Ancient Gardens - Bamboo Islands
Following their battle with Gaia EveRabbid, not only were our heroes rewarded 500 bits, they also received 40 purple balls. Twilight noticed this and asked Beep-0 what they were.
"My sensors show that these are Power Orbs." Beep-0 told Twilight.
"Power Orbs? What do they do?" Twilight asked.
"Well, while you three were battling Gaia EveRabbid, our mysterious friend has sent me an update, giving you all access to the Skill Tree."
"Skill Tree?" Fluttershy asked.
"It's a system that allows you all to upgrade your skills for battle, and the Power Orbs are able to unlock them. You can access it at the Battle HQ at any time."
"Bwaaaah…" Rabbid Rarity and Rabbid Fluttershy said in amazement.
"Now since there are 4 of us and 40 Power Orbs, I say we each get 10 for now." Twilight told the others who agreed with her.
Beep-0 pulled up the Battle HQ and everypony looked at their individual Skill Trees, which allowed them to upgrade their movements, attacks, techniques, and other skills.
Twilight decided to get what is known as a Stomp Jump, where after being given a Team Jump, Twilight can stomp on an enemy's head and land somewhere nearby.
Fluttershy chose to get a secondary weapon called a Sentry, where she can send out a little cart which will explode when it gets close to an enemy.
Rabbid Fluttershy received a new technique called Weaken, where she can send an energy that will weaken nearby enemies to do less damage.
Rabbid Rarity, unfortunately, didn't have enough Power Orbs to upgrade any of her powers. She screamed in disappointment.
"Don't worry, Rabbid Rarity. Like bits, Power Orbs are rewarded after a certain number of battles. Just save bits and Power Orbs and spend them when you feel it's time." Beep-0 explained to Rabbid Rarity and she felt better a little bit.
Beep-0 turned off the Battle HQ and everypony continued down the path to a nearby bridge, where they saw 2 Rabbids stuck in bamboo, but didn't seem to mind it.
"You've got to admire their dedication to hiding. They look VERY uncomfortable." Beep-0 said.
"Poor Rabbids." Fluttershy reacted in seeing this. "Should we help them?"
"I think they'll be fine." Beep-0 told her.
They went past the Rabbids and across an open area where they saw some other Rabbids rolling around on a giant lily pad.
"You know, you COULD help us save Equestria instead of just lounging around... Hello?" Beep-0 tried saying to them, but they didn't listen.
"Don't worry Beep-0, as long as we find everypony else, we'll save Equestria." Twilight told him.
"You're right, Twilight. You guys... just continue whatever it is you're doing. You seem fine." Beep-0 told the Rabbids as the group continued down the path, but stopped as they once again saw the giant Block Tower way out in the distance.
"It's amazing that huge tower is only made up of building blocks." Twilight told the others. "And you said those blocks were from where you came from, Beep-0?"
"Indeed, but they were normal sized before the Rabbids entered Equestria. The SupaMerge must've had a different effect on the blocks and all the other items that were brought here, causing them to grow enormous." Beep-0 explained to the group before turning his attention back towards the Block Tower. "But still, it's interesting to see how much our arrival has affected your world."
"Those two seem to think so." Fluttershy said as she pointed towards a couple of Rabbids who were sitting on top of a nearby boulder, looking at the Block Tower in the distance.
The team watched as one of the Rabbids started to slide down the side of the rock, but was quickly able to climb back up and rejoin his friend before completely falling off. However, he began to slide back down again.
"A good reminder to never sit on the side of a hill without a door wedge under your butt." Beep-0 joked.
"Don't make fun of him, Beep-0. He doesn't know any better." Fluttershy told the robot.
"Don't worry Fluttershy, I'm just joking around around. He'll figure something out sooner or later, but for now, let's just keep moving."
As the one Rabbid climbed back up the boulder once again, the heroes entered the first battlefield, which was only across a nearby bridge that was right next to the giant rock.
Defeat All - 5 Ziggies, 1 Hopper
Twilight noticed that Fluttershy was very nervous.
"What's wrong Fluttershy?" Twilight asked her.
"I'm sorry, but I don't think I should do this. It's like I'm fighting Angel's family."
"FLuttershy, listen. Rabbids are very different from bunnies, they're a lot more mischievous. Beep-0 claims that these ones are a little more chaotic than usual , and that's only because they are corrupted by the Megabug. When we defeat them, they're freed from its control and they're saved. Do you want to save them?"
"Yes, I do."
"Then let's get out there and save them!"
Rabbid Fluttershy moved to a partial cover and tried to blast a Ziggy, but she missed.
Fluttershy moved to a partial cover on the right and blasted the same Ziggy. Her weapon triggered a Bounce effect that sent the Ziggy flying out of the battlefield, defeating him.
Twilight got a Team Jump from Fluttershy and stomped on another Ziggy and landed nearby. She tried to blast the Ziggy, but she missed. She then activated her Hero Sight.
Rabbid Rarity got a Team Jump from Fluttershy and landed next to Ziggy, where she defeated him by blasting him.
2 of the Ziggies in the higher area entered a pipe and moved down to hide behind full and partial covers, with one of them being shot by Twilight's Hero Sight. They blasted Twilight.
The remaining Ziggy and Hopper remained in the high area and moved behind full covers, but they weren't in range to shoot any of the heroes.
Rabbid Fluttershy got a Team Jump from Twilight and landed next to the full cover the Ziggy was behind. She then blasted him.
Twilight dashed the Ziggy, which finished him off, got a Team Jump from Rabbid Fluttershy, stomp on the other Ziggy, and defeated that one by blasting him.
Rabbid Rarity got a Team Jump from Twilight and landed near the Ziggy in the high area, which she blasted.
Fluttershy moved to a partial cover that was near the pipe, but she wasn't in range to blast the enemy Rabbids.
The Ziggy dashed Rabbid Rarity and moved behind a different full cover, where he attempted to blast Fluttershy, but missed.
The Hopper then moved behind a partial cover, but he was out of range to blast the heroes.
Rabbid Fluttershy entered the pipe, dashed the Hopper and went behind a nearby full cover, where she blasted the Hopper.
Rabbid Rarity dashed the Ziggy and blasted him, defeating him.
Fluttershy entered the pipe and dashed the Hopper, then defeated him by blasting him, which ended the battle.
The heroes cheered as they completed the battle.
"I'm glad that we've won, but I still feel bad that we had to fight those poor Rabbids." Fluttershy told the team.
"Bwah. Bwah Bwa-Bwa Bada." Rabbid Fluttershy told Fluttershy as she went up to her to pat her on the back.
"Oh, um... thank you." Fluttershy told her as she patted Rabbid Fluttershy's head.
"Do you understand what they're saying Fluttershy?" Twilight asked her.
"I'm sorry, but no. This is unusual because I'm able to understand what animals are saying."
"That maybe because they aren't creatures from Equestria." Beep-0 theorized. "I'm able to translate a little, but not all."
"Did you understand what Rabbid Fluttershy said?" Twilight asked Beep-0.
"I... think she said not to worry about it."
"Well, either way, we should keep moving. That SupaMerge Rabbid isn't going to save himself." Twilight told everyone.
The group walked out of the battlefield where Rabbid Rarity saw something.
"Bwa-Bwaah!" she said and pointed at another one of Pinkie's cupcakes.
"Um, it that one of Pinkie's cupcakes? What's it doing out here?" Fluttershy asked.
"I don't think it matters why it's here. However, when you all eat it, it returns some of your energy." Beep-0 explained. "Plus, it's Pinkie, that pony is a mystery."
"True." Fluttershy agreed as she started eating the cupcake with the rest of her friends, healing them from the damage they received from the last battle, just in time for the next one.
However, Twilight and her friends stopped when they saw a huge Timberwolf sleeping in the middle of the battlefield!
"If my readings are accurate, that's a Timberwolf." Beep-0 explained. "It may be asleep now, but as soon as it senses our presence it will wake up eager to bite us!"
Our heroes gasped when they heard this.
"Or one of those enemies. Really, a Timberwolf doesn't discriminate - it'll just zero in on the closest target. The good news is that the Timberwolf will only charge once we have completed our turn."
Defeat All - 4 Hoppers, 1 Ziggy (Obstacle: 1 Timberwolf)
Sure enough, as soon as the heroes entered the battlefield, the Timberwolf woke up and targeted a Hopper.
Rabbid Fluttershy moved closer to the Hopper, being careful in not letting the Timberwolf target her, and blasted the Hopper.
Fluttershy dashed the same Hopper and hid behind a nearby partial cover. She then blasted the Ziggy, with her weapon triggering a Bounce effect which defeated him.
The Timberwolf then targeted another Hopper that was close by.
Twilight dashed the second Ziggy and moved behind his cover. She blasted him then activated her Hero Sight.
Rabbid Rarity got a Team Jump from Rabbid Fluttershy and landed behind a full cover that was out of the Timberwolf's sight. She attempted to blast at a different Hopper, but missed.
The Timberwolf ran up to the Hopper Twilight blasted an bit him, which defeated him.
The Hoppers and Ziggy moved closer to the heroes, with the Timberwolf targeting a Hopper. The Ziggy and the other Hopper manage to blast Rabbid Rarity.
Twilight gets a Team Jump from Rabbid Fluttershy, stomps the Ziggy, and land on the other side of his cover. She finished him off by blasting him.
Rabbid Rarity blasted the Hopper near the Timberwolf and got a Team Jump from Twilight, landed right next to the second Hopper.
Fluttershy got a Team Jump from Rabbid Fluttershy and landed next to the Hopper next to Rabbid Rarity and blasted him.
Rabbid Fluttershy moves closer to the same Hopper and defeats him by blasting him.
The Timberwolf rans up to the remaining Hopper and bites him, defeating him and ending the battle.
The heroes cheered as they ran out of the battlefield before the Timberwolf would see them. They were healed, rewarded 400 bits and 40 Power Orbs.
"That was a close one." Twilight said as she tried to catch her breath.
"Yeah, I'm glad that Timberwolf didn't attack us." Fluttershy agreed.
"Let's be careful, team. If there's one Timberwolf, there's bond to be another." Beep-0 told everyone.
"He's right. Timberwolves travel in packs. Let's keep going." Fluttershy said.
The team made it to a dock that had a series of Rabbid cannons. They all blasted through a couple of them, but stopped in an area where they saw 3 Rabbids bouncing on a giant sponge.
"(Shudder) I don't want to tell them what that sponge was used for back home - it'd ruin their fun." Beep-0 shuddered when he saw this.
"Relax, it's not like it flipped burgers and laughed a lot." Twilight joked.
The team enter one more cannon and continue down the dock, where they now saw a giant bubble wand.
"That was an eight-inch bubble wand in our world" Beep-0 explained. "Now, it's eighty feet! We'll have to bring over a burrito next time."
"I have now idea what a burrito is, but I'm sure that fillies will enjoy playing with that bubble wand." Fluttershy said.
The group pass through the wand and end up in a shaded area with a statue of a Rabbid sitting on a stump reading a newspaper.
"There's a tiny plaque here from the artist that reads, 'Rabbid Building a Log Cabin'. I wonder what that means?" Beep-0 told everyone.
"I thinks there's some kind of metaphor here." Twilight suggested.
"You're probably right."
They all leave the shaded area and found that they are now really close to the Block Tower. They begin heading towards it, feeling that's where they needed to go.
