That's a new record: 2 faints in one day. Something told me Twilight would be out longer this time.
We were sitting around the Cutie Map with Twilight out cold on it when Meloetta asked, "Melele me mele me?"
"We could try that," Roborygon replied.
Meloetta pulled out a flute with a red and white ball in the middle. She played a slow, calming tune, and Twilight began to stir. "Wha... What's going on?"
Applejack said, "Ah just can't believe it, Twilight. We've met Discord, and you fainted once from seeing Kirby eat a bunch of apples whole and another time from seeing a unicorn turn into a strange critter."
"I know, but I didn't faint the second time from the two weird things. Kirby inhaled Queen Chrysalis whole! And he shot her out with enough force to send her all the way into Everfree Forest! I was keeping myself from fainting because we encountered her."
Roborygon replied, "Kirby is an intergalactic hero with incredible power and a stomach like a black hole. Of course he can launch Queen Chrysalis from here to Everfree!"
"He won't eat me, will he?" Spike asked.
"Kirby's a hero, but he has a big appetite. That's why he ate so many apples. You'll be safe as long as he's well fed. And even if he's hungry, he wouldn't eat his friends."
"We're already considered his friends?" asked Twilight. "But we don't even know him!"
"You're friends in his eyes. And if you want to research him, go right ahead. He's a real mystery that you'll never completely solve."
Twilight gave a determined grin. "I accept your challenge. But first, Spike, take a letter." I thought she'd never say it. "'Dear Princess Celestia, a strange pink creature appeared in Ponyville not long ago, claiming to have accidentally come while he and his friends were fighting a villain. He had the strength to launch Queen Chrysalis from my castle all the way to Everfree Forest! Also, two other creatures had come to my castle, apparently his acquaintances. I request your advice in approaching this predicament. Your faithful student, Twilight Sparkle.'"
Spike rolled up the letter and breathed green flames on it, turning it into smoke that flew away. Then he looked at me. "You're acting like you've seen me do that a hundred times."
Roborygon said, "He's seen a lot weirder. Ever fight a scary jester head with bat wings, or a disembodied bee head with butterfly wings?"
Twilight raised an eyebrow. "Where's the proof?"
"I caught it all on tape. I'll show you later." Yeah, my friends and I fought both Marx Soul and Soul of Sectonia together. And we won. "Right now, you'd better get to researching before Celestia responds!"
Twilight looked at Roborygon with wide eyes. "You know about Celestia?!"
"Research pays off!" Roborygon would have grinned if he had a mouth, but instead, his eyes closed proudly.
Twilight smiled from ear to ear. "You like to research?"
"It makes up the vast majority of my life! I have no need to consume food or drinks, due to being artificial, so I instead use knowledge as my breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Fun facts make up dessert." Roborygon laughed after the fun fact line. The rest of us also laughed.
"Something tells me we'll be getting along quite well."
I sure hoped Twilight and Roborygon get along well. They seemed to be made for each other! I wondered who would get along with my friends, until...
"BURP!" Spike burped out a fire that turned into a letter. "Let's see... 'Dear Twilight Sparkle, this pink creature sounds like quite the heroic character. Bring it and the others you mentioned to my castle, but keep a watchful eye on them. I recommend bringing your friends along. Sincerely, Princess Celestia.'"
Meloetta exclaimed in a singsong voice, "Melele mele!"
Roborygon replied, "I concur. It's time for a team-gathering montage!"
Twilight said, "Come with me, Pinkie Pie. We've got an assignment!"
"You got it!"
Gim said, "I'll come too, yo!"
"Rarity, we're heading to the princesses, and we need you to come with us."
"Of course, darling."
"Rainbow Dash, we've got a mission from the princesses."
"Count me in!"
"Who's that, Fluttershy?"
"This is Rocky." Rocky hugged me... or at least nuzzled me, since he has no hands.
"Can you bring him with us? We need to head to the princesses."
"Sure, Twilight. Let's go, Rocky."
