The adrenaline was kicking in hard, my heart raced as I sprinted towards the house. I was shocked at my own pace, outrunning the two mares in no time. I bolted through the door, sweat beading my forehead and flush red with heat. I noticed the mess trixie mentioned and to my horror I say lyra laying on the ground. My heart sank, my hands trembled as I hurried to her side.
"Lyra! Lyra are you ok?!" I hastily said, hovering my hands above her, worried that a wrong touch or motion would cause her more harm.
Her eyes fluttered and she haphazardly tried to get onto her hooves.
"Wah..?" She stammered out before losing balance briefly. I caught her side and supported her weight.
"Don't move....you'll hurt yourself worse." Lyra looked up at me, tears and a small trickle of blood running down her head and check.
"Dinners canceled huh..." she stammered before falling unconscious in my arms.

The door opened, a brown pony walked into the room, wearing a doctors uniform made for a pony. He adjusted his glasses with his hoove, the stepascop around his neck moving but staying around his neck.
"Your friend will be ok.." he started "...she will have a headache and a small scare but her skull is unharmed and her brain is unaffected, as far as our x-rays show." He said to me, Bon Bon and trixie who were letting off sighs of relief.
"Shes resting in room four, but I must ask only one visitor at a time please. Her physical wounds have healed, but we still need to evaluate her mental faculties." The doctor said as the nurse came in, a white mare with a pink main and matching tail.
"Doctor, the patient is awake and asking for an Alex." She said to the doctor, who nodded with acknowledgement.
"Good, she's awake. Alex the nurse will show you the way, I'll be with you shortly." I looked towards Bon Bon and trixie, who both looked at one another and nodded.
"Go on ahead, me and trixie will see to the paperwork. I'm sure she wants to see you the most." Bon Bon said as she turned to the doctor, who produced a small file from his jacket.
"She's right.....a-and the great and powerful Trixie needs to think of a great and powerful apology." She said with confidence but I could notice a flash of remorse, Which made me happy to see from a prideful pony.
"Ok...I'll be back." I said as me and the nurse pony left the room.
The hallway was silent and the walk to her room felt like an eternity. It's been two hours since I ran here, carrying Lyra in my arms and trying my best not to burst into tears. If Bon Bon and trixie didnt catch up and lead me to the hospital I would of looked like a crazy man lost and carrying and unconscious mare.
In retrospect i should of waited for them: I worried them senseless, I could of cause Lyra more harm and so many other things I could of done better. But I couldn't just leave her there, I had to do something for her. All these thoughts entered my mind but before I could focus on any of them, we reached her room.
The nurse opened the door for me and nodded me in. She had a smile on her face as she held the door.
"I know you may feel guilty..." she whispered "...but that was very noble of you, she could of been in real trouble if she wasn't rushed here by you." I smiled at her and nodded. I walked into her room, the walls were a nice green paneling, with thin green spirals on the panels.
"I'll leave you two alone." The nurse said before shutting the door. I stood there, staring at lyra who was sitting in the hospital bed, cover up to her chest in a hospital blanket. Her front hooves resting on her stomach. She looked up and her face light up with pure happiness.
"Alex!" She said, a smile spreading across her face, she winced a little and rubbed her head.
"Hehe....head still huts." Lyra said still rubbing her forehead. I laughted.
"I'm happy to see your still your strange self." I said walking towards the right side of her bed, grabbing a chair and sitting beside her bed.
"You feeling ok?" I asked.
"Yeah, yeah....I'm feeling good, bit headachie but I'm still the same old Lyra." We both laught at her statement, I felt relieved to hear her laugh.
"I'm happy to hear. You had me and Bon Bon worried. Even gave Trixie a scare." Lyra looked down her smile going down slightly.
"I was rude to her....it was childish of me to get upset over a cushion. I was just..." she stammered "....j-just jealous that you were spending time with them more." I could see tears forming in her eyes. Her beautiful eyes started to well up with tears. I placed my hand onto her cheek, she looked shocked and blushed.
"Lyra..." I started "....You....your the mare I love. I wanted to tell you since that day you sent me to the hospital. You've been there since I came here and you helped me make friends in this new world. I would be lost if not for you, Twilight, Bon Bon and Trixie. But no matter who tries to come between us....its you I want to make happy.....I promise you, when we get home, I'll tell them that I only want you. I know they will be upset, but I cant see myself with anypony else."
My heart was pounding, my face red with not embarrassment....but confidence in my words. Lyra looked at me, tears welling up more, she sniffled, her smile returning in full. She cried, tears of joy, she giggled between hiccups and her hooves covering her face.
"Oh Celestia......I-I-I dont know what to say.....it's...it's...." I stopped her, softly placed my hands on her cheeks, she stopped crying for that moment.
"You dont need words my love." I said before kissing her on the lips. Her warm lips damp with tears, felt like heaven. I kissed her with the passion that built up from our first meeting to now and the passion for our future together. I moved my hands from her cheeks to her back and she wrapped her hooves around me, our embrace sealing our fate together.

The door was shut but the words could still be faintly heard from within. Bon Bon and Trixie stood there, listening to it all. They felt a combination of sad, jealousy, longing and finally.....acceptance. Bon Bon looked towards Trixie and gave a warm smile.
"Looks like Lyra is gonna be ok." She said.
"Yeah....Trixie agrees." They both giggled as the opened the door, so they can all head back home.
