The kingdom of griffonstone was attacked. A army of demons assaulted and tried to seized the kingdom, luckily with the help of the royal sister, element's of harmony, and two demonslayers they were able to stop and defeat the demons that roamed the kingdom.
As of know in the center of griffonstone, a crowd of both ponies and griffon's watch as two battles were about to begin.
On the right was dante facing off against the hunter demon that tried killing cheerest wing. And on the left was nero going up against Beowolf that killed two griffon soldiers that were under the command of captain gilda.
They watched dante and nero stare down the two high-tier demons. They both had their reasons in fighting the demon leaders, and the most focused reason was that they were pissed. The hunter demon not getting hurt by dante's attacks, and beowolf possibly killing Gilda and the griffon girl Nero saved.
Beowolf snarled at Nero, the ponies and griffon soldiers kept their guard up just in case. Beowolf was irritated by the smell coming from nero "I will purge your scent off this world!"
Nero glared at him. A glare that could freeze one in place and wish they could die easily, he said "That won't be happening. When this is over, death will be the only thing you smell" Nero slammed red queen into the ground, he revved her handle, the blade heating into EX mode.
Dante glared at the Hunter demon, but smirked "With your body exposed this will be easy. Your going down monkey!"
Hunter growled at dante "Your life is already forfeited. I'll hang your flesh on my wall" everyone except Dante cringed and almost some of the girls gagged at how disgusting Hunter phrased it.
Dante said "Keep dreaming demon! Only the strong survive, I'm way pass your league" he pointed his thump at himself, Dante swung rebellion a bit. He pointed the blade at Hunter "You'll be my second boss kill" he held his sword by his side "Prepare yourself!"
It seemed like hours as they continued to stare each other down. Time was forgotten as a chunk of rock fell off a house, when it hit the ground dante and nero's eyes harden and they both charged their opponents.
Nero used "EX Streak" propelling himself at beowolf while spinning, beowolf dodged the attack by jumping up and hovered in midair thanks to his wings. Roaring he dropped down intent on smashing Nero. Nero jumped back in time before beowolf smashing down into the ground, rolling and leaping back on his feet, the two were once again distance away from each other.
Caution was out of their minds for them both, Nero ran at beowolf, and him doing the same. When they got close beowolf swung his right claw at Nero, dodging and leading to side of his swing nero capitalise and went in for a hit. Red queen wasn't heated but it didn't matter, Nero jumped up and slashed beowolf's front waist.
Beowolf was tough so nero's attack didn't harm him much, just a scratch to the huge demon. Beowolf sent a fist down at nero, he dodged to the side and stabbed red queen into his arm. That actually hurt beowolf as he roared in pain, he swung his arm into a building. He felt nero's hold on him release. Beowolf was going to smash the building with nero inside but a large wooden plank was sent at him, smashing against his face and blinding him, he open his eyes to see a boot smash into his face and send him to the ground.
Nero used the plank as a distraction so that he could get close and get a solid hit. Kicking beowolf to the ground, Nero landed on his feet as beowolf rubbed his sore face.
He growled at nero "You.... how are you this strong. Something so small shouldn't have such strength?!"
Nero didn't much care, he wanted to kill beowolf for the lives he's taken "Shut your mouth dog, you should be more worried about your life. It will end here today" nero crouched down slightly in a sword stance with red queen in his left hand. Beowolf stood back up and they resume their battle.
As for dante, he ran at Hunter just like nero did but kept on going until he was up close. Leaping up dante went in for a swing, Hunter pulled back his arm with his large dagger grasped in hand. Swinging down at dante, him doing the same, their weapons clashed. Their strength knocking them both back, halting themselves and moving back in at each other, the two did battle swinging their blades around intent on killing the other.
Sparks appeared when ever their blades met. Dante put more power in his swings than before, knowing holding back would not be wise, he got hunter to move back from his attacks. Hunter maybe blocking and evading but he couldn't land a hit on dante either not to mention dante's forceful approach that left Hunter stepping back from dante's sword blows against his dagger.
Everypony, and griffon watch in amazement as dante and nero face off the demon leaders. The ponies such as the main six, and princesses already seen them fight, and display their skills when facing berial and the dreamrunner, but they couldn't help but be amazed by their strength and movements. Pony guards and griffon soldiers watched intently at them both, their skills in combat looking weak compared to dante's and nero's.
Black beak was also in awe as him and his family watch two so called demonslayers fight two high-tier demons singlehandedly, black beak said "My word! Those two are more skilled than my entire army of soldiers. I have never heard or seen beings called demonslayers, but this very much proves it" he looked between Nero and Dante keeping an eye on them both.
Celestia smiled at black beaks comment "I will agree black beak. I myself thought the same when they saved me and Luna from the demons that attacked canterlot. Watching them again is a sight to see"
Cheeriest wing was only looking at dante's fight as she gushed over him "This is incredible! Sir Dante is trading blows with that monster, his bravery to not only save me but fight for our kingdom is honorable" she cheered for dante, as rainbow dash, pinkie pie, and twilight sideways glare at her.
White feather was just like her husband, surprised "When you told us that their powerful skilled warriors I didn't really believe you both. But know seeing it, I'm more surprised to be honest" the sisters felt slightly bad that white feather didn't believe them, but knew she was a griffon that's hard to persuade.
Luna rolled her eyes at her "Well look and behold white feather. Our knew found friends show how true our words spoke of them" she teased at white feather that glared at her.
Torrent sky's and the rest of the guards watched nero's fight, they kept a close eye on the fight watching nero's moves and fighting prowess, their respect for him grew, not only of nero's leadership skills but his combat skills.
Talon shot agreed with Luna, but said "True princess Luna, but it seems their opponents are just as formidable" and he was right, beowolf unlike berial was actually doing better than the flame demon, and Hunter unlike dreamrunner faced drake in battle and seemed to be fairing well.
A powerful gust of wind surprised everyone as they covered their faces. Looking at where it came from, they saw nero above beowolf with his sword striking something. Looking closer it was beowolf's wings blocking nero's strike. With a mighty roar beowolf open his wings and sent Nero away from him. Landing on his feet Nero watched beowolf fly into the air, his wings glowed and suddenly he fired glowing feathers at him.
Knowing that anything a demon throw at you is lethal, nero moved and dodged the feathers. Beowolf's wings were wide open so some of his feather was aimed at everyone else. Thinking fast celestia, Luna, twilight, and starlight created a shield to block the feather.
Applejack got mad at beowolf for firing at them "That darn ugly mutt! Nero! Kick his flank"
Nero heard her and went to do as she said. Studying the feathers coming at him, nero was able to smack them away as he headed for beowolf. Seeing this, beowolf released his demonic power and sent flurries of feathers at nero moving faster than before.
Thinking fast nero slammed red queen into the ground, revving her up until she was in EX mode. He pulled her out of the ground, he spun backward and slashed diagonally sending a wave of fire out of red queen and at beowolf. The burning wave torched beowolf's feathers and was close to hitting him, luckily beowolf pulled his wings and blocked it. He felt his wings start to burn from the attack, and the force pushing him back in the air.
Beowolf grunted, ignoring the pain "Damn creature. He's putting up a fight I haven't faced in a long time" while thinking beowolf heard something soar towards him, before he could do anything it hit and exploded on contact. The attack was far stronger than the wave and sent beowolf to the ground while yelling in pain.
He got back up and looked over at Nero. In his hands was a flaming bow with a fire arrow glowing in intensity. Nero fired the arrow making beowolf widen his red eyes and move out of the way. The arrow flew until it hit the ground causing an explosion like before.
Growling beowolf sent his feathers at him, but nero rolled out of the way, he crouched lining himself before firing another arrow calling his attack "Blast Shot" that forced beowolf to pull his arms up and block the explosion faring better than before. He moved his arms to see nero not in front of him. Confused he looked around side to side but still not seeing him, everyone else also looked for him because they were looking at beowolf that block the arrow.
Above them on top of the roof, nero ran around unknown to beowolf. Jumping up Nero was right above beowolf. Beowolf thinking used his sense of smell to find him, when he did it was already to late. Nero used "Split" diving down at beowolf, he looked up in time for Nero to slam red queen in his faced and slam him into the ground.
The slam attack created a large cloud around the two. Everyone watching couldn't see a thing inside, they were startled when nero came out, leaping backwards with red queen in his hands. Nero breathed out, this fight was nothing like the first boss fight "Bastards strong, the game about him wasn't messing around" Nero thought.
Looking at the cloud two red eyes opened within. In a angered roar beowolf waved his wings and blew the cloud away. Nero covered his face from beowolf's action, looking back nero was faced with beowolf charging over to him.
Beowolf sent an overhead claw at Nero, he dodged to the left but had to raise red queen to block a fast punch by beowolf. His boots grinded the ground from the force, pushing him back. Stopping himself, Nero looked to see beowolf charging at him again.
Not wanting to get pushed back again, Nero pulled out blue rose in his right hand and fired a "Charge shot 2" that hit beowolf making him stop and stun the demon. Using that chance nero ran to beowolf that cleared himself. Seeing nero beowolf swiped sideways at him but nero spun over it and fired another shot that once again stunned beowolf.
Angered by nero's acts, beowolf said "Dammit! I will kill you creature!" Beowolf couldn't see and tried clearing his eyes again but nero didn't let this chance slip and used "Roulette Spin" slashing up his stomach and chest then sending a right kick hitting beowolf on the chest. The kick knocked beowolf slightly off the ground as he dropped flat face first.
Getting up beowolf quickly went back to nero and sending his claw at him. Rolling to the left, Nero dodged his attack as the ground shook. The palm of beowolf's claw shattered the earth where nero was and caused broken buildings to break and fall.
Nero used "Streak" sending himself at beowolf's left leg and slashed it. Beowolf turned and punched downwards, Nero saw the fist coming and back rolled pass it. Getting up nero jumped using "Hopper" to stab red queen in beowolf's shoulder. Revving the handle beowolf felt the stinging heat and quickly tried grabbing him, but nero having red queen in EX again flipped himself up by using his sword propelling his body over beowolf's claw.
Nero slashed at beowolf's face but the demon blocked it with both of his arm. The power and heat was another story because it burned and the slash cut Into his arm, but steeling himself beowolf pushed nero back forcing him away.
The push left Nero in the air defenseless so beowolf sent a fist at him. Seeing it Nero had no choice but to cover his head from the attack. Beowolf struck Nero as he cover his side with his arms, pushing his arm beowolf sent Nero into a building. Nero crashed inside as everyone watched, the guards looked in dispear while everypony else yelled out his name.
Luna, applejack, and fluttershy were the most vocal and sounded most fearful that nero could be badly hurt. Not letting his chance get away, beowolf fired his glowing feathers at the building, destroying everything outside and within the house. He kept on going until it collapsed and left nothing but a pile of rubble.
Beowolf looked at the house, he sniffed to make sure and smelled nothing "Ha! I must have destroyed him that his body left nothing behind" he laughed out loud as the guards pulled their shields up and so did the griffon soldiers just incase he comes to them.
Black beak looked sadden that someone so strong that helped fight against the demons was killed, he looked at celestia "I am sorry this happened my friend. He did his very best in battle"
Celestia looked passive, and her horned glowed. She stopped and smiled, not turning to black beak "Oh I wouldn't say it's over yet black beak" he looked at her confusingly, so did his wife and everyone that heard her.
Beowolf turned and looked where Hunter was, seeing the other demon trading strikes with his opponent but seeing Hunter losing. Beowolf said "Might as well help kill the other one" he was going to do that but someone stopped him.
Shooting out of the rubble, nero was close to beowolf's cheek and in a shout of fury punched his cheek with his devil bringer. The punched hurt, shocked, and made beowolf feel dizzy as the demon was sent to his own building as it crashed down on him. Everyone looked at Nero in shock, mostly black beak and his kind that thought he would die from such a attack from the demon.
Celestia looked at them in a sly way "What? Did you all possible think our dear Nero would lose so easily?" what she said got them to say no, Luna didn't think Nero lost she was mostly worried if he got injured, the same with fluttershy and applejack.
They looked at him, seeing his coat had dust marks on it and his hair completely messy that made rarity gasp and hope to help him clean and fix it. But the most awestrucked was that Nero wasn't harmed. He wasn't bleeding or had any bruises that should be apparent when fighting a strong foe.
Looking at his face, the male guards felt scared and the mares flinched. Nero had on a passive look on his face, but his eyes told them he wasn't happy. 
Nero said while walking over to beowolf "You know, I can't lie that this fight has been enjoyable. This shows how tough and resilient I am, gonna need to work on my tactics when faced against another boss in the future, but that can wait" he reached beowolf and grabbed his exposed hind leg. Grabbing it he pulled and spun, beowolf felt himself get pulled and wailed in confusion as his body started to spin.
Everyone watched with widen eyes as nero so much smaller than beowolf was spinning the large demon with no problem at all. Nero spun, and spun until they looked like a spinning top. He stopped and let beowolf go, sending the demon away and crash to the ground. Nero rolled his shoulder while looking at beowolf, he saw the demon get up slowly but could tell he was both hurt and very dizzy.
Beowolf was faced away from nero, getting up he wobbled but stood tall. Turning he walked carefully back to nero, he stopped a few feet away "You... I'll make you pay with your blood!!" he huffed and breathed out. The Dragon spin nero did tired the demon also.
Nero ruffled his hair, he wanted to end this fight know so he planned his next attack and was ready in just seconds. Nero said "Sorry big guy, but I can't do that. I can have you taste your own blood" nero placed red queen on his back, putting her back inside her sheath. His actions confusing the crowd and wondering what he was doing.
Nero's devil bringer started to glow catching their attention and mostly the guards. Soon a sword appeared in a blue light, one of the guards seeing the sword said in wonder "Lieutenant torrent, that sword" torrent saw the sword and knew instantly this fight was about to end.
Him and the guards smiled, each of them knowing Nero's powers when using the sword when seeing it first hand. Torrent chuckled "That demon got no chance in winning know" the girls and princesses heard him and wondered what was so special about the sword.
Luna said "Care to inform us what your talking about?" she asked.
Torrent said "You'll see princess. Sir nero is going to beat that demon before it knows it's already lost" hearing him they went back to watching nero as he took a crouching stance and had his left hand over the handle.
Beowolf stood strong ready to face nero once more, but he would not get the chance to fight back. Nero said "I'd guard myself if I was you" his hand slowly went to grasp the handle.
Beowolf sneered at Nero "Guard? Like I would listen to my-" he cut himself off when Nero dissapered in a blue flash. Beowolf didn't get the chance to startle back as Nero appeared near his right eye and slash down cutting his eyes.
Before beowolf roared in pain, Nero flashed back where he stood. Beowolf clutched his eyes in pain, flailing his head as his eye was rendered blind. Blood from the wound went down his face.
Everyone was shocked at the speed drake showed. One moment he was crouch down ready to fight, next thing they knew he was gone, appearing near beowolf's right eye, cutting his eye and appearing back. Celestia and Luna didn't know how nero was able to move so fast but suspected it was because of his sword in his hand.
Beowolf went down to all four while he still clutched his right eye. Letting his right hand off his eye, everyone could see the vertical slash mark and the blood leaking out. Beowolf was know beyond furious, he felt humiliated that he was easily wounded by nero.
"Ahhh! You tiny miserable little bastard! I'll kill and eat your corpse for what you did to my eye" he huffed in rage and pain.
Nero looked at beowolf boringly that they all notice. Nero wiped his hair that made Luna, fluttershy, applejack, and the guards mares blush.
Nero said "Your mistake was not guarding yourself like I said. Demons like you never learn, and when you face something stronger than you. All you can do is get angry" nero's body started to glow blue. Just like yesterday night,when Nero faced berial. Nero activated his devil trigger as his demon spirit came out. The release of power blew rocks and wood away from him.
The main six, spike, and princesses looked in awe seeing drake show his power again. Starlight looked in both fear and awe as she could feel nero's demonic energy, powerful and calm like a waterfall. The guards almost dropped their weapons when Nero released his devil trigger. Torrent and them looked in shock and surprise, Nero saying he was part demon being true to them.
As for the griffons, they couldn't sense magic but knew nero was something not normal. Black beak stared at both Nero and his spirit in amazement and fear as such a being could cause a person ruling over a kingdom to feel fear.
Beowolf was startled by nero's sudden change. And like berial he could feel nero's demonic power, the power was so great it seemed endless.
Beowolf looked into nero's red eyes feeling something within him he hasn't felt by only the one person who freed him, and it was dispear, a type of feeling like you had no way out, your time was going to end here and now.
"You us your strength and power to kill those innocent" Nero crouched down, his left hand gripping yamato and his spirit moving with him "I'll use my strength to cut you down, and my power to kill you..."
And like that Nero again flashed and appeared next to beowolf's left front claw and slashed the claw twice, he flashed to the right and did the same, then the back legs slashing both the left and right hind legs as his spirit followed his movement's making nero's slashed not two but four times.
This all happened in five seconds thanks to nero's speed. Cancelling his devil trigger time seem to flow as beowolf felt his arms and legs in pain. Before he dropped to the ground, Nero jumped towards his back and spun his body like a chainsaw and slashed over his back. When he got to the head, Nero stopped and dropped kicked beowolf's head then flashing away.
The display of nero's unknown ability and seeing him appear on beowolf back got them thinking of how fast nero is. To their eyes they couldn't see him until he somehow got on beowolf's back, then flashing away.
Spike was flabbergasted at nero's speed 'Woah.... That's so cool! He's so fast he got behind him with the demon knowing, heck we didn't know either"
Twilight was fascinated by nero's sudden change in skill "Incredible, somehow nero's is moving faster than he was before. That sword must give him properties of speed only for him"
Nero looked at beowolf that struggled to keep himself up. Nero changed that when he used one of vergil's useful abilities, Nero waved yamato and summoned five blue crystallic swords above beowolf. Seeing the swords, everyone looked in bewilderment that nero created swords made out of crystals in thin air.
Waving yamato down, the swords dropped down aimed for his back. Each sword impaled into beowolf making him fall to the ground. His roar sounded weaker than all the other times, but this one sounded badly hurt and sullen.
Sheathing yamato, nero said "Are you going to die lying on the ground? Hmm... a fitting end for a dog needing to be put down" Nero knew beowolf wasn't going to die from his injuries. He said that so beowolf would get up and possible charge at him, and it worked.
Beowolf slowly started to rise on all four appendages. The crystal swords were still inside him but seemed to not mind them. He looked up, his furious one eye aimed at nero, he yelled out in a craze way that startled and scared everyone except the pony princesses, and nero.
Huffing in a tired state, and feeling his body sting every second, beowolf said "I... will not die... someone like me, could never lose!!!" He then suddenly charged at Nero, but this was part of nero's plan all along.
When beowolf got close he lifted his right claw for one final attack slamming his claw down at nero, but nero was fast and agile. He flipped over his claw and pulled yamato out, nero while flipping up slashed four times through beowolf's head and landing on his neck.
Everyone watched in silence as beowolf didn't move. Relaxing his arms beowolf spoke to Nero in a defeated tone "Y-you are no normal demon. Y-your smell reminds me of s-someone. T-to be defeated like this, h-how could this be"
Nero waved yamato with the sheath held behind his back, he slide the sword back inside slowly as he talked back to beowolf one last time "It's really simple. You lost because you were weaker, facing me was your biggest mistake from the beginning. All you smell know is your own blood as you die by my blade" nero clicked yamato inside the scarabard, when he did beowolf face split in half.
The head fell off in four pieces that made the girls bleach and look away. With his battle over and his opponent dead nero leaped off of beowolf as the rest of his body fell down and his wings die out it's light. Blood poured out of his headless body as a bluish white light glowed from his body.
Seeing the light and knowing what it is. Nero putting yamato away stuck his hand out and opened his palm. The light came out as a ball and flew towards nero's hand, a blinding light shined and blinded everyone. When the light dimed down and was gone they all opened their eyes, looking at nero the ponies looked in remembrance while the griffons looked in shock and awe.
Nero stood looking at his new weapons. Equipped on his hands were the gauntlet's from the game vergil obtains by killing beowolf. Just like in the game they glowed white faintly and was made out of powerful black material, even stronger than steel or any other kind of strong metal. But their was a difference, nero's left hand looked just like In the game. But his right hand was morphed, beowolf was fused together with his devil bringer.
His devil bringer looked the same, but the light glowed bluish white and fused with black parts from beowolf that made his right hand look bigger than his left. His spirit also changed and so did his demonic energy color. The color was the same like his devil bringer, and the spirit looked different from his other two. His spirit had two horns coming out of it's forehead, it wore a scaled armor plate around it's chest and torso, it's biggest difference was it had four arms that had gauntlets on each hand that resembled beowolf's claws, his mouth area was covered by a scarf and had a red slash mark over it's right eye.
Nero closed his eyes and let his new found power connect to his demonic energy and when done his devil trigger cancelled by itself, beowolf shined and dissapered into his devil trigger returning to it's normal blue color. Sighing nero relaxed his body knowing his battle was completely over. Also knowing that, the princesses with twilight and starlight dropped the shield over them.
Luna cheered for nero's victory, feeling proud of him "Yes! Sir nero has vanquished the demon, there was no way he would lose" she smiled, not noticing her sister looking at her in a sly smirk.
Spike heard something coming and looked right, his eyes widen and yelled "Look out!!" Grabbing everyones attention. Heading for them was large rocks that the princesses fired with magic, blasting it into pieces. Looking at where it came from they saw dante cutting thrown rocks in half that Hunter been throwing at him from a distance.
He cut another rock and directed it away from the group "Sorry about that" he sheepishly said to them. Getting aggravated, Dante started to charge at Hunter while slicing every rock thrown at him. Hunter stopped throwing rocks and got ready for dante. Getting closer Hunter attacked first swinging his dagger, Dante slid on the ground and put a lot of strength in his swing. Swinging rebellion Dante smacked hunters dagger up in the air, his attack knocking the demons weapon out of his hands.
Hunter surprised and weaponless dante didn't hold back. Switching rebellion for eryx he jumped, punching him in the stomach. His punch forced Hunter to his knees as Dante clocked him in the face sending the demon away rolling. Following him dante again switched weapons choosing osiris.
Hunter got up only to face dante's boot. Kicking the demon but still stood standing, Dante used "Hanger" he spun cutting right, then slashed left, Dante under over slash upwards. He then used "Shredder" spinning osiris forwards cutting his face harshly.
Shaking his head, hunter tried getting Dante off. He went to grab him but dante jumped off, then stabbed osiris into his hand. With osiris hooked dante pulled Hunter down and smashed his face to the ground. He unhooked osiris out of his hand, Dante smiled glad that he could do damage on the Hunter demon "What's wrong? Can't handle getting hurt. Do you want be to stop so that you can put a layer on your skin"
Dante joked and mad fun of Hunter. In anger Hunter jumped up from the ground and tried smashing Dante with his fist, Dante dodged the fist and distances himself. Hunter used that chance to retrieve his dagger, Hunter thought "Grr... damn pest. It pains me to admitte it, but He's far stronger and difficult to fight up close. I going to have to use others means in killing him"
Hunter planned on fighting dante while hidden so he breathed in and exhaled black smoke, the kind he used when hunting the griffons and almost killing cheeriest if dante have not came to save her. He smiled evily at dante as he hid himself within his fog.
Hunter enclosed him and dante inside while everyone looked at the large dome of fog from the outside. Dante looked around him trying to see if he could sense Hunter but found out he couldn't.
He heard Hunter laugh at him that sounded like it was coming from everywhere "Fool, I created this smoke out of myself. The one before was smoke grenades I crafted, you won't be able to find me. I'll enjoy causing you pain as you look around hoping where I will atrack"
When he finished talking a spinning dagger came out, dante dodged to the side but the dagger cut his shoulder because his reaction time was off. His shoulder bled before healing itself thanks to his regenerating powers.
Waiting and looking, the dagger alone came out this time. Dante dodged it without getting hit but once it passed him and back inside the fog, Hunter came out with the dagger in hand and swung at dante. He lifted osiris up blocking the strike and pushing Hunter away as he ran back inside the fog. Hunter appeared again stabbing down at drake that leaped away but forced to jump over a thrown dagger that cut his leg.
Know annoyed and mad dante planned what he should do to stop this. Getting an idea dante waited for Hunter to throw his dagger at him. Waiting it finally came, dante with his instinct's heighten rolled pass the dagger and quickly pulled out ophion latching the claw onto the dagger. Smiling Dante streached the line and sent the dagger in a circle through the fog and hitting Hunter that yelled in pain.
With his focus distributed the fog started to clear. Outside they watched the fog clear and show dante looking fine and Hunter with his dagger stabbed into his side. He grabbed his dagger hissing in pain as he tried to pull it.
Dante yelled "Here I come, monkey!" He ran towards Hunter switching osiris to arbiter. Thinking fast Hunter pulled out his net catcher, aimed at dante and fired. The hook hit the ground and create a stone hand, Dante jumped through the stone fingers and used "Flush" sending a axe blade at hunter, hitting him right on the face. Hunter dropped down to a knee as the hit both hurt and tired him.
Nero took this chance and used "Tremor" an attack that sends a red cracking wave at the enemy. The tremor caused hunter to fall down as his legs were hit by the force. Know down dante summoned rebellion and used "Million stinger" stabbing hunters face repeatedly.
Dante stopped and switched rebellion for eryx. He grabbed hunters head with his left hand and lifted him up, he looked into hunters painful eyes "Better clench your teeth" he charged his right fist "Because this is going to hurt like hell!" He used "Uppercut" and punched Hunters chin as a loud crack came out, he lifted himself and Hunter into the air and sending the demon away as he landed back on the ground.
Hunter crashed on his back in a painful grunt. His chin bone was cracked by dante's punch, he tried getting up but his body was badly hurt and tried, he couldn't move and in thought knew he lost this fight completely even thinking this fight was one sided from the start. His face was littered in cuts and slashes, and his dagger still deep in his side as blood poured out of the wound.
Dante unsummoned eryx and brought back rebellion as he strolled over to hunter. Nero watched the whole fight with the others, he compared it with his fight and gauged that beowolf was much stronger than the Hunter demon. Beowolf was a brawler that fights up close with relentless strength, while Hunter used tricks and his gadgets to out smart and surprise attack his foes.
A huge difference between the two high-tier demons. Seeing Hunter crash to the ground and not get up meant he was tired or he couldn't.
Nero looked to the others, he said "Come on, dante's going to finish him off. I want to ask it a few question before he kills him" Nero started walking as the rest followed behind, the same with black beak and his griffons.
Rainbow flew next to Nero and gushed "Aw man you guys rock! Both you fought those demons like champs, you think you both could teach me your moves?"
Nero thought about it, he said "Hmm, you can ask Dante to do that. He'll most likely teach you some moves" rainbow squealed but calmed herself when she notice she wasn't alone and coughed in her fist as her friends looked at her funny like.
Celestia wondered what Nero wanted to know, and asked him "Nero, what are you going to ask him?"
He turned his head to look at her "I'm going to ask why he attacked griffonstone, and if he knows any other demons like him that are around equestria or further away" as they got to Dante, he was standing on hunters chest speaking to the downed demon.
"Guess this mean your hunting days are over. Sorry not sorry" he said grinning at the angered demon.
He heard them approaching and said "Yo Nero how was your fight?"
Nero looked interested, he said "It wasn't hard, but neither simple. Killed him like the badass I am"
Dante chuckled "Cool, I was going to end this guy right here"
Nero put his hand up to stop Dante "Wait. I got some questions that needs answering" dante moved his sword away and letting nero ask Hunter his questions.
Nero moved near his head, Hunter was able to turn his head to look at Nero "What do you want, pest" he said angrily.
Nero ignored the insult and said "Your going to answer some questions"
He growled at him "And why would I answer to you" Hunter may be beaten but wouldn't let his pride die with him.
Nero smirked "Your about to die. You lost and have no way out of this, might as well tell us what you know. I can tell this wasn't your idea" he chose his words carefully so that he could get Hunter to spill.
Hunter huffed "True, this whole thing was not mine or beowolf's. We attacked to spread demons over equestria, he wanted outpost for demons to settle and grow"
Everyone listen and was intrigued by his information, Luna ordered Hunter "Tell use who this person is demon!"
He tried laughing at her but only came out as coughs and spitting out blood "Like I would tell you that. And even if I did I couldn't tell you, he hid himself from use, never showing his face"
Luna glared at him, she was going to say something else but nero stopped her "He's not lying. He really doesn't know, and would tell us but he's trying to act tough" Hunter flinched, showing that Nero was right.
Nero continued to ask his questions "Ok, what about the other demons. Are they in equestria like you and beowolf?"
"Yes. But I don't know where, most likely scattered around equestria. Some even went further to cause their own caos" he breathed out.
Celestia said "How many on equestria?"
Hunter seemed to think "eight, no ten. I don't know the number but somewhere between those two. He freed many of us and task a few of them"
Nero nodded, they heard a loud bored sigh and seeing it was Dante. He was tappping his foot on hunters chest "Are you done? I would like to finish the asshole that killed innocent griffons"
Black beak and his soldiers agreed with Dante. Nero rolled his eyes "Alright. I got what I wanted, He's all your dante"
Nero moved back to the group. Dante looked down at Hunter "Thanks for the information monkey" he insulted.
Hunter chuckled "It doesn't matter. I'm already dead and soon you all will follow deaths road with me. The one that freed me with the rest has plans, plans that will change everything. Demons in the world will be remembered and feared over equestria. Your lives will be stacks with every other creature in equestria"
Pinkie randomly said "Wow that sounded scary" she was right, the girls and guards felt goosebumps from how cold and serious Hunter spoke.
Dante wasn't intimidated at all, he was actually interested by what Hunter said "Really... sounds like a blast to me. But it's time for you to die monkey, say high to all the demons I killed will you"
Hunter barred his teeth at dante "Don't get cocky worm! I'm nothing compared to the others. You'll die like the son of a bitch you are!!" The girls and spike gasp at the rude remark Hunter said to Dante. Celestia and Luna glared at Hunter, so did the guards that heard him.
Nero facepalmed at how stupid hunter is "What lame last words, demons are just redundant" Nero looked at dante, he could tell that he was mad.
Dante glared at hunter with a smile on his face "Huh... If your calling me the son of a whore you wouldn't the first!" Dante said as he sent rebellion at hunters head, striking into his head and killing the demon in one blow.
Dante pulled his sword out and jumped off Hunter as his body started to glow, his body glowing orange and turning into a ball of light. Both demonslayers looked at the light in surprise seeing as in the reboot game, Hunter doesn't become a weapon when beaten.
Dante's surprise turned to glee as he extended his arm. The ball went towards dante's hand, once again like nero when touched shined out blinding everyone.
Rarity said "My goodness this is starting to get old real quick" Nero couldn't blame her when the outcome creates a blinding like that forces you to close your eyes.
The light died down, and everyone heard Dante yell "Sweet!" Possible from the weapon he got. Opening their eyes they saw Dante holding a unfamiliar weapon the ponies and griffons never seen before, but nero knew what it was and found it interesting.
The weapon in question was a chain sickle. The chain and sickle was red like dante's eryx, and arbiter. was small enough for one hand. The weight at the end was a ball with spikes.
Nero wondered if Dante would only get demon weapons as they'll be fighting demons and not angles because, Dante could also get weapons from them or by something else that's pure.
Dante looked at his new weapon in fasination "This is badass! I got to try this thing" Dante started spinning the chain, everyone moved back as he played with his chain sickle. With dante's strength he was able to spin the chain fast enough to pick up wind, he switched placing spinning the chain left and right before sending the sickle. He swung the sickle really fast that it was hard to see it, nero could see it and saw dante control the sickle with the chain skillfully.
That is until he sent the sickle too far and slice the roof of a house in one swing. Dante pulled the sickle back, he looked over at black beak with a sheepish smile "Sorry about that"
Black beak didn't mind "Its fine, I can't get mad at one of the two that fought for my kingdom"
Spike pulled on nero's coat, nero looked down at spike wondering what he wanted. Spike said "So is it finally over" his tone hopeful.
Everyone heard him and waited for nero's answer. Nero smirked and said "Yup, we won spike. Griffonstone like canterlot is safe from the demons" when Nero said that the guards and soldiers cheered in happiness. The girls joined in, all of them hugging each other as they took this victory to the heart.
Black beak thanked celestia and Luna, the same for his wife that thanked them also. Nero felt good, him and Dante once again saved lives they knew nothing about, creatures said to be fake but here he was. Saving their lives and helping them.
He heard Dante walking over to him, dante unsummoned his new weapon. Dante reached Nero, he said "So, stylish victory?" He asked with his cocky grin.
Nero grinned with dante and extend his arm, his hand into a fist "Stylish victory" he said, his voice cool as ice. Dante fistbumped nero as the two reacted to their victory in their own way. When they pulled back the two were surprised hugged by the girls, and spike.
Applejack, and fluttershy hugged nero. As Twilight, pinkie, and rainbow dash hugged dante, and spike in between. The two let them hug them, not wanting to ruin this sweet moment.
They pulled away and talked about what happened, rainbow spoke first "Aw yeah! We kicked those demons flanks real good. You guys were awesome when fighting those two giants"
Applejack said "Dang right. You both really showed your stuff again today, how's it feel being heros?" She asked them.
Dante said "Pretty good to be honest. Never thought I would be called a hero of all things"
Nero smirked "True, you a hero is a understatement" dante glared at him as the girls laughed. Dante chuckled with them.
"Yeah, you might be right. I'm more of the lines of a anti-hero or vigilante"
Twilight looked at dante questionably "But wouldn't that make you a criminal?"
"Even better!" he shouted. Twilight didn't understand why Dante thought that was good, she believe it was a boy thing.
Pinkie waved her hand "That's sounds fun, can I be your sidekick" she asked Dante giving him her puppy eyes.
Dante said "Heck yeah, every anti-hero needs a sidekick" pinkie cheered.
Nero thought "I've never seen a vigalinte need a side kick, well except for Batman but he's called a hero know"
Fluttershy looked over Nero, that he notice "A-are you really alright? N-no injures?"
Nero shook his head "Nope, I'm fine fluttershy. I'm a lot tougher than you think" he looked away in embarrassment "Can you move away a little, your..."
Fluttershy looked confused until she notice she was touching him, and her chest pressing his body. She eeped away from Nero, and looked away blushing. Nero found her blushing cute, That's he was almost tackled to the ground by Luna that hugged him from behind.
He could feel her Breast on his back as she hugged him "What strength, what power, and skill. Sir Nero you truly are a great warrior to face such strong demons"
Nero's been hugged by women back on earth that felt nice, he's one to not let his mind go wild like other men. He would be lie that he didn't like the warmth he felt from both Luna and fluttershy.
Nero turned his head to look at her "I'm happy you enjoyed my fight, I didn't know princesses can be so spirited" he smirked at her. Luna understood what he meant and moved herself away from him.
She seemed to calm herself, and act normal "Well of course. Princesses must be both defined and open to others"
Dante whispered to rainbow "Opened for Nero that is~" they both chuckled but Luna heard him, she used her magic to trip Dante as he on his butt "Ah! My buns!'
What he said made the girls, Luna, and spike laugh. Starlight even joined with them. She started to think that Nero and Dante weren't evil as she thought.
Celestia was happy that everything was over, and enjoyed the laughing and jokes from Dante and nero. She clapped her hands to get their attention.
"All right everyone, we must head back to the griffon castle to inform black beaks subjects that everything is fine and over" the group walked back to them.
Black beak and his family, and guards were ready "We are ready celestia, I must give my people the good news"
Celestia agreed "Then let use go. Luna, twilight" the two nodded and together each princess used their magic and teleported them back to the castle. They appeared inside were all the citizens and other griffon soldiers were at.
Their sudden appearance startled them, but seeing it was their king with the pony princesses they calmed down. The soldiers came up yo their king and took granite to be looked over by black beaks orders. He soon told them the good news and every griffon cheered that the demons were defeated.
As black beak and his family checked on his people. The group stayed by until he was done, Nero looked around trying to find someone amiss the crowd.
"Dammit! Did they really die? Those two had to somehow live" Nero hoped he was right because he couldn't find them, that is until a little girls voice called to him.
"Mister Swordmen!" He wasn't the only one to hear it. Turning his head there he saw the griffon child he saved, she was bandaged mist Likely hurt by a demon or something else. She ran into Nero and hugged his leg, nero never felt so happy right know.
His face may hold a glad smile, but inside he was overjoyed that she wasn't killed "Its goid to see your alright kid"
She looked up at him, he could see tiny tears around her eyes "I was so.... scared. If not for miss g-gilda I would have..." He patted her head to help make her feel better, it worked and she held him tighter.
Rainbow looked bug eyed at the griffon child "Gilda?" Another voice where the little girl came from grabbed their attention.
"Some one called?" Gilda showed herself, she looked worser than Nero last saw her. She had a crutch to help keep her balance. Once rainbow saw her she flew over and hugged Gilda.
"G! It's been so long!" Rainbow said as she hugged her griffon friend. Gilda made a painful look but kept it in.
"Y-yeah... missed you to r-rainbow. C-can you let go, injured and all that stuff" rainbow let go and said sorry, Gilda told her it was ok. Nero with the griffon girl walked over to Gilda as the rest followed suit.
Nero was glad that Gilda was also safe, he said "Nice seeing you again Gilda. What happened to you after me and my squad left?"
Gilda said "Its good yo see your alright nero, way better than me. After you left I did as you said and brought our people back to the castle, but we got attack by a huge dog looking demon. It wiped out my men and almost the citizens if we haven't distracted the bastard, I got lucky when I got sent into a building hiding myself from him"
She looked down in aggravation, and sadness "Can't say the same for the soldiers under my command" Nero wanted to help lift her spirits, he placed his hand or her shoulder and looked at her seriously.
"Life can be cruel and beautiful. Anything can happen in the mist of battle Gilda, you were lucky as you said and your men... died" she frown feeling it was her fault but nero helped changed that "That doesn't mean they died in vain, they did their best and help protect many lives when demons attacked. I know what your thinking, and trust me it's not your fault. Don't think about how they died but what they did to insure others get to live in the end. You did good Gilda, the same for your troops for protecting your home" the girls all soon had tears in their eyes from nero's kind trusting words, Gilda sniffled and hugged nero's chest.
He could feel his shirt get wet but didn't mind, Gilda said "T-thank you nero, your one heck of a guy" she hiccuped.
Nero chuckled and petted her head "Thanks, I like to think I am" this got everyone yo laugh, letting the sad moment turn into laughter.
When they stopped Gilda moved away from him, she had a blush on her face realizing she let emotion go overboard. Rainbow looked at Gilda and nero, she smirked "So...." she said "How'd you meet nero gilda?" She asked.
Gilda slightly thanked rainbow for bring up something to distract her "Well me and my troops... got attacked by a bunch of demons. Nero came with the guards right on time and help us fight them off, after that we came upon a large group of demons attacking both soldiers and innocent griffons"
The little griffon girl cut in "Mister nero fought and saved everyone! He moved so fast no one saw him until the demons dissapered in dust, it was incredible!" She said in excitement that made them chuckle.
Gilda sighed and said "I heard from the king we won" she looked at Nero "Does that mean?" She was implying something, Nero instantly understood.
He nodded and smiled "The demon that attacked you is named beowolf, and yes he lost to yours truly. Taught that demon the meaning of defeat" Nero said proudly.
Gilda giggled and smiled, she was happy that the one who killed her men was beaten and by Nero. Dante chuckled and said "Yeah you should have seen him. When the mutt said that he killed a bunch of griffon guards near the castle, Nero looked about slicing the guys head off" Nero flinched that Dante told her that.
Gilda put the pieces together and thinked that nero got mad and worried about her, her blush came back more red than before. Gilda said shyly that surprised rainbow that her friend could be shy "I-i that true..." she asked him.
Nero said honestly "Yeah... I didn't want to believe someone I got along with and a child I saved was killed. I don't take deaths kindly" Gilda looked into his eyes and trusted nero's words, she looked away with her claws behind her back.
"That's.... sweet of you" she said. The air got romantically awkward, fluttershy and applejack didn't show it but were jealous in a way. Another voice joined them, black beak with talon shot walked over to them.
"Ah, I see you all have met captain gilda" the girls looked surprise, rainbow looked the most surprised out of all of them
"Captain?!" She yelled out. Griffon civilians looked at rainbow as if she was crazy. Black beak nodded "That's right, Gilda here is a captain just like talon, and granite. A fine soldiers she is" he looked sadder at Gilda "I'm sorry about your men Gilda, just know they did their best in fighting for griffonstone"
Gilda saluted "Its ok my king, so one already help ease with forgiving myself" she looked at nero in a passionate way. Black beak saw this and was impressed by nero's abilities of outside of combat.
Black beak said "A way with words it seems, both skilled on tactics and in combat. Have you been a soldier or recruited into a army?" Nero didn't think someone would ask that.
Nero shook his head "I just think before facing an enemy. It's always safe to form a plan before fighting, I would wish Dante would do the same but he's more special than me" he smiled at the end, black beak caress his beak in astonishment.
Dante heard him and glared him "Hey! The hell you calling special you ass" air puffed out of his head to show how mad he was. Nero ignored him as rainbow and twilight kept dante back.
Black beak was liking the two demonslayers. Both strong warrior but not uptight or serious all the time. Black beak said "Right know i've got the maids nd butler's to form bed area's for the citizens. Come, let use go to the dinning room and eat. There I can ask you both some questions I wish to know about you both"
Black beak lead the group to celestia and luna. They followed him through his castle and going through a door were the dining room is. They each sat down, Nero sat next between applejack and Luna, Dante sat between celestia and twilight. The others sat together, black beak sat next to his wife, and cheeriest wing next to her mother as she stared lovingly at dante.
Dante's stomach grumbled loudly making everyone stare at him "What? We haven't had anything to eat for hours since the morning. So black beak, what's for dinner?"
Black beak snapped his claw and a griffon wearing a white chief outfit came to him "Bring the princesses and her ponies the vegetable order, and..." he looked questionably at Nero and Dante "Tell me, what do you both eat?"
Nero said "Both me and Dante can eat veges and meat, making use both omnivores. Dante could probably eat whatever food you have"
Dante said "He's right, as long it's not poisoned" he thought "Even tho it wouldn't kill me"
Black beak looked surprised the same for white feather, and cheeriest wing "Omnivore?! Interesting, being able to eat both meat and greens is something not many in equestria can do" he turned to the chief "Hive them a combo of both meat and vegetables" he nodded and left to work on their food.
Black beak took this time to ask his questions "While their working on our food, I can start asking my question if your both ok with it" he told them.
Nero and Dante looked at each other, not thinking a king would ask permission. Dante said "Sure, ask use what you want to know"
Black beak smiled, and asked "My first question is if this attack by the demons was hard for you both?" The girls, spike and princesses thought the same. Learning that the two demonslayers have fought demons before, they never thought it would be difficult for the two.
Dante rested his elbow on the table as his hand was on his cheek, he thinked for a second and said "No... not really" he looked over at Nero "What do you think nero?"
"Same, this whole farse wasn't like anything we had to face but not even scratching the surface" he said. They looked shockingly at the two.
White feather didn't believe them "What do you mean scratching the surface? Your saying an army of demons attacking a kingdom isn't much!?" She wanted to know if they thought that.
Nero leaned by in his seat "Yes, me and Dante have fought demons at a young age. Back then it was hard and many lives were killed by demons we didn't know about or heard of"
Dante spoke next "Soon after we had enough to make our own work place, we soon learned the many mindblowing attacks unheard of or how it was happening. We got toppled by all of the calls of unnatural causes and deaths when we opened up, and that's when things got harder over the days"
Applejack was interested by this, the same with everyone else "Wait, you both had your own business shop?" The two nodded.
Dante rubbed his nose, looking proud "Yup, it was called 'Devil Never Cry' we got hired to investigate and solve problems that normal people couldn't. When in reality we go and find the demons causing the problems and take them out quick" Dante made his hand look like a gun and fire to prove his point.
Black beak nodded understanding what their saying. White feather looked doubtful, and cheeriest wing believed everything Dante said.
Rainbow looked confused by the name they called their shop "Why call it 'Devil Never Cry' is it suppose to mean something?" Nero answered for her.
"We named it that way because no matter how many demons we killed, not a single one shed a tear when their lives were taken by us. The same could be said to me and Dante that couldn't save those that got attacked by the demons we were hired to kill, because devils never cry..." Nero said like a badass. Everyone looked at him in awe at his answer and speech.
Rainbow said "Woah...." making Dante smile.
"Awesome right? I'm the one who came up with the name" Dante said cocky like. Rainbow praised him, agreeing with the name as he thought the same.
Black beak said "Are your species warriors like you, or..." he questioned.
Nero shook his head "Not quite. There are many kinds of warrior so to speak, but nothing like me or dante" Dante gave black beak his cocky grin.
"You could say were one of a kind" black beak chuckled, after watching them fight the two demon leaders he had to agree. Cheeriest wing blushed when seeing Dante grin, she found it hot that made her think possible things.
White feather looked at dante in mistrust "What do you mean by that? Are you saying you two have something the rest of your kind don't"
Dante looked over at Nero, he doing the same. They didn't know if it would be wise to tell the griffon royals that their part demon. Celestia and Luna didn't want to hide anything from their neighboring ally, coughing into her fist celestia got everyone's attention.
She spoke kindly and seriously "What they mean is that both Nero and Dante are different because of a trait they both have" she looked at black beak "I wish for you my friend to listen and think once I tell you this"
Black beak understood and nodded. Celestia said "We spoke to them, asking question on who and what they are before coming here. They told use something that shocked everypony, and that's because Nero and Dante are demons"
Black beak and cheeriest wing startled back, as white feather yelled "What!" That scared fluttershy, spike, rarity, and starlight from how loud she was.
Black beak looked over at dante and nero "Is this true?" He wanted to hear it from them.
Nero said "Yes it's true. Both me and Dante are part demon" Nero wondered if this was wise.
Cheeriest raised an eyebrow at what Nero said "Part demon, so you both aren't full demons?"
Dante explained it to them "Yup, me and nero are part demon. Nero being human and demon, and me being part demon and angel" cheeriest wing gasped at what Dante said about himself.
Black beak and white feather shocked from his claim, black beak said "A a-angel, but those are only in legend!"
"Seems your legend is true if I'm here. Look just trust use, me and nero don't really think it was smart to tell you both" he looked over at celestia "But seeing as Sunbutt spilled the beans we got no choice" celestia was both gulty and embarrassed for being called Sunbutt.
Black beak coughed in his claw "Well today is fill of surprises. My kingdom was attacked, you two called demonslayers coming and helping, and know we learn your both part demon.... truly a day it has been"
The doors open as waiters came in and set down everyone's choice of food in front of them. The ponies had their greens, and the griffon royals made plates of meat. As for Dante and nero they both had vegetable salads and cook meat given to them.
Dante smelled both clean vegetables and the sizzling meat as his mouth watered. He dug in, eating his food like a savage that made rarity, and white feather to look in disgust. Nero ate like a civil person, he took one look at dante and sighed.
"Dante" he stopped eating and looked over at Nero "Have some manners, were eating with both a king and queen with their daughter"
Dante swallowed his food and sheepishly chuckled, he turned to the royals "Sorry about that, I tend to go wild when hungry"
Black beak chuckled out "You both are really interesting, I'll note next time to make sure your stomach is filled up. I don't want my guest going crazy for food" his joke got everyone to laugh except his wife that continued to eat.
Nero asked, just making sure "So your not mad, or even worried about use being part demon?"
Black beak said "I'll be honest, finding this out has very much shocked me. But you both risked your lives to fight the demon army, and for that I am grateful. I know by speaking to you both and the way you two act that you both are nothing like those filthy monsters" Nero was glad black beak didn't resent them for being demons.
After that they all ate and spoke to each other. Nero talked to black beak about his kingdom, and spoke to Luna, and twilight that sat next to him. Dante talked with the rest, and messed around with rainbow and pinkie.
Everyone finished their plates of food and left the dinning room. Cheeriest wing stood close to Dante, talking to him and flirting. Nero watched him talk to the griffon princess, not knowing he was getting hit on "Sometimes his idiocy has no bounds" Nero whispered, turning his head towards rainbow dash, pinkie pie, and twilight that glared daggers at her "Hope he doesn't do anything that will screw him over"
Black beak tasked one of the butler's to escort them to their rooms. Dante and nero were given a room with two beds. Celestia and Luna in one room like theirs, and the girls all together. They all said goodnight to each other before heading off to bed.
The kingdom of griffonstone was saved and safe from the demons. But this wasn't over, far off in the distance in equestria, someone was plotting. Buying time and increasing his army to attack everything that gets in his way.
The world of terra will face an enemy never faced before, he will change everything with his power and mind. The time for peace will come to a end, and demons will roam equestria spreading fear to the hearts of all creatures.
