The ritual had already begun. 

There where 4 hench ponies on either side slamming their spears in a rhythm. There were stairs that led up to a pole with 12 golden rings of different sizes on it. 

The last ring was about to be placed on it to have eight centuries of unrelentless heat.

Ahuizotl laughed evilly 

“Drop the ring owie…..whatever your name is” 


the orange pony from daring’s house said racing to the monster with the four other ponies from earlier. 

“Place the ring…. Quickly!” ahuizotl said to two of the hench ponies.

The pink pony ran over grabbed the ring and was using it as a hula hoop. She then passed the ring before ahuizotl could grab it. 

“GET IT!” ahuizotl screamed to the hench ponies. 

The orange pony caught the ring then passed it before the hench ponies got even close. 

A hench pony intercepted it and ran off then passed it to ahuizotl but was intercepted by a yellow pegasus. 

Ahuizotl ran after the pony like a raging bull. 

The purple alicorn got the ring on her horn and ran then teleported away when two hech ponies where running at her


As the 5 ponies where running around daring do and the pegasus -who’s name was rainbow dash- sneaked around.

“Follow me!” daring do said to rainbow. 

The ring was still being passed around as rainbow and daring grabbed the top ring and tried to get off the pole. 


“help me get all these rings off!” daring do said to rainbow.


Five rings had been taken off and ahuizotl still didn’t have the one he needed.

“if we can remove the giant ring at the bottom the whole fortress will collapse!”

the two pegasi lunged at getting off the ring “was this your plan all along?” rainbow asked

"i had to find a way to get into the fortress” daring answered

“you did it on purpose?..... But…… but i thought” rainbow tried to say but she was lunging too much to finish

“i didn’t count on how heavy these rings would be though…..” daring said “i guess having a little help can be handy sometimes” 

rainbow smiled as she finished her sentence.

The final ring was still being thrown around when ahuizotl finally got the ring he laughed but as soon as he got the ring rainbow dash and daring do almost had the final ring off and the fortress was collapsing.

“STOOOOP HERRRRRR” ahuizotl yelled

“you can flap too y’know!” daring do said. 

“Ponies! Run! This place is going down!” rainbow yelled to her 5 friends. As soon as the ring came off the pole turned into sand. The fortress collapsed luckily everypony was out.


DARING DO! I WILL HAVE MY REVENGGGGGEEEE!!!!!!!” ahuizotl yelled after daring do.

Daring threw the ring and it broke into 13 pieces.

“I never would have done this without you rainbow dash” daring do said offering her a hoof bump rainbow dash gave her a hug instead. 

“By the way daring these are my friends twilight sparkle, pinkie pie, fluttershy, rarity, and applejack.” rainbow dash said introducing her friends to daring 

“thanks but i don’t have time for introductions! I have a book to finish!”




And so talancon was saved from eight centuries of heat thanks to daring do! And her friend. and partner. rainbow dash!
