//------------------------------// // Chapter 2-A Big, Blue Friendly Songbook // Story: Skyla's Amazing Dream Express // by Psalty123 //------------------------------// As the train was getting ready to land on the ground, Emerson and Skyla could see a town up ahead. "Look Emerson, a town!" Skyla called out, pointing to the place with her hoof. Emerson smiled at the little alicorn and said, "That's right, Skyla. This is where you get off." The locomotive began to land and was getting closer to the town. "Last stop, Happyville!!" the engineer called out as the train came to a complete stop. Skyla got off the train and she thanked Emerson for the ride. "Thank you, Emerson!" Skyla called out. "Now I'm going to discover where that music is coming from." Then the pink filly waved goodbye to the friendly engineer. "You're welcome, Skyla!" Emerson called out. "I'll be back to pick you up when it's time for you to wake up!" Then the steam locomotive began to fly back up into the sky and the engineer waved back to the filly. As the train disappeared into the clouds, Skyla looked towards the town and saw a sign entrance. It said in big bright letters, "Welcome To Happyville!" She thought the town looked nice. Just then, Skyla heard the music again and it sounded even happier. "That's the music me was hearing." she thought as she entered the town. When Skyla enters Happyville, she can see the people with smiling faces. The houses are smiling too. Even the warm, friendly Sun was also happy while shining on the happy flowers. "So that's why it's called Happyville," Skyla said to herself. Then, she saw something that she had never seen before! It was a big, blue book with arms and legs and it looks like he was wearing blue converse shoes and a pair of 1930s gloves. On the cover, It has shiny gold letters on it that read "Songbook" in a musical style. On the binding, he has a friendly look on his face and he has a yellow musical note and black capital letters which said, "PSALTY". On the back cover, he has a golden treble clef. "So that's where the music is coming from," Skyla thought. "It's coming from that blue book!" The filly went to the garden gate and knocked on it. "Hello, Mr. Songbook!" Skyla called to the book. "Are you the one who's singing?" The blue songbook heard the filly's voice and he walked over to the gate and opened it. When he looked down, the songbook could see the little filly waving at him. "Hi there, little pony!" said the songbook. "Come on in." The little princess went through the gate as the book closed the gate after Skyla went into the front yard. "And yes, I was the one who sang." "My name is Skyla," Skyla introduced herself. "Who are you?" "I'm Psalty the Singing Songbook." said the book. "As you can see, I'm a kids' songbook and I need kids to sing my songs." Skyla was amazed! "That's so cool!" she said with excitement. "I'm the princess of the Crystal Empire and the little sister of Napphan." "Nathan?" Psalty asked. "Oh yeah, I know your brother very well." "You know him?" asked Skyla with astonishment. Psalty looked at the filly and said, "Oh yes, I've known him since he came to California for a vacation when was three years old with the other orphans." "Wow!" Skyla gasped "Napphan sure must have admired you a lot." "Yes, he sure has." Psalty chuckled. "I bet you loved your big brother your whole life." The little alicorn princess smiled and said, "Yes, me love Napphan a lot!" "As a matter of fact," Psalty explained. "I have a song in my pages about brothers and sisters." "You do?" Skyla asked. "Sure," continued Psalty. "We can sing together!" "Sing?" The little pink filly was surprised! "We're going to sing?!" "Of course!" laughed Psalty. "Come on, let's do it!" Brothers and sisters by the mercies of God Present yourselves a living sacrifice Holy and acceptable to Him Which is your reasonable service of worship Brothers and sisters bring everything Everything you do Everything you say Every breath you take Each and everyday Skyla laughed on the green grass, rolling around and she was having so much fun! "That was so much fun, Psalty!" she laughed. "Thank you!" Psalty giggled, "You're welcome, Skyla. By the way, why don't you come on in to the house to see my family?" Skyla was even more surprised! "You have a family?!" "Yes, I do!" Psalty replied. "Come on Skyla! You're going to love my family!" "I'm right behind you!" Skyla shouted and followed the friendly blue songbook into the smiling house.
