The offer had been made, Kate’s life force clone in exchange for the life of Lilith and Wiseman’s Spawn.
It was a cold day by the docks, Vergil’s car was parked at one end with a SWAT van at the other. Vergil was at the steering wheel with Dante and Lilith in the back. Both were in their Kamen Rider Nephilim Styles.
Sunset had already transformed into Kamen Rider Symbol Swift Wing Sniper Style and was perched on a crane behind Vergil’s car.
Vergil blinked his lights once, signalling the start of the trade.
The SWAT members piled out of their van while Symbol and Vergil got out of the sports car.
Vergil pressed his Wizard Driver’s left Shift lever twice then scanned his Nephilim Ring over his Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [YES! KICK STRIKE!] Five swords of blood red and light blue energy appeared on either side of Vergil. [UNDERSTAND!?] They all pointed at the SWAT members.
One of the SWAT members dragged Kate’s life force clone into view and what Symbol saw made her want to shoot all of the SWAT troopers dead. Kate’s life force clone had a bullet wound in her shoulder and had clearly been badly beaten from how she was whimpering in pain. Whatever the life force clone felt, the real Kate would also feel, which explained some things. Like why Kate had been clutching her shoulder when Symbol had healed the bullet wound several hours ago.
Dante pulled Lilith out of the car, then he drew Ebony and Ivory, pointing both of his hand cannons at the SWAT troopers.
Kate’s life force clone clutched her arm as she struggled to her feet.
Dante looked at Lilith. “Move,” he ordered simply.
Lilith and Kate’s life force clone started towards each other, slowly.
Little did either of the two parties know that a third party was watching them.
The atmosphere got tenser and tenses.
The third party pulled out a bow.
The two girls reached the halfway point and pressed paths.
An arrow appeared in the bow and was pulled back.
The two girls started towards the other side of the docks.
The arrow was released. It shot through the air at speeds much faster than physics should allow and Lilith jerked. She looked down in horror at the arrow that had pierced her stomach. “No! Oh no!” she screamed in fear, right before a second arrow hit her between the eyes.
“What the fuck-?!” shouted Dante to Vergil, right before hell broke loose.
With no hostage, the SWAT troops opened fire on the brothers and Kate’s life force clone.
Dante dashed forwards at speeds that made him a blur to the human eye, he grabbed Kate’s life force clone and was back in the car with her, less than two seconds later. “What did you do that for?!” he shouted at his brother.
“It wasn’t me!” shouted Vergil.
“What?!” demanded Dante.
“Did those swords look like arrows to you?!” demanded Vergil.
Dante turned to his sister as she landed on the ground. “Sunset?!”
“It came from the wrong direction for it to have been me!” shouted Symbol. “Dante, I’m going after whatever did that! You keep Kate’s life force clone and Vergil safe!”
“From what?!” demanded Dante.
Symbol pointed behind him.
Dante gave his sister a questioning look and glanced over his shoulder. His visors went wide as he saw a wave of red magical energy approaching and dragging the whole city into the Slip Dimension. He turned to Symbol. “I hope you know what you're doing sis,” he warned her.
“I do,” replied Symbol.
Dante looked at her for a second and turned to Vergil. “Get her out of here! GO!” he slammed the door shut.
Vergil floored it.
Dante took off after his brother.
Symbol looked around and called out. “I know you're there!” she shouted.
For several seconds nothing happened before there was a loud neigh and a Symbol had to duck to the side as something shot past her.
Symbol glanced at her new opponent and saw that she was a human female, looking to be around twenty-nine. She had fair skin and blue eyes. There was an emotionless glare on her face that was framed by dishwasher blonde hair.
‘That was an oddly specific guess,’ Symbol thought absently as she continued her observations.
The woman wore a dark blue jumpsuit that engulfed her body from the neck down, it had attached red gloves and black combat boots. There were no zippers, no seams and no openings, no way to get in or out of the suit that Symbol could see. The top half of the suit’s chest shifted from blue fabric to ruby gemstone armour. It was the same four the suit’s shoulders, the area between its shoulders and neck, the knees as while as the forearms and shins. A line of red ruby went halfway down the outside of the legs of the suit, then the line moved down to the front of the legs of the suit, connecting to the suit's knees.
The woman was armed with a red bow that had dark blue veins running through it that looked to carrying pulses of red and blue magical energy through the weapon.
She is a Gem Maiden.
She basically looks like Carol Danvers wearing her red and blue Star Force Uniform from the new Marvel Cinematic Universe Captain Marvel movie.
“Huh, I always wondered what Mom’s species looked like,” commented Symbol as if she was talking about the weather.
Suddenly, the Gem maiden pulled on her bow and in separated into a pair of daggers before she charged at Symbol.
“Woah!” shouted Symbol as she was slashed across the chest plate twice before pulling out the Swift Dagger and blocking a slash, before taking another slash across the leg by the Gem Maiden’s other dagger. Symbol pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever twice. [MAGICAL TOUCH GO!] She scanned the Swift Ring across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [SWIFT! B RANK SPELL!] The Gem Maiden slowed down a bit, but not as much as Symbol thought she would.
Nevertheless, Symbol was able to roll under another slash and switch the Swift Ring for the Active Ring before pressing her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever. [MAGICAL TOUCH HENSHIN!] Symbol scanned her left glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [ACTIVE PLEASE!] She held her left glove out to the side and the active magic circle appeared before moving through her. [LET’S GO!] Transforming Symbol into the Active Style. The Gem Maiden sped up again and slashed Symbol across her faceplate, even as she pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever twice. [MAGICAL TOUCH GO!] Symbol scanned her left glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author again. [ACTIVE! B RANK SPELL!] Both of her arms were covered in red lightning and Symbol blocked the Gem Maiden’s daggers. She caught one of the Gem Maiden’s arms and then twisted it, forcing the Gem Maiden to turn around, before kicking her back.
With the slight opening she had gotten, Symbol slid the Boost and Aqua Rings into her right glove before hitting her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever. [MAGIC TOUCHIE HENSHIN!] She ducked under another dagger swing and punched the Gem Maiden in the stomach before scanning her right glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [BOOST AQUA PLEASE!] Symbol held her right glove out to the side and the two magic circles appeared, knocking the Gem Maiden back as they passed through Symbol.
Symbol’s right shoulder guard turned blue and transformed into a square shape with the top side ticking out and upwards. Her Shin armour turned purple with four vents on them, two at the back and two at the bottom. Golden armour with purple outlines covered the top of her boots and her anklets shifted into solid purple metal with a dark blue line running down the centre of them. Finally, the bronze circle in the centre of Symbol’s chest plate turned into a pair of logos, on the left was a purple boot and on the right was a dark blue ocean wave.
She was now Kamen Rider Symbol, Active Boost Aqua Style and she was armed with the Aqua Jets.
“Bring it on!” Symbol pressed her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever once. [MAGIC TOUCHIE GO!] She took up a running stance as the Gem Maiden charged, Symbol scanned her right glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [BOOST MAGIC PLEASE!] A blast of water was fired from the vents on the Aqua Jets as Symbol sprinted forwards, much faster than the Gem Maiden saw coming and Symbol slammed her knee into the Gem Maiden’s gut, doubling her over.
Symbol hopped back a step, but the Gem Maiden recovered much faster than Symbol had thought she would and punched Symbol in the faceplate. She fell onto her back plate and pressed her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever twice. [MAGIC TOUCHIE GO!] Symbol scanned her right glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [AQUA MAGIC PLEASE!] Water blasted out of the vents on the Aqua Jets as Symbol got back up while break dancing. The eight streams of water slammed into the Gem maiden and sent her staggering back from the pressure.
With the opening she had, Symbol slammed her left glove down on her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever four times. [MAGICAL TOUCH GO! VERY NICE!] Then she scanned her left glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [ACTIVE! S RANK SPELL! THE BEST!] Water came from the vents in the Aqua Jets and sprayed onto the ground. Then it rose up into an orb in front of Symbol. “Hydro Storm!” roared Symbol as she kicked the orb. It transformed into a massive horizontal tornado of water that roared towards the Gem Maiden.
Only for the Gem Maiden to dodge to the side and run at Symbol, slashing her across the chest plate with a horizontal swing. “Argh!” shouted Symbol, but the Gem Maiden didn’t let up and slashed her with a downwards swing, then an upwards diagonal swing before dodging around behind Symbol and kicking her in the back of her knee. All of these attacks drew sparks from Symbol’s body.
“Why you-!” before the Gem Maiden had another chance to attack, Symbol hit her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever once. [MAGICAL TOUCH GO!] She scanned her left glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [ACTIVE! C RANK SPELL!] Symbol covered her left palm in red lightning and spun around, slamming it into the Gem Maiden’s gut then sending a bolt of lightning through her that made the Gem Maiden stagger backwards in pain.
“I need to seal her movements!” muttered Symbol as she switched the Aqua Ring for the Bind Ring and pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever. [MAGIC TOUCHIE HENSHIN!] She scanned her right glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [BOOST BIND PLEASE!] Then Symbol held her right glove out to the side, the bind magic circle appeared and moved through her, transforming Symbol into her new Substyle.
Her right shoulder pauldron shifted back to normal, while the ocean wave logo on her chest plate turned into an orange chain. Symbol’s left shoulder pauldron, her left forearm and her left forearm guard turned orange, they also gained scale patterns. Symbol’s shin armour turned pure purple and lost the vents, instead, they now had three coils of orange chains wrapped around them that linked them to each other and the armour on her boots remained the same.
She was now Kamen Rider Symbol, Active Boost Bind Style and was armed with the Boost Locks.
Symbol hit her Wizard Driver’ right Shift Lever once. [MAGIC TOUCHIE GO!] Symbol scanned her right glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [BOOST MAGIC PLEASE!] She spun around and kicked out, firing a chain of orange magical energy that shot towards the Gem Maiden and wrapped around one of her arms.
Unfortunately for Symbol, the Gem Maiden had recovered and a single hard pull yanked Symbol off her boots and towards the Gem Maiden. While in the air, Symbol pressed her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever twice. [MAGIC TOUCHIE GO!] Symbol scanned her right glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author as she spun around. [BIND MAGIC PLEASE!] This fired an orange energy chain that arced around and slammed into the Gem Maiden, causing her to stumble backwards from the force of the blow.
But the Gem Maiden recovered and rammed the hilt of one of her daggers into the side of Symbol’s helmet. “Argh!” Symbol was stunned for several seconds. The Gem Maiden glowed red and started to slash at Symbol at speeds fast enough to leave behind after images of her arms. Sparks exploded in a storm from Symbol’s body as she staggered backwards. She drew the Active Blade and managed to pull on its thumb, opening its Hand Author. [COME ON A SLASH SHAKE HANDS!] Symbol scanned her left glove across the Active Blade’s Hand Author. [ACTIVE! SLASH STRIKE!] Red magical energy covered the Active Blade as it burst into red lightning. Symbol slashed to the side with it, but the Gem Maiden was able to duck back out of the way of the deadly sword.
“That was a dirty tactic!” growled Symbol as she pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever four times. [MAGICAL TOUCH GO! VERY NICE!] She scanned her left glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author as the Gem Maiden gave her a look. [ACTIVE! S RANK SPELL! THE BEST!] Symbol jumped into the air as red lightning sparked around her body. “Spike Chain!” shouted Symbol as an orange magical energy chain was fired from her Boost Locks. But the Gem Maiden jumped to the side, only for the chain to wrapped around her. Symbol heaved the Gem Maiden through the air and slammed her into the ground, creating a large dust cloud.
When the dust cleared it was revealed the Gem Maiden had stopped all of that momentum with one hand.
“Ok, this girl is definitely high up in the chain of command!” muttered Symbol as she switched the Boost Ring for the Ice Ring and the Bind Ring for the Aqua Ring. Symbol hit her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever. [MAGIC TOUCHIE HENSHIN!] Symbol held her right glove out to the side and the two magic circles appeared, they moved through her, knocking the Gem Maiden away as she tried to rush at Symbol. [ICE AQUA PLEASE!] As the ice and aqua magic circles passed through Symbol, she transformed into her new Active Substyle.
Symbol’s right shoulder guard turned dark blue, transformed into a square shape and the top side of it points upwards and outwards. A bright blue panel with light blue outlines appeared on the outside of Symbol’s right shoulder pauldron. Her upper arm gained a light blue band with a light blue square piece of armour on the outside of it that had a bright blue square within it. Symbol’s right forearm gained a dark blue strap, that held an extra light blue forearm guard on her red forearm guard in the centre of the light blue forearm guards was a bright blue rectangle and coming out of the back of it was a dark blue fin. Symbol’s right wristlet transformed into a light blue bracelet with a bright blue ring going around the outside of it.
She was now Kamen Rider Symbol, Active Ice Aqua Style and was armed with the Frozen Bracer.
The Gem Maiden got back up and charged at Symbol with her daggers raised. Symbol quickly jumped to the side, one of the daggers barely missed her and she pressed her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever twice. [MAGIC TOUCHIE GO!] The Gem Maiden started to turn towards Symbol as she pointed the Frozen Bracer at the ground and fired a blast of freezing cold water. [AQUA MAGIC PLEASE!] It hit the ground around the Gem Maiden’s feet and then it really did freeze over, locking the Gem Maiden’s feet to the ground.
Then Symbol pressed down on her Wizard Driver’s left Shift lever once. [MAGIC TOUCHIE GO!] She scanned her right glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [ICE MAGIC PLEASE!] Mist started to gather as Symbol held up the Frozen Bracer. The mist took on the form of several ice spikes that were floating in the air. Symbol pointed at the Gem Maiden and they fired forwards, only for the Gem Maiden to weave her daggers in a pattern that shattered all of the ice spikes.
“Should have seen that coming!” muttered Symbol as the Gem Maiden charged. Symbol quickly pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever four times. [MAGICAL TOUCH GO! VERY NICE!] Then she scanned her left glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [ACTIVE! S RANK SPELL! THE BEST!] Symbol held out the Frozen Bracer and a ball of ice appeared in her palm. Symbol threw it forwards and the Gem Maiden jumped over it. “Ice Grenade!” shouted Symbol as the ball exploded sending out several ice spikes in all directions that caused sparks to explode from the Gem Maiden as they made contact.
The Gem Maiden recovered extremely fast and charged at Symbol, slashing her across the chest plate twice with her daggers. Then the Gem Maiden jumped into the air and kicked Symbol in the chest plate with both boots, making her stagger backwards with her breath knocked out of her.
Symbol quickly pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever twice. [MAGICAL TOUCH GO!] Then she scanned her left glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [ACTIVE! B RANK SPELL!] Red lightning covered Symbol’s forearm guards as she crossed them over her faceplate, blocking the Gem Maiden’s daggers. Then Symbol punched the Gem Maiden in the face, making her stagger back. Symbol continued her combo with an elbow to the face before spinning around and slamming her other elbow into the Gem Maiden’s face making her go flying backwards.
Symbol quickly switched the Aqua Ring for the Defend Ring and pressed her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever. [MAGIC TOUCHIE HENSHIN!] Then Symbol scanned her right glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [ICE DEFEND PLEASE!] Symbol held her right glove out to the side and the defend magic circle appeared before passing through her as the Gem Maiden slid to a halt.
Symbol’s right shoulder pauldron turned grey and pointed outwards with a pair of vertical silver rings wrapped around it. On the end of her right shoulder pauldron was a bright blue square with light blue outlines. The band and armour on her right upper arm remained the same while her second right forearm guard remained the same but it lost the propeller. Symbol’s right bracelet remained the same and a kite shield appeared in her right glove. It was grey with light blue outlines and a bright blue line cutting through the centre of it. Symbol’s right logo on her chest plate changed from a blue ocean wave logo into a grey kite shield logo.
She had now transformed into Kamen Rider Symbol, Active Ice Defend Style and was armed with the Ice Shield.
Hoping to catch her breath, Symbol pressed her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever once. [MAGIC TOUCHIE GO!] The Gem Maiden leapt at Symbol as she scanned her right glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [ICE MAGIC PLEASE!] Symbol rammed the Ice Shield into the ground and out of it burst a wall of ice that that Gem Maiden slammed into with a loud crash.
“Ha!” shouted Symbol. “Let's see you get to me now!” Symbol mocked the Gem Maiden.
Then she started to climb up the ice wall, using her daggers as picks.
“I should have kept my big mouth shut!” muttered Symbol as she pressed her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever twice. [MAGIC TOUCHIE GO!] Symbol scanned her right glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [DEFEND MAGIC PLEASE!] She held out the Ice Shield and a sphere of ice appeared around her.
The Gem Maiden slammed her daggers into the ice sphere only for them to bounce off with a clang.
“Ha! Now you can’t get me!” Symbol just had to invoke Murphy's law again, realising what she had said, seconds after she said it.
The Gem Maiden’s daggers started to glow red as she pulled them back and started hacking at the ice sphere, quickly cutting chunks of it off.
“I really need to learn to keep my mouth shut!” whined Symbol as she pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever four times. [MAGICAL TOUCH GO! VERY NICE!] The Gem Maiden was just about through when Symbol scanned her left glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [ACTIVE! S RANK SPELL! THE BEST!] Suddenly, a shadow appeared above the Gem Maiden and she looked up. “Ice Avalanche!” just in time to see several tonnes of ice and snow appear before burying her.
“I would say that it’s over, but knowing my luck, it isn’t by a long shot,” commented Symbol as she stared at the pile of snow and ice.
Then the Gem Maiden started to dig her way out.
“Knew it!” commented Symbol. “Ok, since Active Style is not cutting it, let’s try something a little more specialized!” Symbol switched the Active Ring for the Giga Ring and pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever. [MAGICAL TOUCH HENSHIN!] She scanned her left glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [GIGA PLEASE!] Then she held her left glove down to the ground and the giga magic circle appeared before rising up through her. [BREAK THROUGH!] Transforming Symbol into the Giga Style.
Then the Gem Maiden finally got herself out of the snow and ice pile before leaping at Symbol.
Symbol quickly pressed down on her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever twice. [MAGICAL TOUCH SPELL!] As the Gem Maiden approached, Symbol scanned her left glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [GIGA B RANK SPELL!] Symbol slammed her left fist into the ground as it glowed with green magical energy. Out of which came a line of green magic, cutting the Gem Maiden off from Symbol.
Only for the Gem Maiden to leap over the energy line.
“Just as I planned,” muttered Symbol as she struck her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever once. [MAGICAL TOUCH SPELL!] Symbol then swiped her left glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [GIGA C RANK SPELL!] Green magical energy covered her right fist as Symbol pulled it back and decked the Gem Maiden with enough force to send her flying backwards.
Symbol added the Bombardment and Drill Rings to her right glove and struck her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever. [MAGIC TOUCHIE HENSHIN!] Symbol scanned her right glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [BOMBARDMENT DRILL PLEASE!] Symbol held her right glove down to the ground and the two magic circles appeared before rising up through her.
Symbol’s right shoulder guard turned into a dark blue square with golden outlines, while her other shoulder pauldron transformed into a grey sphere with purple outlines and a purple square drawn into it that had a silver drill coming from it. A silver rectangle shaped box appeared over her right shoulder with a purple barrel coming out of it. The bronze square on her chest plate turned into a pair of logos. On the left was a blue explosion logo and on the right was a purple drill logo with a silver spiral around it.
She was now Kamen Rider Symbol, Giga Bombardment Drill Style and was armed with the Spiral Cannon.
Symbol took aim at the Gem Maiden and pressed her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever once. [MAGIC TOUCHIC GO!] She scanned her right glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [BOMBARDMENT MAGIC PLEASE!] Blue magical energy built up around the tip of the Spiral Cannon. “Fire!” shouted Symbol as the Spiral Cannon discharged a wide beam of spiralling blue magical energy that raced towards the Gem Maiden at near supersonic speeds.
Only for the Gem Maiden to cartwheel to the side, avoiding the beam with ease as it raced past her.
*BOOM!*
With a loud explosion, the beam smashed through five blocks of crates at then explode about half a mile away.
Both Symbol and the Gem Maiden were visibly shocked at the amount of power the Spiral Cannon had.
“So this is a long-range bombardment weapon?” questioned Symbol as her inner weapon geek had a near organism. “I’m going to enjoy playing with this!” she hit her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever twice. [MAGIC TOUCHIC GO!] Symbol scanned her right glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [DRILL MAGIC PLEASE!] A much tighter and thinner beam was fired from the Spiral Cannon at the Gem Maiden. It was going at twice the speed of the last beam and slammed into her. Forcing her back and smashing her into a crate.
“Ha!” shouted Symbol. “Take that you- ARGH!” the Gem Maiden closed the distance in less than a second and slashed Symbol cross her chest plate before cutting a line of sparks from her arms with a pair of downwards slashes. Not eager to take on any more damage, Symbol pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever three times. [MAGICAL TOUCH SPELL!] Then Symbol scanned her left glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [GIGA A RANK SPELL!] She was covered in a thin layer of green magical energy that blocked an X slash from the Gem Maiden’s daggers.
Knowing that would not hold for long, Symbol pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever four times. [MAGICAL TOUCH GO! VERY NICE!] Then she scanned her left glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [GIGA! S RANK SPELL! THE BEST!] The green magical energy around her body raged as Symbol crossed her arms. “Giga Embodiment!” shouted Symbol as she uncrossed her arms and the green magical energy surged outwards, slamming into the Gem Maiden and sending her flying back from the force of the attack slamming into her.
Symbol quickly hit her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever four times. [MAGICAL TOUCH GO! VERY NICE!] As the Gem Maiden started to get back up, Symbol scanned her left glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [GIGA! S RANK SPELL! THE BEST!] Blue and purple magical energy charged with the Spiral Cannon. “Drill!” shouted Symbol as she pulled the trigger. Out of the Spiral Cannon roared a spiralling beam of purple and blue magical energy, the Gem Maiden dodged it with ease. “Dimension!” finished Symbol as a portal opened in front of the beam, swallowing it. A second portal opened and the beam shot out, slamming into the Gem Maiden’s back and igniting a large explosion across it.
Taking her opening, Symbol switched the Drill Ring for the Quake Ring and pressed her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever. [MAGIC TOUCHIE HENSHIN!] Symbol scanned her right glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author as the Gem Maiden started to get back up. [BOMBARDMENT QUAKE PLEASE!] She held her right glove down to the ground and the quake magic circle appeared before rising up through her.
Symbol’s left shoulder pauldron shifted so that it was now identical to her right shoulder pauldron. Burnt orange armour now covered both her shins and wrapped around her upper legs. Her knee armour shifted into dark yellow diamond-shaped armour, while her anklets turned into solid dark yellow metal. Burnt orange armour appeared on top of her boots, while the drill logo on her chest plate shifted into an orange crack logo. The Spiral Cannon transformed, with the main body turning burnt orange while the cannon turned dark yellow and the main body gained a trio of cylinder shaped pistons in the back of it.
She was now Kamen Rider Symbol, Giga Bombardment Quake Style and was armed with the Impact Cannon.
The Gem Maiden had gotten back up and charged at her once more. Symbol pressed her Wizard Driver’s right Shift lever once. [MAGIC TOUCHIC GO!] Then she scanned her right glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [BOMBARDMENT MAGIC PLEASE!] Symbol took aim as the pistons at the back of the Impact Cannon pulled back. Then she pulled the trigger as the pistons fired. Out of the Impact Cannon’s barrel came a shell of orange magical energy that slammed into the Gem Maiden.
Or at least it would have if she had not jumped over it and done a split, letting the shell pass under her.
“Let’s give this one a go!” shouted Symbol as she pressed her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever twice. [MAGIC TOUCHIC GO!] The Gem Maiden charged at Symbol scanned her right glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author and the pistons on the Impact Cannon. [QUAKE MAGIC PLEASE!] Symbol fired another shell of orange magical energy, the Gem Maiden jumped to the side, avoiding it with ease. Only for the Pistons on the Impact Cannon to fire and cause the shell to detonate in the air, sending the Gem Maiden flying out of the smoke.
Seeing an opening, Symbol hit her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever four times. [MAGICAL TOUCH GO! VERY NICE!] As the Gem Maiden got back up, Symbol scanned her left glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [GIGA! S RANK SPELL! THE BEST!] The pistons on the Impact Cannon pulled back as blue and orange magical energy charged around the Impact Cannon’s barrel. “Impact Burst!” shouted Symbol as she pulled the trigger. Out of the Impact Cannon’s barrel came a shell of orange magical energy that slammed into the Gem Maiden. The pistons on the Impact Cannon fired and four pulses of orange magical energy were released from the shell, sending the Gem Maiden flying backwards.
Seeing the Gem Maiden get back up Symbol snarled. “Range combat isn’t cutting it! I’ll have to get in close but keep my distance. Hammer style will be perfect for that, but I’ll add something new!” Symbol added the Hammer and the Drill Rings to her right glove before pressing her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever. [MAGIC TOUCHIE HENSHIN!] She scanned her right glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [HAMMER DRILL PLEASE!] Symbol held her right glove down to the ground and the two magic circles appeared and rose up through her, transforming her into her new style.
The armour on the back of Symbol’s right glove turned thicker and black. Her right wristlet turned into a solid black metal bracelet, while her right forearm also turned black. Her right forearm guard turned black and shot much thicker. Thick black armour appeared on the outside of her right upper arm and her right shoulder pauldron turned into a black square. Symbol’s left shoulder pauldron turned into a silver sphere with purple outlines and a silver square in the centre of it with a silver drill coming out of it. A black sledgehammer with a silver drill on the front of it and a purple rocket engine on the back of it appeared in her right glove.
She was now Kamen Rider Symbol, Giga Hammer Drill Style and she was armed with the Driller Hammer.
Symbol saw the Gem Maiden charging and pressed her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever twice. [MAGIC TOUCHIC GO!] The Gem Maiden made the mistake of jumping into the air as Symbol scanned her right glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [DRILL MAGIC PLEASE!] She swung the Driller Hammer around, slamming it into the Gem Maiden’s side and sending her flying.
As the Gem Maiden shot through the air, Symbol pressed her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever once. [MAGIC TOUCHIC GO!] The Gem Maiden landed on the ground and flipped back to her feet before charging at Symbol, just as she scanned her right glove across the Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [HAMMER MAGIC PLEASE!] With a roar the jet engine on the back of the Driller Hammer powered up, Symbol swung the Driller Hammer, smashing it into the side of the Gem Maiden. But she only skidding a foot as she had managed to block it.
“Oh you have got to be kidding me!” shouted Symbol right before the Driller Hammer was used as a makeshift lever to send her flying through the air. “Argh!” with a scream Symbol smashed into a crate.
*CRASH!*
With that noise, Symbol dented the crate that she had impacted with. “Owie!” groaned Symbol as has got back up. Seeing the Gem Maiden charging at her, Symbol pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever four times. [MAGICAL TOUCH GO! VERY NICE!] Symbol scanned her right glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author as she gripped the Driller Hammer in both gloves. [GIGA! S RANK SPELL! THE BEST!] The Driller Hammer’s drill spun and its rocket engine fired as Symbol swung it around. “Drilling Rocket!” bellowed Symbol as the Driller Hammer impacted the Gem Maiden and sent her smashing into the ground with sparks coming from her body where the Driller Hammer and made contact with her.
The Gem Maiden flipped back to her boots and ran at Symbol, slashing her with both of her daggers. “This is getting silly!” shouted Symbol as she pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever. [MAGICAL TOUCH SPELL!] Symbol threw the Driller Hammer at the Gem Maiden, catching her off guard as Symbol scanned her left glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [GIGA C RANK SPELL!] Green magical energy covered Symbol’s right glove. She recalled the Driller Hammer and used it to block one of the Gem Maiden’s daggers before using the Driller Hammer to pin the Gem Maiden’s arm to a crate. Symbol smashed her right fist into the Gem Maiden’s face. Sparks explode from it as the Gem Maiden was sent flying back and smashed into a crane, causing it to topple over on top of her.
Knowing that it was not over, Symbol switched the Drill Ring for the Terra Ring and pressed her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever. [MAGIC TOUCHIE HENSHIN!] Symbol’s theory proved to be correct, as she scanned her right glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author the Gem Maiden exploded out of the crane. [HAMMER TERRA PLEASE!] The terra magic circle appeared under Symbol’s boots as she held her right glove down to the ground and rose up through Symbol.
Her right glove, forearm, forearm guard and shoulder pauldron all remained the same. The purple and silver drill logo on the right side of her chest plate transformed into a black tank tread logo. Symbol’s left shoulder pauldron transformed back into the normal Giga Style shoulder pauldron. Symbol’s boots gained black armour on the top of them with grey armour on the side of them. Her anklets transformed into solid silver metal while her shin armour turned black with grey armour on the side of her lower legs. Her knee armour transformed from silver to grey pads. The Driller Hammer lost its rocket engine and drill, now it had a pair of black tanks treads on either side of it with small silver spikes coming out of them that let them be used as chainsaws.
She was now Kamen Rider Symbol, Giga Hammer Terra Style and was armed with the Ripper Hammer.
The Gem Maiden jumped into the air and came down with a pair of slashes, which Symbol used the Ripper Hammer to block as she pressed her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever once. [MAGIC TOUCHIC GO!] Symbol scanned her right glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [HAMMER MAGIC PLEASE!] Symbol swung the Ripper Hammer as the chainsaws on either side of it started up with a loud roar. The Gem Maiden crossed her knives to block the first swing from overhead. Symbol spun around and swung the Ripper Hammer upwards, breaking the Gem Maidens guards and knocking her off balance. Then Symbol swung the Ripper Hammer around in a third swing that the Gem Maiden block from the side only to slip and fall over thanks to her ruined balance.
Symbol slammed her glove down on her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever once. [MAGIC TOUCHIC GO!] Then she scanned her right glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [TERRA MAGIC PLEASE!] The Gem Maiden had just started to get back up when a shadow fell over her. She looked up, just in time to see a giant sledgehammer smash down on top of her, smashing her into the ground.
Symbol pressed down on her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever four times. [MAGICAL TOUCH GO! VERY NICE!] She scanned her left glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [GIGA! S RANK SPELL! THE BEST!] Symbol pulled back the already giant Ripper Hammer as the chainsaws roared to life. “Ripping Strike!” shouted Symbol. She slammed the Ripper Hammer down again, fully aiming to crush the Gem Maiden and finish the fight with this last strike.
But something unexpected happened.
The Gem Maiden slammed both of her daggers together at the hilts. They combined in a flash of red magical energy, transforming back into her bow. She pulled back on the energy string as it appeared and a red arrow made of magical energy appeared. Taking aim she let the arrow go. It transformed into a streak of red magical energy that slammed into the Ripper Hammer with enough force to stop it cold.
“WHAT THE-?!” shouted Symbol as she tried to push the Ripper Hammer down.
*Crack*
Symbol’s ears picked up a cracking sound.
*Crack!*
It got loud.
*CRACK*
Symbol looked towards the Ripper Hammer.
*CRACK!*
Her visors went wide in shock as she saw cracks spreading through her weapon.
*SHATTER!*
Before Symbol had any chance to do anything the Ripper Hammer shattered into a million fragments. Sparks flew from Symbol’s body as she was pelted with several shards. She looked at the Gem Maiden in shock, Kamen Rider weapons were ridiculously durable and to shatter one it took an equally ridiculous amount of force or energy.
Suddenly, another arrow shot through the air and slammed into Symbol’s right shoulder pauldron making sparks explode from it.
Before Symbol had any chance to react, another bolt of red magical energy slammed into her stomach, knocking the wind out of her. Sparks explode from her stomach as Symbol staggered back in pain.
Another two bolts of red magical energy slammed int Symbol’s chest plate. Not doing as much damage but still making Symbol fall on her butt from the force and energy they had behind them.
‘She’s getting faster!’ thought Symbol as she was hit by three more arrows of red magical energy, one of which striking her in the face plate and making sparks explode from it as her helmet snapped back.
“Let's see how you like this!” Symbol switched the Giga Ring for the Burst Ring and pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever. [MAGICAL TOUCH HENSHIN!] Five more red magical energy arrows came shooting towards Symbol as she scanned her left glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [BURST PLEASE!] She held her left glove out to the side with her palm facing backwards, the burst magic circle appeared and passed through Symbol. [CAST THE SPELL!] Transforming her into the Burst Style as well as blocking the three magical energy arrows that had been heading towards Symbol’s faceplate. The Gem Maiden fired four more red magical energy arrows as Symbol pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever once. [MAGICAL TOUCH GO!] Symbol scanned her left glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author and held said glove out. [BURST! C RANK SPELL!] Four sparks appeared in the air and ignited into balls of flame that blocked the arrows from reaching Symbol, destroying them.
Symbol quickly slid the Dust and Radiation Rings onto her right glove before pressing her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever. [MAGIC TOUCHIE HENSHIN!] Then Symbol scanned her right glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [SAND RADIATION PLEASE!] Symbol held her right glove out to the side and the two magic circles appeared behind her before moving through her.
Symbol’s shoulder pauldrons turned toxic green, while her elbow armour turned toxic yellow. The armour on the back of her gloves, the first part of her fingers and the second part of her fingers turned toxic green. The armour on her knuckles, finger joints and fingertips turned toxic yellow. Symbol’s knee armour and the armour on the top of her boots turned toxic yellow, while her knee armour outlines and the armour on the side of her boots turned toxic green. Brown armour appeared around Symbol’s upper arms and legs, while her shin armour and her forearm armour turned brown.
She was now Kamen Rider Symbol, Burst Sand Radiation Style and she had no weapon in this form.
Symbol pressed her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever once. [MAGIC TOUCHIE GO!] She scanned her right glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author as the Gem Maiden fired a single large red magical energy arrow. [SAND MAGIC PLEASE!] Symbol pointed her right glove forwards and fired a beam of brown sand that smashed into the arrow and dust it into dust. The beam shot towards the Gem Maiden before a second arrow was fired, holding the beam back long enough for the Gem Maiden to get out of the way.
The Gem Maiden aimed up into the air and fired a storm of red magical energy arrows that arched up into the air before coming back downwards Symbol. “Oh no,” muttered Symbol as she pressed her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever twice. [MAGIC TOUCHIE GO!] Symbol scanned her right glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author as the arrow storm approached. [RADIATION MAGIC PLEASE!] She held her right glove into the air and fired a pair of beams both were made of green radiation and spiralled around each other. They made contact with the arrow storm and exploded completely and utterly destroying the arrow storm.
Symbol glared at the Gem Maiden as she pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever four times. [MAGICAL TOUCH GO! VERY NICE!] Symbol dashed towards the Phantom as she scanned her left glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [BURST! S RANK SPELL! THE BEST!] The Gem Maiden fired a single powerful red magical energy arrow towards Symbol. “Sand Rush!” Symbol transformed into hot sand as she passed through the arrow and slammed into the Gem Maiden with a mighty explosion that sent her flying backwards through the air.
But the Gem Maiden recovered once more and fired four arrows at Symbol. She pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever twice. [MAGICAL TOUCH GO!] Then she scanned her left glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author a second before the arrows could hit. [BURST! B RANK SPELL!] Water in the air froze over and transformed into for shurikens made of ice that stopped all four of the arrows, cold.
Then Symbol saw another storm of arrows approaching her. “Where does she keep getting all of these arrows?!” demanded Symbol as she hit her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever three times. [MAGICAL TOUCH GO!] She scanned her left glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author and punched the ground. [BURST! A RANK SPELL!] From which burst a wall of solid rock, the arrows slammed into it and massive cracks shook the wall, but it held against the assault.
“I need a bit more defence!” muttered Symbol as she switched the Radiation Ring for the Mirror Ring and pressed her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever. [MAGIC TOUCHIE HENSHIN!] Symbol scanned her right glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [SAND MIRROR PLEASE!] Symbol held her right glove out to the side and the two magic circles appeared before moving through her.
Symbol’s shoulder pauldron, elbow guards, the armour on the back of her gloves, her knee armour and the armour on the top of her boots all turned crystal silver. The radiation logo on the right side of Symbol’s chest plate turned into a crystal silver mirror logo.
She was now Kamen Rider Symbol, Burst Dust Mirror Style and in this form, she had no weapon.
The Gem Maiden fired five more red magical energy arrows at Symbol, who pressed her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever once. [MAGIC TOUCHIE GO!] She scanned her right glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [SAND MAGIC PLEASE!] A wall of sand appeared in front of Symbol, blocking all five of the arrows. But then they exploded, breaking apart the wall and sending Symbol flying backwards with sparks coming from her armour.
“Argh!” shouted Symbol as sparks came from her body, then more sparks exploded out of her as ten more arrows of red magical energy smashed into Symbol. She got up and saw another eleven arrows of red magical energy racing towards her. Symbol hit her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever twice. [MAGIC TOUCHIE GO!] She scanned her right glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [MIRROR MAGIC PLEASE!] eleven more small mirrors made of silver magical energy appeared in the air. Blocking the eleven arrows and when they exploded the force was thrown back at the Gem Maiden, making sparks come from her body.
Pressing her advantage, Symbol pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever four times. [MAGICAL TOUCH GO! VERY NICE!] Then Symbol scanned her left glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [BURST! S RANK SPELL! THE BEST!] From the ground burst a tidal wave of sand. “Sand Wall!” it raced towards the Gem Maiden and engulfed her, before, in an explosion of red magical energy, she burst out of the sand before it had a chance to try and crush her.
“In that case, we’ll give this ago!” Symbol switched the Sand Ring for the Steam Ring and pressed her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever [MAGIC TOUCHIE HENSHIN!] Then, as the Gem Maiden fired another twelve arrows at Symbol, she scanned her right glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [STEAM MIRROR PLEASE!] Then she held her right glove out to the side and the steam magic circle appeared before moving through her.
The armour around Symbol’s upper arms and upper legs turned white, as did her forearm guards and shin armour. The brown sand logo on the left side of her chest plate transformed into a white cloud logo.
She was now Kamen Rider Symbol, Burst Steam Mirror Style and she had no weapon in this form.
The magic circles had deflected the last barrage and so the Gem Maiden fired another barrage of thirteen arrows, these ones bounced off each other as they closed in around Symbol. She replied to the threat by pressing her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever twice. [MAGIC TOUCHIE GO!] Symbol scanned her right glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [MIRROR MAGIC PLEASE!] A circle of mirrors appeared around Symbol, blocking the arrows and throwing the explosive energy away from Symbol so she was not harmed when the arrows exploded.
Symbol quickly kept up the pace by pressing her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever once. [MAGIC TOUCHIE GO!] The Gem Maiden pulled back on her bow and fired fourteen arrows that spiralled around each other before merging into a single giant arrow. “Oh, nuts!” shouted Symbol as she scanned her right glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [STEAM MAGIC PLEASE!] A mirror appeared in front of Symbol, absorbing the arrow and shooting it back at the Gem Maiden. It slammed into her and threw her back in a giant explosion.
“Let’s see what this does!” Symbol pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever four times. [MAGICAL TOUCH GO! VERY NICE!] The Gem Maiden landed on the ground, right as Symbol scanned her left glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [BURST! S RANK SPELL! THE BEST!] Two mirrors appeared on either side of the Gem Maiden, blasting her with a stream of hot steam that made sparks explode from her body.
When the attack ended the Gem Maiden got back up and fired fifteen arrows from her bow. “Oh come on!” shouted Symbol as she switched the Mirror Ring for the Glass Ring and pressed her Wizard Driver’s right Shift lever. [MAGIC TOUCHIE HENSHIN!] Symbol scanned her right glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author as the arrows approached. [STEAM GLASS PLEASE!] Then she held her right glove out to the side with her palm facing backwards. The glass magic circle appeared behind Symbol and moved through her, blocking the arrows as it moved in front of her.
Symbol quickly pressed her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever once. [MAGIC TOUCHIE GO!] Then she scanned her right glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [GLASS MAGIC PLEASE!] Symbol held up her left glove and glass stars appeared before they started to spin and swirl into the form of a spear that was superheated by the steam inside it. Symbol hurled the spear forwards, only for it to be smashed into pieces by a barrage of sixteen red magical energy arrows.
The arrows shot towards Symbol as she pressed her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever once. [MAGIC TOUCHIE GO!] Then she scanned her right glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [STEAM MAGIC PLEASE!] A circle of glass shards surrounded Symbol and blocked all of the arrows, except for one that slammed into her body and made sparks explode from her back plate.
“Nuts!” muttered Symbol. “I think she’s adapted to Burst Style!” Symbol slammed her glove down on her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever four times. [MAGICAL TOUCH GO! VERY NICE!] The Gem Maiden fired seventeen red magical energy arrows as Symbol scanned her left glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [BURST! S RANK SPELL! THE BEST!] Symbol punched the ground. “Glass Spikes!” she shouted as spikes of glass came out of the ground.
Which the arrows shot straight over.
“How the heck did I think that was going to help?!” shouted Symbol as she slammed her left glove down on her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever three times. [MAGICAL TOUCH GO!] She aligned her left glove with her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author and punched the ground. [BURST! A RANK SPELL!] From the ground burst a wall of solid rock, the arrows slammed into it and caused the wall to shatter, but Symbol was unharmed.
“Time for plan D,” muttered Symbol as she switched the Burst Ring for the Swift Ring and pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever. [MAGICAL TOUCH HENSHIN!] Symbol scanned her left glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [SWIFT PLEASE!] Then she held her left glove into the air as the swift magic circle appeared before falling through her. [DASH AWAY!] Transforming Symbol into her Swift Style.
The Gem Maiden fired eighteen arrows of red magical energy at Symbol as she pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever once. [MAGICAL TOUCH GO!] Symbol swiped her left glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [SWIFT! C RANK SPELL!] Symbol swiped her right glove to the side and five orbs of yellow magical energy appeared. They shot through the air and slammed into the storm of red magical arrows before exploding, destroying the arrows.
Symbol quickly added the Arrow and Zoomer Rings to her right glove before pressing down on her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever. [MAGIC TOUCHIE HENSHIN!] She scanned her right glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author as nineteen arrows of red magical energy were shot at her. [ARROW ZOOMER PLEASE!] Symbol jumped into the air and through the two magic circle as the arrows shot under her.
Symbol’s left shoulder pauldron turned green, it now had three layers and pointed outwards. Her left forearm guard turned green and her right wristlet turned into solid silver metal with an arrow over her left glove. Symbol’s shin armour turned burnt orange, as did the armour on the back of her boots with a spike coming out of each side of her heels. The inverted triangle in the centre of Symbol’s chest plate turned into a pair of logos. The left logo was a trio of green wind swirls and the right logo was three burnt orange speed arrows. In her left glove, a green bow with red outlines appeared.
She was now Kamen Rider Symbol, Swift Arrow Zoomer Style and she was armed with the Speed Bow.
Symbol quickly pressed her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever twice. [MAGIC TOUCHIE GO!] The Gem Maiden fired a barrage of twenty arrows at Symbol as she scanned her right glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [ZOOMER MAGIC PLEASE!] She glowed red before vanishing in a blur, getting around the arrows and firing her own arrows from the Speed Bow at the Gem Maiden’s back. Making sparks come from her body as Symbol circled around the Gem Maiden, constantly firing arrows at her back.
Symbol saw that the Gem Maiden was starting to adapt and pressed her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever twice. [MAGIC TOUCHIE GO!] She skidded to a halt as she scanned her right glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [ARROW MAGIC PLEASE!] Symbol fired over a dozen red and green energy bolts from the Speed Bow, dozens over micro explosions go off across the Gem Maiden’s body.
While the Gem Maiden was reeling from the blows, Symbol pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever four times. [MAGICAL TOUCH GO! VERY NICE!] Just before the Gem Maiden could recover, Symbol scanned her left glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [SWIFT! S RANK SPELL! THE BEST!] Yellow magical energy covered the Speed Bow as Symbol ran around the Gem Maiden, slashing her with the Speed Bow and making sparks come from the Gem Maiden’s body.
“Last one,” muttered Symbol as she switched the Arrow Ring for the Turbo Ring and the Zoomer Ring for the Blade Ring. Symbol pressed her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever. [MAGIC TOUCHIE HENSHIN!] She scanned her right glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [TURBO BLADE PLEASE!] Symbol held her right glove into the air and two magic circles appeared before falling through her.
Symbol’s shoulder pauldrons turned light brown with dark brown outlines and pointed outwards. A burnt red band appeared around her upper arms with burnt red armour on the outside of them. Her forearm armour turned red with a trio of burnt red claws coming out of them and going between Symbol’s knuckles. A light brown turbine with dark brown outlines appeared on the back of Symbol’s forearm guards. The logos on her chest plate transformed from a trio of green wind swirls and a trio of speed lines to a brown turbine logo and a red buzzsaw logo.
She was now Kamen Rider Symbol, Swift Turbo Blade Style and was armed with the Turbo Shooters.
Symbol pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever once. [MAGIC TOUCHIE GO!] Symbol scanned her right glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [TURBO MAGIC PLEASE!] The turbine on the left Turbo Shooter powered up as Symbol punched forwards, firing a large spinning buzzsaw that slammed into the Gem Maiden’s side, grinding sparks out of it.
Then Symbol pressed her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever twice. [MAGIC TOUCHIE GO!] She scanned her right glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author as the Gem Maiden started to recover. [BLADE MAGIC PLEASE!] Symbol pulled back her fist as the Turbo Shooter powered up and fired a blast of wind, boosting Symbol’s fist forwards as it slammed into the Gem Maiden’s face, sending her staggering backwards.
Then Symbol hit her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever four times. [MAGICAL TOUCH GO! VERY NICE!] Symbol scanned her left glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [SWIFT! S RANK SPELL! THE BEST!] A buzzsaw construct covered her left glove as the Turbo Shooter shot her forwards. Symbol pulled back her fist. “Turbo Boost!” then slammed it into the Gem Maiden’s face making sparks explode as the Gem Maiden was sent flying backwards.
“That, should, have, finished, her, off,” panted Symbol.
She spoke too soon.
In an explosion of red magical energy, the Gem Maiden landed on the ground and her bow transformed into a sword.
“You have got to be joking!” whined Symbol as the Gem Maiden charged. Symbol switched the Swift Ring for the Active Ring and pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift lever. [MAGICAL TOUCH HENSHIN!] She scanned her left glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [ACTIVE PLEASE!] Symbol held her left glove out to the side, making the active magic circle appear and move through her. [LET’S GO!] She drew the Active Blade and locked swords with the Gem Maiden.
But Symbol was sent staggering backwards from the force of the Gem Maiden’s sword. She was slashed across the chest plate, leaving a trail of sparks as she tried to get her balance back. “I need a bit more strength,” grunted Symbol, then she leaned back to avoid a slash across the chest plate. “But I also need some more time!” she pulled on the Active Blade’s thumb, opening its Hand Author. [COME ON A SLASH SHAKE HANDS!] Symbol rolled under another slash and scanned her left glove across the Active Blade’s Hand Author. [ACTIVE! SLASH STRIKE!] Red lightning covered the Active Blade. “Red Slash!” roared Symbol as she brought the Active Blade around in a horizontal swing. The Gem Maiden raised her sword to block, but was shocked by the red lightning and staggered backwards.
Symbol took this opening to add the Slasher and Defend Rings to her right index and ring fingers. She pressed her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever. [MAGIC TOUCHIE HENSHIN!] Symbol scanned her right glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [SLASHER DEFEND PLEASE!] She held her right glove out to the side and the two magic circles appeared before moving through her. The Gem Maiden had recovered and ran at Symbol, bringing her sword downwards. Symbol blocked with the left Slasher Defend Claw, her knees buckled from the force as she pressed her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever. [MAGIC TOUCHIE GO!] Symbol threw the left Slasher Defend Claw up, forcing the Gem Maiden back as she scanned her right glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [SLASHER MAGIC PLEASE!] Green magical energy covered both of the Slasher Defend Claws as Symbol punched forwards with her right Slasher Defend Claw. The Gem Maiden blocked with the flat over her sword, only to be hit in the shoulder by the other Slasher Defend Claw and then uppercutted by the Slasher Defend Claw that she had been blocking.
Suddenly, the Gem Maiden blurred and appeared behind Symbol, slashing her across the back plate with her sword. “Argh!” shouted Symbol in pain as she spun around and swatted at the Gem Maiden with her right Slasher Defend Claw. The Gem Maiden vanished and appeared behind Symbol again. But this time Symbol was ready and spun around, blocking the downwards swing with the right Slasher Defend Claw while punching at the Gem Maiden with her left Slasher Defend Claw.
The Gem Maiden was able to disengage and jump back before charging at Symbol with her sword posed for a stab. Symbol hit her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever twice. [MAGIC TOUCHIE GO!] The Gem Maiden stabbed forwards as Symbol scanned her right glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [DEFEND MAGIC PLEASE!] Symbol crossed the Defend Claws as shields, blocking the attack but still being sent sliding backwards several feet from the force behind the sword.
“Grr!” Symbol switched the Slasher Ring for the Ice Ring and pressed her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever. [MAGIC TOUCHIE HENSHIN!] She scanned her right glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [ICE DEFEND PLEASE!] Symbol held her right glove out to the side and the ice magic circle appeared before passing through her. The Gem Maiden vanished and appeared in front of Symbol, slashing her across the chest plate. “Argh!” Symbol grunted in pain as she pressed her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever twice. [MAGIC TOUCHIE GO!] She scanned her right glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author as the Gem Maiden pulled back for another attack. [DEFEND MAGIC PLEASE!] Symbol punched the ground with her Ice Shield, creating a sphere of ice around herself that blocked the Gem Maiden from getting anywhere near her.
Symbol switched the Defend Ring for the Bind Ring as she pressed down on her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever. [MAGIC TOUCHIE HENSHIN!] Symbol scanned her right glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [ICE BIND PLEASE!] She held her right glove out to the side and the bind magic circle appeared before moving through her, transforming Symbol into the Active Ice Bind Style. Symbol hit her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever once as the ice around her started to crack from the Gem Maiden’s continuous assault. [MAGIC TOUCHIE GO!] Symbol scanned her right glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author as cracks spread through the ice. [ICE MAGIC PLEASE!] Then Symbol punched the ground, making ice spikes burst from it, they locked around the Gem Maiden’s limbs, stopping her from attacking.
Symbol then switched the Active Ring for the Giga Ring and hit her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever. [MAGICAL TOUCH HENSHIN!] She scanned her left glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [GIGA PLEASE!] Symbol held the Giga Ring down to the ground, making the giga magic circle appear under her boots before rising up through her. [BREAK THROUGH!] Transforming Symbol into her Giga Style. The Gem Maiden broke the ice around its limbs and started to break through the ice around Symbol as she pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever. [MAGICAL TOUCH SPELL!] Symbol scanned her left glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author, just as the Gem Maiden broke through the ice wall. [GIGA C RANK SPELL!] Green magical energy covered Symbol’s right glove as she took a slash across her right shoulder pauldron and punched the Gem Maiden in the stomach with enough force to knock the wind out of her.
The Gem Maiden staggered backwards as Symbol pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever four times. [MAGICAL TOUCH GO! VERY NICE!] Symbol aligned her left glove with her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author again. [GIGA! S RANK SPELL! THE BEST!] The green magical energy around Symbol’s right glove blazed as she pulled it back and slammed it into the Gem Maiden. Or at least she would have if the Gem Maiden had not blocked with the flat of her sword and both of them were sent skidding backwards from each other.
Symbol used the distance to add the Bombardment and Drill Rings to her right glove before pressing her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever. [MAGIC TOUCHIE HENSHIN!] She swiped her right glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [BOMBARDMENT DRILL PLEASE!] The two magic circles appeared under Symbol’s boots and rose up through her as she pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever four times. [MAGICAL TOUCH GO! VERY NICE!] Purple, blue and green magical energy built up in front of the Spiral Cannon as Symbol scanned the Giga Ring over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [GIGA! S RANK SPELL! THE BEST!] Symbol took aim as the Gem Maiden ran towards her. “Drill Warp!” she fired a beam from the Spiral Cannon that the Gem Maiden dodged. Then she dodged again as the beam was swallowed by a hole in the air and blasted out of a second hole towards her.
Seeing that she had missed, Symbol switched the Drill Ring for the Terra Ring and pressed her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever. [MAGIC TOUCHIE HENSHIN!] Then she scanned her right glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [BOMBARDMENT TERRA PLEASE!] The Gem Maiden had to pause as the terra magic circle appeared under Symbol’s boots and rose up through her. This gave Symbol enough time to strike her Wizard Driver’s right Shift Lever twice. [MAGIC TOUCHIC GO!] She scanned her right glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author as the Chain Cannons targeted the Gem Maiden. [TERRA MAGIC PLEASE!] The Gem Maiden charged, hoping to stop Symbol before she could fire.
The Gem Maiden was too late.
From the Chain Cannons came a pair of shotgun bursts that slammed into it, sending the Gem Maiden staggering backwards with sparks coming from her body.
Then Symbol switched the Giga Ring for the Burst Ring and hit her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever. [MAGICAL TOUCH HENSHIN!] She scanned her left glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [BURST PLEASE!] Then held her left glove out to the side, making the burst magic circle appear behind her and move through her. [CAST THE SPELL!] Transforming Symbol into the Burst Style as she pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever three more times. [MAGICAL TOUCH GO!] Symbol swiped her left glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author and punched the ground, just as the Gem Maiden recovered. [BURST! A RANK SPELL!] Out of which burst a wall of solid rock.
The Gem Maiden ran towards the wall and ran up it, getting over Symbol's protection with ease.
But this had given Symbol all the time she needed to charge up enough mana for her plan. “Enough is enough!” snarled out Symbol as she switched the Burst Ring for the Advance Ring and pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever. [TOUCH TO ADVANCE YOUR CLASS!] Symbol scanned her left glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author and held her left glove out in front of her and the Gem Maiden charged. [ADVANCE PLEASE!] The advance magic circle appeared in front of Symbol and moved back through her, but not before the Gem Maiden slammed into it and was sent flying backwards in an explosion of yellow magical energy. The magic circle passed through Symbol, transforming her into the Advance Style.
Symbol pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever twice. [TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL!] Then scanned her left glove over her Wizard Driver’s. [ADVANCE B TIER SPELL!] The rectangle on the back of Symbol’s right forearm guard glowed as Symbol shot forwards and slammed her elbow into the Gem Maiden’s face, sending her flying backwards and making her skip along the ground.
The Gem Maiden recovered and slid along the ground on her boots before she looked at Symbol with her emotionless eyes.
“That is a bit creepy,” muttered Symbol. “ARGH!” right before a headache tore through the side of her helmet.
Suddenly, the Gem Maiden was covered in a glow of burning red magical energy that burst outwards, flinging rubble, dirt, metal and concrete into the air. Symbol was forced to stagger back several steps from the force of the red magical energy.
“What on earth was that?!” shouted Symbol in shock.
When the smoke cleared, the gem maiden was covered by red burning magical energy that made it look like a bonfire.
“I repeat: What on earth is that?” questioned Symbol.
Then the Gem Maiden moved! She was suddenly in front of Symbol at speeds which were nearly to fast for Symbol to react. “What the-?!” Symbol was punched in the face plate and sent flying back. The Gem Maiden became a red blur as she moved around behind Symbol and stabbed her in the back, sending the Kamen Rider shooting forwards again. Symbol saw the Gem Maiden appear in front of her and pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever three times while she was shooting through the air. [TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL!] Symbol scanned her left glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author before she crossed her arms in front of her as the rectangles on the back of her forearm guards leaked yellow magical energy. [ADVANCE A TIER SPELL!] From her gloves a shield formed that deflected the Gem Maiden’s next swing at Symbol’s neck.
Symbol landed back on the ground and pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever twice. [TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL!] She winced as another blast of pain shot through her helmet and scanned her left glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [ADVANCE B TIER SPELL!] The rectangles on Symbol’s armour glowed as she vanished. As did the Gem Maiden.
For several seconds two blurs crashed in the air, one was yellow and grey while the other was red. Symbol’s threw a hook at the Gem Maiden’s face, only for it to be forced away by the Gem Maiden’s sword. Symbol was forced to deflect a swing with both of her forearm guards and kicked the Gem Maiden in the chest. The Gem Maiden jumped back and then returned the favour by stabbing Symbol in the chest plate.
Symbol stumbled back and at the same time her speed boost wore off. She was slashed in the chest plate over a dozen times in the next five seconds before she pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever four times. [TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL! VERY NICE!] Symbol was slashed in the back plate twice more before she scanned her left glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [ADVANCE S TIER SPELL! THE BEST!] Symbol covered her left fist in yellow magical energy as she pulled it back and slammed it into the ground. “Advance Impact!” a dome of yellow magical energy surrounded Symbol and sent the Gem Maiden flying through the air, slamming into one of the few crates in the docks that were still in one piece.
Symbol quickly pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever once as she ran towards the Gem Maiden. [TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL!] The Gem Maiden was just getting back up as Symbol scanned her left glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author, wincing as one large burst of pain shot through her helmet. [ADVANCE C TIER SPELL!] Symbol covered her right fist in yellow magical energy as she punched upwards, sending the Gem Maiden shooting into the air.
Suddenly, Symbol clenched her helmet in pain and screamed in agony. Her helmet dropped down and when she looked back up at the returning Gem Maiden, the outside of her visors and turned grey with the inside of them remaining yellow. Symbol pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever once as she ran at the Gem Maiden. [TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL!] Symbol scanned her left glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author as she pulled the left fist back. [ADVANCE C TIER SPELL!] She threw her fist up in an uppercut, which the Gem Maiden avoided with ease, slashing her across the chest plate in the process.
Symbol did not react to the pain as she pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever twice. [TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL!] She took another slash as she scanned her left glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [ADVANCE B TIER SPELL!] Both of Symbol’s elbows were covered in yellow magical energy that leaked out of the rectangles on her forearm guards. She vanished in a yellow blur, appearing behind the Gem Maiden, Symbol smashed her left elbow into the back of the Gem Maiden’s head.
The Gem Maiden rolled with the blow and swept Symbol’s legs out from under her before punching her in the gut as the Kamen Rider fell over. Symbol flipped back to her boots as she pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever three times. [TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL!] Symbol scanned her left glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author as she pulled back both of her fists. [ADVANCE A TIER SPELL!] Symbol slammed both of her fists down towards the Gem Maiden, punching her in the stomach and sending her shooting back with sparks coming from the impact point.
Symbol jumped into the air and pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever four times. [TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL! VERY NICE!] Symbol scanned her left glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [ADVANCE S TIER SPELL! THE BEST!] Raging yellow magical energy covered Symbol’s right arm as she came down and slammed it into the ground, making a shockwave of yellow magical energy shot outwards towards the Gem Maiden.
Only for her to jump behind the fallen crane and let it take the damage for her. Then the Gem Maiden ran forwards and slashed Symbol across the chest plate with her sword before slashing upwards. Symbol hit her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever once. [TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL!] Then she scanned her left glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [ADVANCE C TIER SPELL!] The rectangle on the back of Symbol’s left forearm guard emitted yellow magical energy that was gathered into her right glove as Symbol unleashed an uppercut that fired a beam of yellow magical energy.
The Gem Maiden dodged and kicked Symbol in the back of her knee before spinning around and slashing her across the backplate. Sparks flew as Symbol pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever twice. [TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL!] She scanned her left glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [ADVANCE B TIER SPELL!] Yellow magical energy was emitted from the rectangle on the back of Symbol’s right forearm guard as she gathered it around her elbow and spun around, striking the Gem Maiden across her jaw with her elbow guard.
Then Symbol pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever four times. [TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL!] She scanned her left glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [ADVANCE A TIER SPELL!] The orbs in her shoulder pauldrons emitted yellow magical energy that gathered around Symbol’s gloves. She threw out a double punch, only for the Gem Maiden to dodge and slash her across the chest plate once more.
Symbol hit her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever four times. [TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL! VERY NICE!] Then she scanned her left glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [ADVANCE S TIER SPELL! THE BEST!] A storm of yellow magical energy particles gathered around Symbol’s right fist as she pulled it back and slammed it into the ground, sending out a shockwave of yellow magical energy that the Gem Maiden cut through with her sword.
Symbol hit her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever once more and scanned her left glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL!] Then she scanned her left glove over her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [ADVANCE C TIER SPELL!] The rectangle on the back of her right forearm guards emitted yellow magical energy as Symbol punched forwards, firing a beam of yellow magical energy that the Gem Maiden, closing the distance and charging her sword with red magical energy. She slashed Symbol across the chest plate, releasing a storm of sparks that caused a lot of damage to Symbol’s body in the process.
The Gem Maiden understood that Symbol was moving on a set of actions, that Symbol was no longer in command of her body. Now that the Gem Maiden knew what those actions were, Symbol had no chance in this form.
Speaking of which, Symbol pressed her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever twice. [TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL!] She scanned her left glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [ADVANCE B TIER SPELL!] The rectangle on the back of Symbol’s right forearm guards emitted yellow particles that gathered around her elbow. Symbol vanished in a yellow blur and appeared behind the Gem Maiden, about to smash her elbow into the Gem Maiden’s jaw. Only for the Gem Maiden to dodge it as her body glowed red and kick Symbol in the bottom of her helmet, sending Symbol flying into the air.
While in the air, Symbol recovered and pressed down on her Wizard Driver’s left Shift Lever three times. [TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL!] She scanned her left glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author. [ADVANCE A TIER SPELL!] Yellow particles leaked from the rectangles in the centre of Symbol’s shin armour and forearm guards. The particles from her forearm guards wrapped around her gloves as the particles from the shin armour formed into a disk-shaped platform. Symbol kicked off the platform and went shooting down, she slammed her fists into the ground, cracking it as the Gem Maiden had dodged. The Gem Maiden charged her right boot in red magical energy and kicked Symbol in the chest plate. An explosion ignited on contact and Symbol was sent shooting through the air, she slammed into a crate in a massive explosion.
Symbol weakly got out of the crate and pressed her Wizard Drive’s left Shift Lever four times as the Gem Maiden charged a massive amount of red magical energy into her sword. [TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL! VERY NICE!] Symbol scanned her left glove across her Wizard Driver’s Hand Author as the Gem Maiden was covered in red magical energy. [ADVANCE S TIER SPELL! THE BEST!] Symbol’s left glove was covered in a storm of raging yellow magical energy.
The two of them charged with Symbol jumping into the air and coming down towards the Gem Maiden, who vanished in a red blur as Symbol’s fist slammed into the ground. A massive shockwave of yellow magical energy was unleashed that roared through the air, missing the Gem Maiden, which charged towards Symbol and slashed her across her stomach, leaving a glowing red line.
Sparks flew from Symbol as micro explosions went off around her before she was engulfed in a giant explosion.
When the smoke cleared a heavily injured Sunset Shimmer Sparda was seen, falling to her knees before being pulled up by the Gem Maiden.
Blood stained Sunset’s clothes as all of the damage she had taken as Kamen Rider Symbol was transferred over to her human form. Her body was covered in deep cuts and harsh bruises.
She looked up as the Gem Maiden raised her sword to deal the final blow.
Sunset’s vision grew dark, spots appeared in her eyes as they closed.
Right before she lost consciousness, Sunset heard a pair of mechanical voices and saw two familiar outlines slash a glowing X through the Gem Maiden.
The final thing Sunset heard before going to sleep was the sound of the Gem Maiden exploding.
Unknown amount of time later
Sunset came awake with a gasp and shot up in the bed she was in before gasping and clutching her side in pain. “Argh! That hurts!” she growled out. She looked down and saw that her chest, right leg, right forearm, neck and left hand were all wrapped tightly in bandages.
“It should do,” commented a familiar voice from the door.
Sunset looked over to see Vergil standing in the doorframe. “What do you mean?” she asked as she tried to get up. “If that is how strong all Gem Maiden’s are, then I’m not looking forward to fighting anymore of them!” shouted Sunset as her body started healing, just making the pain even worse.
“They are not,” replied Vergil. “That was a seventh rank Gem Maiden.”
“Meaning?” asked Symbol.
“That she could have fought Wiseman and had a good chance of winning,” replied Vergil plainly.
Sunset stopped and stared at her brother. “You're serious?” she asked him in shock.
“As a heart attack,” replied Vergil.
Sunset sat back down in shock. “Huh, I don’t feel so bad about losing that fight anymore,” she commented.
Vergil’s face softened. “We all lose at some point in life Sunset. What matters is that you held on long enough for Dante and me to get Kate’s life force clone to safety and then come back for you.”
“Speaking of which, how is Kate?” asked Sunset.
“She will be fine,” replied Vergil. “Both she and Dante are tired from remerging the life force clone into Kate. But that will be solved with its good night’s sleep for Dante and a few days of sleep for Kate.”
“So what do we do now? I mean, we have to attack Wiseman in his HQ now,” question Symbol.
“Yes,” replied Vergil. “But thankfully, Kate retained all of the memories of her life force clone. Including the layout of Wiseman’s headquarters,” explained Vergil with a sinister smirk on his face.
“That's great!” beamed Sunset.
“Yes, it is,” replied Vergil.
“I’m sensing a but,” stated Sunset as her beaming face turned into a frown.
“But, those memories include the torture,” explained Vergil.
“Poor Kate,” muttered Sunset.
“I’m going, to be honest, Sunset,” Vergil knelt down next to her sister’s bed. “It is unlikely that Kate will very be able to function as a normal person again,” explained Vergil.
“Are you going to do it?” asked Sunset.
Vergil looked down, not saying anything.
Sunset saw tears start to leak from his face.
