...Juh? I found myself in a dark forest. The place did not appear familiar. Suddenly, I was surrounded by a green aura as I was forcefully floated up to the face of a strange creature. It was a black quadruped, with a single horn on its head and Beetley-like wings. The peculiar thing about it was the number of strange holes around its body.

The creature menaced, "Who are you, and where are you from?"

I replied, "My name... is Hyness, and I come from Jambastion. I had traveled to the Divine Terminus to revive the Dark Lord, but a pink thing and its colleagues came and tried to stop me.  Zan Par attempted to stop them, but failed. She was beyond useless. As I explained my plans, the blue-robed boy cast a spell, sending me here. I cannot rebuild the Jamba Heart and rescue the Dark Lord from that prison when I'm here! If you're going to stop me from rescuing the Dark Lord, then I'll crush you! Do you understand me?!"

The creature calmly replied, "Of course I understand. You see, I am Queen Chrysalis of the Changelings, and I intend to conquer this land, which is known as Equestria! However, a group of ponies repeatedly stopped my efforts, and the Changelings betrayed me. You don't seem like the loving type, so I suggest a deal: You help me conquer Equestria, and I will find a way to return you to the Divine Terminus. Do you accept?"

I gave it some thought before shaking her... hoof. "I accept, and besides, loving is for the weak! It is of no use whatsoever! Why do you even bring it up?"

The queen's grin became a scowl. "As a Changeling, I feed on love, using it as life energy. However, the Changelings were corrupted by a certain pony, giving love rather than feeding on it, making me furious. Love is to be stolen, not given!"

She couldn't see, but I grinned. "I like the way you think, Queen Chrysalis. Do you have a plan?"

"First, I must see what you can do."
