With Soarin still teaching his son how too fly, he's been doing this for hours, yet the still couldn't fly.
"Don't give up, keep on trying", he encouraged the colt to keep going as he picked him up and placed him on the roof.
With a smiling Fluttershy walking over the tiny bridge in front of her home, she saw her son standing on the roof and became confused as to why he was on the house.
Then her eyes widen when he jumped off, "Oh no", she rushed to the back of the cottage and saw him getting up from an old matress.
She rushed to him checking him for injuries as her boyfriend start inwardly panicking when he saw her, "Now mom-Why would you do that, you could have gotten hurt", she lightly scolded him.
"I was learning how to fly mom, dad was teaching me", then the shy Pegasus turned to the freaking out stallion.
"This was your idea, you were having our son jump off the cottage just to learn how to fly", he gulped as she started walking towards him with a scolding look.
"What is wrong with you, what if he gotten hurt, what if he broke a hoof, or landed wrong and broke a wing", the colt saw that his father was in trouble and ran up to him.
The stallion was gonna explain himself, but they heard, "This wasn't his idea mom, it was mine..I heard about Junior Flight Camp and how Pegasi jump off high places, just so they can learn faster".
She turned back to her son in shock, "Spike, do you know how dangerous that could be, you could land wrong and hurt yourself, you know I would hate it if something bad happened to you", she gave him a hug and nuzzle.
"But I'm ok, please let me continue how to fly like this", the colt begged, but she still wasn't so sure about it.
Then he decided to use his secret weapon, "Please, if you love me, you'll let me practice like this, you do love me...do you mommy", he looked up at her with a pout and big pleading eyes.
She quickly broke, "Of course I do sweetie, your my little boy that I love, you have my permission to continue to practice flying like this", then he smiled and nuzzled her.
"Thank you mommy, you're the best", he told her causing her to smile and nuzzle him affectionately, then kissed his cheek before letting him go.
Then she turned to her smirking boyfriend frowning, "I'm sorry I blamed you for this Soarin, thinking this was your idea, I hope you can forgive me", she nuzzled him under his chin.
"It's ok Fluttershy, besides, I can never be angry with a beautiful mare like you", she smiled blushing before giving him a kiss, then she started walking away to head inside.
When the shy Pegasus was out of sight, "I know what you did Spike", he smirked down at his son.
"You do", the stallion nodded.
"I use to do the same thing with your grandmother when I was your age, and it worked everytime", he playfully ruffled the colts mane.
"We're gonna stop today, we'll try again next week ok", the colt nodded in understanding.
"I'm gonna go look for Scootaloo, later dad, and let mom know I'll be around town", the colt took off running.
"Stay safe ok", the stallion called, then he started walking to the front of the cottage to head inside.
With the athletic Pegasus filly, she was at the park showing her friends that she can fly, "Congratulations on learning how to fly", the unicorn filly hugged her friend when she landed.
"Thanks Sweetie Belle".
Suddenly Apple Bloom smirked, "Now you and Spike can go for a fly together, if he learned how to fly yet", that comment caused her friend to blush with a smile.
Suddenly Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon came out of nowhere, "It doesn't matter that you can fly now, you're still a loser", the group groaned in frustration and turned to them.
"What do you want from us now", Button asked glaring.
"Just to remind you losers that we have something that you will never have, cutie marks", they turned around showing off their cutie marks.
Then the athletic Pegasus filly smirked, "Oh yeah, well I have something that you will never have, the cutest colt not only in school, but in Ponyville as my boyfriend".
The rich fillies scuffed, "Like we care".
"How does it feel D.T and Silver, knowing that you both will never ever in your lives, will be able to kiss Spike, or spend the night with him, or invite him to spend the night with you, he is mine, and forever will be".
Suddenly the two rich fillies smirked at Button Mash and Tender Taps, before getting a little too close to them, "How about you boys ditch the losers for us", then they nuzzled them under their chins.
But before Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom can rip their tails off, "Please, like I ever ditch my girlfriend for you, besides do you even know what the word belle means", the two rich fillies didn't know.
"The word belle means beautiful, and is something my girlfriend is, and you two ain't", he pointed at the cruel fillies as his girlfriend nuzzled him blushing.
"Yeah, so get lost", the tap dancing colt told them glaring also while his girlfriend nuzzled him too.
The groaned in frustration and stomped away, "Fine, be losers like everypony else", the bright pink rich filly grumbled.
With the athletic colt, he was running along, when suddenly he saw the library and stared at it, "Hmmm, wonder if they have any good books".
Then he decided to look for his girlfriend later, and headed inside the tree like building, he started looking around and noticed how different it looked when it wasn't decorated.
"Hey Spike", hey heard the lavender unicorn greet him smiling.
"Hey Twilight, man it looks different when the place is not decorated, and it sure has alot of books", he was looking at all the books, some where on a desk in a pile.
"What kind of book are you looking for", he saw that some were Equestrian mythology, or learning books.
"Do you have one on flying", he asked out of curiosity.
"Hmm, I think we do, let me check", the book horse then started checking to see if she has one.
As she was checking, the colt saw several unlabeled potions in test tubes on a table, but to him they were drinks since he never saw potions before, and didn't bother wondering why they were bubbly.
Then he decided to drink one realizing that practicing flying made him a little thirsty, thinking Twilight will let him get something to drink, he grabbed a blue one and took the cork off it and sniffed it.
"Smells like rotten berries, meh what the heck", then he brought it to his lips, and downed the whole thing just as the lavender unicorn found the book.
"I found a book Spi-...w-what did you drink", she saw him giving a disgust face and shaking his head while putting the empty test tube down on the table.
"Ok, that was nasty", then he started to feel funny and placed a hoof on his head.
"You drank one of my potions, no no no no, this is bad, this is really bad", she started to panic and started to look him over for any changes.
Suddenly he started feeling pain throughout his body, "Aaaah, w-why does everything hurt", he groaned falling to the floor and curling into a ball just as the rest of the Main six walked in.
They became shocked and concerned when they saw the colt on the floor looking like he's in pain, especially Fluttershy as she rushed to her sons aid.
"No no no no, please no", she begged feeling tear's in her eyes while holding the colt, she was thinking she was gonna lose him.
"H-He drank one of my potions when my back was turned, we have to see what happens so I can know how to reverse it", they had no choice but to look on.
Then became confused and surprised that his body was shrinking, almost like he getting smaller.
"Is he..ageing backwards", Rarity asked confused, suddenly the shrinking stopped and they realized he turned into a foal.
"He's a baby, he looks to be around four months", then the little foal smile and gave a baby giggle, before grabbing the shy mares face with his tiny hooves nuzzling her.
She smiled and gently nuzzled him back, "It's like he's my baby boy, yes you are", then the rest of the mares smiled and started cooing over baby Spike.
"So what he drank was a potion that turned him back into a baby", Twilight said to herself in shock, but her friends didn't hear her.
"My goodness he is so adorable", the fashionista cooed over him, before gently picking him up and nuzzling him.
"I seen alot of babys, and I gotta say that Spike is the cutest one I ever seen", Applejack smiled at the giggling baby.
"Don't worry Fluttershy, I'll think of a way to turn him back, I promise you, but it'll probably take me a couple of weeks, or months to figure out how", the mares suddenly turned to their thinking unicorn friend.
"Well in that case, I'll head to my shop and make him the finest baby blanket there is", the fashion unicorn then headed out the library.
"And I'll make him a crib made from one of the fallen apple tree's", Applejack then trotted out also.
"And if you need somepony to watch him, you can come to me", Pinkie told the shy Pegasus friend.
Then Fluttershy got up while holding her baby with a hoof, he had a mouth full of her mane with drool numming on it.
"Take all the time you need Twilight, I don't mind", then her and the pink party pony walked out also to buy a few temporary baby stuff.
At the Wonderbolt headquarters, Soarin was in shock at what Fleetfoot and some of the cadets told him.
"You had a drunken one night stand with Zephyr, the hell", Spitfire face was red and embarrassed.
"I know, we messed up ok, we were at a bar drunk and feeling lonely, and if I remember, he said something about screwing me and, I asked if he wanted too-Ok, I don't want details", her brother cut her off disgusted.
"You better hope you don't end up pregnant in three weeks", he suddenly told her before walking in the building.
She was starting to remember blurs of that night and chuckled, "I ain't gonna lie, he was giving it his all, if I remember, I think I told him that he past the test of amazing and satisfying me, before passing out".
With Zephyr Breeze getting home from work, he was trying to remember the night with the Wonderbolt captain, but all was coming to him was blurs.
He chuckled, "Man, never knew she can be crazy like that", he remembered her challenging him to go faster, and asking him if that's the best he can do.
Later back at the cottage, Fluttershy who was still holding Spike and Pinkie walked in with bags, "Thanks for helping me buy this baby stuff", she thanked her pink party friend.
"No problem, besides, now would be your chance to take some baby pictures of him", the pink pony beamed while her shy Pegasus friend started thinking about that.
Then she smiled realising she does, "I don't mind Twilight taking her time to fix this, and I also don't mind Spike being my baby boy for a few weeks or months", then she nuzzled him.
The baby nuzzled her back, but what they didn't know, was that since he's four months, in his eyes, the shy mare is his birth mother.
