It was a wonderful day in Canterlot High, students were walking around and talking to their crushes while blushing, asking them to the upcoming prom.
Among these students were Eight friends who looked to be around Fifteen, they were talking about the upcoming Prom with smiles, "looks like alot of people are going too", they looked around.
"Yeah, and it's obvious that I'm going with Button Mash, Apple Bloom is going with Tender Taps, Scootaloo is going with Rumble, and Diamond Tiara is going with Pipsqueak", one of the girls told them.
She had hair that was two shades of purple, a stripped shirt with a red jacket, long yellow skirt and boots.
"Don't forget about Spike and Silver Spoon Sweetie Belle, they still need a date to the Prom", that comment made the two blush, but the green haired boy with a Dragon designed shirt and jeans became nervous.
The group turned to him with smirks, "So, is there something you like to ask her", Scootaloo said while their rich friend that has glasses on turned to him with a smile.
"Please ask me", she thought.
"I uh", suddenly he saw his sister with her friends and their boyfriends, Cheese Sandwich, Flash Sentry, Caramel, Soarin and Thunderlane, he ran up to them as Silver Spoon frowned watching him.
When he was out of earshot, "Don't worry Silvey, I'm sure he'll have the guts to ask you to the prom soon", her rich friend patted her shoulder.
"I know, but he just can't see that I like him too, and waiting for him to ask me, hell I had to nicely reject five guys that already asked me", she told them.
With the boy reaching his sister and her friends, he heard them talking about covering a song, "Really, you'll help out Flash", she said excitedly as he nodded.
Then she gave him a kiss, "Thank you, it will surly help-" she stopped talking when Rainbow Dash tapped her shoulder, she turned to her confused and turned to what she was pointing at.
"O-Oh, hey Spike, something you need", she asked nervously while adjusting her glasses, she had a purple skirt, slip on shoes, her hair was in a pony tail and had a stripped button up shirt.
He became confused, "You'll gonna be covering a song during prom", he asked out of curiosity as she nodded.
"Flash's band is gonna cover a song, that I'm gonna be singing it", she explained as he nodded in understanding.
"What kind of song?"
"Uh, just a song, and it's gonna be a slow dancing song", he nodded in understanding again.
Then they decided to change the subject and smirked, "So, did you ask Silver Spoon to the prom yet", Rarity asked.
He sighed, "No, I want too but I can't, what if she rejects me, what if she already has plans of asking someone else", he frowned looking down concerning the older teens.
"She won't reject you squirt", the rainbow haired girl named Rainbow Dash spoke up putting on a smile.
He looked up at her, "How would you know?"
"Cause she has a-Hmph-FOREVER", their pink party loving friend covered her mouth with a hand glaring.
He was even more confused now, "Has a what?"
They looked away, "Sorry man, we can't tell you cuz we Pinkie Promised, and you know that no one has the gut to break one", Flash told him, he nodded in understanding before walking back to his friends.
They watched him walk away, "So, do you two have a date for the prom", Cheese Sandwich asked smirking as the group turned to a blushing Fluttershy and Sunset Shimmer.
"No, but we are still going to have a great time", the flame haired girl pulled her shy friend in with a arm as she started playing with her hair and nodded.
"You two need boyfriends, since you're the only one's in the group that doesn't have one", Thunderlane told them making the shy girl blush more.
Hour's later after School, Silver Spoon walked in her large house as the servents welcomed her home, she walked in the living room to watch some Television.
When she sat down on the couch, her mother came up to her when she saw the look she had, "What's wrong sweetie?"
"Mom, in your and dad's highschool day's, did he ever ask you to the prom", she asked causing the woman to giggle with a smirk now.
"Oh, this is about Spike huh", she nodded blushing slightly, "Tell you the truth sweetie, he did, and it was the best night I ever had, until the next morning when he got chased out my home in his boxer's by your grandfather-MOM, didn't need to know that", her daughter cut her off disgusted.
She giggled again, "What I'm trying to say Silver is, if you like him enough to go with him to your school prom, you should ask him, cuz if you don't, some other girl just might", that caused her to gasp in shock.
She started having visions of him asking another girl to the prom, them sharing a slow dance and holding each other close, then they lean towards each other for a kiss, but shook the thought away.
"You're right mom, I gotta stop waiting around for him to ask me and just ask him myself before some other girl does", then she got up and started to head out.
"That's my girl, go get him", the woman said to herself smiling proudly for her daughter.
After awhile at the Sparkle residents, the Dragon loving boy was feeling down, his family noticed this and became concerned, "Hey, what's wrong?"
"He's been trying to ask Silver Spoon to the prom, but feeling like he can't cuz he's scared that she might reject him", Twilight explained to them as they had a understanding look.
Then the man put on a smirk and nodded to his suddenly confused daughter and wife, he walked over to the teen.
"So you're having trouble asking your friend to the prom huh", the teen nodded frowning still.
"You need to tell her", but before the boy can reply, they heard knocking, the woman answered it and there stood the former bully with a smile.
"Hi Mrs Velvet, is Spike here", the woman nodded, but before she can turn around, then boy was in front of the door within seconds.
"Hey Silver, what you need", he asked smiling, ignoring the fact that he can hear his mom and sister giggling.
"Well, I was wondering if you like to hang out with me today", she fought back the blush at the thought of spending time with him alone.
"Sure", he answered as she beamed at that, then he closed the door and they started heading off.
Back in the house, "Hey sweetie, how did you end up with that Flash Sentry fellow, what happened to Timber Spruce", Velvet suddenly ask her daughter out of curiosity.
"Well, Timber lives far away and we rarely saw each other, so we decided to just be friends so we don't have to worry about crossing citys just to see each other", she explained.
"Then I end up with Flash after-After you saw him shirtless", that caused her daughters face to become beat red.
"MOM", she said in shock as the woman giggled with a smirk.
"What, that's how I end up falling in love with your father", she smirked turning to her smirking husband that heard that.
She walked over and sat down next to him as he pulled her close giving her a kiss, "Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if you had a shirtless picture of him on your phone", she told her daughter again causing her to groan and head upstairs.
With Spike and Silver Spoon walking around, "So, where do you wanna go", the boy asked.
"We can go to that dinner and get a couple of milkshakes", she offered, he shrugged and nodded before they started to head towards their destination.
After awhile when they got there and walked in, they were greeted by Pinkie Pie in roller skate and her light blue and white work uniform.
"Spike, Silver Spoon...is this a date", she grinned with a giggle when they blushed, she started to lead them towards a empty table.
"N-No it isn't, we're just hanging out, can we get two milkshakes", the boy ordered after they sat down, she nodded and wrote it down on a note pad before heading towards the counter.
The two teen started talking, after awhile Pinkie came back with their milkshakes and placed them on the table, "Let me know if you need anything else", then she saw her boyfriend walk in and quickly zip towards him.
Silver turned to the boy fighting back a blush, "Hey Spike, will you go with me to the prom as my date?"
That shocked him, "You want me to go with you", she nodded with a smile.
Then he smiled, "I like to go with you", he told her as she thanked him giving him a hug, then quickly broke it with a blush looking away.
"I'll let Diamond Tiara know so she can pick us up with the limo", she pulled her phone out and text her rich friend.
After awhile, "You know Silver, I've been wanting to ask you to the prom for a week already", he confessed causing her to raise an eyebrow at him.
"Really", he nodded, "What stopped you from asking me?"
He shrugged drinking his milkshake, "I just thought that you would reject me, and that you rather go with some other boy that me".
"No I wouldn't, I would've been happy if you asked me, hell I had to reject five boys who asked me", she told him as he chuckled.
"Same with me, a few girls like Twist, Toola Roola and Coconut Cream asked me to the prom too, but I gently told them no".
"Oh, well I'm glad you did, cuz other wise I wouldn't be going with you", she told him blushing slightly, they continued to talk as they were happy to go the prom with each other.
With Twilight at her boyfriends house, his friends were there since they were practicing a song, "~Go on and, kiss the girl~", the science loving teen sang the last of it.
"Alright, that sounds great Twi", the guitar playing teen complemented her with a smile, she thanked him giving him a kiss.
"I'm sure this song will get Spike to kiss Silver Spoon while dancing to this", she told him smirking, hoping that it will work.
