“Come on Angel.” A butter-yellow pegasus said to a little snow white bunny “we need to get those carrots you love from Carrot Top.” Angel stomped his left leg *bum-bumbum* “I know Angel, but I didn’t have any anything you liked at home” *bumbum* “come on.” Approaching a stand with a carrot on the sign being mared by a yellow-ish pony with a green mane. “Hello Fluttershy!” Said the pony, “How many carrots is it this time?”
“Oh umm we need four carrots. *bumbum-bum* five I-I meant.”
“Ok Fluttershy.” Basket, 1 carrot, 3 carrots, 5 carrots. “Here you go. Five bits.”
“Ok here you go" Fluttershy said. At that moment a liitle filly came up to Carrot Top. "Hello Carrot."
"Oh hello, Scootaloo." Carrot Top said with suspicion. "What is it that you want now?"
"Me? Nothing." Scootaloo said, "just Applejack, she needs help with Apple Bloom sense she will be gone and Granny Smith and Big Mac will both be away."
'That... that can't be right.' Fluttershy thought, 'If it is... where is she going without telling us?'
"Oh my!" Carrot said, "Well ok Scoots tell Applejack I'll be there! When is it that she'll need me?"
"She needs you to be there in-" Scootaloo began thinking, "-about 20 minuets."
"Ok." Carrot Top looked over at Fluttershy, "Sorry Flutters I got to leave as you heard. But here's your carrots."
"I don't m-mind, you go help Apple Bloom."
*bum-bum-bumbum* "Sorry Angel this is all we get." *bum* "Come on Angel." Fluttershy and Angel walked away. "Ok come on Scoots," Carrot Top said turning to Scootaloo, "let's go." then they started walking to Sweet Apple Acres. "Come on Angel." Fluttershy whispered to Angel. "Let's see what's she's actually doing." Angel nodded.
Following far enough behind so they couldn't be seen, they watched as Carrot Top and Scootaloo walked into the Acres. Fluttershy with Angel on top, flew behind a tree to stay out of sight. At that moment, Scootaloo grabbed a thick branch on the ground and flew up behind Carrot and swung. Carrot Top was now unconscious. "*gasp*" Fluttershy gasped as Angel quickly putted his paw over Fluttershy's mouth to stop any more 'quiet' noises. Continuing watching, another pony showed up. It was Autumn Blaze. "Good job Scoots." he said looking at the unconscious body of Carrot Top. "Come on. lets get her to my house." With Autumn picking up the front and Scootaloo with the back then flying away.
Watching them flying away with Carrot Top's body, Angel removed his paw and Fluttershy gave a sigh. "Rainbow..." Fluttershy said, "you might think that it was good at the time, but in the long run... things won't turn out like you want." Angel looked up at Fluttershy with a look saying, 'What now?' *Bumbum* "Sorry Angel. Your carrot cake will have to wait." Angel nodded, "I'll be back later so I want you to head home." After saying that, Angel nodded and stomped his leg *bum-bum* and bounced his way home. "Don't worry Angel," Fluttershy said, looking in the direction Autumn and Scootaloo flew off in, "I'll be fine." and took off in the same direction.
Putting the jars off to the side, they congratulated each other in a job well done. "Well Scoots," I said, "another like her and we'll reach the quota in no time."
"Yeah!" Scoots replied. "I'm also glad of my excuse to get Carrot Top away from everypony."
"Yeah." I said, "Say sorry to Apple Bloom later though."
*KNOCK-KNOCK*
"*groan* I wonder who it could be." I said. Walking to the door, I looked out the little hole in it and saw a butter yellow pegasus. 'OH My Celestia!' I screamed eternally. 'Its Fluttershy! Ok Autumn. Don't let her see through you.' I calmed myself and opened the door for Fluttershy. "Oh h-hello Flutters. Wh-what brings you to my home?"
Waiting for on of them to open the door, one finally did. The pony who did was Autumn. "Oh h-hello Flutters. Wh-what brings you to my home?" Looking at him, then at Scootaloo, then at the room, I finally looked back at Autumn, "Hello Autumn, Scootaloo."
"Hi ya Fluttershy!" Scootaloo greated as if nothing was wrong. "So did Carrot Top make it ok Scootaloo?" Scootaloo, tried to think of something and something fast. "Uhhh what do you mean? Of course she made it ok." That was Scootaloo's reply. "I saw you knock her out," she then turned to Autumn, "and I saw you fly in and helped Scootaloo fly her away to here." They both got scared, but then Autumn got brave. "And what about it?! You can't do anything! The only thing you can do is stare us to death!"
"I know," Fluttershy said. "but I have no intention of actually doing anything. Just want to ask.... How long has Rainbow been teaching you and how long have ya'll been doing this?"
"Huh?" Autumn and Scootaloo 'huhed' "What do you mean?" Autumn asked.
"I mean, how long has it been since your first jar of blood? How long have you worked for the factory?"
"Huh... I-Huh..."
Meanwhile
"Hello Rainbow Darling." Rarity said. I turned around in midair (because I'm just that awesome!) to see what Rarity wanted. "Yeah Rarity? What is it?"
"Oh nothing Darling. I just wanted to say 'hello', and to ask where you are flying to with that container." Looking to the container in question, it was not a very big container, just big enough to hold the perfect amount of jars required for the factory. "Oh this?" I said, shacking the container, "its to carry the supplies for the Rainbow Factory from Autumn and Scootaloo."
"Oh those two little jewels? Why do they work at the factory at such a young age?' Rarity asked.
"Well Autumn works under me and Squirt works with Autumn. They both got their cutie marks for making rainbows." Rainbow explained. I look at the sun, and freaked out at its position. "UhhSorryICantTalkMoreForINeedToGoNOW!" Speeding off into the direction of Autumn's house and still carrying the crate, I landed infront of the door and barged in. "Hey ya Autumn. Stop what you're....." In the building was not only Autumn and Squirt, but Fluttershy was here too! "...doing..." 'What is she doing here?! Uhh ok ok. Be calm, be cool, like always.' "Oh hi Flutters! What brings you here?"
"Oh hey Rainbow Dash" Fluttershy said, looking at me 'I do not like the way she said that.' "I was just here, seeing that these two are actually part of the Factory, and thinking to myself, Rainbow needs to give me an explanation for why... two KIDS" she pointed to Autumn and Scootaloo, "are apart of the Rainbow Factory! AND both have a cutie mark for it!"
"Oh hehe, funny story actually..." I said, rubbing the back of my head. "Well Rainbow... I'm waiting." I shiver as she looked like she wanted to use the STARETM at me. "Oh well many years ago...."
Many years ago...
"Hello Rainbow" a pony said, looking over... it was BronyDanceParty, but we call him 'Dance' "Where's Fluttershy, Dash?
"Oh she's has a pet care now, so she will be unavailable for somethings. I said.
"So Fluttershy is a member of the Factory?" Scootaloo interrupted.
"Was." Fluttershy corrected. "I was, I'm not anymore."
"Hmm... I can't see it." Scootaloo said.
"See what Scootaloo?" I asked.
"Well I can't see Fluttershy, of all ponies, to have been a member of the Rainbow Factory."
"Yeah well it happened ok?" i said to Scootaloo. "Now let me continue."
"So is this the foal you've taken for 'Bring a Foal to Work'?" Dance asked. Looking to my side I saw a little colt, with very light-yellow body and fiery red mane and tail, "Yeah." I replied. "His name is Autumn Blaze."
"Yes well I don't care for his name." Dance said,with a frown, "All we care about is.......That he has a good time!" he said suddenly with a smile. Autumn looked around the place and said, "so this is where you make the rainbows?"
"Yes, yes it is," I replied. He turned to me, " It looks plain and boring. Not somewhere you make a colorful thing." Both me and Dance shrugged. "Hey Rainbow," Dance said, "How about you start the tour?" "I would love to. Hey! where did he go?"
"Now..." I said, :"I don't know what happened next since I wasn't there." Turning to Autumn, "But you do"
"And?" he said.
"And... it's your turn."
"Fine."
With Autumn
While those two were talking, I decided to slip away. 'Let's see what there is here that I can do.' I thought.
'Where is everypony? Isn't this supposed to be a busy place?' looking everywhere... I saw a pony, tied up to a metal table thing. "A colt?" he asked surprised that a little colt was here, "well it doesn't matter, Can you help me down? Quickly before anypony comes back!" On the floor in front of the mysterious pony was an interface. Walking over to the interface there were buttons. "I think its one of those buttons." the pony said. looking at the interface there were greens, blues, and more in the color of the rainbow. Not knowing this guy I pressed the full rainbow one, oh yeah i forgot the rainbow one, the rainbow one was big, bigger than the rest. Pressing it, the machine activated. "What? No! WRONG BUTTON!" the pony said, looking at the sawblade coming to ruin his day, and life. Watching the blade move forward, I began to feel strange. "AHHHHHH!Arrfjhh" The sound of death.
"That's when we came in." Rainbow said.
Rainbow Dash
Running in, I saw Autumn, in front of the console, and the pony we were saving for after lunch, already dead, and Autumn with the pony's blood. Watching the blood of the pony falling into the container below. Looking at the other worker, and getting into a huddle to decide what to do."Dance, what happens now?" somepony said. "Yeah. And what about that kid?" another said. "Calm down everypony," Dance replied, "Rainbow... you brought him here, its your call of what happens."
Everypony looked at me, with the exception of Autumn, who was looking at the rainbow making process. "Hmmm..." I said. "I got an idea. How about he join our ranks? He already proved to be natural, heck, he even got his cutie mark for it! Dance nodded, "Yes well, lets take a vote..." Looking to everypony he said, "Ok raise a wing if you agree to let him join us." Counting, there were forty-one out of the fifty-seven that raised a wing. Dance nodded. "Ok. Now raise a wing to kill him right here right now." The other sixteen hesitantly raised a wing. "Ok so its decided," I said "before the end of the day, Autumn will be a worker here. Now... everypony, Back to work!, and when the day is finished he will join in on it. Got it?" I said with a stern look. "YES MA'AM" I cringe, not from how loud it was, just at being called 'ma'am'. Walking over to Autumn, who was now watching us, "Ok Autumn," I said, catching his attention, "come on. Let's work with your cutie mark." Looking at his cutie mark, he nodded, "Ok 'Ma'am'". 'Of course you noticed' "Yes yes," I said rolling my eyes, "come on." Walking to the rest of the group to get Autumn situated into the group and explain to him what to do, we setted him off to mare the controls.
After a long day, we all got together and lead Autumn up front.
"That last song," i said, "was great, it also went through a change once, it was changed a little, but the manager didn't like that and fired, well, killed the pony, Celestia, that pony was a good pony." Feeling symphony for her and her family, I thought of the lyrics in my head. "Rainbow?" Autumn said, "not that I don't like to hear about the past but, aren't you forgetting something?" pointing out the window. Looking, I saw that the sun was almost down. "Crapcrapcrap!" I yelled, rushing to the jars and hurriedly started packing. "OkitwasnicetotalktoyouandtoseeyouagainFluttersbutyouknow,dutycalls!!!! BYE!" I yelled, flying through the door, not bothering to wait and open it, and setted off for the Factory, and another scolding.
