Our story begins in the basement laboratory of a brilliant scientist in the human world. She is a huge MLP fan as she has collectibles all throughout the room: Pinkie Pie balloons, a Princess Luna pillow, even an Applejack hat. She is humming the MLP theme song while she is working on her latest invention: the SupaMerge, a pair of VR googles that have the power to fuse objects together. She is finished working putting it back together as she put the invention on.
"Alright, Beep-0 - that oughta fix the overheating problem" She told someone. Suddenly, a small, Roomba-like robot appears in front of her and agrees with her.
"Can you believe it's been 3 months since Tech magazine put me-" she began to ask as Beep-0 began beeping at her. "Okay - 'us' on the cover?"
Beep-0 nodded in agreement.
She began to read what was in the magazine. "The SupaMerge takes item A and item B and combines them to make item C." She groaned in disappointment. "If only it were that easy... The article says nothing about dark matter, space-time manipulation, practical applications - NOTHING. I mean the Supamerge could solve the ENERGY CRISIS, Beep-0! Watch!" She cracked her knuckles and began to focus on a desk lamp and a pot of flowers.
Soon a blast of energy shot of the SupaMerge and merged the lamp and flowers together! Soon after the SupaMerge began beeping red from overheating.
"Not again!" she groaned in disappointment as Beep-0 noticed the machine as well. "Sorry, Beep-0. Let's take a break and come back at this overheating thing fresh, okay?" She suggested as she took the googles off, placed them on her desk, and began to leave the room.
Beep-0 began to follow, then he turned and looked back at the machine for a second, and disappeared.
Suddenly, a washing machine appeared in the basement! It opened and a Rabbid poked his head out to take a look around. Then countless Rabbids started spilling out of the washing machine and started to explore the room. One Rabbid noticed the SupaMerge and put it on.
Soon Beep-0 appeared and noticed what was going on. Rabbids were playing with the MLP toys and collectibles, one was playing with a vacuum cleaner, one was in the bathroom, one was inflated by the fire extinguisher and was sent flying, ramming into another one swinging on the light.
The Rabbid wearing the SupaMerge saw one of his friends wearing a Rarity wig and had the scientist's cell phone, and the machine began to focus on her. Soon the Rabbid shot a blast of energy at her and she got merged to the wig, becoming Rabbid Rarity, with Rarity's hair and a white shirt with her cutie mark.
The SupaMerge Rabbid laughed and looked at another Rabbid playing with a balloon. the googles focused on that Rabbid and fused him with that balloon. The SupaMerge Rabbid was having so much fun with the machine as he kept blasting the other Rabbids fusing them to the MLP collectibles, making the overheating problem worse.
Beep-0 tried to tell him to stop, but the Rabbid didn't listen.
The Rabbid ended up blasting the washing machine and it's numbers started spinning fast, and that's when he stopped. The washing machine stopped spinning as the Rabbid inside took notice, then it started to spin in the opposite direction, sucking up all the Rabbids, Beep-0 and the MLP collectibles! The SupaMerge Rabbid tried to pull himself out of the washing machine but a poster of the Mane 6 hit him in face and he got pulled inside the washing machine. The numbers on the washing machine showed images of Twilight's, Rainbow's, and Fluttershy's cutie marks as it finally teleported out of the basement.
Equestria
Meanwhile, in Ponyville, in front of the Castle of Friendship, Princesses Celestia and Luna, the Mane 6, and all of Ponyville gathered for an important ceremony.
"It's SO hard to believe that this is happening!" Rainbow Dash told her friends in excitement.
"I know, we've saved Equestria so many times, and now we're gettin' somethin' like this? It is hard to believe!" Applejack told Rainbow.
"This is gonna be the bestest day EVER!!!" Pinkie Pie announced to everyone there.
"Let's not get ahead of ourselves, Pinkie." Twilight said as Pinkie calmed down. "This is one of the greatest things to ever happen to us, but let's at least act civilized about it."
"I think Twilight's right. The thought of something like this happening to me is very overwhelming." Fluttershy explained the her friends.
"Fluttershy, darling. I assure you that everything will be fine." Rarity comforted Fluttershy.
"Rarity is right." Princess Luna said as she appeared before the Mane 6. "You all have earned this to show that we all appreciate everything you have done for Equestria."
The Mane 6 got into their positions as Princess Celestia was about to make her announcement.
"Citizens of Ponyville. Today we honor these brave ponies by presenting them this statue to show our gratitude for protecting our land and for showing everyone that friendship can overcome hatred." Celestia finished her speech as she used her magic to remove a huge tarp, presenting a statue of the Mane 6 to everypony who is there.
Everypony in Ponyville cheered as the Mane 6 were amazed that they have their own statue.
Twilight was admiring it, but that when she noticed something strange. A giant, blue vortex opened over her castle, directing everypony's attention to it instead of the statue. The vortex began to suck up everypony there.
The ground cracked as Twilight jumped in to save Fluttershy as she was being pulled into the vortex. Celestia and Luna tried to stop the vortex, but it was too powerful as they were sucked in too. One by one the Mane 6 were sucked into the vortex as they each made an attempt to save one another. The vortex's power broke apart the statue and its fragments were sucked into it as well. Twilight hopped from rock to rock inside the vortex to try and save Fluttershy, but she couldn't make it in time as the vortex pulled her away from her hoof, and Twilight was flying through it as well.
Ancient Gardens
Beep-0 falls through the vortex and he ends up high in the sky over Equestria. He sees that everything that was in the basement is suddenly really huge now. He suddenly sprouts two rabbit ears and an outline in the shape of 2 rabbit teeth as a Rabbid on a toilet falls past him, watching him.
"Why do I have... EARS!?" Beep-0 said in surprise.
The SupaMerge Rabbid ends up falling into Beep-0 as electricity from the Supamerge begins to shock him.
"Well, I Hope you're HAPPY!" Beep-0 told the Rabbid.
Soon, the Rabbid ends up being covered in pixels and SupaMerge energy as the googles merge to his face! He tries to pull the googles off, but he is unsuccessful. He looks at Beep-0 and smiles.
3 Rabbids riding, what appear to be giant make-up brushes each with different colors, suddenly zoom past Beep-0 and one of them accidently hits the SupaMerge Rabbid and picks him up. He complains to the SupaMerge Rabbid, but that's when he sees something is up with him.
The SupaMerge Rabbid looks like he is in pain and he shoots a blast of energy at the other Rabbid.
The Rabbid is then fused to the make-up brush, giving him a mohawk, purple markings on his body, and a rope that wraps around his shoulder. He then pulls out a laser gun, shoots it a couple time, and backflips into Equestria.
The SupaMerge Rabbid is still in pain and blasting energy at his friends. Beep-0 appears and tries to get him to stop, but the Rabbid isn't able to stop and he blasts out of the scene.
Beep-0 is worried about the Rabbid, but that's when he sees the washing machine. It is gigantic now and there was 1 Rabbid inside it, and it looked like he was having a blast. The washing machine was going to ram into Beep-0 and he prepared himself for the impact.
Something purple flies by and save him from being hit as the washing machine falls into Equestria.
Everything began to land on the ground as Twilight brought Beep-0 down safely.
"Thank you for saving me." Beep-0 told her.
"Anytime." Twilight told him.
That's when Rabbid Rarity landed in a bush behind them. She freed herself, fixed her hair, tried to catch another Rabbid that was falling. She missed her and she landed face-first in front of Twilight and Beep-0
This Rabbid had Fluttershy's hair and a yellow shirt with her cutie mark. She pulled her face out of the ground and everyone saw the 3 Rabbids from earlier, all merged with their make-up brushes, gluing parasprites to rocks, trees and the ground. They have become Ziggies!
2 of the Rabbids glued 2 of the parasprites together by their feet and throw them at the group.
Rabbid Rarity thought it was pretty cute, but then she turned her attention to the enemy Rabbids. She, along with Twilight, heroically took a step closer to the Rabbids, while Rabbid Fluttershy looked a little uneasy about, but joined nonetheless.
The 3 enemy Rabbids noticed them and began to retreat.
Rabbid Rarity and Rabbid Fluttershy waved good-bye to the parasprites as they started to leave by bouncing across the ground while Twilight and Beep-0 talked.
"What's up with all the strange-looking bunnies?" Twilight asked Beep-0.
"They're called Rabbids, they aren't very bright and they seem driven to cause chaos and mayhem - more so than usual, even." Beep-0 explained.
"I'm Beep-0.
"I'm Twilight Sparkle."
"I know! It is an honor to meet you face-to-face!"
"Glad to make your acquaintance! So why do you say these Rabbids are causing more trouble than normal?"
"Well, unlike our 2 friends here they seem to have been... corrupted by that Rabbid wearing the SupaMerge headset."
"The what?" Twilight asked.
"The SupaMerge headset. It is a machine made by my scientist partner that has the power to fuse different objects together. Could it be that it had been CORRUPTED on its way into this world? If so... we're all in terrible danger! Twilight! We MUST find that poor Rabbid fused to the headset! He is the key! Save him - we might just save this world.
"Sounds like a plan! But we'll have to find my friends, they'll be able to help us!" twilight agreed.
"I'm guessing that vortex spread them all throughout Equestria, we'll find them soon enough." Beep-0 assured her.
"Why are these Rabbids dressed like Rarity and Fluttershy, anyway?"
"They have a thing for cosplay." Beep-0 explained.
"Oh."
"I think these 2 can help us, they seem to want to." Beep-0 said as he and Twilight noticed that Rabbid Rarity and Rabbid Fluttershy were doing karate poses.
"They won't be a problem?" Twilight asked Beep-0.
"They seem pretty reliable." Beep-0 told her.
"Ok. I'm gonna introduce myself." Twilight told him as she walked to the 2 Rabbids. "I am Twilight Sparkle and I'm happy to meet you." She held out her hoof.
Rabbid Fluttershy approached her, shook her hoof said, "Bwah, Bwa Bwa Bwah."
Rabbid Rarity did the same.
"What'd they say?" Twilight asked Beep-0.
"That's their language. All they pretty much say is 'Bwah'." Beep-0 told her.
"Ok, then. Well How about we call them Rabbid Rarity and Rabbid Fluttershy?" Twilight suggested.
"I'm glad I wasn't the only one considering that!" Beep-0 stated. "Well, let's begin our journey, team!"
"Hooray!" Twilight cheered.
"Bwa-Bwaaah!" Rabbid Fluttershy and Rabbid Rarity cheered.
The group then began to make their way through the grassy area that they're in, beginning their journey through the messed-up Equestria.
