Silver woke up and noticed they were still on the road. Silver asked his driver where they were and he told him they were currently in West Virginia meaning they were close to Fillydelphia. As Silver and his driver were talking everyone else woke up and decided now would be a good time to stop for breakfast. They stopped by a truck stop near the border to Pennsylvania and decided to grab something to go and get back on the road so they can get info on the other three teams that survived the second round. As Silver and his team finished eating they arrived at their hotel and then unpacked their stuff. Silver went to the front desk to check him and his team in.
“ I'm checking in for Team Silverwing,” Silver said before the receptionist checked his reservations.
“ Ah yes Team Silverwing you guys are the final team to arrive your in the suite next to Team Nebula,” The Receptionist said while giving Silver four room keys.
Lyra and the others arrived just in time for Silver to give them their keys and to load their luggage for the bellhop to carry. They entered the elevator and just like last time reached the top floor and entered their suite. Everyone agreed with the same sleeping arrangement as last time and relaxed before the big event.
Meanwhile back in Canterlot City Sunset and the others were relaxing on the hill overlooking the outdoor stage until a girl with long orange hair blue eyes wearing a light blue mini dress with blue jeans and boots came up to them.
“ Excuse me but are you guys the Rainbooms?” The girl asked.
“ yes we are and you are,” Sunset asked back.
“ My name is Bloom and I have a question have you seen these three,” Bloom said while holding up a picture of three girls.
“ No, we have not,” Sunset said before another girl with long blonde hair tripped and knocked bloom into Sunset activating Sunset’s magic. Sunset saw into Bloom’s mind and saw all the battles Bloom and her friends had with these girls they were looking for. Sunset took a moment to recover before asking about her and her friends.
“ What exactly are you and your friends and why do you fight these girls?” Sunset asked.
“ What are you talking about Sunset,” Sci-Twi asked.
“ When Bloom bumped into me just now I saw into her mind and seen some pretty strange things and I see she and her companions are not human,” Sunset replied.
“ No point in hiding it now your right we are not human we are fairies and as you may have seen those girls we are looking for are a group of evil witches called the Trix and just now we noticed they escaped from the prison we made specifically for them and we have no idea where they are now,” Bloom said while helping her friend up. The rest of Bloom’s friend arrived just in time for introductions.
“ These are my friends Stella, Flora, Musa, Techna, and Aisha,” Bloom said before Sunset took her turn to introduce her friends.
“ Nice to meet all of you I,m Sunset Shimmer and these are my friends Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie,” Sunset said before Techna shared something with Bloom.
“ I have some good news and some bad news Bloom,” Techna said.
“Let's start with the good news,” Bloom said.
“ The good news is I found a huge lead on where the Trix are,” Techna said before pulling out a PDA.
“ And the Bad News?” Bloom asked.
“ See for yourself,” Techna said as she showed everyone a display of the Final Four Tournament bracket. Everyone was in shock over what they saw but the Rainbooms were even more shocked.
“ Why are you guys so shocked?” Stella asked.
“ If these three are as dangerous as you said they were then our friends may be in more danger than they ever were before,” Sunset said in a scared tone.
“ Do you guys know Team Silverwing?” Musa asked.
“ More than you know they consist of three of our close friends Lyra Heartstrings, Lightning Dust, and Silver Chance,” Sunset replied.
“ Then there is no time to lose we must stop them before it's too late,” Bloom said.
“ I’m afraid it may be too late already you see Silver and his team left for Fillydelphia yesterday and by my calculations, they should have arrived at their destination already,” Sci-Twi said.
“ And what Calculations would those be?” Techna asked.
“ Well it takes hours to drive from state to state and traffic is always a variable to take into account so if we add that to the usual travel time along with the fact a trucker could go for days without sleep Silver and his team should be relaxing in their hotel room by now,” Sci-Twi said as she showed her work on her tablet.
“ Not to mention getting there in time is a problem even with my super speed I would be too worn out before I could even reach the state border,” Rainbow pointed out.
“ Well there is one thing we could try but I'm not sure we could all fit,” Sunset said before pulling out her phone and dialing a number.
“ Who are you calling Darling?” Rarity asked.
“ Silver obviously I need to warn him before he and his team get hurt,” Sunset replied.
Meanwhile back in Fillydelphia Silver and his team were preparing for tomorrow’s duel. After Silver received the bracket for tomorrow he thought back to what Sky told him and informed his team to be ready to face some very dangerous foes. As they were preparing Silver’s phone rang and he noticed Sunset was calling.
“ Hello,” Silver said.
“ Silver you need to stop your in great danger,” Sunset said frantically.
“ If you're talking about Team Trix we already know and it’s going to take more than a little frostbite to take us down,” Silver replied.
“ Silver just stop before you guys get hurt you already proved your strength but this is not equestrian magic you're dealing with its something far more dangerous,” Sunset pleaded.
“ Team Silverwing never backs down beside we need to keep fighting we have an even tougher opponent ahead of us,” Silver pointed out before hanging up.
After that conversation with Sunset Silver warned his teammates about the danger they may face and despite that, they agreed to keep fighting. Everyone went to bed ready to face the Trix.
The next day Silver and his team arrived at the stadium ready to take on the Trix. As the other teams arrived the Mc prepared to make his announcement.
“ Welcome ladies and gentlemen to the final four tournament and now let's introduce the four teams that fought their way to reach this point so first up the team from Canterlot City California representing the west Team Silverwing,” The Mc shouted as Silver and his team entered the Stadium.
“ Next up we have the team from Maremont Florida representing the south Team Nebula,” The Mc shouted as Team Nebula entered the Stadium looking as fierce in person as they were on tv.
“ Next up the team from Seabrook New Hampshire representing the north Team Trix,” The Mc shouted as the Trix entered the Stadium acting like they were just normal people when Silver already knows the truth about them.
“ And finally the team from Aspen Colorado representing the midwest Team Diamond,” The Mc shouted as the final team entered the Stadium.
“ And now that we introduced our teams time to get things started so our first match will be Team Trix vs Team Silverwing good luck to both sides and now let's begin,” The Mc shouted as the fireworks filled the skies above the stadium.
Both sides prepared for the match and set up their stations. While Silver and Ratchet did their checks on their runners the Trix were gearing up for the first match. After everyone was ready the first duelists for both teams took their positions at the starting line.
“ Taking the first leg for Team Trix is the diva of lightning Stormy and taking the first leg for Team Silverwing is the musical prodigy of Canterlot City Lyra Heartstrings,” The Mc shouted as the crowd erupted in cheers and applause.
“ And now for the best part activating the Action Field Speed World V,” The Mc shouted as he snapped his fingers and caused some jumps, ramps, and half-pipes to manifest before both runners activated their duel disks.
“ DUEL MODE ENGAGED AUTO-PILOT STANDING BY,” A computerized voice said as both screens displayed a field display.
Both duelists took off and Stormy rounded the corner before Lyra and got the first move.

A mountain began to rise from the center of the stadium and on the summit of that mountain was a medieval castle. A little girl with purple hair wearing a black dress riding a broomstick flew into the stadium laughing.

Lyra was expecting Stormy to Synchro Summon by this point but Stormy had other plans for her.
“ Finally I set two cards face-down and end my turn,” Stormy said as two set cards appeared behind her monsters.
“ My turn I draw,” Lyra said as she drew her sixth card. Lyra was already weak and her turn just started. Stormy interrupted Lyra before she could make her move.
“ I,m not done with you yet loser during your Standby Phase I activate my Trap Power Short,” Stormy said as a trap with an image of a bolt of lightning causing a power box to explode flipped face up. This card inflicts 400 points of damage for each Thunder-Type monster I currently control so since I have two you take 800 points of damage. A bolt of lightning was fired from Stormy’s card and nailed Lyra from behind thus hurting her some more.

“ Ok I’m getting sick of this so first I activate the Continuous Spell Valhalla Hall of the Fallen this allows me to Special Summon one Fairy-Type monster when I have no monsters on my field so I will use it to Summon Guardian Angel Joan from my hand. Joan descended from the Bifrost and prepared to fight.

Joan began playing a crimson flute and suddenly the whole stadium was filled with her peaceful melody.
“ Now that I stopped you from hurting me further Time to Battle Joan attack Red Charge. Joan fired a beam of concentrated light at Red Charge but Stormy was prepared for it.
“ I knew you would go after my monsters so now I activate my Trap Urgent Tuning now I can Synchro Summon during the Battle Phase so I will do just that by tuning my Level three red Charge with my Level four Purple Spark to Synchro Summon a creature that will wipe your angel off the field. Red charge turned into three stars and then three green rings that encircled Purple Spark and turned her into four stars that fell into alignment.

“ Yeah well because of the battle you still take damage. Stormy was suddenly hit by the damage from Joan.

“ I end my turn by setting two cards face down,” Lyra said as three set cards appeared behind Joan.

“ My turn I draw,” Stormy said as she drew her card. Stormy was furious now that her burn effects were pointless now but still kept fighting. Stormy saw what she drew and smiled.
“ First I activate the Spell Pot of Hatred by milling five cards from my deck I can draw two cards. Stormy milled her top five cards ( WindWitch - Glass Bell, WindWitch - Ice Bell, StormWitch - Green Jolt, WindWitch - Gust Bell, StormWitch - White Flash) then she drew her two cards and smiled at what she drew.
“ Now it's time I showed you something more powerful but First I activate the Spell WindWitch Storm Front,” Stormy said as a spell with an image of Glass Bell and Ice Bell calling forth a tornado appeared. By paying 500 life points I can Special Summon up to two Wind Witch Monsters from my GY in Defense mode so welcome back my Wind Witch - Glass Bell and Wind Witch - Ice Bell. Two witches flew out of the sky one with a white outfit and teal hair and another in a similar outfit but with ice blue hair.

Blizzard Bell unleashed a mighty blizzard onto the field and everything was starting to freeze over. Lyra was scrambling for ideas until the intense wind from the blizzard blew a clutch Action Card her way. Lyra caught it and smiled after seeing what she grabbed and activated it.
“ Sorry Stormy but your blizzard is canceled I activate the Action Spell Spirit Sealing this negates Blizzard Bell’s effects until the end of the turn. Blizzard Bell was tagged with a spirit tag that drained her power.
“ Fine but I still have my monster’s attacks to hit you with so I will start by having Blizzard Bell attack your Joan with White Out Flash. Blizzard Bell sent out a concentrated blizzard aimed for Joan. Lyra reacted to the attack by using one of her set cards.
“ I activate my Trap Draining Shield not only does this stop your attack I also gain Life Points equal to your attacking monster’s attack point. A forcefield appeared around Lyra and the Blizzard was absorbed by it as Lyra grew stronger.

“ Yeah well, I still have another attack loser lets see you dodge this Thunder Queen attack her Joan with Thunderbolt Barrage. Thunder Queen unleashed a whole bunch of Lightning bolts from the sky and sent them flying towards Joan. Lyra was worried until she spotted another Action Card but unfortunately so did Stormy. Stormy hit the gas on her runner and out sped Lyra thus winning her the Action Card. Stormy was not happy with what she grabbed but had no choice but to use it.
“ I activate the Action Trap Battle End this ends the Battle Phase and we both gain 600 Life Points. Both Lyra and Stormy were covered in a blue aura.

“ First I summon Freya, Spirit of Victory in attack mode. Freya appeared out of a puff of pink smoke and began to cheer.

“ Maybe but since she is on my field all Fairy-Type monster I control gain 400 attack points and as long as I have another Fairy-Type monster out you can't attack her. Stormy was a bit annoyed by this sudden move.
“ Next I activate the Spell Card of Sanctity now we both draw until we both have six cards in our hand. Both Lyra and Stormy drew until they both had six cards in their hand. Lyra was glad she drew more options.
“ Next up I activate the Spell Fairy Guide,” Lyra said as a spell with an image of a blue pixie guiding a brave knight appeared. This card allows me to Special Summon a Level Five or higher Fairy-Type Monster from my hand and with it I Special Summon Mozarta the Melodious Maestra in attack mode. Mozarta sang as she landed next to Freya.

“ They will once I play the Quick-Play Spell Double Cyclone by destroying one of my Spell or Traps I can destroy one of yours so I will destroy my Hall of the Fallen along with your Stronghold. Two tornadoes appeared the first one destroyed Lyra’s Spell and then combined with the other one and destroyed Stormy’s castle along with the mountain it once stood upon.

“ With your stronghold now destroyed my monsters can now win against yours but first I will use Mozarta’s effect to Summon Priestess of the Sky from my Hand. A woman with long blonde hair wearing a golden greek dress wielding an enchanted gold sword appeared and prepared to fight.

“ Before I get to what my Priestess can do I think a change in scenery is in order so I activate my Field Spell The Sanctuary in the Sky. A cloud bank formed and a temple formed on top of it.
“ While this card is in play all battle damage involving my Fairy-Type monsters is reduced to 0 and now that my Sanctuary is in play my Priestess’s effects activate first all effect Damage you take is doubled and all effects that restore my Life points are doubled so looks like I win. Lyra thought she now had the edge until Stormy noticed an Action Card high above and used the half pipe to grab it. Stormy was glad she grabbed something that could help her this time.
“ Time to break through your combo loser I activate the Action Spell Elimination not only does this destroy your strongest monster but you also take 1000 points of damage. Stormy thought she had this one until Lyra made your move.
“ I don't think so I activate the Counter Trap Sentinels in the Sky,” Lyra said as a trap with an image of divine angels shooting light arrows at an incoming dragon appeared. I can only activate this trap while Sanctuary in the Sky is on my field and when you target my cards with an effect that destroys them not only does this negate that effect you also take 800 points of damage and since my Priestess is on the field that damage is doubled so now you take 1600 points of damage. The sentinels from the card appeared and fired a barrage of light arrows at Stormy’s action card and destroyed it. The remaining arrows were powered up and struck Stormy hard.

“ So that's why you would risk letting me draw more cards so you could reach your Sanctuary and set up this combo,” Stormy said in shock.
“ That's right and now that my cards are in place time to battle Joan attack Blizzard Bell. Joan gathered light energy and fired it at Blizzard Bell. Story reacted to the attack.
“ If you think I’m letting you destroy my monster your crazy I activate the Effect of WindWitch - Gust Bell from my GY by banishing her I can prevent a WindWitch Monster I control from being destroyed in battle. An afterimage of a girl with white hair riding a broomstick appeared and formed a wall of wind around Blizzard Bell sending the light energy upwards.
“ So you still take the damage from my attack. Stormy was suddenly hit by the energy that was deflected.

“ You may have survived one of my attacks but I still have two more let's see you dodge this Mozarta attack Thunder Queen. Mozarta summoned her baton and fired a score of music notes at Thunder Queen. Stormy was irritated until she noticed a clutch Action Card above her and grabbed it. She looked it over and activated it.
“ Looks like I live this round I activate the Action Spell Double Dodge this allows me to block two attacks so it looks like your all out of attacks. Lyra felt like she could not end this.
“ Fine, I end my turn by setting one card Face Down,” Lyra said as a set card appeared behind her monsters.
“ My turn I draw,” Stormy said as she drew her seventh card. Stormy had so many options now and took her time deciding what she should do. Stormy decided to show Lyra her ultimate weapon and try to finish her with it.
“ First I activate the Spell WindStorm Fusion,” Stormy said as a spell with an image of Winter Bell and thunder Queen fusing together. This allows to Fusion Summon a Fusion Monster that lists a WindWitch or StormWitch monster as material using monsters on my field and/or in my hand so I will Fuse Blizzard Bell and Thunder Queen to Fusion Summon my ultimate weapon. Blizzard Bell and Thunder Queen rose up and began spinning in the fusion vortex.
“ Mighty Queen that commands the elements of nature combine with the head witch of the frozen north and become the ultimate force of nature! Fusion Summon! Appear! Level Twelve! Ultimate WeatherWitch - Hurricane Empress! A witch wearing a regal golden dress with some silver storm and wind designs on it wielding a golden two-headed snake like scepter with a topaz in one mouth and an emerald in the other appeared and unleashed a very ominous laugh.

“ Pretty strong Monster you have too bad you can't hurt me with it,” Lyra pointed out.
“ Not yet she can't because when she is successfully Fusion Summoned she destroys all cards on the field other than herself and you take 800 points of damage for each card destroyed so since she is the only card on my field I have nothing to destroy but you have eight cards on your field so that 6400 points of damage coming your way looks like its game over you-you loser. Hurricane Empress unleashed 100 mph winds on the field and the stadium was being torn apart like it was caught in the middle of an actual category five hurricane as All of Lyra’s card were swept away by the winds and Stormy was about to celebrate her victory until Lyra came out alive and still in the game.

“ That’s impossible how are you still standing my Monster’s effect should have reduced your life points to 0?” Stormy asked shocked by what she was seeing.
“ It would have is not for my Trap Fairy Bond this card restored my Life points by 500 for every Fairy-Type monster I controlled so I was able to recover enough life to survive your Hurricane,” Lyra said while looking for Action Cards that were not blown away by the wind. Lyra noticed one of the Action Cards falling and grabbed it just in time. Lyra knew she was done for and decided to use the Action Card she grabbed to deliver one final blow before Stormy crushed her.
“ I may be going down but not before I take some of your life with me behold the Action Spell Phoenix Arrow this inflicts 1500 points of damage to you. The horn on Lyra’s runner fired an arrow made of fire that took the shape of a phoenix and nailed Stormy for some major damage.

“ Time for me to finish you Hurricane Empress attack this loser directly with Ultimate Gale Force Slash. Hurricane Empress conjured up a massive tornado that sent a barrage of compressed blades made of wind that were sent flying towards Lyra. Silver and Lightning were now staring at what may be Lyra’s end. Lyra was ready to accept her doom until a life-saving Action Card that was swept up by the severe winds from earlier fell into Lyra’s lap and she swiftly activated it.
“ I activate the Action Spell Evasion looks like I’m not dying here or anywhere today Stormy because I dodge your assault. Lyra maneuvered through the blades like an expert and then made it safely out of the storm.
“ You may have dodged that but let's see you dodge my Empress’s effect once per turn I can target a WindWitch or StormWitch monster In my GY and you take 400 points of damage times that monster’s level so I target Blizzard Bell and since she is Level eight that's 3200 points of damage lets see you avoid this. Hurricane Empress sent of whirlwind flying out of the emerald on her scepter and Lyra was hit with enough force to rip her riding suit in certain places but luckily not damaging the baton for her team.

Lyra droved back to her team’s pit and passed the baton to Lightning who was waiting patiently for your turn.
“ Be careful out there Lightning these girls have the ability to inflict real damage and I have a feeling this is just the tip of the iceberg,” Lyra said as she passed the baton to Lightning.
“ Relax Lyra thanks to you Stormy is now hanging on by a thread and I doubt all three of them use the same deck so once she’s out the Empress will not be able to use her effect,” Lightning said before taking off.
Silver told Lyra to head to the infirmary to have the cuts she sustained looked at and treated. Lyra did just that while Silver kept his eyes on the duel.
Five minutes earlier in the skies above Sunset and her friends both old and new were riding in the private jet Silver gave Sunset permission to use for when they departed for Manehattan but Sunset told the pilot they needed to leave much earlier since it was a literal matter of life and death. As they were flying over Virginia the pilot noticed a massive tornado appear on the horizon and then noticed it disappear a bit after it formed. The pilot found it strange how a tornado would appear in the middle of sunny skies.
“ That is most certainly Stormy’s handy work but what are those small things that are slowly coming down,” Techna asked noticing the specs.
“ My guess Action Cards whatever Stormy did must have swept them up and now the match has turned into a matter of luck,” Sunset replied.
“ How long before we get there,” Stella asked impatiently.
“ Assuming the weather does not change again five minutes,” The Pilot said through the intercom.
As they flew closer to the Airfield in Fillydelphia the first leg of the duel ended and a much greater opponent was waiting in the wings.
