"Good night Twilight." Twilight Friends wave goodnight to their friend.
"Goodnight Girls," she replies closing the door to her castle before falling apart on the floor. "That is the last time I let Pinkie Pie plan game night." She stretches her legs until a pop could be heard. She smiles as she walks to the kitchen door. Don't get her wrong. She cares for her friends very much, But sometimes they can be a hoof-full to deal with. Looking around to see if Starlight is nearby, Twilight quickly enters the Kitchen and puts a soundproof spell on the room.
Once her spell was complete she moves to the pantry and grabs a bag of mushrooms. This is a security measure that Twilight has been using ever since she was a little filly. She knows that no pony would dare take a second look at a bag of mushrooms. And even if they did, all they would see would be mushroom inside. But it is what is under the mushrooms that Twilight is after. She uses her magic to pull out a glass of milk from the fridge and moves to the table with her bag of secrets.
She pulls a plate from the cupboard and places it in front of her. Everything is ready. She reaches inside the bag of mushroom and pulls out a small bag of cookies. And these aren't just any cookies you see. No these are homemade Momma Chocolate chip cookies. The best around and they are all hers. Twilight remembers all the times she and her brother tried to hide the cookies from each other, but only to be scolded from mom because they almost burn down the house that one time.
Twilight chuckles remembering that. She takes out a cookie and was right away to eat it, when a brilliant idea came to her mind, as she puts the cookie down. She takes a step back and prepares herself. "You got this. It has been a while since the last time you have done this but you can do this." Once she was ready she charges at the table and jumps as her horn lights up the kitchen in bright white light. Once the light settles Twilight finds her horn stuck in the ground, as she pulls it out and takes a look around.
She squeals in delight as she sees that she is on top of her cookie now the size of the Cutie Map. What has happened was the Twilight didn't make the cookie grow in size, rather she has shrunken herself. Twiny jumps around the cookie chanting to herself, "Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes! Now then." She turns to face she delicious treat licking her chops. "Your MINE!" She jumps to devour the cookie, as small sounds of crunching could be heard across the kitchen.
Unknown to Twiny the sounds of her conquest was being heard by some small creatures in a hole at one of the corners of the kitchen. A little yellow creature with big ears, and has an antenna coming out of its head with a leaf at the end peeks out its hole to see what was the sound it was hearing so late at night. Normally such a small creature wouldn't dear to venture out of the safety of its hole so late at night but as the old saying goes 'curiosity killed the cat' it left the hole anyways. Closer and closer it came to sound it was hearing until it sees Twiny has eaten the cookie in half and is work on eating one of the halves. Cautiously the yellow creature walks to the other half of the cookie. Once it sees that the other creature is busy it tries to lifts the other half of the cookie, but couldn't for it was too heavy. The yellow creature put a hand where its mouth would be (Becuase it doesn't have one) and thinks until an idea came to its head as the leaf coming out its head stands up straight before it leaves.
Twiny was surprised that even at her small size that she could eat a quarter of the cookie before she couldn't eat anymore. She lays down on the plate on her side groaning in delight. "That was so good." She glares at the other half of the cookie that she didn't eat, "Just you wait. I will get to you once I am done with this side first." Just as Twiny was done saying that the cookie half was moving away from her. She panics and tries to plead with her snack not to leave her. "Wait I didn't mean it! Comeback... Huh?" Twiny stands up to see ten little yellow creatures carrying her cookie away. "What in the Equestria?" She walks to them wondering was to do, say, or something. "Ah Hello there." No response from them. "I am Twilight Sparkle who are you?" Not getting a response from them. Twiny can only conclude that they have no idea what is saying or that they communicate differently.
This is amazing! A new creature that I have never seen or read about before. Maybe Fluttershy will have a better chance of talking to them then she can. If I haven't shrunken down to eat my cookie I would have ever found out about them. But wait if this is a new species of incests or creature it is going to need to be research and documented. And I am just the pony for the job!
Twiny makes a quill and scroll appear before her as she writes down her observations. "Yellow bipedal creatures are ruffly around an inch tall. They have big ears on the side of the head and have small hand similar to dragons claws. They have small white eyes. There is an antenna like part coming out of its head with a small green leaf at the end." she takes a close look at one with a questionable look on her face. "Creatures does not appear to have a mouth. Reason for taking food away for consumption is unknown. Further research is required." Twiny continues her ramblings following the little creatures into their hole in the wall.
"The creatures..." Twiny lowers her scroll with an irked look on her face. "You know what I need to name you guys. Say creatures over and over is getting annoying. How about... no that is rude. Oh what about... no that is just silly. What about... GROWL why is it so hard to name something?!" It was then that Twiny once that she was alone. Her wings flared up in surprise. "AH! Where did they go?" Looking around she saw a glimpse of one of them going around a corner. Quickly she runs to rejoin them. As she turns the corner, she stops in awe at the sight before her. "Wow."
Before Twiny was a large circular room. There were four circles in the room, one of them was smaller than the others. The circle's each had different patterners in them. But one of them had something stand in it. It was a yellow round object standing on three legs with a white flower on top of it. Looking at the bottom, she can see a yellow ray of light with is where the little creatures are going to, but then Twilight started to feel the ground shaking. The little creatures notice it as well, before dropping the cookie to have a look around. A chill ran down Twiny spine as the sounds got louder until she jumps off the floor as something got behind her. The little creatures have already ran away from Twiny as she slowly looks behind to see another creature that she has never seen before.
It was much bigger than Twiny. It had no arms, talons for feet like a chicken, a large round red body with white spots, and a large mouth with four sharp teeth. Its eyes stare at Twiny with hunger, which she could only conclude that this was a predator of some kind. And...
"WOAH!" Twiny dodges out of the way of it trying to eat her. Flying into the air, Twiny can see that the yellow creatures have crawled up the legs on the yellow thing and went inside it. It must be some kind of home for them. However, Twiny stares in horror as the predator moves to the- "That's it I going to call you a yellow bub, and I will get back the little creatures inside."
The predator moves to the yellow bub and starts to attack it. Twiny was going to attack when the yellow bub white flower started snipping in a circle and took flight while bringing its legs inward, However, it didn't fly away. The yellow fly in a circle as the creature follows it. Twiny zaps the predator with a magic blast causing it to go after her now. Looking around Twiny notice that a there is a small glow of moonlight at the center of the room. Looking up Twiny can see a something is blocking an exit for the yellow bub to fly away.
"That must be why it is still here." Twiny then flew closer to the ceiling and blast it with magic clearing away the blockage. No sooner did she do that the yellow bub flew away into the night. Twiny just stares at it as long as she could before it disappeared. "Goodbye," Twiny glares at the predator. "And as for you."
If somepony was quite and listen to the night, they would have heard a tiny scream of something in the distance.
