Strange Meetings

Twilight smiles at Spike as they land, “Alright, Spike, I want you to go in the library and stay there.”

Spike tilts his head, “Really?”

She smiles and nods, “Has to be organized, probably. Besides, I can take care of everything else.”

Spike shrugs, “Alright then, if you say so.”

With that complete, Twilight turns and levitates down the road. Ponies all around smile and wave, not noticing the levitation. Twilight’s cloak raises itself, and waves back to all of them. But, Twilight herself doesn’t have time to spare on them. She’s going to meet the time disturbance that is walking down the road towards the town.

At least, that is what she planned to do. That is all stopped by a high pitched voice from behind her, “You!”

Twilight creates a magical circle around her hoof as she hears hoof steps charging closer. At the last second, she spins around and meets a dagger with the magic. She’s met, face to face, with one of the time discrepancies. She smiles at the pink pony, “Me?”

Pinkie holds the dagger firmly, “Thirty minutes, sorcerer! You made me fall for thirty minutes and got away without a scratch!” She smiles, “How about I make you fall into Hel?”

Twilight smiles, and forms a portal below Pinkie’s feet, and one above her head, causing her to start to fall rapidly. Twilight smiles, “You know, a magician never likes to use the same trick, but that one seemed to work so well last time. Let’s hear an encore and maybe we’ll go for an hour!”

Twilight thinks all is fine, until Pinkie stops herself with a hoof catching the ground. She pulls herself out of the portal, and back onto the ground, “Do not think that will work on me. I am stronger in this body then I ever would be in my old!”

Twilight backs up a bit, and let’s her cloak carry her further into the air, “You aren’t the one who can fly. I don’t see wings or a horn on that.”

Pinkie smiles, “You underestimate me, you underestimate this body.”

Pinkie Pie’s hair starts to spin rapidly, spinning like many blades. After a second of spinning, she starts to lift off the ground, and charges after Twilight with daggers grasped.

Twilight barely manages to dodge, the end of the cloak getting cut by one of the daggers. She has to dodge quickly as a bunch of daggers are thrown her way. They come too quick, though, and one barely catches her ear.

Pinkie draws another five daggers from her hair, only to be caught on the side by a web. She is stuck to the side of a building as a mare lands on the ground below, dressed in a red and blue Spidy-Suit. Fluttershy smiles behind her mask, “Hey, Doctor, sorry I was late.”

Twilight floats down to the ground, with a crowd of ponies all around, “Not bad, kid. I could’ve defeated him though.”

Fluttershy shrugs, “Looks like she got your ear pretty bad. What’d you even do to her?”

Twilight looks up at Pinkie, “Made him fall for thirty minutes. That’s Loki, if you couldn’t pick up on it.”

As Twilight says this, she receives a punch to the back of the head. She falls to the ground, but is stopped by the cloak. Both her and Fluttershy look behind them, to see Pinkie standing there, “You made a mistake, Strange. All I’m asking for is a punishment.”

Fluttershy looks back to the webs, only to find Pinkie broken out. Pinkie’s hair maintains it’s spin, keeping her aloft.

Fluttershy then has her shoulder tapped by Pinkie, “And you, you I can forgive. Just don’t do that again.”

Another Pinkie bounces the other out of the way, “Yeah, or we’ll crush you as well!”

Yet another Pinkie catches Twilight with a punch, “Our only concern is with the Doctor.”

Pinkie after Pinkie come from everywhere. Alleyways, windows, walls, sewers, everywhere. Twilight and Fluttershy start to be harassed by the Pinkies, and the ponies all around question their sanity.

But all the illusions suddenly stop as a pony approaches the scene. This pony carries a shield in her hoof, and throws it at the real Pinkie.

Pinkie manages to easily dodge the shield, smiling at Applejack, “Ah, you. Don’t you remember how easily I beat you last time? Why should this time be any different?”

Applejack catches her shield as it flies back to her. She looks up at Pinkie, “Because you saw what happened when we didn’t work together, Loki. Thanos won, we lost!”

Pinkie stops her smile, “He... won? That’s impossible, you should’ve been able to beat him!”

Applejack nods, “You are right, we should have. But we did not have anyone prepared, we lost some of our best allies before it even began! You, Hulk, Ant Man, Spider Man, Stark, we even didn’t have Thor until it was too late!”

Fluttershy speaks up, “Actually, Mister Stark, Strange and I were fighting Thanos as well.”

Another feminine, posh voice speaks, “But we didn’t fight together.”

Applejack turns to face the newcomer, and instantly recognizes her because of her glasses, “Banner?”

Rarity nods, “Yep. Nice to see you too, Steve, even if in an odd form.”

As soon as she is done speaking, a body falls from the sky. Rainbow Dash crashes into the ground, making a miniature crater, and an axe falls next to her. She raises out, and looks around, dazed, “Where is Loki? I know you’re behind this!”

Pinkie dives towards the ground, dismissing all the clones. She smiles at Rainbow, “I’m right here, brother.”

Rainbow looks at her oddly, “I thought you died? No, of corse, fake your death once again. But why are we in this illusion?”

Pinkie shrugs, “This isn’t an illusion. At least, not my illusion. And, no, brother, I actually did die.”

Applejack interrupts, “Perhaps we could talk about this somewhere more private?”

Pinkie nods, and proclaims, “All you in the audience will forget everything you heard since we started fighting!”

The mind magic does it work, and the ponies turn back to their jobs.

Twilight gets off the ground, bruises on her face, “Perhaps it’s time we can talk it out, for once?”

Rainbow nods, “Agreed. Where’s the nearest bar?”
