Wahoo! I felt like a new bro! ...Where was I? There's ponies everywhere! Was this a dream? No, it couldn't have been. That battle and the resulting explosion couldn't have sent me straight back to Pop Star.
This little brown colt with a propeller beanie (Cappy told me that was the kind of hat) rushed over to me from inside a nearby house, his propeller spinning wildly. "Look mom! It's really him! And I healed him with one of his green mushrooms!" No wonder I felt amazing. The little guy somehow knew to feed me one of my 1-Up Mushrooms!
An older, lighter-colored mare came outside, and she seemed pretty calm. "At this point, I'm not all that surprised that Mare-io is here." Mare-io? I guess that's how they pronounce Mario in this place. "After all, that pink ball with the big appetite somehow got here a couple days ago and saved Equestria from that shapeshifter and the wizard."
I asked, "Pink ball? Do you mean Kirby, the same Kirby that my friends and I teamed up with to defeat Void Termina, the Dark Lord?"
The little colt replied, "The very--wait, you teamed up with Kirbay to defeat the Dark Lord?! The one from Kirbay's Stellar Friends?! No way!"
"Yeah, but I don't remember much after we escaped the battlefield, except for a big chunk of something. After that, I just woke up here. Thanks for reviving me, little guy!"
"No problem! My name's Button Mash!"
The mare said, "My name is Cream Heart, and I'm Button's mother."
I shook each of their hooves. "Nice to meet you two. By any chance, do either of you know if Planet Pop Star is near this planet? I'd like to at least get there."
Button replied, "Sorry, but I have no idea if Pop Star is anywhere near Equestria. I thought it was just imaginary because it's from a video game."
Cream Heart added, "I agree with Button Mash. We don't know about where Pop Star is, but maybe somepony else can help you get home. May I suggest going to Canterlot to speak with the princesses?"
I smiled. "That sounds like a good idea, Cream Heart. But I don't know where Canterlot even is."
"I can take you, sir." An armored Pegasus came to us. "By any chance, might you know of this Kirby?"
"Of course I do. Do you need him for something?"
"The princesses need all foreign creatures who know Kirby to meet at their castle. Get on."
"Okie dokie. Let's-a go!"
Not too far away, a pink pony was surprised. "Spontaneous front left hoof stomp? That's new. Maybe somepony said something I often say."
