Part 1: WE'RE GAINING MORE KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THIS WORLD, BUT WHY IT IS SO FUCKED UP??
IT TALKED. IT FUCKING TALKED. HORSE TALKED.
Drakon felt like as if his mobile phone, a trusty device and helper, suddenly grew fangs and bit his ear.
Nika, on the contrary, was, in fact, intrigued. A new sentient species! And little talking horsies look kinda cute too.
Captain and Wulfin were just a little surprised that locals look like horses and not like, say, insectoids.
Jake didn't give a fuck. He felt like shit and wasn't paying attention to the external stimuli. And Megumi was far too worried about him to be worried by something else.
After few moments Drakon broke out of his stupor and looked at Jake. He was no longer bleeding. Wait. What did it say a minute ago? Used a 'healing spell'?
With eyes wide open and nervous smile on his face he asked Jake a question (while keeping his eyes on that colored horsie) "Hei, Jeyk. Arr yu oh-kyei?" which came out with horrible East European(Russian) accent.
"..Wha? Urgh... fuck. Yeah. No longer bleeding it seems. But fucking everything hurts like a bitch. And I feel like shit."
"Zadz gud. Viery gud. Sou, bak tu aurr... Helpyer, iz it? Hu arr yu and vat did yu do?" he looked at the pony, expecting answers.
Lots of thoughts raced through Lyra's head. One part was ready to jump in joy. She finally found THEM. Finally, after so many years of fruitless searches high and low.
Another part wanted to jump down the ladder and run away because they turned out to be very scary. In fact one of them was intently staring at her with terrifying and very creepy smile as if he(she deduced that it was a 'he') was about to jump and break her neck. Plus earlier he said something in scary foreign language. Another fact that they were drenched in blood, BLOOD(and in such quantities), didn't help either.
But she saved one of them, right? They won't kill her, right?
After very awkward moments of silence, he, as far as she could tell, inquired about the health from the injured, who was lying on the gurney, in very broken Equestrian, calling him 'Jake'. 'Jake' answered with raspy, pained voice. His Equestrian was really good but his answer made her ears drop: she never heard anypony say such harsh and dirty words before.
Then the first one asked her a question. It caught her off guard and now she was a little lost because, I mean, just who wouldn't know about magic, or ponies to that extent?
"Erm... M-my name is Lyra. Lyra Heartstrings." Human's creepy smile became even bigger "A-and I... I used healing spell on your... F-friend?"
"Majik, huh? Ooooh-kyei. And zis town. Haw iz it kalled?" Another question.
"Uhhhh, th-this is Ponyville." His eye began to twitch. "End oll off yu arr small horsez?"
She automatically corrected him "It's Ponies not horses." which she immediately regretted as his eyes made an ominous spark.
"...End huu iz yor ruleer?" Lyra broke a sweat from the chilling atmosphere "I-it's Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. They raise sun and moon respectively when it's time."
This new info made him go quiet. He looked back on others and whispered something to them. One of them nodded with a smirk. Then the one who was talking to her took a step back.
That human looked around, then raised his index finger as if saying 'Hold on for a moment' and then went for the ICU room's sink to wash himself from blood. Everything was silent save for the sound of running water.
Other humans didn't move or talk, they just kept watching, not trying to intervene.
After he was finished he started ominously walking towards her with his face now expressionless and eyes blank, which was even more creepy than that slasher smile from before. And before Lyra even noticed he lifted her with his hands.
Minutes pass and he simply continues to hold her in his hands. In complete silence. Staring at her with scary, flat expressionless face.
She trembles in fear and looks back at him not knowing what to expect.
Terror continues and reaches it's peak when he finally speaks...
