Double the drama

"I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU EMBARRASSED ME IN FRONT OF EVERYPONY!" Rainbow Dash yelled at Soarin. Rainbow Dash and Soarin were arguing about what happened in the stadium earlier today. Rainbow Dash wasn't pleased with Soarins actions.

"HOW IS IT EMBARRASSING SAYING I LOVE YOU?!" Soarin yelled at Rainbow Dash.

"BECAUSE YOU DON'T MEAN IT AND NO MATTER WHAT YOU SAY IT DOESN'T MEAN ANYTHING!!" Rainbow Dash bursted into tears. Soarin breathed out Rainbow Dash's name and came closer to her to confront her. "DON'T TOUCH ME!" Soarin immediately backed away from Rainbow. Soarin wanted to calm down Rainbow Dash but he was powerless.

"Do you really think I would've tricked you Rainbow?" Soarin asked. Rainbow Dash started to nod her head, "your wrong Rainbow. Like I said I've been in the same position you are in, I've been afraid to love too. Why do you think it will be the same? Just forget what Thunderlane did to--"

"I lied about Thunderlane cheating on me. We actually broke up with each other but are still friends today," Rainbow Dash interrupted Soarin.

"I don't get it..." Soarin thought for a second, he pondered carefully on Rainbow's words. He tried to remember moments in the past that were relevant to Rainbow's words, but nothing clicked to his mind.

"I'm not afraid to love anyone Soarin, I'm afraid of becoming close to you." Rainbow Dash mumbled.

"W-Why? D-Did I do something wrong? D-Did I say something that you didn't like? Did I confess to you to early and you weren't ready?!" Soarin shouted

"IT'S NOT YOU IT'S ME!" Rainbow Dash yelled back at Soarin, more and more tears escaped Rainbow Dash's eye.

"Please, just tell me why you can't be with me?" Soarin begged Rainbow Dash, "please?"

"If you really want to know so bad, fine! Soarin when I was sixteen I tried to murder you! My mom was a general for a spy company who wanted to do bad things who wanted to hurt, kill, torture the most of the powerful people in Equestria so she could run this Celestia damn world! She assigned me on my first mission to murder you and your parents along with Fleetfoot. I had to go undercover and live with my dad and pretend I'm all sweet and innocent. The day of when I was supposed to murder you, you were my first target. You were fast asleep and I was just about to stab a knife through your heart but as I came closer to you, you woke up and I lost my chance to kill you. Then you asked me who I was but I didn't say my name because I felt like I was going to get caught. As time passed we got to know each other but later on my mother found out that I didn't complete my mission so she went out herself to kill you. I stopped her but I paid the price, instead of you and your family being dead my mother murdered my father. I feel like if we get into a relationship I'm going to hurt you more." Rainbow Dash explained.

"Wait, you were the mystery mare who appeared in my room that night?!" Soarin exclaimed.

"Y-yes," Rainbow Dash cooed. Out of the blue Soarin came closer to Rainbow Dash and started to hug her. Rainbow Dash was very surprised. Why is Soarin hugging me? I tried to murder him for Celestia's sake! Rainbow couldn't help herself but hug him back. "Why are you hugging me?"

"I knew there was something odd about you. I felt like you looked very familiar, and to be honest I'm not mad at you because I can never be mad at you," Soarin replied.

"W-what? You s-should hate me! I-I m-mean I tried to m-murder you. H-How can you s-say everything is alright when it's not?" Rainbow Dash boldly stated.

"True but, you said after you got to know me and when your mother was set out to kill me and my family, you didn't let her touch me. Instead you protected me and my family, I don't see why I should be mad with you. In fact I'm glad you chose me but I'm truely sorry about your father." Soarin softly responded.

"Still I can't. Even though you still wanna be around me after what I tried to do to you, I'm afraid I'm going to hurt you, and I don't want that because I care about you." Rainbow Dash whispered the last part.

"Did you say something because I couldn't hear you?" Soarin asked.

"I said I'm afraid I'm going to hurt you." Rainbow Dash answered, she paused then looked away from Soarin. "I can't be around you much longer. Like I said it's not you it's me, I'm just afraid I'm going to hurt you again."

Soarin sighed, "The only pony hurting is you Dashie. Look at me, I don't care if you were about to hurt me then and I don't care if you hurt me now. I'm saying this because I know deep down in your heart you would never hurt me and that you really care for me a lot."

Rainbow Dash broke the hug and placed her hoof on Soarins chest. "I hear what your saying Soarin but, I think it's better if we see other ponies and that we should stop hanging out." Rainbow Dash opened her wings and flew away from Soarin leaving him heartbroken. Soarin was about to go after Rainbow Dash but instead he chose not too.

A couple of days later before the Wonderbolts go on leave...

After Soarin and Rainbow Dash's big fight at the stadium, Soarin has been depressed and miserable. In the mornings usually Soarin would get out of bed and wake everypony up in the compound, instead he was in bed not wanting to get up. Near breakfast when the Wonderbolts have to go to the mess hall he would go criticize the food because it is tasteless and disgusting instead he didn't say a word and just ate it. In the afternoon when practice is scheduled he would be really energetic instead he acted all mopey and saying that life has no purpose. At night the Bolt's would hang out together and Soarin would usually be the one who makes the night fun but he did the opposite.

Soarin was laying down in his bed thinking about Rainbow Dash. He tried to stop thinking about her but he couldn't no matter how much he tried. Soarin pondered on Rainbow's words when she said she nearly murdered him. He couldn't stop thinking about what happened today.

"Soarin, can Fleetfoot, Rapidfire and I come in? Please?" Spitfire asked softly. Soarin moaned and did nothing.

"Come on Soarin! You've been acting like this for six days now. Six. Bloody. Celestia. God. Damn. Fucking. Days." Fleetfoot whined. Again Soarin moaned even louder and did nothing. "I KNOW YOU CAN HEAR US!"

"Dude why can't you just forget about Crash? Is she that important to you? Just move on man, find another girl." Rapidfire replied. Soarin rolled his eyes then got up to open his bedroom door.

"I-I c-can't move o-on. D-Dash is i-important t-to m-me," Soarin struggled to respond. Spitfire, Fleetfoot and Rapidfire's eyes shot wide open and looked at Soarin. He looked like he just came out of the trash.

"Soarin quick question, have you taken a shower for the past few days? Cause you smell like you just came out of the trash," Fleetfoot replied while holding her breath.

"I agree with Fleetfoot Soarin, you look awful." Spitfire said.

"So what? Not like I care anyway, she doesn't care for me one bit so whatever. Now if you excuse me I need to catch up on being depressed and a lonely poor soul." Soarin snuffled. As Soarin was going to his room Raipdfire rolled his eyes and started to drag Soarin by his tail. "LET GO OF ME RAIPD!"

"No way Skies, you are going to get yourself freshened up. You smell like the dump, literally. And besides summer vacation is coming up and it's the best time to meet new hotties. Let's go to the bar right now so freshen up." Raipdfire explained to Soarin. Soarin sighed in defeat.

"Fine but under one condition. Please let go of my tail, it hurts badly and it reminds me of Dashie." Soarin whined. Rapidfire let Soarin out of his grasp.

"Now go freshen up, we'll meet you in ten." Spitfire replied while leaving Soarin. Fleetfoot and Raipdfire both followed Spitfire.
