Cadance waited for the muffled groan from the lump of blankets next to her before continuing. “It’s quite impressive, really, just looking at him you wouldn’t expect such powerful and versatile magic. I wonder where he really came from. Maybe Twilight would know more, or if she doesn’t I’m sure it’s only a matter of time until she finds out.” She chuckled lightly.
“Guuuuhhhhh…”
“Anyway, I really hope he’ll show me that spell again next time we meet, I’d love to figure out how exactly it works.” Cadance hummed happily, turning her head to the lump again. “Oh yes, I informed the Guard and Miss Crystal Quill to clear your schedule for the rest of the day. I assumed you might not be up for long meetings anymore, in the end.”
The lump gave another pitiful groan and rolled over, a hoof blindly groping around the bedside table before finding a large water bottle and disappearing back under the blankets with it. A moment later the empty bottle dropped off the bed.
“Speaking of Twilight, I think she might be an aunt soon. I got a good feeling about this time.”
