It’s a beautiful day in Ponyville. Two ponies stand outside Twilight’s castle. Twilight Sparkle and Sunset Shimmer, who visits from the human world.
“Wow!” Sunset Shimmer said shockingly. “This is a beautiful castle.”
“Thanks, Sunset.” Twilight replied. “I’m glad you’re visiting from the human world to be here.”
“I hope everypony will be happy to see me.”
“They will be. Come on.”
Twilight and Sunset walk through the castle. The golden unicorn is amazed by the majesty of the castle.
“This is beautiful.” Sunset chirped. “You are lucky to have this as home.”
“Thanks.” Twilight praised. “Wait until you see the meeting room.”
The ponies walked into where the map is located. Sunset looks at the map. “So, this is where you have your friendship missions displayed.”
“You’re correct.” Twilight Sparkle said. “If there’s a friendship problem, Cutie Marks will circle around the location.”
Twilight then points up to the ceiling. “See that chandelier?”
“Yeah.” Sunset answered. “Looks like the roots of a giant tree.”
“That was the bottom of the Golden Oaks Library. My old home.”
Pretty soon, Starlight Glimmer trots into room and saw the guest. “Oh. Hi, Sunset.”
Sunset turns around and sees the pink unicorn. “Hi, Starlight. Good to see you again.”
The two unicorns hugged each other when they heard Rainbow Dash call out. “Aw. Isn’t that cute?”
Sunset and Starlight turned around and saw Twilight’s friends come in.
“Hello, Sunset Shimmer.” Rarity greeted. “Nice of you to visit.”
“What brings you here from the human world anyway?” Dash wondered.
Sunset Shimmer gave them a straight answer. “It was a day off from school. So, I decided to go through the portal to come to Equestria. Celestia and Luna were happy to see me. And, so is Twilight.”
“It has been a while since Sunset came to Equestria.” Twilight added.
“I guess so.” Applejack figured. “Probably still wants to redeem herself for her mistakes.”
“You got that right, Applejack.” Sunset replied.
Fluttershy walked up to the golden unicorn. “You know we don’t carry any grudges, Sunset. We’re happy you’re visiting.”
“Besides, darling.” Rarity chirped. “We have something new here in Ponyville.”
“What’s that?” Sunset asked.
“A SCHOOL!” Pinkie Pie cheered.
“A school? Here in Ponyville?”
“Not just any school.” Twilight informed. “Follow me, and you’ll see why.”
Sunset Shimmer follows Starlight and the Mane Six to a big building near the castle.
“What is this?” Sunset asked, eyes widening.
“This is the School of Friendship.” Twilight Sparkle answered.
Starlight explained the origin. “After the Storm King was defeated, the map expanded beyond Equestria. We figured many creatures need to learn about friendship.”
“And, that’s where this school comes in.” Sunset figured.
“That’s right.” Twilight replied. “It was rough at first. But, it became very successful.”
“We’ll introduce you to six of our students one day.” Starlight informed. “These youngsters call themselves the Young Six.”
Sunset Shimmer seemed interested. “Maybe I’ll meet them.”
Rarity just remembered something. “Oh. There’s going to be a nice party going on in Canterlot later tonight. How would you like to attend, Sunset?”
Sunset was shocked to hear that. “Me? I don’t know. The ponies may still be mad at me for taking Twilight’s crown.”
“Don’t worry, Sunset.” Twilight said, comforting the scared unicorn. “If we can forgive you, so will the citizens of Canterlot.”
“You may be right, Twi. Princess Celestia did forgive me. So, I guess the citizens can forgive me too.”
“Excellent.” Rarity cheered. “Follow me.”
Later, the ponies arrived at Canterlot. Sunset looked around nervously. She was worried that the ponies who live there would be upset with her. But, they’re not.
“Wow.” Sunset chirped. “Not one mean look at all.”
The group stopped in front of the clothing store, the Canterlot Carousel.
“Before anything else,” Rarity explained to Sunset Shimmer, “we need to make a beautiful dress for you.”
“A dress?” Sunset exclaimed. “For me?”
“Of course, darling. If you’re attending this party, you need to look beautiful.”
“Well, anything is worth a shot. Let’s go.”
The ponies went into the store where Sassy Saddles, the store manager, welcomed them. “Hello, friends. It’s good to see you again.”
“Hello, Sassy.” Rarity greeted. “Can you help me make a dress for my friend, Sunset Shimmer?”
“Wasn’t she the unicorn who once tried to steal Twilight’s crown?”
Sunset approached Sassy Saddles. “That was then, this is now. I’m good and noble instead of jealous.”
Sassy looked at Sunset. “I guess you are. Let’s see what me and Rarity can whip up for you.”
After taking Sunset Shimmer’s measurements, Rarity and Sassy went into the back room to make a dress. Ten minutes later, the dress was done. The dress has a black top and a long red, orange, and yellow striped skirt.
“Wow!” Sunset gasped. “It’s beautiful. It even has my cutie mark symbol on the front of the top.”
“I’m glad you like it.” Rarity cheered. “You’ll look beautiful at the party.”
“I think you’re right.”
Little did anyone know that somepony was spying on the scene from an open window. It was Dumbbell, one of the Pegasi bullies who used to pick on Rainbow Dash. He quickly flew away from the Canterlot Carousel and made his way to his home in Cloudsdale.
There, he rushed over to his two friends, Hoops and Score, and gave them some scary news. “The crown thief is back to steal Princess Twilight’s crown again! Call for Princess Cadence at once!”
Hoops and Score’s mouths opened with fear. Later, at Canterlot Castle, two royal guards stood before the magic mirror while holding up Sunset Shimmer, who was all tied up. Other guards held Twilight and her friends back so they don’t step in to stop it. Everypony was looking on with sadness as Princess Cadence points to the mirror. “Back to the human world with you!”
The guards threw Sunset through the portal in the mirror. Twilight was upset, knowing Sunset won’t attend the party. Even Celestia and Luna were upset about this turn of events.
“Don’t worry, Twilight.” Cadence said proudly. “That wayward unicorn won’t bother you for a while.”
Cadence walks away. Rainbow Dash got angry when she saw Hoops, Dumbbell, and Score snicker cruelly. 
Back in the human world, Spoiled Rich was walking near Canterlot High School when she saw a scary sight near the statue in front of the school. It was Sunset Shimmer in her human form, tied up, and crying quietly.
“Sunset!” Spoiled Rich yelped as she approached the bound teenager. “What happened? I thought you were visiting Equestria.”
“I was.” Sunset sobbed. “But, my visit was cut short.”
“You poor dear.”
Spoiled Rich scooped up Sunset in her arms. “I’ll take you home with me. You’ll be untied there.”
After placing Sunset in the back seat of her car, Spoiled Rich soon drove her back to town. Later at Spoiled Rich’s house, Sunset was unwrapped, and is wearing a short sleeved red nightgown.
“Feeling better?” Spoiled asked as she looks in.
“A little.” Sunset Shimmer answered,still a bit upset. “Thanks for letting me spend the night here. And, thanks for this nightgown.”
“You’re welcome, dear. I’ll take you back to your apartment tomorrow morning.”
Spoiled Rich lead Sunset to the living room couch where a blanket and pillows are set up.
“I hope you don’t mind sleeping on the couch, Miss Shimmer.” Spoiled wondered.
“I think I can handle it.” Sunset replied.
“Well then, good night.”
Spoiled Rich went to her bedroom as Sunset laid down on the couch, draping the blanket over her, and readied herself for a good night’s sleep. As she was laying down, one thought came to Sunset’s mind.
“Making up for my misdeeds is one thing. Hoping someone has faith in you is another."
