Twilight Sparkle ran at Everfree Florest until the queen’s castle arrived. She had a saddleback, with some books inside. The road was clear. Well, until she came across the Timber Wolves, she used her magic to destroy the timber wolves that were approaching her. After she had destroyed the Timber wolves, she continued her way to the castle, running.
When she finally reached her destination, she stared at the castle gate before closing her eyes, taking a deep breath and opening the door with her front hooves and entering the castle.
As she entered the castle, she turned to the door to close the door with her front hooves. This done, she made her way to the throne room, where Nightmare Moon might possibly be expecting her.
When she finally reached the doors to the closed throne room, she knocked politely on the door with a hull.
“Come in”, a voice came from behind the doors.
Twilight Sparkle opened the door with her front hooves, and saw Nightmare Moon on her throne looking at her, with a smile. She approached Nightmare Moon and when she reached the stairs leading to the throne, she bowed before speaking.
“You called me here for some reason, my queen?” asked solemnly Twilight Sparkle.
“Twilight, you don’t have to be formal with me. After all, you’re my student”, said Nightmare Moon now lifted from her throne, still smiling gently as she approaches her student.
Twilight stared at Nightmare Moon with her ears down, “sorry”, said Twilight Sparkle looking at the floor with shame.
“You no need to apologize, my student”, Nightmare Moon soothed her with a huff in the Twilight’s crinoline.
“So, why did you call me here?” asked again Twilight Sparkle now with her ears raised and looking at her.
“I called you here to the castle, because I would like to spend time with you on the balcony of the castle watching the night sky.”
“So let’s go to the balcony”, said Twilight Sparkle now smiling too.
Nightmare Moon and Twilight Sparkle were now on the balcony of the castle looking at the night sky with smiles on their faces. Twilight put her saddleback on the balcony entrance.
Nightmare Moon decided to look at Twilight Sparkle, who was looking at the night sky with wonder, not even noticing that Nightmare Moon was looking at her in that moment.
Nightmare Moon couldn’t think of anything other than that Twilight seemed to really love and appreciate her night.
One reason she chose Twilight as her pupil was because she had very powerful unicorn magic even for a filly her age had no such advanced spell. Besides that Twilight was dedicated and intelligent and that she was loyal to her. But mostly of the fact, she noted that Twilight, unlike the other subjects, appreciated and loved her night. I mean, of course her other subjects are awake now at night, since she’s eternal now, but they don’t look and admire the same way Twilight does. And when she knew it, she could feel nothing but happiness. Because finally, a pony admires her work. She decided to invite Twilight to the castle to confess her feelings to her student.
“Twilight, I ... I’d like to confess something ...” said Nightmare Moon as a blush began to appear on her cheek.
Twilight Sparkle drew attention from the night sky to look at her queen and teacher to listen to her.
Nightmare Moon looked at Twilight Sparkle before continuing, “Twilight, you are the only pony that seems to admire and love my night, unlike my other subjects, of course the others are awake during the nights, but they don’t admire the same way you do”
“T-thank you. Since filly, I’ve always admired the night sky, I even have a telescope and I even draw constellations in a notebook I have. I also always enjoyed staying up late in the nights for stargazing”, said Twilight Sparkle with a shy smile.
“Is good to hear that. Because it’s hard to find a pony that enjoys the night the way you do”, said Nightmare Moon with a smile.
They were silent for a while before Nightmare Moon finally confess, “Twilight, I ... I love you. Since I realized that you admire and love my night, I began to realize that at least there is a pony that admires my night. When I began to notice these feelings, I thought at first that it was just motherly love, but when I began to teach you spells and magic, and I began to spend time with you in the open hours, I realized that it wasn’t this, it was love of lovers. And the main reason I invite you to come here, besides spending time together, was to confess what I feel about you"
Nightmare Moon was silent once more before finally asking, “so, Twilight. Would you like to be my Marefriend?”
Twilight was now thoughtful about the answer. She put a hoof on her muzzle in thought, and began to think logically, if she had those same feelings too, ’Well, I always admired and loved to notice her. And I have to admit, I always I’ve got Nightmare Moon attractive, especially that she’s kind with me”
With that thought, she made her decision, already knowing what to answer.
“Yes, I do”, said Twilight Sparke with a smile on her face looking at Nightmare Moon.
Nightmare Moon showed a very happy grin of teeth before grabbing Twilight with her front hooves and kissing her passionately on her lips while lovingly caressing her pupil’s mane.
Twilight was taken aback for a few seconds, but then soon let Nightmare Moon kiss her, while caressing her mane, taking care not to end up messing and uncrowding a horsehair
After Nightmare Moon finished the kiss, she looked at Twilight with loving eyes as Twilight was looking shyly at her.
“I love you, Twilight”, Nightmare Moon said affectionately.
“Me too, Nighty”, Twilight Sparkle said with a smile on her face before she and Nightmare Moon kissed again in the moonlight of the eternal night.
