"You’re probably one of the messiest eaters I've ever seen" Twilight said as she neatly wiped her face.

"Well I might be a bit messy, but I bet I enjoyed my haycakes al lot more than you did!" Rainbow said as she gave a huge toothy grin with a few dribbles of syrup dripped off of her face.

Twilight quickly turned to the corner of her room to observe a ticking clock, and the back to Dash "Look at that, we have time to spare. What do you want to do while we are here in Canterlot?" Twilight asked

"I’ll tell you what I want to do..." Rainbow said with a grin bigger than her last.

------------------------------

"When you asked me what I wanted to do, well, this is not what I was thinking" grumbled Dash, who was now carrying boxes and bags, each containing trinkets and doodads with various purposes.

Twilight was too busy to acknowledge Dash’s complaint. She was pondering where to go next. Ponyville didn't have all the shops that Canterlot does, and she was in need of certain unobtainable 'items' she used in her spells.

The two walked to a beautiful crimson red shop with a vial of purple liquid adorning the roof.

"Hey egghead, wanna give me a hand, or should I just leave these here?" Dash said sarcastically as she stood in the entrance, but as she finished her sentence a blur in the corner of her eye caught her attention.

Rainbow looked in that direction and beheld her heroes, the Wonderbolts. She quickly glanced in Twilight’s general direction noticing her multifarious brain going a million miles an hour while assuming the clerk had heard and understood her demands. She set the boxes and bags down quietly and backed out the door very slyly, so as not to disturb the two occupants and interrupt the frantic list the lavender pony was rattling off.

The sky was clear, not a cloud in sight, yet it lacked something. The extreme Wonderbolts aerobatics and stunts, no... ME! Rainbow Dash thought, as she raced upwards, defying the gravitational pull that strained to bring her down, but she paused for a moment to steal a quick glance from where she started to see if Twilight was there, still talking to the clerk. Yup.

"Alright, just a few quick tricks and back I go" Rainbow assured herself.

With that she climbed higher. When she reached the appropriate height she rolled over and started her descent. She felt the adrenaline kick in, the fight or flight instinct caused her body to jitter with excitement. 10. 9. 8. She started to fall faster and faster yet she didn't care. 7. 6. 5. 4. The ground was closing in; she was a mere 75ft from impact. 3. 2. 1. She quickly rolled over and spread her wings catching a gust of wind propelling her upwards. She looked how close she was, a hoof print away from smacking the cool dew covered grass of the garden square.

"Whoo, that's the closest I've ever been. Hmm, I wonder if I could get closer." Rainbow muttered to herself, as she landed with ease.

"Hey kid, good trick, takes lots of guts to perform something like that." A voice reached Rainbow’s ears, it seemed familiar, but she couldn’t place it.

"Guts. Nah, just talent and skills." Rainbow addressed the figure behind her, without turning to look at her admirer.

"How'd you like to teach us some of your tricks, ours are getting a little old?" the voice once again slipped into the ears of Rainbow.

"Uh, what?" Rainbow asked as she finally looked at the person behind her. "No way." Rainbow said as her jaw dropped to the ground.

"You ok?" the owner of the voice asked with concern.

"S...S....Sp... Spitfire." Rainbow managed at last.

"Yup, and let me guess, Rainbow Dash was it?" Spitfire questioned.

"How does someone like you know me?" the astonished pony asked.

"Well, we like to keep tabs on up and coming recruits, plus you saved Soarin's pie from smashing into the ground at the gala two years back, and you tried to set the equestrian record for the fastest hurricane. So we keep a close eye on you especially." Spitfire answered Dash’s question with a smile and a hint of admiration.

Oh my gosh, this has to be a dream. Is this a dream? No it can't be. Wait! If this is real I must look so stupid standing here thinking it over. "Uhm I would love to show you some of the new tricks I've been working on recently." Rainbow said.

"Good, how about this afternoon, if you’re not busy? It would be great to get a new trick before the big dinner tonight." Spitfire told Rainbow.

"Well you see," don't blow it, this might be your one chance. What about Twilight? "Spitfire, I-" Rainbow was cut off by an innocent voice only a few steps to the right of her.

"She would love to, just as soon as she helps me get my stuff back to our room." Twilight chimed in.

She caught Dash off guard by her sudden appearance, "Are you sure?" Rainbow asked.

"Yup." Twilight retorted with a smile.

"Great! Can't wait to see what you got" said Spitfire.

"Now Dash, can you help me with my stuff?" Twilight asked, "Or should I leave it all right here?" she added sarcastically.

----------------------------------------

"Great job Dash!" an enthusiastic Twilight yelled from the bleachers.

Dash had just completed her new favourite trick, a Rainbow loop-de-loop with a barrel roll, a fly by at the stands, then a straight acceleration upwards, ending in a nose dive, and to top it off a rainbownado, known to Twilight as her patent-pending dryer. This caused every say of sunlight to refract into bright colors and gleam on everything with in a 200 foot radius.

"Thanks champ!" Dash called from the castle garden, which was the base camp for the Wonderbolts while at they were at the castle.

"Alright, your turn Soarin!" Spitfire yelled to the next in line.

"Uhm... Can I see it one more time, I lost track at the barrel roll" Soarin asked.

Rainbow landed next to Twilight in the stands, "Now, how about you try?" questioned Rainbow.

"Hey, I can barely fly as it is, plus I’m missing one more ingredient to do the spell" answered Twilight. "But there is something I wanted to show you under the bleachers if you’re not busy" Twilight asked, an odd smile appearing on her face.

"Uh, I think I'm done."

"Good. Let’s go." Twilight said.

The cyan Pegasus followed Twilight to the side of the bleachers, and then underneath them. There wasn't much under them, just a few cross beams and a few pipes, but that was it, "Hey silly filly, there's nothing down here" Rainbow said, confusion evident on her face.

"I know" Twilight said as she quickly turned and locked lips with Dash.

Dash quickly lost her footing causing her to tumble on to Twilight, somehow managing to not release the kiss. After landing, Rainbow’s hoof took to Twilight’s mane; she ran her hoof though it, the soft hair falling away as she moved it from top to bottom. Her hoof didn't stop there, it continued down the side of Twilight, caressing her body, back and forth.

"Now now, isn't someone getting ahead of them selves?" Dash asked slyly.

"No, but I think you are falling behind" murmured Twilight.

"Remember how I said you win for now?" Dash asked. "Well, now it's my turn" and with that Dash kissed Twilights forehead, and gradually worked her way upwards, to her horn. Dash kissed it, causing Twilight to stutter with pleasure, but Rainbow didn't stop there. She continued to pleasure Twilight by moving a hoof to her inner thigh. Closer and closer her hoof made its way up the slender body of Twilight. Closer, closer-

"Rainbow Dash where are you?" Dash leapt upright to listen again. "Rainbow, Soarin still doesn't understand the Rainbow Strata. He needs be shown it again" Spitfire’s voice called out.

"Go ahead; I can wait a little bit longer" Twilight directed Dash.

"I’m so sorry Twilight, how about tonight right before dinner?" Rainbow suggested to Twilight.

"No distractions this time?" Twilight asked wryly.

"No distractions" Rainbow assured her.
