Ponyville - Castle of Friendship
In a wave of pixels, Twilight and her friends return to the Castle of Friendship. There they are reunited with Rarity, Princess Celestia, and Princess Luna.
"Twilight!" Rarity shouted as she ran over to her friend.
"Rarity!" Twilight shouted as she hugged Rarity.
The Princesses flew over to greet the group.
"Twilight! Thank heavens you're alright! It's so good to see you." Celestia said to her student.
"You've probably noticed this, but... Equestria's been torn apart! You have to do something, Twilight." Luna told her.
"Don't worry, we intend to." Twilight responded.
Rarity finished hugging Twilight, that's when she noticed the robot and 2 Rabbids standing right behind her. "Oh! Um... who are your new friends?"
Beep-0 moved closer to Rarity and the Princesses.
"Rarity, Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, I am Beep-0 - an autonomously intelligent scientific research and operational assistant." Beep-0 explained as he bowed to the Princesses.
"I see... And-" Princess Luna said, trying to process what he just said.
"We call this one Rabbid Fluttershy..." Beep-0 said as rabbid Fluttershy waved to everyone. "...and this is Rabbid Rarity."
Everyone saw Rabbid Rarity cross her arms and pout at the sight of the real Rarity.
"Er… he he. She's taking her cosplay a bit too seriously, I'm afraid." Beep-0 explained.
Rabbid Rarity went over to Rarity, smelled her, and glared at her. She circled around her, played with her mane for a second and let out a disgusted "Bwah." Rabbid Rarity went back over to our heroes and angrily glared at rarity again.
Rabbid Fluttershy laughed at this, then she pointed at something.
Everyone looked over and saw 2 Rabbids running with a plank of wood, with a third Rabbid in a hard hat on top of it. They bumped into Rabbid Fluttershy and the hard hat Rabbid complained at her.
"Yes, their friends are also quite er… spirited, as you can see." Luna told the group.
"It appears as if the Rabbids we freed from the Megabug's control have ended up here - and not worse for wear, either!" Beep-0 concluded.
"Megabug?" Twilight asked Beep-0.
"That's what I've decided to call the vortex, because it's a giant glitch in reality.
"Ok, that sounds pretty cool, actually!" Twilight said.
"You're right, Beep-0. The Rabbids keep popping in like you did." Celestia told him.
The Rabbids are hard at work building something, being monitored by 2 Rabbids wearing flat caps. Most of the Rabbids were just playing with their tools, actually.
"Oh, yes. they've been quite... busy." Luna explained.
"I wonder what they're building." Twilight said, finally noticing her castle. "What did they do to my castle?!"
The castle had Parasprites glued to it, as well as leaves and blocks. The Rabbids' Washing Machine was also sitting next to the castle, producing many bubbles.
"They're probably making the place feel more like home." Beep-0 explained to Twilight. "We should make them feel comfortable if they are going to stay in Ponyville."
"You're right, Beep-0. Speaking of Ponyville, did you find everypony who was sucked into the vortex?" Twilight asked the Princesses.
"Unfortunately, we have only found Rarity so far. But we will continue our search to make sure everypony gets home." Celestia told the group.
"It will take a while, but if we had help, it would go much quicker." Luna explained.
Just then some rustling came from some bushes nearby. Everyone saw 2 new Rabbids emerge, one was dressed like Celestia and was very graceful and cheery, the other one was dressed like Luna and was very sleepy and bored. The new Rabbids saw the group and immediately made their way over to the Princesses.
"Oh my! They do enjoy their cosplay!" Celestia exclaimed as she picked up Rabbid Celestia, who blushed in her hooves.
Rabbid Luna walked up to Luna and yawned, she then got comfortable and feel asleep.
"Yeah. They do enjoy their cosplay." Luna joked as she placed Rabbid Luna on her back.
"You know, Rabbid Rarity and Rabbid Fluttershy are helping us on our side of the adventure. Maybe these 2 Rabbids can help you find everypony else!" Beep-0 suggested.
"Yes, with more help, we'll find them all in no time!" Celestia told Luna.
"It is settled then, these Rabbids come with us!" Luna declared.
"Bwa-Bwaaah!" Rabbid Celestia cheered.
"Bwa-Bwaaah…" Rabbid Luna said in her sleep.
"Ah! Look over there!" Beep-0 told everyone, who looked over and saw a large, wooden, Rabbid cannon in the lower left area near the Castle. "These clever Rabbids have outfitted a cannon so that it can launch us back to the Ancient Gardens! This comes in handy, as our mysterious helper gave me the power to warp to the Castle of Friendship, and the cannons can send us back to where we were!"
"Good for you guys." Rarity told Beep-0.
"You're not coming with us, Rarity?" Twilight asked.
"Not yet. I feel I have to stay to help get these Rabbids... under control." Rarity explained as she gestured over to a group of Rabbids playing with a ladder.
"Understood." Twilight responded.
"But, don't worry. I will join you soon enough." Rarity assured Twilight and her friends. "But before you leave, you should take a look at this Battle HQ they have built. Apparently you can upgrade your weapons there."
Rarity pointed Twilight, Rabbid Rarity, and Rabbid Fluttershy over to the Battle HQ and using their bits, Twilight and Rabbid Rarity upgraded their blasters, which made them stronger. However, there weren't enough bits to upgrade Rabbid Fluttershy's blaster and she began to cry.
"Don't worry." Beep-0 told Rabbid Fluttershy. "We'll upgrade it when we get more bits."
This cheered Rabbid Fluttershy up as she posed with the blaster she currently had.
"Appreciate the enthusiasm!" Twilight told her. "I think it's time we returned to the Ancient Gardens! Who's with me?!"
Beep-0, Rabbid Rarity, and Rabbid Fluttershy cheered as they all made their way over to the cannon. On the way, they saw a Rabbid push his friend off a huge rock, then he quickly ran back up the back of it and pushed the first Rabbid off, and the cycle continued repeating. And they seemed to be enjoying it.
"I wonder how long they've been at it?" Beep-0 asked.
"Probably ever since they got here." Twilight answered.
As the heroes prepared to enter the cannon, they noticed that off to the side were 3 more Rabbids on top of a bigger boulder. 2 of them were acting like horses and trotting around the top of it in a race, while the other one was acting as the announcer and cheering for his friends as they raced.
"Down the stretch they come!" Beep-0 shouted, acting as if he was another announcer. "Snowball's Chance and Irish Rabbid are neck and neck, nose to nose! It's too close to call!"
"They might have heard of the Running of the Leaves race, and are training for it next fall." Twilight suggested.
The group waved goodbye to Rarity, the Princesses, and the Rabbid Princesses as they were shot back to the Ancient Gardens.
Ancient Gardens - Pollen Plains
The heroes safely landed back at the docks in the Ancient Gardens. They traveled along the path until they reached the first battlefield.
3 new Rabbid enemies wearing red masks and springs on their feet are in the middle of practicing Team Jumps of their own. One of them ends up falling off a nearby cliff and the other 2 reached down to pull him back up. These were Hoppers!
"Heck! A new breed of hopping enemies! Team Jump will prove invaluable here! Use it to gain the upperhand!" Beep-0 told the team.
Defeat All - 3 Hoppers, 1 Ziggy
"What's this?! Our pseudonymous sympathizer just sent me a system update!" Beep-0 shouted.
"What is it?!" Twilight asked, excited to see what Beep-0 can do now.
"From now, before combat begins, you can choose whether to leap headlong into the battle, or take time to carefully plan your strategy first, thanks to this new app called, er, TactiCam. Try it!"
Beep-0 then projected a map of the battlefield, showing the heroes' positions, and the enemies' positions. Rabbid Rarity and Rabbid Fluttershy were amazed by this, and Twilight used it to come up with a strategy.
Twilight ran to a center cover, and blasted the open Ziggy. She then gave Rabbid Fluttershy a Team Jump to a cover in a higher area, who then defeated the Ziggy, releasing the energy.
Rabbid Rarity attempted to do the same thing, but the Hoppers were too far away to get a proper shot.
The Hoppers used their Team Jumps to move around the battlefield, but since our heroes were behind full covers, they couldn't blast them.
Rabbid Rarity got down from her high area, dashed the closest Hopper to her, and blasted him.
Rabbid Fluttershy wasn't close enough to dash the Hopper near her, so she hid behind a partial cover and blasted him.
Twilight moved closer to Rabbid Fluttershy's Hopper, but she missed due to the 50% chance hit a partial cover gives you.
The Hoppers moved around again, and they blast Twilight and Rabbid Rarity.
Rabbid Rarity moved in to dash the Hopper that hasn't been hit yet, hid behind a cover, and blasted him.
Twilight finished off one of Hoppers by blasting and then dashing him.
Rabbid Fluttershy defeated the 2nd Hopper by getting a Team Jump from Rabbid Rarity, landing behind him and his cover, and blasting him.
The final Hopper blasted Rabbid Fluttershy and attempted to move away from the heroes, but he was defeated when Rabbid Rarity and Rabbid Fluttershy got a Team Jump from Twilight and took turns blasting him, ending the battle.
The heroes cheered as they completed the battle.
"This TactiCam thing will help us figure out our attacks better!" Twilight told Rabbid Rarity and Rabbid Fluttershy.
"Not only that, but it also gives us access to the Battle HQ! Now we won't have to go all the way back to your castle to get upgrades!" Beep-0 explained.
Upon hearing this, Rabbid Fluttershy took out her Bworb.
"Bwa ba. Bwah bwah baba." Rabbid Rarity told Rabbid Fluttershy.
"Yeah, we'll upgrade it soon, we promise." Twilight agreed.
The group made their way out of the battlefield and it didn't take long for them to enter the next one.
Reach Area - 3 Ziggies
"Beware!" Beep-0 suddenly shouted, surprising the group.
"What's wrong?!" Twilight asked.
"This area seems quiet, but my sensors detect the presence of LOTS of hidden enemies! It'll be impossible to defeat them all. Let's focus on reaching that safe zone at the end of the battlefield."
Everyone saw an area on the other side of the battlefield that was glowing yellow.
"As long as one of us reaches the safe zone, we win!" Beep-0 finished.
Beep-0 used the TactiCam to project a map of the battlefield. They had 2 choices: go straight ahead to the safe zone, or go through an area on the right to get to the zone.
"I say we focus on getting there through the right side, because there are more covers." Twilight suggested
"Bwa-Bwaaah." Rabbid Rarity and Rabbid Fluttershy agreed.
Twilight moved to a partial cover on the right and blasted one of the Ziggies.
Rabbid Fluttershy got a Team Jump from Twilight and landed near a full cover. She blasted the same Ziggy, defeating him.
Rabbid Rarity got a Team Jump from Twilight too, but was sent a little more to the right than Rabbid Fluttershy, not in range to blast the Ziggies.
The Ziggies moved to behind 2 covers and attempted to blast the Twilight and Rabbid Fluttershy, but missed.
3 sets of Rabbid ears burst from the ground, signaling that new enemies were about to appear.
Twilight entered a pipe and got a Team Jump from Rabbid Rarity, sending her to an area where she blasted one of the Ziggies.
Rabbid Fluttershy got a Team Jump from Rabbid Rarity, sending her next to Twilight, where she defeated one of the Ziggies.
Rabbid Rarity got a Team Jump from Twilight sending her to a farther cover, where she blasted the remaining Ziggy.
3 new Ziggies emerged and moved in to assist the other one. They all blasted at our heroes, hitting only Rabbid Fluttershy,
Rabbid Fluttershy ran to a nearby partial cover to give Twilight a Team Jump to a pipe that led to the safe zone. They both blasted 2 of the Ziggies, defeating one of them.
Rabbid Rarity blasted another one of the Ziggies and joined Rabbid Fluttershy behind a cover.
2 of the remaining Ziggies entered the pipe and they dashed and blasted Twilight. The other Ziggy stayed to try to blast Rabbid Fluttershy, but missed.
Twilight made a break for the safe zone. She made it, defeating all the Ziggies on the battlefield.
The heroes celebrated their victory, they all got healed, and were rewarded 400 bits.
"I've gotta admit, I never expected a battle like that one!" Twilight exclaimed.
"I suspect that there will be more kinds of battles in the future. So we'll need to be ready." Beep-0 told the group.
Rabbid Fluttershy held out her Bworb.
"Yes. We finally have enough bits to upgrade it for you." Twilight told her.
"Bwa-Bwaaah!" Rabbid Fluttershy cheered.
