Caramel Apple was putting the last part of the Hearts Warming Dinner together, by placing the green bean casserole with a bit of onions into the oven. She put the kitchen timer for 25 minutes, she then looked up at the old clock that reads 5:20.  She turned back to see the other components of the Hearts Warming Dinner cooling on the table. She knew that her husband, Dark Moon would be home at any minute. Sure enough, she heard the sound of the front door opening in which she knew exactly who it was. She almost trotted straight towards him, but knew that she had to be careful so she limited herself from walking too fast.

Meanwhile in the living room, Dark Moon had removed his hat, scarf, and boots along with any snow that had gotten on his. He placed them to the side with his blue colored magic. Once we was done, he could see her coming up to him. With a big smile he trotted up to his wife, enveloping her in a warm hug, and then he brought her to a kiss. Caramel Apple blushed a light shaded of red.

"So how's are little colt doing?" Dark Moon asked happily as he looked into his wife's eyes. She looked down at her stomach where their was a noticeable bulge that made it appeared that she was pregnant. She smiled as she rubbed her belly, "he's coming along, he'll be do in 4 months Moon," she then felt a small kick. "And he's excited that his daddy is back." She explained, smiling as she imagined her bring this colt into the world, nuzzling her son as she would hold him for the first time. She looked back to Dark Moon, who immediately brought her into a kiss and rubbed her pregnant belly.

"So, I smell something good Caramel Apple. What's cooking honey?" He ask as he looked towards the kitchen. Caramel Apple beamed a bit, "oh I've gone all out. I've made a salad along with vegetable soup for the main course and I made baked sweet potatoes and a green bean casserole with onions for us as side dishes. Plus I made a your favorite apple pie for dessert." She said as she kissed his nose. "Although the casserole won't be don't for 20 minutes or so."

Dark Moon smiled at the what his wife he then asked her in a curious expression. "So what do you want to do until it's ready?" Caramel Apple blushed slightly, "we could sit together, you and me on the couch that is. If you want to that is." 

Dark Moon nodded in agreement as the two ponies made their way towards the couch at the other side of living room. They quickly made it to their brand new couch that the two of them bought only just a month ago, it was next to the Hearts Warming tree that was decorated head to hoof in ornaments, tinsel, lights, and topped off with a pony angel. She smiled as she listened to the slight faint sound of snow blowing in the wind outside. The two of them snuggled closely together, their bodies close together feeling each other's warmth.

"So Dark Moon, how did it go.. with your older brother Neon Lights?" She asked him a bit worried. Dark Moon sighed a bit, he had a older brother, named Neon Lights (Neon was 24 and Moon was 21). While they did looked very similar, they however didn't get a long very well. At first when they were colts they were close enough, however the two of them sadly began to separate apart. They didn't abuse each other, but they had definitely grown apart. It wasn't for many years, in fact it was just a year ago actually when they began to heal their relationship. It wasn't easy, it was a long a hard process, but eventually they started to become brothers again. In fact he went over to visit him today.

"It went well honey," Moon explain, "he wasn't a piece of shit to me, he actually seemed to be glad that I was there. He got a marefriend a few weeks ago, Vinyl Scratch, she seems to be pretty nice. And was actually happy to me for the first time." Dark Moon said. "Anyway, what did you did while I was visiting my brother?"

"Oh I was just to see my family members at Sweet Apple Acres to see how those guys have been doing since the reunion. There doing fine, AJ has started dating Soarin which was a huge surprise to me, however they definitely love each other and I'm routing for them. Mac and Cheerilee are about to get married soon, so that is a huge thing but I'm happy for them. Little Apple Bloom is growing up so fast, I still remember her when she was a little tiny filly," Caramel Apple paused for a moment. "I don't know why, but seeing her grow up so fast just made me think of when are colt is born. Anyway after I told them the news I came back here, getting that fantastic dinner in their made, I wanted to do something special for are first Heart's Warming together. You're my husband Moon, and you mean the world to me. This is something I wanted to do to show my love for you, and to show you how much I care for you."

Dark Moon smiled when she said that, and enveloped her in a warm and tight hug. He released her from the hug saying, "I'm so happy that your my wife Caramel Apple, I love you too honey. Besides, I'm glad that your going to be the mother of my colt."

"Same. I'm so happy that you are the father of my colt, and I know that you'll be a great dad." Caramel Apple beamed as she brought him into a kiss.

Then the kitchen timer ran loudly from the kitchen, "oh it's ready Dark Moon. Ready for a wonderful meal Moon?" Dark Moon smiled. "Of course Caramel Apple, I'm ready." The two of them made their way to the kitchen to enjoy the rest of their Heart's Warming Eve
