//------------------------------// // The story // Story: Party With Pinkie 2 // by ApologeticTrixie //------------------------------// Pinkie Pie woke up in The Princess’ castle next to Rarity’s bed. She’d had a strange dream then night before and was kind of disturbed by it. She’d dreamed a dark shape was sitting in the fog, dark and lonely. Pinkie blinked confusingly. Why would she have that dream? GeaGea kept running through Pinkie’s mind. Rarity opened one eye, then they both opened, bright and blue. “Pinkie, I didn’t have a nightmare! The spell Princess Celestia used on me worked!” Her stylish friend was so happy that Pinkie didn’t want to spoil her cheerfulness by saying that the nightmares might have gone to her instead. “Great, Rarity!” Rarity nodded. “I feel so terrible for ruining Gummy’s second birthday party, Pinkie. I know you wanted it to be very special. Is there any way that I can make it up to you?” Pinkie shook her head, “You didn’t ruin it! I promise that you had nothing to do with it. I can always plan a better one anyway.” Rarity looked relieved and Pinkie sat down to think. What other reason could have given her such a terrible nightmare? Not that it was a nightmare, but Pinkie was worried that it could get worse. Just as she began to really worry, Princess Celestia came in. “How were your dreams, Rarity?” Pinkie walked out so she didn’t have to hear her friend’s answer. And she almost ran into her four other friends. Twilight was the first to speak. “How is Rarity?” Pinkie Pie looked up. “Go check for yourself!” Fluttershy, the element of kindness, said, “Pinkie, is your hair a little…flat? Is something wrong?” Twilight ran her hoof through it. “It IS getting straight! Pinkie, what’s wrong?” “N-Nothing. At least I think it’s nothing. I think I’m going to go plan Gummy’s after birthday party now!” She tried to sound like her boistery cheerful self but her mind was racing with sadness and worry. Had that terrible GeaGea curse come to her? “Oh, I hope not!” Pinkie said to herself. She found her way to SugarCube corner and ignored Mr. and Mrs. Cake’s welcomes. Pinkie looked in the mirror and stared at herself. Fluttershy and Twilight were right. Her usually bouncy hair was getting straight. And her eyes had lost color. She knew her friends were expecting a party later this week so Pinkie got to planning. But she had to stop soon after because no fun party ideas would come to her head. Pinkie knew she should tell Celestia but she didn’t know for sure if there was some kind of monster running through Pinkie’s mind yet. A knock on the door brought Pinkie out of thinking. “Twilight!” Pinkie flew open the door. “Twilight! I think Rarity’s nightmares have come to me instead! I had a bad dream last night!” Twilight looked surprised. “No, Pinkie Pie! Celestia told me to warn all the ponies in Ponyville to stay inside! Queen Promises is wrecking havoc around Equestria. She is a demon princess, Pinkie. Her hair is red. Like the blood of ponies. And her pelt is gray, like the unknown fog. Pinkie Pie, promise me you’ll stay inside?” Twilight must not have heard me about Rarity’s nightmares! “Twilight. I think Rarity’s nightmares have gone to me!” Twilight jumped up. “Oh dear, Oh dear, oh dear. I’ll teleport you to Princess Celestia’s alone. I have to finish this job.” “Pinkie Pie.” Celestia greeted Pinkie with a nod. “Why have you come?” “I think I have Rarity’s nightmares!” Celestia looked worried. “Oh dear. Another. So soon? It’s only been a day. Okay, I’ll us my spell to get rid of it from you, but Luna told me what’s causing it. It’s Queen Promises.” Celestia shot the same spell that cure Rarity out at Pinkie and instantly her hair went bouncy again. “You asked Princess Luna though right?” “Yes. She was Nightmare Moon. And she yelled at me. She said GeaGea was a terrible monster created by something terrible itself.” Celestia looked out her window as the sky was blackened. “Something terrible is happening here.” Pinkie Pie woke up in SugarCube corner. “I can’t leave this place.” she muttered. “I guess I’ll just go back to sleep.” . . . . . . .. . .. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .. . . .. . . . . . . . . . . . . . .. . . . Pinkie was bouncing in her world. Through a world of parties, cakes, and balloons. Then she saw Princess Luna crying in the grass. “Luna! What’s the matter?” Luna shot her head up. “GeaGea isn’t Queen Promises. GeaGea lives in the Everfree forest! But GeaGea isn’t important! Promises is the one you have to get rid of. Pinkie Pie, do it! The element of Laughter is the only one that can get rid of the Element of Sadness.” Luna tipped her head sideways. “Can I transport you to her? Please? All you need is a tough of dark moon magic, which I have and your laughter necklace. Please? And you will get rid of her like that!” Pinkie Pie didn’t want to agree. But her mind knew it was the right thing to do. “I will do it.” Pinkie pie woke up in the world of Laughter and sadness. The balloons were black and red. Half of it was light the other half was so dark you couldn’t see a thing. There were demons of unmentionable skies flying around. And the demons eyes were bloodshot red. “Queen promises! Where are you? I’m here to face you!” And there she was. She stepped out. Her hair was bloodshot red. And black. Her pelt was dark gray and her eyes were the worst. Their black stare. But Pinkie tried to shake it away. “I-I’m here to defeat you.” The queen laughed. A low and sad laugh. “Why?” “Because you’re causing sadness everywhere! You made me sad! And I’m the element of laughter!” Pinkie’s voice fell as she realized just how powerful her powers were then. “Well, Luna told me how to get rid of you.” She took her laughter necklace off and opened the red balloon on it. It unleashed powers of great size. Black and red bursts of light. It swirled around the evil queen as she screamed. It shattered her horn into pieces and melted her. “That’s what you get for trying to make me sad! And destroy Equestria!” Pinkie couldn’t wait to tell her friends how she’d defeated the queen.
