Maud and Limestone waited until Spike had eaten a fair amount of his soup before slipping a pill in it, in no time at all he was happily curled up on the floor, his Temperature fluctuations becoming less extreme. Maud turned off the Heater and headed out with it while Limestone lay down with her brother, she reached into her bag and pulled out an old book, she opened it up and began reading to him.
"This is the story of Holders Bolder." She said in a soothing voice, Spike muttered and snuggled closer to her in his sleep, wrapping his tail around her as she read him the story.
Maud made her way down to ask Pinkie where to put the heater when she noticed something she hadn't before, most likely because of the fact she was in a hurry to help Spike, Marble had already noticed the problem and was in the middle of addressing it.
"Hm?" She asked sternly.
"I'd like to know that, myself," Maud said walking into the kitchen and putting the Heater down. "Pinkie, when was the last time you slept?" Pinkie looked at her sisters in silence.
"Well Spike got sick two day's ago, and didn't really sleep the night before since we were getting ready for the-"
"Hold up." Maud said as he did the quick math "Your telling me, you haven't slept in three days?" Pinkie looked back at Maud in silence before backing up behind the stove. "Pinkie don't you dare," Maud said as she and Marble moved forward, Pinkie moved at full speed and disappeared, her voice echoed from the front.
"Sugar Cube Corner doesn't close for until 10 PM!"
"Pinkie it's 11:30 AM." Maud called back "Close up shop and get to bed, don't make me get Limestone."
"Do that and you'll wake up Spike!" Pinkie called back. Maud looked over the counter.
"Hmm." Marble said.
"Touche indeed." Maud agreed. "Alright Marble, it's time for operation slip Pinkie a Sleeping Pill." the bell sounded and the two looked over to see Pinkie putting up a 'Be back soon' sign before booking it. "Let's move."
Pinkie moved full speed down the street.
"MorninBigmec." She slurred as she ran past. Big Mac watched as she ran past him face planted into a building, leaving a Pinkie mark on the wall, Pinkie walked in a confused circle before running back past Big Mac "MorningBig Mark!" She called again as she ran past. Big Mac blinked.
"What?" he asked in confusion, Pinkie rocketed down the street and ran into a Random building, she took a deep breath when a Familiar voice spoke up.
"Pinkie Darling." Rarity called out in greeting "Here to check up on your Dress?"
"Um...yes!" Pinkie said as she walked over to her friend, behind her Owlisious waved at Pinkie, he had his wings fully expanded and had loads of supplies on his back.
"Thank you so much for your help today Owlisious." Rarity said scratching his head."
"Anything for you Rarity," Owlisious said Dreamily as Rarity presented Pinkie her dress.
"Ooo!" Pinkie said in excitement as she looked at it "Just how I wanted it, Can I try it on?" She asked. Rarity Directed her to the fitting room.
Maud and Marble followed the Pinkie path and found the Pinkie shaped indent embedded in a wall.
"Dead end," Maud muttered. Big mac noticed the two strangers.
"Um, if you're looking for Pinkie..." the two turned as Big Mac pointed to the Boutique "...She's in there."
"Thanks," Maud called as the two ran past him and walked in,
"Why hello." Rarity greeted "I don't think I've had the pleasure of meeting either of you before."
"I'm Maud Pie, and this is Marble Pie," Maud said simply, Rarity's ear's shot up.
"Oh are you Pinkies sisters, Just between you and me I think the poor Dear hasn't been sleeping well, she looks like she just fought a Barn." Maud offered Rarity the pill.
"Could you get her to take this sleeping pill?" She asked.
"Why of course." Rarity said taking it in her magic, "Just give me one second." Rarity walked into her kitchen, taking a glass of Lemonade and overloaded it with Sugar before dropping the pill in and stirring before heading to the back, where Pinkie was packing up her Dress.
"Thanks, Rarity." She said happily "Well I better get going, I've got work to do." Rarity levitated the glass to Pinkie.
"Have A drink before you go." She asked, Pinkie happily took it and chugged it down.
"Thanks, Rarity, I'm..." Pinkie fell on her side and began snoring. Rarity lifted her up and gave her to Maud and Marble.
"Oh thank Celestia." Maud said, "I was afraid this would take all day." Maud waved and the two carried Pinkie out.
"What odd mares." Rarity said as she watched them leave. the two sisters carried Pinkie back to Sugar Cube corner, changing the sign to closed before locking the door and carrying Pinkie up to a room that had the word visitors on it, The two lay Pinkie in the bed before tucking her in, Marble rushed off and came back with a Glass of Water while Maud pulled out a book and began reading Pinkie Poetry, Marble climbed into one of the several mattresses in the room and bundled up in some Blankets, joining Pinkie in a nap. Maud noticed an odd noise and watched as Gummy waddled over one of the Mattresses and attempted to join Pinkie in bed and instead ended up on his back on the floor. without missing a beat Maud continued reading from memory as she set the book down, picked Gummy up, and placed him next to Pinkie, Gummy nuzzled Pinkie, who muttered happily in her Sleepy.
"Hm...Gummy." she pulled her pet to her and nuzzled him in her sleep.
"...and that's the story of Holders Bolder," Limestone said closing the book, Spike was deep in sleep, Limestone got up and extracted herself from his tale, Spike muttered at the Movement and rolled over onto his back muttering something Limestone leaned in and managed to catch his words.
"Best big sister ever." He muttered Sleepy, Limestone giggled at that and nuzzled him
"Best Little Brother ever." She whispered soothingly to him before leaving the room.
