After awhile Spike and Scootaloo were by themselves and decided to walk around the Crystal Empire while their mothers did their thing and headed towards the train station to greet the games inspector.
"So what do you wanna do first", the filly asked her boyfriend with a smile, not seeing other blushing fillies looking at him with smiles.
"There are donuts here that are just the best, come on I'll show you the place", the colt said smiling before they started trotting towards the place.
After awhile they made it and walked in, the colt saw the stallion behind the counter while him and his girlfriend walked up to it.
"Welcome, what can I get for you two", the stallion asked smiling.
"We'll take two donuts and two cups of hot cocoa", Spike ordered while taking a small bag of bits from his back and paid for them.
The stallion took the bits with a smile before getting the order ready, "you'll love the donuts and hot chocolate here Scoots, trust me", the colt told his girlfriend smiling while they went to look for a seat.
"What is the Crystal Empire like Spike", the athletic filly asked smiling causing him to beam.
"It's great, the ponies here are more nicer than the one's in Canterlot and are not stuck up snobs", the colt said frowning concerning his girlfriend now.
"There were times when I was living in Canterlot that some stallion name Blueblood always called me a colt that nobody loves and cares about", he told her frowning.
"He must of been an ass, besides..I love and care about you Spike", she told him smiling before giving him a kiss and nuzzled his cheek.
"Love you too Scootaloo", he told her and nuzzled her back while they failed to see a frustrated mare pulling her bag in the distance, then she got splashed causing her to groan.
Back at the spa with Rarity trying to do Cadences mane, "you know...that purple colt looked familiar, like a colt that my guards described after a break in was reported", the Princess of love told the fashionista.
"Spikey-Wikey was a homeless orphaned colt with no family darling, if he did break in you're Castle he must of done it because he was hungry", the fashionista told the Princess of love causing the mares to gasped in shock.
"H-He was an homeless orphan", one of the spa mares said in shock causing Rarity to nod with a frown.
"He end up in Ponyville over a month ago and Fluttershy offered him a home when we first met him", the fashionista told them putting on a smile glad that the colt has a family again.
"That's really heartbreaking, if I would have found him by himself..I would have took him in and me and Shining would have raised him as our son", Cadence said frowning.
Then the fashionista went back to focusing on the mane, suddenly she became nervous while trying to brush it, "oh dear", thought to herself panicking now.
She put the drill down while having her mane in curlers, "so uh..how's it going so far", the Princess of love asked while laying down on her back.
"Oh I'm so sorry..it's just over complemented", Rarity told her with a nervous chuckle while sweating now, the other mares were worried now.
"I-I can fix it"
"Fix what", Cadence asked confused causing the fashionista to drop everything.
"Well I-I-I was looking for a short cut and thought step three was optional", she said panicking while levetated a mirror to her causing the Princess to become shocked when she saw her mane.
After awhile with Spike and Scootaloo, the colt and filly was walking around and he was showing her all the places he been too when he use to live here.
"And over here is the bowling alley and over here is the diner", the colt told her smiling while pointing a hoof at the building's.
"They all sound like great places", then she saw the Arcade where she can see some fillies and colts playing games with smiles, but mostly colts.
"Care to play a few games Spike", the athletic filly asked smirking causing her boyfriend to smirk and nod, then they started running towards the said building.
When they got there, they trotted in and saw all kinds of arcade games that colts and fillies were playing. (Just think of ponyfied version of old school and modern arcade games)
"Which one you want to play first Scootaloo", the colt asked smiling while they were looking around, then suddenly their eyes fell on a game called Pony Kombat 3
"Awe nice I totally forgot about this game, wonder if I still remember how to play and remember the fatalities", he said to himself causing his girlfriend to turn to him with a raise eyebrow.
"You played this game before Spike", the athletic filly asked out of curiosity causing him to nod with a smirk.
"It's a really bloody and gory game, heck I think it's the bloodiest goriest game I ever played", he told her before turning his attention back to the game.
Then he put a bit in and stood on his back legs to play, he pushed start then started searching through the characters, "Sub-Zero is my favorite one", he told the filly while picking a unicorn dressed in blue.
After awhile of loading, "alright looks like Johnny Hoof is first", then the first round began and the colt started playing and doing the moves.
Scootaloo was surprised whenever the character hits the other character, blood comes out.
"Are you fighting on a bridge", the filly asked out of curiosity noticing the stage.
"Yup and it's called the pit, I think I remember the fatalities", the colt told her when he finished the first round, the character automatically back up and soon the second round started.
After awhile he froze the character one more time before punching him, then he got up and looked like he was dizzy.
Spike when up to it and did a few button work before his character bucked Johnny Hoof straight up and off the bridge causing the character to scream.
The character suddenly hit spinning spiked blades causing blood guts and bones to go everywhere like he exploded, "ok, that is both gross and awesome at the same time", the filly said smirking.
"I know, I thought the same thing too when I first saw somepony played it", the colt said smirking while continued to play.
After awhile of playing games and playing a few co-op game's, "I'm gonna go use the restroom real quick Scootaloo", the colt told her before giving her a kiss then trotting off while she told him to hurry back.
When the athletic filly started playing a arcade game, a colt around her age that was secretly watching her and Spike from afar for awhile now suddenly came up to her smirking.
"Hey there...noticed you've been hanging around that loser colt for awhile now, feel like ditching him for me", he asked the last part causing the athletic filly to stop and turn to him with a glare.
"That colt is my boyfriend, and I will never leave his side for somepony like you", she told him before turning her attention back to the game while he glared.
With Spike walking out of the restroom with a smile, suddenly he saw a colt trying to pick up on his girlfriend while the filly was telling him no and to leave her alone.
He glared and trotted up to the colt while Scootaloo smirked when she saw him, the athletic colt pulled him away from his girlfriend by the tail and got in his face with a glare.
"You got a problem with my girlfriend", the athletic colt asked while the gamer colt glared back and refused to walk away.
"Yeah, her being with somepony a pathetic as you", the gamer colt told the athletic colt back causing the athletic filly to scuff.
"Don't call me pethatic", the athletic colt said through gritted teeth and a death glare causing the gamer to smirk.
"Or what you pathetic loser", he said smirking and ready to fight when the athletic colt was ready to pounce and make him pay, but his girlfriend stopped him with a hoof.
"Don't Spike, let's get out of here cause he ain't worth it", the athletic filly said while glaring at the gamer colt, the athletic colt didn't bother to fight and just walked away with his girlfriend.
Later that day Spike Scootaloo and the Main six were looking for a seat cause the Equestrian Games were gonna start soon.
"Lucky you and you're friends found the right Games inspector mom", Scootaloo said smiling causing her mother to nod.
"Yeah, and happy that she decided to host the Crystal Empire for the Equestrian Games", the athletic rainbow mare told her daughter.
Suddenly they heard somepony call them and turn in the direction, there they saw Zephyr Breeze waving a wing with a smile, they went over confused and wondering why he's here.
"Zephyr, I didn't know you were interested in the Equestrian Games", Fluttershy said in surprise, yet confused causing him to shrug.
"I know, I just decided to give it a shot and see what's it like that's all", he told her before turning to the field while seeing ponies stretching and getting ready for the game's.
His eye's landed on Spitfire and smiled at her, she saw him and smiled back before waving a wing causing him to wave a wing back.
His sister nephew and the rest of the group saw this and raised an eyebrow at him with smirks thinking something is happening between the two.
"Hey uncle, are you here for the Equestrian Games or just to cheere on auntie Spitfire", Spike asked smirking causing the stallions eyes to widen with a small crimson across his cheeks.
"Hey I'm here for the game's, there is nothing going on between me and her", he told them in shock causing them to snicker.
"We never said that there is something going on between you two", Rainbow told him smirking because he's is not after her no more and doesn't have to put him in the Hospital one day.
"Zephyr darling, do you like Spitfire", Rarity asked with a smirk causing him to become nervous and blush even more.
With Spitfire Soarin and Fleetfoot, the three were representing Cloudsdale and were also getting ready, the Wonderbolt captain saw the stallion talking to the family and chuckled.
Her brother and friend saw this and smirked, "I'm surprised that Zephyr made it knowing these kind of things ain't what he's into", the stallion said smirking still.
"Well I talked to him two days ago and asked him if he can show up just to check it out", she told him not seeing the raised eyebrows they have.
"Hmm...seems to me that you wanted him to show up, maybe cheere you on and have him watch you perform", her friend said smirking causing her eyes to widen.
"I found love, and I think you might of found it too Spitfire", the stallion told his sister causing her to blush while continued to stare at Zephyr Breeze talking to his family.
