to explode.

“Ha!” Symbol heard Dante shout. “Not so Elite now are you?!” 

“Oh please tell me that idiot didn’t just say that!” groaned Symbol. 

Another Elite Blade Phantom jumped out of the ground and Symbol was forced to block its sword by trapping it between the Punch Drillers. 

She was being forced back when she heard Dante shout. “There’s another one?!” in total shock.

“You're surprised by this?!” shouted Symbol as she was forced back by the Elite Blade Phantom. “The Phantom’s have never fought alone unless they are high enough up in the hive-mind to be sentient!”

She heard Dante consider her point before replying. “Good Point,” then Symbol was forced to pay attention to her own fight as her boots were kicked out from under her.

As she was falling over, Symbol switched the Giga Ring for the Swift Ring while pressing her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever. [MAGICAL TOUCH HENSHIN!] She landed on her back plate and scanned her left glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author.[SWIFT PLEASE!] he swift magic circle fell through Symbol. [DASH AWAY!] Transforming her into her Swift Style as she pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever twice. [MAGICAL TOUCH GO!] Then Symbol scanned her Swift Ring over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [SWIFT! B RANK SPELL!] Time slowed down as the Elite Blade Phantom brought its sword down on Symbol’s stomach, aiming to cleave her in half. Only for Symbol to vanish and sparks to fly from the Elite Blade Phantom as it was assaulted by a yellow blur.

Symbol skidded to a halt, revealing that she was holding the Swift Dagger as she pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever once. [MAGICAL TOUCH GO!] She swiped her left glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [SWIFT! C RANK SPELL!] Then Symbol held out her right glove and five orbs of yellow magical energy shot towards the Elite Blade Phantom, it blocked with its blade as the orbs exploded then came charging out of the smoke and slashed Symbol across her chest plate making sparks explode across the cut.

“Argh!” Symbol winced from the amount of damage she took, thanks to being hit by a third level Phantom in a light armoured form. She jumped back, then added the Wing and Blade Rings to her right glove before pressing her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever. [MAGIC TOUCHIE HENSHIN!] Symbol scanned her right glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author and held her right glove into the air. [WING BLADE PLEASE!] The two magic circles appeared before falling through Symbol as she blocked a fire line with the right three Cutter Wings. Symbol hit her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever twice. [MAGIC TOUCHIE GO!] Then she scanned her right glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author as she boosted to the side, avoiding another fire line. [BLADE MAGIC PLEASE!] Symbol fired six buzzsaws from the Cutter Wings that circled around behind the Elite Blade Phantom and dug into its back, making sparks fly as the Phantom dropped to its knees.

Symbol closed her Cutters Wings as she pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever four times. [MAGICAL TOUCH GO! VERY NICE!] Yellow magical energy shone between the Cutter Wings as Symbol scanned her left glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [SWIFT! S RANK SPELL! THE BEST!] Then she gave a strong flap. “Wing Cutter!” firing three crescent of yellow magical energy that soared through the air and slammed into the Blade Phantom, cutting three yellow lines through it that sparked before the Phantom went up in an Explosion.

Symbol shot a glare at Dante as he approached, although her facial expression was pretty hard to tell as her head was still in its helmet from. “Still think this is going to be easy?!” she demanded of her brother.

Dante winced.


Security room


Vergil ran up to a computer and started typing away.  He cracked his neck and after several seconds the words: “SECURITY OVERRIDE!” came up on the screen.


Bank Entrance


Both Symbol and Dante remember what Kate had told them. “Dante, Sunset, make a break for the entrance before it seals itself shut. You’ll both have a few seconds at best!”

Both Kamen Riders bolted.

Symbol used the Cutter Wings to boost along the ground and made it in with ease but Dante was falling behind. He switched the Arbiter Ring for the Osiris Ring then punched it into his Driver’s left slot. [SET!] Dante turned his wrist back, then forwards, making his Driver’s gate close and open again. [OPEN!] The osiris magic circle appeared and Dante ran through it. [O-S-I-R-I-S!] He emerged in his Osiris Style and with his increased speed he got through the doors, just as the rocks sealed it back up once again.

“Once inside, you’ll face Wiseman’s elite guards, take them out quickly,” Kate had instructed them.

A pair of Dreamrunner Phantom’s jumped out of the ground. They looked like the Drekavac Phantom only they were coloured blue and did not have black blood leaking from their mask’s eyes.

“Two of these things?!” shouted Dante.

“No, they're different than the Drekavac Phantom,” stated Symbol.

Now that Dante took a closer look he could see the difference. “Your right,” if he were in his human form he would have grinned. “They’re probably weaker too,” he stated.

“I wouldn’t underestimate them,” warned Symbol. “Kate wouldn’t have said they’re Wiseman’s elite guards without a reason.”

“Showtime!” shouted Dante as he ran forwards.

“He didn’t hear a word I said,” deadpanned Symbol as she pressed her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever twice. [MAGIC TOUCHIE GO!] Symbol scanned her right glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author as she flapped the Cutter Wings. [BLADE MAGIC PLEASE!] From which flew six buzzsaws. They soared through the air as the Dreamrunner Phantom that she had been targeting blocked all of them while it was running towards Symbol in a blur.

Symbol drew the Swift Dagger and pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever twice. [MAGICAL TOUCH GO!] As the Dreamrunner Phantom swung, she scanned her left glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [SWIFT! B RANK SPELL!] Suddenly, Symbol could see the DreamRunner as more than just a blur and blocked one of its swords with her Swift Dagger, while using the left three Cutter Wings to deflect the Dreamrunner’s other sword.

Symbol switched the Swift Dagger into the Swift Blaster and pulled on its thumb, opening its Hand Author. [COME ON A BLAST SHAKE HANDS!] She scanned her left glove across the Swift Blaster’s Hand Author. [SWIFT! BLASTER STRIKE!] Before firing a barrage of yellow magical energy bullets that forced the Dreamrunner to disengage so that it could block them with both of its swords.

The Dreamrunner then lashed out, slashing Symbol across the chest plate with one of its swords while keeping the Cutter Wings at bay with the other sword. “Argh!” shouted Symbol as she staggered back with sparks coming from her chest plate. Symbol quickly hit her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever once. [MAGIC TOUCHIE GO!] The Dreamrunner leapt into the air as Symbol scanned her right glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [WING MAGIC PLEASE!] She pulled back the six Cutter Wings and flapped them, sending a barrage of feathers at the Dreamrunner. It frantically tried to block with its blades, but there were just too many and sparks come from its body as it was hit several times over by the feathers.

“So widespread attacks work better on you?” muttered Symbol. The Dreamrunner glared at Symbol, at least she thought it did as the Swift B Rank Spell wore off. “Oh no!” it vanished in a blur and Symbol was kicked into the air. She felt something strike her across the chest plate five times, then across the backplate seven times. Three strikes were thrown at her legs and two at each of her arms before a punch to the faceplate sent Symbol slamming back into the ground.

“Argh!” shouted Symbol as sparks came from her armour, while she got back up, weakly and in pain. Suddenly, the Dreamrunner Phantom appeared and kicked her back onto her backplate.

“SUNSET!” shouted Dante as he tried to run over and help, but was forced to back off by the Dreamrunner Phantom that he was fighting.

The Dreamrunner Phantom had taken its attention away from Symbol for a second to watch its brother fighting Dante, that had been a mistake as it had let Symbol pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever twice. [MAGICAL TOUCH GO!] The Dreamrunner Phantom turned back towards Symbol and dashed at her, aiming to cleave through her with its swords before she could scan her left glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [SWIFT! B RANK SPELL!] Symbol’s visors glowed as she sped up, deflecting the attack with the Swift Blaster. She pistol whipped the Phantom across the face as she converted it into the Swift Dagger and slashed the Dreamrunner Phantom twice.

As the Dreamrunner Phantom staggered back, Symbol switched the Wing Ring for the Turbo Ring. She was about to change the Blade Ring, but the Dreamrunner recovered and charged at her. Symbol pressed her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever. [MAGIC TOUCHIE HENSHIN!] Then she scanned her right glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author and held up her right glove. [TURBO BLADE PLEASE!] The turbo magic circle appeared and fell through Symbol, forcing the Dreamrunner Phantom to take several steps back before it closed the distance again, slashing Symbol across the chest plate once more.

“I’m getting really sick of that!” shouted Symbol as she pressed her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever twice. [MAGIC TOUCHIE GO!] She took another slash across her right shoulder pauldron as she scanned her right glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [BLADE MAGIC PLEASE!] Symbol pulled back her left fist as the turbine on the left Turbo Shooter hummed to life. She slammed her glove into the floor, creating a shockwave of yellow magical energy that caused the Dreamrunner Phantom to stumble as it struggled to keep its balance.

“Sunset!” shouted Dante as he stumbled around. “I’m glad you’re ok, but a little warning would be nice!” 

“Sorry, Dante!” shouted Symbol, her attention was pulled back to the Dreamrunner Phantom as her Swift B Rank Spell wore off again. “Not again!” shouted Symbol as she knew what was coming.

As she thought, the Dreamrunner Phantom vanished in a blur and closed the distance in less than an eye blink. It smashed Symbol in the faceplate with the hilt of its sword. Then it zipped around behind her as she was thrown off her boots by the force of the blow and smashed her into the ground with a hammer blow. It picked Symbol up by the throat and brought back a sword, slashing her across the chest plate over a dozen times in less than a second, making micro explosions go off around Symbol’s body.

“Sorry, Dante,” chocked Symbol as she switched the Swift Ring for the Advance Ring. “But 	I have no choice,” she pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever. [TOUCH TO ADVANCE YOUR CLASS!] Then she scanned her left glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author just as the Dreamrunner Phantom pulled back to stab her. [ADVANCE PLEASE!] The advance magic circle appeared and moved back through Symbol, transforming her into the Advance Style as well as having the added bonus of throwing the Dreamrunner Phantom back.

“She had to use it,” whispered Dante as he watched his sister transforming, dodging around a downwards slash from the Dreamrunner Phantom he was fighting with only a slight amount of effort.

Symbol pressed her Wizard Driver's left Shift Lever twice. [TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL!] Then she scanned her left glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [ADVANCE B TIER SPELL!] Symbol darted forwards as the rectangle in the back of her left forearm guard leaked yellow magical energy. It covered her left elbow as Symbol rammed it into the Dreamrunner Phantom’s gut, sending it flying. She vanished in a yellow blur and appeared in the Dreamrunner Phantom’s flight path ready to hit it again.

Only for the Dreamrunner Phantom to be covered in a blast of blue magical energy and vanish in a blur. “Get back here! Argh!” shouted Symbol as a blast of pain tore through her skull. She covered her body in yellow magical energy and ran up the wall at super speed, she threw a punch at the Dreamrunner Phantom’s face, only for it to block with its swords by crossing them in an X shape.

“I’ve got to finish this quickly before I, Argh!” Symbol shouted in pain as her vision started to get spots in it. She pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever once. [TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL!] Then she scanned her left glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [ADVANCE C TIER SPELL!] Yellow magical energy slammed shot out of Symbol’s right fist and slammed into the Dreamrunner Phantom’s face, making sparks come from it as the Phantom was sent flying across the room.

“Argh!” at that moment Symbol went berserk. She had already used her Advance C and B Tier Spells, so she pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever three times. [TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL!] Then she scanned her left glove as the rectangles on her shins and forearms started to emit yellow magical energy. [ADVANCE A TIER SPELL!] She created a circle of yellow magical energy that she jumped off and used to shoot at the Dreamrunner Phantom, wrapping both of her gloves in yellow magical energy as she slammed her fists into its face, sending it shooting back down to the ground, Symbol kicked off another circle, sending herself shooting down towards the Phantom.

Symbol pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever four times as she was falling through the air. [TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL! VERY NICE!] She scanned her left glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author as the orbs and rectangles on her body started to emit yellow magical energy. [ADVANCE S TIER SPELL! THE BEST!] The Dreamrunner Phantom rolled to the side as Symbol’s fist smashed into the ground, only for it to be caught in the shockwave of yellow magical energy that was unleashed which caused it to explode.

Dante’s fight could not have been more different than Symbol’s.

The Dreamrunner Phantom closed in and ran past him, punching Dante from the left. It turned around and repeated the process from the right. The process went on twice more before Dante was able to punch the Osiris Ring into his Driver’s left slot and turn his wrist forwards. [KICK STRIKE GO!] He was covered in the light blue wind and shot off at high speeds. He dodged a slash from the Dreamrunner Phantom and kicked it back before punching the Osiris Ring into the Osiris Scythe’s slot. [SCYTHE STRIKE!] Dante spun the Osiris Scythe like a vertical propeller. “Prop!” he fired light blue energy off in a pair of vertical disks. “Shredder!” shouted Dante as the Dreamrunner Phantom crossed both of its swords in an X shape, but was still sent skidding backwards.

Knowing that it would only be a matter of time before the Kick Strike wore off, leaving Dante at the Dreamrunner’s mercy for several seconds. Unlike Symbol, he had no need to fear his Upgraded Form and use it as a last resort. ‘I’d rather use up some mana now and have to stick to my normal forms against some weaker Phantoms and get beat up now!’ With his decision made, Dante switched the Osiris Ring for the Trigger Ring in its Angel Mode. He punched the Angel Trigger Ring into his Driver’s left slot. [TRIGGER!] Dante turned his wrist back, then forwards, making his Driver’s door open and close. [GO ANGEL!] The angel trigger magic circle appeared from Dante’s Driver, knocking the Dreamrunner Phantom back as it passed through him. [AN-AN-AN-ANGEL!] Transforming Dante into his Angel Trigger Style.

The Dreamrunner Phantom charged at Dante, who stepped back avoiding the first slash, he jumped over the second slash and ducked down on all fours, making the third slash miss. Then Dante mule kicked the Dreamrunner Phantom in the face with both of his boots making sparks fly. 

Dante glanced over at Symbol and was met with the horrific sight of her being kicked onto her backplate by the Dreamrunner Phantom that she had been fighting.

“SUNSET!” shouted Dante as he tried to run over and help, but was forced to back off by the Dreamrunner Phantom that he was fighting. He snarled but knew that his sister was on her own for a few minutes.

Dante held out his right glove as the Rebellion Magnum Osiris Mode appeared and he grabbed it. He punched the Trigger Ring into the back of it. [ANGEL ONE!] The light blue one with wind blue outlines appeared next to the Rebellion Magnum’s skull. [MAGNUM STRIKE!] Dante held the Rebellion Magnum out to the side, drawing a confused look from the Dreamrunner Phantom before he fired. The light blue bullet curved in the air and the Dreamrunner Phantom was forced to use both of its swords to block the high powered shot. It lost its balance and fell over leaving it open.

Something that Dante did not hesitate to exploit. He punched the Trigger Ring into the back of the Rebellion Magnum. [ANGEL THREE!] The one shifted into a three as Dante took aim.  [MAGNUM STRIKE!] He pulled the trigger, firing a blue bullet that curved up through the air, striking the Dreamrunner Phantom in the chin with enough force for it to come off its feet before falling back to the ground, dazed from what felt like a world class uppercut.

Dante punched the Trigger Ring into the back of the Rebellion Magnum once more. [ANGEL FOUR!] The holographic three transformed into a holographic four. [MAGNUM STRIKE!] Dante took aim and fired a single high powered bullet. This was the only move of the Rebellion Magnum Osiris Mode that moved in a straight line. The Dreamrunner Phantom jumped to the side, letting the shot pass by it.

The Dreamrunner was about to charge and Dante was about to shoot it when the ground shook. This sudden and unexpected turn of events caused them both to lose balance and fell over on their backsides before getting back to their feet or boots.

Dante did not even have to take a guess at who was behind this.

“Sunset!” shouted Dante as he stumbled around. “I’m glad you’re ok, but a little warning would be nice!” 

“Sorry, Dante!” shouted Symbol.

Whatever else Symbol said was lost to Dante as the Dreamrunner Phantom was covered in a light blue glow and its speed shot up. It streaked towards Dante so fast that he was surprised it did not make race car noises. Dante was slashed across the chest plate over a dozen times in the next half second, before being slashed all over his body in the next half second.

Dante punched the Trigger Ring into his Driver’s left slot and was slashed five more times as he turned his left wrist forwards. [KICK STRIKE! GO!] Light blue magical energy covered Dante. [ANGEL!] He sped up and was now moving the same speed as the Dreamrunner Phantom with the light blue wind surrounding him. He punched the Phantom in the face, the light blue wind adding to the damage as Dante roundhoused the Phantom.

Suddenly, Dante felt and saw his sister transform into her upgraded form.

“She had to use it,” whispered Dante as he watched his sister transforming, dodging around a downwards slash from the Dreamrunner Phantom he was fighting with only a slight amount of effort.

“I’ve got to end this, now!” shouted Dante as he reached to the Rebellion Magnum’s grip. He slid the cylinder out, turned it and pressed it back in, transforming the Rebellion Magnum into its Aquila Mode. The Dreamrunner Phantom charged at Dante as he punched the Trigger Ring into the back of the Rebellion Magnum. [ANGEL FOUR!] A wind blue four with light blue outlines appeared. [MAGNUM STRIKE!] Dante took aim and fired six bullets that spiralled around him, creating six rings of light. The Dreamrunner Phantom ran into them and sparks flew from its body as it was sent flying backwards.

Dante took aim with the Rebellion Magnum and punched the Trigger Ring into the back of it. [ANGEL FIVE!] The blue four transformed into a blue five. [MAGNUM STRIKE!] Dante then held down on the Rebellion Magnum’s trigger. [MAGNUM STRIKE!] Ten rings of light blue magical energy were pulled into the Rebellion Magnum’s barrel. [ANGEL!] Dante braced and let go of the trigger. “Caliber!” shouted Dante as he fired a massive blue beam. The Dreamrunner Phantom saw it coming and crossed its swords. The beam washed over the Phantom and a powered explosion rippled through the area.

Dante gave a sigh of relief and glanced over to Symbol, just the outside of her visors turned grey with the inside staying yellow, signalling that she had gone berserk. “I should be able to finish this in one shot if I time it right,” muttered Dante as he changed the Trigger Ring into its Devil Mode and punched it into his Driver’s left slot. [TRIGGER!] Dante turned his wrist back, then forwards, making his Driver’s gate close and open. [DEVIL GO!] The devil trigger magic circle appeared from Dante’s Driver and moved back through him. [DE-DE-DE-DEVIL!] Transforming Dante into his Devil Trigger Style. He punched the Trigger Ring into the back of the Rebellion Magnum Arbiter Mode. [FIVE! DEVIL!] A flame red holographic five with earth red outlines appeared next to the Rebellion Magnum’s skull. [MAGNUM STRIKE!] Dante took aim into the air as he held down on the Rebellion Magnum’s trigger. [DEVIL!] Ten rings of red magical energy were pulled into the Rebellion Magnum. [MAGNUM STRIKE!] Dante fired a beam of red energy that stopped in the air and collected into a red sphere. “Drop!” shouted Dante as the orb turned into a massive burning red meteor that fell on Symbol.

Normally, Dante would have felt like that was a dick move, but he had no intention of fighting a berserk Symbol. The smoke cleared, revealing Symbol laying on the ground, back in the Swift Style.

[SET!] [OPEN!] [N-E-P-H-I-L-I-M!] Dante walked over to his sister and help her back to her boots. “Thanks,” thanked Symbol.

“Don’t mention it,” replied Dante simply.

They ran through a door as they remember what Kate had told them. “Vergil will knock out the internal camera system. Wiseman won’t be able to see where you are. The corporate offices are heavily defended. One exception is floor eighty-seven which is unoccupied. There the two of you will reunite with Vergil.”

They stepped into the elevator. “Somehow, I think this is a bad idea,” commented Dante.

Symbol gave him a questioning look.

“We are in what amounts to a cage, what if Wiseman causes it to drop?” explained Dante.

“Dante, we are about to fight the Phantom King in his castle! How is getting in an elevator anymore of a bad idea than that!?” shouted Symbol.

“Good point,” admitted Dante.

Thankfully, Wiseman apparently wanted them to reach him as the elevator did not drop. Upon reaching floor number eighty-seven the door opened, revealing Vergil, who was still in the human world.

“You good, brother, sister?” asked Vergil.

“Yeah, good,” replied Dante shortly.

“A bit sore from fighting those Elite Blade Phantoms and nearly being beaten to death by a Dreamrunner Phantom,” complained Symbol.

Vergil winced. “Ouch.”

They all remember Kate’s plan. “Here the three of you will split. Dante, Sunset, make your ways to the east wing. Vergil, you’ll make your way to the west wing where you’ll find the main server room.”

“Good luck,” Vergil wished his siblings.

“You too,” replied Dante.

“Thanks,” added Symbol.

Vergil faded away.

Dante and Symbol ran to the right as they remembered what Kate had explained to them. “Dante, Sunset, you will have to cross a sky bridge to make it into the East Wing. You will find the sky bridge along this path.” 

They ran through four to five rooms as Kate explained the rest of the plan in a flashback. “Vergil will take over the servers in the West Wing. He will clear the way for you,” was Kate’s short explanation.

The two siblings ran through another two rooms before their path was blocked by Phantoms that burst from the ground.

Let the battle begin.

“I’ll take care of the chainsaw maniacs! You take out the Blade Phantoms!” shouted Symbol.

“At least they are not Elite Blade Phantoms this time!” muttered Dante.

One of the Ravager Phantoms set itself on fire and charged at Symbol, who jumped over it, using the Phantom’s head like a springboard. While in the air, Symbol switched the Swift Ring for the Active Ring pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever. [MAGICAL TOUCH HENSHIN!] Symbol scanned her left glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [ACTIVE PLEASE!] She held her left glove out to the side and the active magic circle appeared, moving through her. [LET’S GO!] Transforming Symbol into the Active Style as she pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever once. [MAGICAL TOUCH GO!] Symbol covered her right glove in red lightning as she scanned her left glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [ACTIVE! C RANK SPELL!] She slammed her left palm into the back of the Ravager Phantom’s head, shooting a bolt of red lightning through it.

Dante jumped into the air, avoiding a slash from a Blade Phantom as he punched his Nephilim Ring into the Rebellion Blade’s slot. [ONE!] The Rebellion Blade’s mouth opened to reveal a single light blue and blood red circle. [NEPHILIM SABER STRIKE!] Dante went shooting down and slammed an overhead slash into the Blade Phantom that had just attacked him, making it stagger back with a glowing red and blue cut through it that was emitting sparks.

Suddenly, Dante punched his Nephilim Ring into the Rebellion Blade’s slot and spun around. [THREE!] The single light blue and blood red dot in the Rebellion Blade’s mouth turned into three as Dante used the sword to block a slash from a second Blade Phantom. [NEPHILIM SABER STRIKE!] Dante slashed the Blade Phantom once with an across slash, twice with a downwards slash and ended the combo with an upwards slash.

Symbol ducked under a slash from a second Ravager Phantom, then she scrambled back to avoid a slash from the first Ravager Phantom. She hit her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever four times. [MAGICAL TOUCH GO! VERY NICE!] Then she scanned her left glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [ACTIVE! S RANK SPELL! THE BEST!] Red lightning covered her right arm. “Active Strike!” shouted Symbol as she thrust her left palm forwards. Out of which came a beam of red lightning that tore through both of the Ravager Phantoms, making their bodies emit sparks.

But to Symbol’s shock, they did not explode.

“Of course, lower level Phantoms get stronger while they are around higher level Phantoms and Wiseman is the Phantoms king!” growled out Symbol.

Dante punched the Nephilim Ring into the Rebellion Blade’s slot again. [TWO!] Dante spun around as the sword’s mouth opened to show a pair of light blue and blood red circles. [NEPHILIM SABER STRIKE!] While he was spinning, Dante slashed at the three Blade Phantoms that had surrounded him with the Rebellion Blade making sparks come from their body as the sword bit into them.

He stopped spinning and pressed down on the Rebellion Blade’s trigger. [NEPHILIM SABER STRIKE!] Blood red and light blue magical energy surged up the Rebellion Blade as Dante gripped it in both gloves. “Death Coil!” roared Dante as he spun around, using the Rebellion Blade to form a circle of light blue and blood red magical energy around him. It surged outwards, cutting through all three of the Blade Phantoms, they sparked before falling to their knees and exploding.

Symbol grunted in pain as one of the Ravager Phantom slammed its chainsaw into her chest plate after setting itself on fire and charging. Symbol was sent flying back with sparks coming from her chest plate until she smashed into a wall and slid down. “Ow!” grumbled Symbol. “That hurt!” she pushed herself back up then slid the Boost and Aqua Rings into her right glove before pressing her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever. [MAGIC TOUCHIE HENSHIN!] Symbol scanned her right glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [BOOST AQUA PLEASE!] She held her right glove out to the side and the two magic circles appeared before moving through her, transforming Symbol into the Active Boost Aqua Style.

Then Symbol threw herself onto her backplate as the other Ravager Phantom’s chainsaw passed through where her neck had just been. While on her backplate, Symbol pressed her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever twice. [MAGIC TOUCHIE GO!] She started spinning while scanning her right glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [AQUA MAGIC PLEASE!] The Aqua Jets blasted out streams of water that slammed into the two Ravager Phantoms, putting out their fires and sending them flying.

Dante saw a Blade Phantom running at him and locked blades with it as he pressed his Nephilim Ring into the Rebellion Blade’s slot. [FIVE!] The sword’s mouth opened to reveal five blood red and light blue dots. [NEPHILIM SABER STRIKE!] Dante shoved the Blade Phantom back as he shot forwards, stabbing it in the chest and making sparks fly from the impact point as the Rebellion Blade bit into the Phantom’s body.

Dante pressed the Rebellion Blade’s trigger. [NEPHILIM SABER STRIKE!] Light blue and blood red magical energy surged up the length of the sword as Dante stabbed forwards once more. “Stinger!” He was followed by a streak of blood red and light blue magical energy as he stabbed the Rebellion Blade into the Blade Phantom’s chest making micro explosions go off around it.

Only, instead of exploding, the Blade Phantom ran forwards and slashed Dante again. “Argh!” Dante staggered back with sparks coming from his body. “That should have finished you!” 

The Blade Phantom remained silent.

“I don’t know why I expect to get an answer!” shouted Dante as he punched his Nephilim Ring into his Driver’s left slot and turned his wrist forwards. [GO! KICK STRIKE!] Blood red and light blue magical energy covered Dante’s right boot as he ran forwards and jumped into a flying kick. “Stinger!” his boot made contact with the Blade Phantom. Sparks flew from its body before it exploded.

Symbol pressed her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever once. [MAGIC TOUCHIE GO!] One of the Ravager Phantom’s lit itself on fire and charged at Symbol as she scanned her right glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [BOOST MAGIC PLEASE!] The Aqua Jets fired a blast of water that shot Symbol upwards, she slammed her knee into the Ravager Phantom’s face with enough force to flip it over.

Symbol landed back on the ground and twisted her body out of the way as the other Ravager Phantom went charging past. She pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever four times. [MAGICAL TOUCH GO! VERY NICE!] Water started to leak from the Aqua Jets as Symbol scanned her left glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [ACTIVE! S RANK SPELL! THE BEST!] The water gathered into an orb at Symbol’s chest height. “Hydro Storm!” shouted Symbol as she kicked the water ball and it was sent shooting forwards in a high-pressure stream that had a slight curve to it. The attack slammed into the Ravager Phantom and slammed it into the wall. When the attack ended, the Phantom got up with sparks coming from its body was it walked forwards.

“Oh come on!” shouted Symbol. “How is it that you are still alive after two S Rank Spells!?” then she heard the sound of a chainsaw behind her and turned around.

Just in time for the other Blade Phantom’s chainsaw to slam into her faceplate.

Dante had been backed into a corner by three Blade Phantoms.

Their mistake.

Dante punched his Nephilim Ring into the Rebellion Blade’s slot. [SIX!] The Blade Phantom’s charged as the sword’s mouth opened to reveal six light blue and blood red circles. [NEPHILIM SABER STRIKE!] Dante stabbed forwards, unleashing several thousand slashes in the space of the next second. Sparks exploded in a storm from the Blade Phantoms as they were repeatedly stabbed by the Rebellion Blade several thousand times.

Then Dante punched his Nephilim Ring into his Driver’s left slot. [GO! KICK STRIKE!] Blood red and light blue magical energy surged through Dante’s right boot as he unleashed several thousand kicks in the space of the next five seconds. “Trillion Kicks!” he spun around and dragged his right boot along the ground. Leaving a trail of light blue and blood red magical energy before the three Blade Phantoms exploded.

Suddenly, he heard his sister shout in pain. He spun around, just in time to see her get sent flying after being cut across the faceplate by one of the Ravager Phantoms. “SUNSET! Are you ok?!” shouted Dante.

“I’ve been better!” shouted Symbol as she got back up, the glowing red line on her faceplate closing as it healed over. Then she saw something. Symbol drew the Active Rifle and pulled on its thumb, opening its Hand Author. [COME ON A SHOOTING SHAKE HANDS!] Symbol scanned her left glove across the Active Rifle’s Hand Author. [ACTIVE! SHOOTING STRIKE!] Red lightning was channelled through the barrel. “Dante! Move!” shouted Symbol as she pulled the Active Rifle’s trigger. “Red Bolt!” a bolt of red lightning rocketed out of the Active Rifle.

“WOAH!” Dante dove to the side. The lightning bolt soared through where his helmet had just been and thundered into a Blade Phantom. Red lightning crackled over its body before it exploded. “I’ll say it again: Thanks for the help. BUT A LITTLE WARNING WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE!” bellowed Dante.

“Sorry!” shouted Symbol as she jumped over the Ravager Phantom that tried to saw her in half. “Time for a little protection,” Symbol switched the Aqua Ring for the Defend Ring.

“Not bad for your first sex joke!” shouted Dante as he locked blades with five Blade Phantoms and was forced back.

“What?!” squeaked Symbol as she realised what she had just said. “Dante! That isn’t what I meant! At all!” 

“I know, I’m just messing with you,” teased Dante.

As Sunset, Symbol would have pouted as she pressed her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever. [MAGIC TOUCHIE HENSHIN!] Symbol scanned her right glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [BOOST DEFEND PLEASE!] Symbol held her right glove out to the side and the defend magic circle appeared before moving through her, transforming her into the Active Boost Defend Style. Symbol then pressed her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever twice. [MAGIC TOUCHIE GO!] She scanned her right glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author as the Ice Shield was covered in a grey glow. [DEFEND MAGIC PLEASE!] Symbol pressed the tip of the Ice Shield into the ground and out of it burst a sphere of ice that stopped the Ravager Phantoms from reaching her.

Only for her to wince as the ice started to crack. “Maybe using ice against Phantoms that can set themselves on fire wasn’t such a good idea,” muttered Symbol.

Dante had enough of being forced back by the five Blade Phantoms that he had locked blades with and punched his Nephilim Ring into the Rebellion Blade’s slot. [ONE!] The mouth opened to reveal a single blood red and light blue dot. [NEPHILIM SABER STRIKE!] Dante grunted as he swung the Rebellion Blade up, breaking the lock and throwing the five Blade Phantoms into the air.

Dante used the Rebellion Blade’s momentum to pull himself into the air as he punched his Nephilim Ring into its slot again. [FOUR!] When the mouth opened there were four light blue and blood red dots. [NEPHILIM SABER STRIKE!] As he reached the level of the Blade Phantom’s Dante pressed the Rebellion Blade’s trigger. [NEPHILIM SABER STRIKE!] Light blue and blood red magical energy surged over the Rebellion Blade as Dante slashed three times. “Aerial Rave!” shouted Dante as a glowing light blue and blood red line was cut through three of the five Blade Phantoms, causing them to explode.

While still in the air, Dante punched his Nephilim Ring into the Rebellion Blade’s slot once more. [TWO!] When the mouth opened again, the number of light blue and blood red circles had halved. [NEPHILIM SABER STRIKE!] Dante pressed down on the Rebellion Blade’s trigger. [NEPHILIM SABER STRIKE!] He spun around several times, cutting glowing blood red and light blue cuts into the Blade Phantoms. “Roulette Spin!” he ended the combo on an upwards slash that threw the two Blade Phantoms further up, into the air where they exploded.

Meanwhile, the Ravager Phantoms were just about to break through Symbol’s shields. “Time for an old favourite!” she switched the Rings on her right glove for the Slasher and Aqua Rings. Then she pressed her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever. [MAGIC TOUCHIE HENSHIN!] Symbol scanned her right glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author.  [SLASHER AQUA PLEASE!] She held her right glove out to the side, making the two magic circles appear and move through her, knocking the Ravager Phantoms back as they did so. Symbol struck her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever once. [MAGIC TOUCHIE GO!] Symbol scanned her right glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author, covering the Tidal Slasher Claws in red lightning. [SLASHER MAGIC PLEASE!] Symbol ran forwards and engaged one of the Blade Phantoms in combat.

She slashed with one of her Slasher Tidal Claws, only for the Phantom to block it with the flat of its chainsaw, getting the other Slasher Tidal Claw to the face in the process. Symbol kicked the Ravager Phantom’s legs out from under it as she pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever four times. [MAGICAL TOUCH GO! VERY NICE!] Then she scanned the Active Ring over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author as the Slasher Tidal Claws were covered in red lightning. [ACTIVE! S RANK SPELL! THE BEST!] Symbol brought both of her claws up. “Slashing Burst!” she slammed them both down into the Ravager Phantom’s chest. Micro-explosions went off around it as sparks bleed from the cuts until the Ravager Phantom exploded.

Dante blocked a Blade Phantom’s sword with the flat of the Rebellion Blade as he punched his Nephilim Ring into its slot. [THREE!] The mouth opened to reveal a trio of blood red and light blue circles. [NEPHILIM SABER STRIKE!] Dante knocked the Blade Phantom’s sword to the side as he slashed the Phantom three times, once in the chest, once in the arms and once in the head.

The Blade Phantom stumbled back in pain as Dante pressed down on the Rebellion Blade’s trigger. [NEPHILIM SABER STRIKE!] Blood red and light blue magical energy ran up the Rebellion Blade as Dante slashed the Blade Phantom three more times, carving a light blue and blood red triangle into its chest. The Blade Phantom then fell over and was consumed by an explosion.

Suddenly, Dante jumped back as an Elite Blade Phantom jumped down and slammed its sword into the ground where he had just been standing. “Not one of you again!” shouted Dante as he pressed down on the Rebellion Blade’s trigger. [NEPHILIM SABER STRIKE!] Light blue and blood red magical energy surged up the Rebellion Blade as Dante flipped it into a reverse grip. “Drive!” he slashed with the Rebellion Blade once, firing a wave of blood red and light blue magical energy that crashed against the Elite Blade Phantom’s sword, sending it skidding back several paces.

Seeing that gave Dante an idea.

Symbol pressed her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever twice. [MAGIC TOUCHIE GO!] She scanned her right glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author as the Ravager Phantom set itself on fire. [AQUA MAGIC PLEASE!] “Big mistake!” Symbol threw the Slasher Tidal Claws forwards, firing three crescent of water that slammed into it, putting out the Ravager Phantom’s flames and making sparks explode from its body as it was weak against water.

Then Symbol pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever three times. [MAGICAL TOUCH GO!] She scanned her left glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author as her body was covered in red magical energy. [ACTIVE! A RANK SPELL!] The lightning was fired forwards in a red blast that slammed into the Ravager Phantom and sent it to its knees.

She pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever four times. [MAGICAL TOUCH GO! VERY NICE!] Then Symbol scanned her left glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author as her body was covered in red lightning. [ACTIVE! S RANK SPELL! THE BEST!] The lightning was pulled down into her left boots as Symbol leapt into a flying kick. “Lightning Strike!” the boot made contact and sent the Phantom flying back with red lightning crackling over its body.

Symbol transformed the Active Rifle into the Active Blade and pulled on its thumb, opening its Hand Author. [COME ON A SLASH SHAKE HANDS!] Symbol scanned her left glove over her Active Blade’s Hand Author, covering it in red lightning. [ACTIVE! SLASH STRIKE!] She blurred forwards and slashed at the Ravager Phantom, cutting a glowing red energy line through its waist and causing it to explode.

Dante put his idea into play and punched his Nephilim Ring into his Driver’s left slot before turning his wrist forwards. [GO! KICK STRIKE!] Blood Red and light blue magical energy surged around Dante’s right boot. “Over!” he kicked out twice, firing a pair of blood red and light blue energy crescents in an X. They slammed into the flat of the Elite Blade Phantom’s sword. “DRIVE!” bellowed Dante as he fired one last blood red and light blue energy crescent that slammed into the X. Detonating it and sending the Elite Blade Phantom out of the wind, into the endless drop where it exploded after falling for several seconds.

The two siblings regrouped at the front of the sky bridge as they remember Kate’s explanation. “Security going into the East Wing is tight and you’ll find yourself blocked, so don’t try to access it yet,” Kate had warned them.

“I wonder why?” muttered Symbol in a sarcastic tone as the viewed the net of lasers that were crisscrossing over the sky bridge.


Vergil


Vergil arrived in the west wing’s security room. He started typing into a laptop until with words “ACCESS GRANTED” were displayed across the screen in green. “Bingo,” muttered Vergil.


Dante and Symbol


The web of lasers across the sky bridge flickered and died.

Both Symbol and Dante remembered Kate’s instructions. “Once the bridge is clear you can make your way into the east wing. Be careful,” she had warned. “These floors are occupied. You will encounter resistance much stronger than before.”

The two of them ran across the sky bridge and through the door that was sealed up by rocks behind them. 

“Floor eight-seven,” stated Dante as if he were an elevator work boy.

It was horrifying.

The people in the human world were nothing but dark shades screaming in pain.

They both remembered Kate’s explanation, but it had not prepared them for this in any way.

“This is the financial wing. Those that work here, are barely human anymore. It makes those who are kidnapped off the street to become Phantom’s seem lucky as at least for them, it's over fast. For those in the financial wing they are corrupted beyond recognition, slowly and painfully,” Kate had explained in dread.

“I feel like throwing up,” muttered Symbol as she made retching sounds.

“Save it for after we’ve beaten Wiseman!” ordered Dante. Even though Symbol could tell he was hiding his own disgust behind a brave front.

“Your right, if we don’t stop him, then one day all of the males on earth will be slaves to Wiseman like these poor souls,” replied Symbol as a Dreamrunner Phantom dropped from the ceiling. “Have you recovered enough mana to use your Trigger Style?”

Dante poked at his mana levels. “I should have enough, but I’m not sure if I’ll be able to finish this thing before turning back.”

“I’ll cover you in Burst Style, with any luck we can finish it before you run out of power. If not,” Symbol trailed off as she glanced down at her left middle finger as the Advance Ring replaced the Active Ring for a split second.

“Let’s hope that it does not come to that,” muttered Dante as he switched his Nephilim Ring for his Trigger Ring in its Angel Mode, then he punched it into his Driver’s left slot. [TRIGGER!] Dante turned his wrist back, then forwards, making his Driver’s gate close and open again. [GO ANGEL!] The angel magic circle appeared from Dante’s Driver as he ran through it. [AN-AN-AN-ANGEL!] The Dreamrunner Phantom dashed towards Dante as he emerged in his Angel Trigger Style, it’s katana’s met with the barrel on the Rebellion Magnum Osiris Mode.

Symbol switched the Active Ring for the Burst Ring and pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever. [MAGICAL TOUCH HENSHIN!] Symbol scanned her left glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author then held her right glove out to the side the palm facing backwards. [BURST PLEASE!] The burst magic circle appeared and passed through Symbol. [CAST THE SPELL!] Transforming her into the Burst Style as she pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever once more. [MAGICAL TOUCH GO!] Then she scanned her left glove again. [BURST! C RANK SPELL!] Symbol held up her left glove and four sparks appeared in the air before igniting into four balls of fire that shot at the Dreamrunner Phantom. It blocked all four of the fireballs with ease but left itself open to Dante.

An opening, that Dante did not hesitate to take advantage of, he pulled the cylinder out of the Rebellion Magnum’s grip, turned it and slammed it back in, transforming the Rebellion Magnum into its Aquila Mode. He punched the Trigger Ring into the back of the Rebellion Magnum. [ANGEL TWO!] A wind blue one with light blue outlines appeared next to the Rebellion Magnum’s skull as Dante took aim. [MAGNUM STRIKE!] He pulled the trigger and fired. Four bullets of light blue light appeared from the Rebellion Magnum and circled around the Dreamrunner Phantom. Which realised its mistake and tried to block them but it was too slow. The bullets transformed into four rings of light blue light that snapped inwards and slammed the Dreamrunner Phantom’s arms to its sides. It was unable to do anything as the rings dragged it towards Dante.

Symbol ran to the side and drew the Burst Wand. She pulled on its thumb, opening its Hand Author. [COME ON A CAST SHAKE HANDS!] Then she scanned her left glove across the Burst Wand’s Hand Author. [BURST! CAST STRIKE!] Purple light was drawn in like shooting stars. The light collected into an orb of purple magical energy at the tip of the Burst Wand. “Burst Beam!” shouted Symbol as the orb collapsed into a beam of purple magical energy. It was nearly a full story thick and washed over the helpless Dreamrunner Phantom.

Suddenly, the binds broke and the Dreamrunner Phantom moved at speeds fast enough to make it look like it vanished. It zoomed around in a blur that Dante could hardly see as it moved around behind Symbol.

“Sunset! Look out!” seeing that she would be unable to turn around in time, Dante punched the Trigger Ring into his Driver’s left slot. [KICK STRIKE! GO!] Dante turned his wrist forwards and was covered in the light blue wind. [ANGEL!] He dashed forwards in a blur, getting behind Symbol and using the bayonet on the Rebellion Magnum to block the Dream Runner’s blade. 

The Phantom started to force Dante back as Symbol transformed the Burst Wand into the Burst Staff before pulling on its thumb, opening its Hand Author. [COME ON A SPELL SHAKE HANDS] Then Symbol scanned her left glove across the Burst Wand’s Hand Author. [BURST! SPELL STRIKE!] Shooting stars of purple magical energy collected in a sphere around the front of the Burst Staff. “Burst Spears!” shouted Symbol as the orb transformed into four spears that shot out and locked around the Dreamrunner Phantom’s limbs, stopping it from moving.

“Thanks, sis!” shouted Dante as he punched the Trigger Ring into the back of the Rebellion Magnum. [ANGEL FOUR!] The two doubled as it transformed into a four. [MAGNUM STRIKE!] Dante took aim and fired four bullets. They circled around the Dreamrunner Phantom and transformed into four rings of light blue magical energy that snapped closed around the Dreamrunner Phantom. Unlike the last set, they drew sparks from the Dreamrunner Phantom as the inside of them acted like buzzsaws while holding the Dreamrunner Phantom in place.

Before either sibling could do anything the Dreamrunner Phantom was covered in a light blue glow.

“Not this again!” shouted Dante, right before the binds shattered and he saw the Dreamrunner Phantom shooting towards Symbol. “No you don’t!” he punched the Trigger Ring into his Driver’s left slot and turned his wrist forwards. [KICK STRIKE! GO!] Dante was covered in the light blue wind and everything slowed down from his point of view. [ANGEL!] Dante dashed after the Dreamrunner Phantom, its sword was an inch away from Symbol’s neck when he shot it in the back, forcing it to spin around and use its katana’s to deflect Dante’s shots.

Symbol added the Dust and Radiation Rings to her right glove and pressed her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever. [MAGIC TOUCHIE HENSHIN!] Before she had a chance to scan her rings, Symbol was kicked back and sent flying by the Dreamrunner Phantom.

“SUNSET!” screamed Dante as he watched his sister get sent flying.

Symbol bounced along the ground twice and managed to scan her right glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [DUST RADIATION PLEASE!] The two magic circles appeared behind Symbol as she flew through them, transforming her into her Burst Dust Radiation Style. Symbol hit her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever once. [MAGIC TOUCHIE GO!] She landed on the ground and skidded backwards, aligning her right glove with her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [DUST MAGIC PLEASE!] Symbol fired a dust beam from her right glove that shot through the air, only for the Dreamrunner Phantom to jump out of the way.

The Dreamrunner Phantom ran towards Symbol as Dante punched the Trigger Ring into the back of the Rebellion Magnum after switching it back into Osiris Mode. [ANGEL SIX!] Dante took aim and fired as the holographic six appeared next to the Rebellion Magnum’s skull. [MAGNUM STRIKE!] Out of which shot a blue bullet that streaked around in front of the Dreamrunner Phantom, forcing it to slow down so that it avoided getting hit.

Symbol had a bit more time so she pressed her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever twice. [MAGIC TOUCHIE GO!] She scanned her right glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author as the Dreamrunner Phantom approached. [RADIATION MAGIC PLEASE!] Symbol cupped her gloves and fired a beam of green radiation that soared through the air. The Dreamrunner Phantom crossed its swords to block and quickly forced the beam back.

“No, you don’t! Finale!” shouted Symbol as she pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever four times. [MAGICAL TOUCH GO! VERY NICE!] Symbol scanned her left glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author and then punched the ground. [BURST! S RANK SPELL! THE BEST!] Out of the impact point came a wide beam of radiation that roared towards the Dreamrunner Phantom, only for it to jump over it and landed behind Symbol.

“Oh no!” shouted Symbol before being slashed across the back by the Dreamrunner Phantom’s charged blades. Sparks exploded from her backplate as micro explosions went off around her. Symbol fell to her knee guards and was consumed by an explosion. When the smoke cleared, she had transformed back into Sunset Shimmer Sparda.

“SUNSET!” shouted Dante as he punched the Trigger Ring into the slot at the back of the Rebellion Magnum. [ANGEL THREE!] The six transformed into a three as Dante took aim and pulled the trigger. [MAGNUM STRIKE!] Out of the Rebellion Magnum roared a bullet that curved into the air, forcing the Dreamrunner Phantom to block with its swords as the bullet rocketed towards its chin.

But this gave Dante the opening he needed to punch the Trigger Ring into his Driver’s left slot. [KICK STRIKE! GO!] Dante turned his wrist forwards as he jumped into the air. [ANGEL!] His right boot was covered in light blue magical energy as he went shooting down and slammed it into the Dreamrunner Phantom, which went shooting back, covered in the light blue wind before it exploded.

[SET!] [OPEN!] [O-S-I-R-I-S!] Dante ran over to Sunset and saw that she had an X shaped scar on her back now and picked her up, gently. Seeing that she was knocked out, he remembered what Kate had told them. 

“Hopefully, up there is somewhere that Sunset can rest,” muttered Dante as he turned the Osiris Scythe’s handle. [HOOK MODE!] The polearm transformed into the Angel Lift, which Dante used to get up to the next floor. Seeing an abandoned office, he put Sunset down and leaned her against a chair. “You’ll be safe here,” he commented to his sister as he left.

Dante walked away. He did not want to leave her but knew that if he took her until she awoke, then it would be signing their death warrants. ‘If I make enough noise and do enough damage then the Phantom’s should forget about her and come after me,’ thought Dante with great conviction.

Suddenly, a pair of normal Rage Phantoms jumped out of the ground.

“This should be a bit easier!” Dante punched the Osiris Ring into the slot of the Osiris Scythe. [ONE!] The light blue dice appeared and spun around until it stopped on a wind blue one. [SCYTHE STRIKE!] Dante spun around, slashing both of the Rage Phantoms with the Osiris Scythe as they lunged at him, unable to get out of the polearms range in time. Sparks flew from their bodies as they roared in rage.

Then they lunged at Dante, passing him in a pair of white blurs as sparks came from his body. ‘I’ve got to keep them separate!’ thought Dante as he jumped into the air and pressed the Osiris Ring into the Osiris Scythe’s slot. [THREE!] The dice spun around several times, stopping on a trio of light blue dots. [SCYTHE STRIKE!] Dante used the Osiris Scythe as a hook to pull one of the Rage Phantoms into the air. 

Then Dante punched the Osiris Ring into the Osiris Scythe’s slot again. [ONE!] The dice spun again, stopping on a one, once more. [SCYTHE STRIKE!] Dante spun in the air, slashing the Rage Phantom with the Osiris Scythe several times before stopping as they both fell back to the ground.

All of a sudden, sparks flew from Dante’s body as the other Rage Phantom fired its quills at him. Dante replied by punched the Osiris Ring into the Osiris Scythe’s slot again. [SIX!] The dice appeared and spun around several times before stopping when it showed six light blue dots. [SCYTHE STRIKE!] Dante lunged forwards in a streak of light blue light, smashing the Osiris Scythe’s blade into the Rage Phantom, driving it back against and wall and starting to choke it with the scythe blade.

Before he could crush the Phantom’s throat, Dante was forced to jump back as the other Rage Phantom rolled itself into a ball and did a spin dash. The other Rage Phantom kicked it back towards Dante. “Argh!” the Rage Phantom smashed into Dante’s chest plate and made him stumble back as the other Rage Phantom jumped in the air and kicked its fellow Phantom down towards Dante.

“No you don’t!” he switched the Osiris Ring for the Arbiter Ring and punched it into his Driver’s left slot. [SET!] Dante turned his wrist back, then forwards, making his Driver’s gate close and open. [OPEN!] The arbiter magic circle appeared from Dante’s driver and he ran through it. [A-R-B-I-T-E-R!] Transforming into his Arbiter Style. Dante punched the Arbiter Ring into the Arbiter Axe’s slot. [SIX!] Red magical energy covered the blade of the Arbiter Axe as Dante brought it back. [AXE STRIKE!] “Batter Up!” shouted Dante as he swung the Arbiter Axe into the Rage Phantom, charging it with red magical energy and sending it flying back at the other Rage Phantom, the two of them smashed into each other in a loud explosion. When the smoke faded, they had vanished. “Hih, I thought that it would have been harder than that,” muttered Dante.

Dante ran into an elevator that would take him further up the build. “What did she say? Floor one hundred and five? The Skybridge? Yeah!” Dante pressed the button.

Had Symbol been there, she would have told Dante that what Kate said was: “You want floor one hundred and six. Whatever you do, don’t get off at floor one hundred and five. It’s heavily defended.”

Dante remembered Kate saying that just as the door closed. “Right, no turning back now,” he muttered after a few seconds of trying to get the elevator door to open again.

The barriers came up and five Blade Phantoms burst out of the ground. “Thankfully, I can use the environment to my advantage,” muttered Dante as he pressed the Arbiter Ring into the Arbiter Axe’s slot. [SIX!] The flame red dice appeared and spun around several times before stopping on six blood red dots. [AXE STRIKE!] Dante pressed down on the Arbiter Axe’s trigger as the Blade Phantom’s approached. [AXE STRIKE!] Red magical energy surged up the Arbiter Axe’s shaft and into its blade as Dante punched the Arbiter Ring into his Driver’s left slot, turning his wrist forwards. [GO! KICK STRIKE!] The blood red and flame red magical energy was pulled into Dante’s right boot as he lifted it up and stomped on the ground. “Mega Energy Wave!” shouted Dante as a wave of red magical energy surged out from where his boot made contact with the ground. It slammed into the Blade Phantoms and sent them flying out of the window.

Then a Wizard Phantom appeared, looking around confused. It had plainly come to help out the Blade Phantoms, but Dante had taken them out far to fast. All of a sudden, two Rage Phantoms burst from the ground.

“I don’t have time for this!” shouted Dante as he switched the Arbiter Ring for the Trigger Ring in its Angel Mode before punching it into his Driver’s left slot. [TRIGGER!] Dante turned his wrist back, then forwards, making his Driver’s door close and open. [GO ANGEL!] The angel trigger magic circle appeared from Dante’s Driver and moved back through him. [AN-AN-AN-ANGEL!] Transforming Dante into the Angel Trigger Style. He grabbed the Rebellion Magnum as it appeared in its Aquila Mode before punching the Trigger Ring into the back of it. [ANGEL FOUR!] The holographic light blue one with wind blue outlines appeared next to the Rebellion Magnum’s skull. [MAGNUM STRIKE!] Dante took aim and fired six shots. Three pairs of light blue bullets shot out of the Rebellion Magnum and circled around the Phantom’s transforming into circles of light blue energy. The inside of which acted as buzzsaws, restraining the Rage Phantom’s while cutting down the Wizard Phantom’s shield.

Then Dante held down on the Rebellion Magnum’s trigger. [MAGNUM STRIKE!] Ten rings of light blue magical energy were pulled into the Rebellion Magnum before Dante took aim and fired. [ANGEL!] Three beams of light blue magical energy shot out of the Rebellion Magnum and into the rings, making them surge in power. “Round Trip!” shouted Dante as the rings sheared through the Phantoms and made them explode.

[SET!] [OPEN!] [A-Q-U-I-L-A!] Dante transformed back into his Aquila Style, panting heavily. “I can’t do too many more of those,” he muttered to himself. He pressed the button on the Aquila Stars and slammed them together. [HOOK MODE!] They combined and transformed into the Angel Lift that Dante used to get up to the next floor. The floor which he should have gotten off at in the first place!

Dante ran through several rooms only to be met by an Elite Blade Phantom that charged at him, recklessly. Dante stepped to the side and kicked it in the back, letting it fall through the window and into the endless drop where it exploded. “Looks like Kate was right,” muttered Dante.

“The further up you get, the stronger the Phantoms will get as you get closer to Wiseman. But this is something we can use to our advantage. The Phantoms will start to behave more recklessly as they get drunk on Wiseman’s power,” Kate had explained to Dante.

At the bottom of the tower, the Elite Blade Phantoms had acted like professional soldiers, now they acted like rookie soldiers with something to prove.

Dante then went through some sort of wind tunnel that carried him around a corner. Before arriving at another tunnel that was blocked by lasers.

“Come on, Vergil,” muttered Dante.


Vergil


“Hang on, Dante. Where’s Sunset?” muttered Vergil from the security room as he hacked into the system while remembering Kate’s warning.

“Vergil, be careful that you don’t trigger the tampering mechanism.”

The screen displayed ACCESS GRANTED.

“Bingo,” muttered Vergil.


Dante


The lasers in the tunnel blinked and then went offline.

“Bingo,” muttered Dante as he continued forwards.


Vergil


Alarms went off in the security room. “Not bingo,” muttered Vergil as he started typing away.


Dante


Dante skidded to a halt as the lasers came back on. “Aw, that’s bullshit!” shouted Dante in anger.


Vergil


Vergil started hacking only to hear a loud crash behind him. He turned around and remembered Kate’s warning.

“Vergil, you must not let yourself get dragged into the Slip Dimension. Or you will lose your ability to hack into the servers. If you are detected, then it’s all over,” Kate had warned him.

Vergil drew the Yamato Katana and charged.


Dante


“I can make it,” muttered Dante as he looked at the tunnel, full of lasers.

Suddenly, half of the lasers shut off.

“Now I know I can make it!” Dante made it across the sky bridge and remembered that Kate had told him, Vergil would meet him by the main elevator.

“Over here!” shouted Vergil as the door opened. “Where’s Sunset?” Vergil asked.

“She got knocked out,” explained Dante.

“So you left her?!” demanded Vergil.

“Yes and once this is all over, I will let Sunset beat me up as much as she wants to!” snapped back Dante.

After a moment of riding the elevator in silence, Vergil handed Dante a taser. “Here, Dante, take this,” he ordered.

Dante gave his brother a questioning look. 

“I took it off security,” explained Vergil. “It might look like a taser in the real world. But in the Slip Dimension, it’s a powerful Phantom weapon.”

“Thanks,” Dante took the weapon and was shocked that he could grab it from the Slip Dimension. It shifted into a pistol like weapon with a wide drum on the end of its barrel. This is Kablooey.

“Vergil, you will make your way towards Wiseman’s chamber in the real world,” Kate had explained. “Dante, Sunset, there’s no way through from the Slip Dimension, so you will have to go via the west wing.”

Dante went through a door on the left and a Death Knight Phantom pulled itself out of the floor. He drew Kablooey and fired a shot into the ground at the Phantom’s feet. 

It gave him a look that said: “You missed.”

“Not quite,” Dante pressed the second trigger on Kablooey. [BOOM!] The spike exploded and sent the Phantom flying out of a window.

Dante got to the sky bridge and went across it, right before it shattered into a million pieces. “That was close,” muttered Dante as he got into the elevator.

When he came out, what looked like a giant heart was in front of Dante. He remembered what Kate had told him. “You should see that main core at this point, Dante. You have to break in somehow.”

“That doesn’t help much Kate,” muttered Dante.

Before he could do anything, the Drekavac Phantom arrived.

“Not you again!” shouted Dante as he slid the Angel Trigger Ring, in its Angel Mode, onto his left middle finger. Dante punched the Trigger Ring into his Driver’s left slot. [ERROR!] shouted Dante’s Driver. “FUCK!” shouted Dante.

The Drekavac Phantom jumped into a portal and came out of another portal behind Dante. It covered its katana’s in red magical energy and slashed at Dante’s backplate making sparks explode from it. “ARGH!” shouted Dante as he dropped to one knee. ‘Ok Dante, think! My mana levels are high enough that I should be able to use the Angel Trigger Style. But Kate did warn me about over using one of my Upgraded Forms over the other! That must be what happened! My body is trying to protect itself!’ Dante switched the Trigger Ring into its Devil Mode. He punched it into his Driver’s left slot. [TRIGGER!] Dante turned his wrist back, then forwards, making his Driver’s gate close and open. [DEVIL GO!] The devil trigger magic circle appeared from Dante’s Driver and moved back through him. [DE-DE-DE-DEVIL!] Transforming Dante into his Devil Trigger Style.

Although this style was not ideal for fighting this Phantom, Dante felt that he had a better chance now than he did before. Dante grabbed the Rebellion Magnum in its Arbiter Mode as it appeared and punched the Trigger Ring into the back of it. [ONE! DEVIL!] A red holographic one with flame red outlines appeared next to the Rebellion Magnum’s skull. [MAGNUM STRIKE!] Dante took aim and fired three blasts of red magical energy at the Drekavac Phantom which blocked them with its swords.

The Drekavac Phantom charged at Dante as he pressed the Devil Trigger Ring into the back of the Rebellion Magnum. [SIX! DEVIL!] The red holographic once transformed into a red holographic six. [MAGNUM STRIKE!] The Phantom jumped into another portal and came out of a different portal.

Right in time to receive a cannon blast to the face, sending it flying backwards with sparks coming from its body. “Yeah!” the Drekavac Phantom skidded to a halt, digging both of its katana’s into the ground. “How do you like that you, ugly, sack, of, shit,” Dante trailed off as the Drekavac Phantom was covered in a glow of burning red magical energy, just like the Dreamrunner Phantoms.

“I really need to learn to keep my mouth shut!” whimpered Dante.

The Drekavac Phantom took off and all Dante felt was pain as he was slashed across the chest plate, then in the shoulder pauldron, before being kicked in the face and sent flying across the ledge. He was then kneed in the back. [SET!] [OPEN!] [A-R-B-I-T-E-R!] Dante felt himself take to much damage and transform back into the Arbiter Style. He was just able to grab onto the edge of the ledge as he was sent flying off it.

“This is bad,” winced Dante as the Drekavac Phantom stood over him and drew back its katanas.

Suddenly, a familiar grey and yellow blur slammed into the Phantom from the side, sending it flying backwards before it flipped in the air and turned into a red blur. Dante pulled himself back up onto the ledge as the two blurs crashed. For a second he heard something as the Drekavac Phantom was sent flying backwards and consumed by an explosion. 

The grey and yellow blue stopped, revealing it to be Symbol in her Advance Style. [MAGICAL TOUCH HENSHIN!] [ACTIVE PLEASE!] [LET’S GO!] “I can’t believe you left me!” shouted Symbol.

Dante winced. “It was for your own good!” he retorted.

“Which is the only reason I have not kicked you over the edge! Now come on!” shouted Symbol.

The ledge started to break apart, only for Symbol to flare her magical energy, stopping it. She and Dante ran towards the chamber. Symbol added the Boost and Defend Rings to her right glove as she pressed her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [MAGIC TOUCHIE HENSHIN!] Symbol scanned her right glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [BOOST DEFEND PLEASE!] The two magic circles appeared and passed over her, Symbol jumped into the chamber.

Dante was right behind her.
