Sunset And Sunset Face To Face

As Human Twilight, Applejack, and Rainbow Dash made their way to the motel again, they’d have to go across the forbidden forest once more. Applejack and Rainbow Dash were still a bit terrified, but Rainbow did remember back in her early years with Fluttershy. Applejack, however, never came close to the woods because her sister, Appleboom, got lost and she asked Big Mac to save her.

Human Twilight managed to get Rainbow and AJ to solve their fear problem by having them hold hands, but it surely didn't help.

“This is really dangerous." Applejack shuddered.

“Can we please use our powers to get to the motel faster?" Rainbow Dash suggested blindly.

Applejack shook her head in disgust. "We ain’t gonna use our powers in this kind of public, Rainbow! Not only would we cause a lot of noise for anyone to hear, but we’d also might have animals attack us!"

Rainbow Dash just kept thinking that Applejack and Sunset were off their comfort zones, despite the magic leaking from Canterlot High.

“You do even know what everyone will think about our powers, right?" she said to herself. Oddly enough, she had told people outside of Canterlot High about her powers as well as her friends’ powers. She couldn't bear the thought of taking all of the credit of what her friends would say anymore. But at the risk of being lectured again, she’d also tell the people she talked to to keep it as a secret.

While the issue was put on hold, they finally got back to the same motel. Human Twilight and her friends walked towards to the apartment, feeling nervous and curious at the same time. Human Twilight knocked Human Sunset's door, and Sunset answered in an instant.

“Hello..." .Human Sunset answered politely before the girls waved back. "Wait a minute… didn’t I saw you yesterday?"

"Yes." Human Twilight nodded, hopefully in a lesser awkward way. "Can we please come in?" Human Sunset paused and thought for a moment, but then decided to let her unwelcome visitors come in. As they entered, they found themselves surrounded by music posters and boxes filled with more of her supplies.

She gathered some chairs for her uninvited visitors to sit down but Human Twilight doesn't want to sit down.

"So... why did you want to see me again?" She asked while she making hot chocolate for herself.

“Well..." Human Twilight tried to explain, despite being speechless about this. "I see that you have a lot of boxes."

"Yeah..." Human Sunset turned to the boxes. "They’re for my supplies for Canterlot High."

“Oh…” Twilight acknowledged. Then came an awkward silence… none of the girls managed to get a word out of them, and neither does she.

“Can you give us five minutes? We’ll be right back..." Rainbow giggled nervously, with Applejack and Twilight following behind. Once she exited the building, she closed the door ran while the others stood behind.

"She's going to Canterlot High!?" Rainbow Dash was the first to exclaim.

"How am I supposed to know that?" Applejack replied, shrugging.

"Okay, just remain calm!" Human Twilight waved her hands. "I think maybe she just want to see it what are school is like unlike hers."

Her friends showed faces of disagreement, seeing that the packages that Sunset have for her maybe different other than school supplies.

"Okay, so we know she wants to transfer to Canterlot High. But, it’s not like she thinks that her counterpart being around is gonna be as awkward as it was now..."

“Twilight!" Applejack and Rainbow Dash yelled at Twilight.

“OKAY! I get it! I should talk to Sunset about this." She answered before taking out her phone and calling her friend.

Meanwhile at Pony Sunset's apartment, Sunset and Pinkie Pie started playing a Daring Do board game to melt down the awkwardness. It was then Sunset's phone starts rang, and she quickly grabbed it to answer.

“Twilight?" she answered. From the other end, Twilight spoke as Sunset was about to drink some water.

“She's going to Canterlot High!!?" Sunset exclaimed, spitting out the water

Twilight tried to calm Sunset down, but the fears came close to her.

"We should try to talk to this world’s Sunset about what's going on. Our friend is freaking out and she really needs to find a way to fix this." Twilight spoke as soon as she hung up. At the same time, Human Sunset was eavesdropping, and hearing about her Pony Counterpart.

“Um…..Are you hiding something from me? And what is this about another Sunset in this world?” Sunset interfered. The other girls were speechless, but it wasn’t till Twilight decided to finally talk to Human Sunset about everything.

“Sunset, I know this is hard to believe, but one of our friends... is indeed like you." Twilight explained.

“Is this supposed to be some kind of joke?” Human Sunset huffed, not even agreeing with that statement.

“No you don't understand." Twilight tried to gain Sunset’s attention.

“What do you mean I don't understand? Human Sunset replied. "I was being nice by letting you in my apartment, and all you've been doing is acting weird. I don't play games!"

Rainbow barged in to the conversation. "We're not playing games! You have no idea what's going on."

Human Sunset has gotten so annoyed as she walked back to her apartment.

"I don't know what's going on, but I'm not getting involved with this." She said while she close her door.

"Come on, let us in!" Applejack yelled. But, Sunset wouldn’t listen to them. It was then she was about to open her unboxed package. Little did she know that there was still magic lingering in the box. Twilight tried to open the door, but it was unfortunately locked. About three minutes later, Sunset stripped the tape off of the package, unaware of the girls really getting on her nerves for how many times they kept knocking the door. She tried to ignore them, but she snapped and gave in to opening the door.

"Will you please leave me alone!?" She yelled, while the package leaked magic. She finally took notice of it, which made her scared to get back in her apartment. The girls pitched in and finished the unwrapping that Sunset did. As soon as the package was open, they saw a black guitar with hot flames. What nobody knew was that the Magic itself was in the guitar, controlling its cords. Twilight didn’t know how to use a guitar, but she’d try to use her powers to keep it stable. As for Human Sunset, she came back in her apartment unharmed because the magic was no longer an issue.

"Okay, now I want to know what's going with this, and this ‘other Sunset’ business you’ve been talking about..." She exclaimed seriously. Twilight finally thought of what to say to Sunset. However...

Sunset had to take back some of her words. "Okay... I can believe you that there's magic from a different world. But, I still don't understand why your friend is the same as me. I still think that all of you are crazy, unless you have any idea what all this is really for."

“You have no idea what we've been doing in Canterlot High." Rainbow exclaimed confidently. "Though, we just want to know why you’re going to Canterlot High.”

Human Sunset explained. "I wanted to be more better in music, and to prove to my parents that I can be independent. I never made any friends, but I always practice hare to become a great guitar player. So, I've been taking jobs and having this good looking guitar for me to show to the principals in Canterlot High. However, my phone services are limited from where I am right now."

As soon as she came close to her guitar, Sunset examined it, seeing that the magic in the instrument stood stable, and didn’t cause any damage to it whatsoever.

“You tried fixing this?" Sunset asked.

"Yes, but not completely. I’ve never played an instrument in my life. But I know someone who can help." Twilight replied. Sunset still had no idea about the whole fiasco.

Human Sunset, along with Twilight and her friends made it to her Pony Counterpart's apartment. But Twilight and her friends hatched a plan to text them so that they all could give the two Sunsets some space. Then, Human Sunset got inside while the others stayed put. As soon as she came up the stairs and to her room, she opened the door slowly and nervously. Unfortunately, she doesn't see her Pony Counterpart anywhere. She looked around, but stopped as she came across several photos on the table. Curiosity ran through her mind before she picked them up, and after examining them, she was shocked. There were memories of her counterpart and her friends during the Friendship Games and Camp Everfree. Underneath them consisted of memories of the Fall Formal and the Battle Of The Bands.

“It can't be... This can't be real!" Human Sunset’s mind was blown. Just when things couldn’t get any weirder, Pony Sunset came out of the bathroom. Human Sunset reacted and turned to see her counterpart before receiving a fright in sight.

"Don’t panic! I know you see it as weird, but that’s just how it works."

"Panic? Who said anything about Panic? Why are you here? No! not that your living here, I mean why are you in this world? Your supposed to be in your world!" Human Sunset exaggerated.

“Calm down! I have a history over my times in Equestria... and here. And I want you to know everything about me..." Pony Sunset explained. Human Sunset took a deep breath and opened her ears to what her counterpart had to say.

Pony Sunset started to explain her life’s events in her best detail, including the last few minutes. After she finished her story, Human Sunset tried to wrap her head around it all. But still, the reasons of being in this world were ridiculous to her. Pony Sunset felt a bit awkward talking because of the fact that she was kind of talking to herself.

Human Sunset angrily blurted out. "I possibly get that you’re a pony from another world, but you shouldn’t have come here in the first place. I mean, if I was in your place, I would just stay in my own world and never come to another world. If you have problems, than you should saddle them by yourself instead of going on your own!"

Pony Sunset took heed of those words and cried. Her mistakes had gotten the best of her, and she really want them rubbed in again. Despite getting used to being reminded of her faults, she couldn’t stand the thought of losing everything she had because of them, including her pride in friendship.

"I’m sorry. I… I didn't mean to hurt your feelings it's just tha-" Human Sunset, sensing pain, tried to calm her down. But, Pony Sunset had to cut her off.

“It's not that it just I want to go on my own way. My life in the Equestria is not like what it use to be anymore.”

“Equestria?” Human Sunset had no idea where Equestria is, or the residence of it.

Pony Sunset shrugged it off. “It’s where I live, or used to. Anyway, I had to impress Princess Celestia in order to get what I want. And now, I felt like I don't need to be there anymore. Plus, I only wished you would stay far away from this town."

Human Sunset understood, and suggested something. "Twilight told me that you’re going to be in Canterlot High soon. Also, I can only think of going to my old home if everyone would see both of us."

Human Sunset followed suit. "If this whole ‘both of us out in the open’ thing is going to be a problem, then I'm sorry. It’s not my responsibly to go away. And, if you want to stay in this world that badly, then we should both go inside of Canterlot High and walk together to the office tomorrow morning ."

“Why? You really want me to believe that everyone will go along with this?” Pony Sunset asked.

Human Sunset nodded. "Your friends told me about the stuff you did, and if you think that everyone in Canterlot High is going to think you don't belong here, than you are really making your fears get into your head. I know most of the people in Canterlot High are very nice like the people at my old school. But to be honest, I never made any friends because I never needed any friends. And even if I did have friends, I would never abandoned them. See, I came to this school because I wanted to become a great guitar player, other than the fact that you’re also a guitar player. And if the classes want us to be in groups, I still don't think I have to get friends, even if you love yours so much..."

Pony Sunset understood her at the most, realizing that her counterpart never had anything in mind when it came to someone who never had friends. But, she might want to teach her about Friendship and more. Of course, she hoped that there would be more to learn for Human Sunset.

"Okay, here’s the deal. Tomorrow, we will go in Canterlot High together and talk to Principal Celestia and Luna." Pony Sunset suggested. After they both shook hands, Pony Sunset called everyone from outside back inside, and told her friends they will both go to Canterlot High out in the open. And if it all went well, their friendship would lead them to a better solution.
