Chapter 17: How I Met My Mother! Part 1

So girls, everything happened about a year after the fall of the Wall Maria. I remember I was walking around. When at a certain point I hear voices, or rather a voice, not far from where I was. Intrigued I approached to see who it was, since the owner of the voice seemed quite irritated.

"In the end you understood who the mysterious voice was?" Pinkie Pie asked.

"Yes ... of Father Nick." Elias replied, darkening in the face.

"Father Nick, who is Father Nick?" Twilight asked, noting, along with all the others, that Elias's mood had changed.

"is the most important figure of the Cult of the Walls."

"The Cult of the Walls?" They asked all those confused.

"It is a sort of religious movement where the walls are venerated as a kind of divine gift, in fact the names Maria, Rose and Sina would be the three deities who created the walls." Elias said, turning his gaze to his listeners who were seated around the table.

"But had not the humans created the walls?" Applejack asked, remembering the words of the cadet when they met.

"Indeed!" Elias answered. "But when people are afraid, they tend to believe everything, even bullshit of this kind, and this is how the cult of the walls has achieved such a high social power." hate and contempt accompanied the young cadet's words as he provided the young ponies with information on the Cult of the Walls.

"I feel a bit of hatred towards the Cult of the Walls, or am I wrong Elias?" Asked the pegasus with its polychrome crown, noting the hostility in the words of the soldier.

"You do not have the slightest idea, Dash, and now I'll explain another reason why I can not stand these parasites." And so Elias resumed talking.

When I approached enough I saw that it was Father Nick who was shouting at a Garrison soldier. This soldier was a minute of physique, she had glasses and platinum hair. And unfortunately a lecture was being sung at the simple fact that the soldiers had "profaned" the walls by putting the cannons on them and that they dared to set foot on a gift made by the deities. Already at that time I hated the cult of the walls and the fact that Father Nick was at the time criticizing a soldier for free did nothing but increase my hatred of him. So I decided it was time to show everyone who the Cult of the Walls really were, at least as I see them.

"And how do you see them? If you want to say it." Fluttershy asked timidly, hiding hier face behind her long pink hair.

"Well, my dear Fluttershy, I have always seen them as walking parasites of shit." The soldier answered with all the hatred he felt toward the Ministry.

"Elias! I understand your hatred of these individuals, but you do not need to be so scurrilous." Rarity said annoyed by the vulgar language of the cadet.

"Forgive me Rarity, but when it comes to the Cult of the Walls, good manners literally make a flight out of the window."

"So what did you do?" Sunset asked, curious to know what Elias did to Father Nick.

Elias leaned his elbows on the table, rested his chin on his fists and with a slightly malicious smile said:

"I can tell you that at that moment I had a slingshot with me and a few feet of me there was a fresh horse excrement."

"A slingshot and an excrement?" Twilight asked, rubbing her chin trying to understand what his human friend had done. Then she had the lighting. "Wait! You do not mean that ...?

"No, please, tell me you did not!" Rarity said, carrying a clog in front of her mouth, disgusted by the gesture the cadet had made clear.

"Please, tell me you did it!" Said Rainbow Dash repeatedly slamming her hooves on the table excited unlike Rarity.

"I took the sling, loaded the bullet, took aim and ..." Elias said while mimicking the gestures he did.

"And ... Courage do not keep us on thorns!" Exclaimed the polychrome pegasus impatient to know what happened next.

"I did not shoot." Elias said, surprising those present.

"What!?" They all exclaimed.

"But you did not say that you hated the Cult of the Walls, why did you hold back?" Pinkie Pie asked, confused by the sudden change of Elias's idea.

"You're right Pinkie, I feel a visceral hatred of the Cult, in fact I was about to shoot, but I stopped, and I stopped because at one point the soldier replied to Father Nick and what she said struck me so much that made me desist from hitting my target, and even today I remember these words as if they were said yesterday. " Elias said with a smile on his face as he recalled the words that made him esteem for the military body, but above all towards that soldier who had answered boldly to Father Nick.

"What did the soldier say?" Applejack wondered, intrigued by the words that had so impressed the cadet.

"She said:"

"You church dogs keep barking and growling at us soldiers calling us sinners for profaning the sacredness of the walls. We have not defiled the walls, we have strengthened them. Reinforced to protect humanity from the plague of the titans that afflicts it for years, and to help all those who are giving away their lives in the hope of regaining long-lost freedom. If we soldiers are sinners because we seek and fight, then I will be the first to be proud of being a sinner."

"Those words struck me so deeply in my soul that deep respect and admiration for the soldier who had faced Father Nick was born in me. I renounced to strike the priest, at least until ... "

"Until?" Asked Pinkie Pie.

"Until Father Nick said,"

"You are a fool! It is because of people like you that humanity can never receive divine salvation. Everyone like you deserve the sad epilogue that comes to you, deeming you superior to the deities who have blessed us with the walls. May your souls burn in hell while you are being massacred by the titans!"

The ponies were shocked and altered by these words.

"What a wretch!" Rarity said disgusted by what Father Nick had said.

"How dare he ?!" Sunset exclaimed violently, slamming her hooves on the table. "Should he be grateful to the soldiers who risk their lives to protect humanity and instead he wishes them death? What kind of monster is Father Nick?"

"The worst kind: Coward, cruel and selfish." Elias replied seriously as he turned his gaze to the fired pony. "When he said those cruelties, I became literally red with rage, and without thinking twice I shot him with that excrement straight in his face!"

"Ah, he deserve it!" So he learns to say all those stupid things, I would have liked to see his face when you hit him. " Rainbow Dash said, laughing at the idea of Father Nick with his face covered with excrement.

"As much as I can agree that Father Nick deserves a lesson to be an insensitive peasant, I just can not approve of the gesture you have made Elias, to take some droppings with hooves, bleah! Rarity said, shuddering with disgust and retching at the young cadet's gesture.

"If you can comfort Rarity, I took the excrement with a cloth so luckily I did not get my hands dirty." Elias said showing his hands to the white-coated pony. "As for his face Rainbow, let's just say it was priceless." the cadet laughed at the memory of Father Nick's reaction.

"I guess Father Nick did not take this affront very well, right Elias?" Asked Twilight.

"Not at all, in fact, his reaction was a mixture of shock, disgust and rage, and when he realized that it was I who threw the excrement, his shouts overwhelmed the laughter of the people who had witnessed the scene at that moment.

"How dare you hooligan !? How did you dare to hit a high official of the Cult of the Walls ?! Do you have any idea who I am !? I am Father Nick! I am the one who spreads the word and the will of our divinities! I Am..." but he never finished the speech because a second shot of horse excrement made another center on his face.

"An incredible shitty parasit! That's what you're asshole! I just made sure you could get all the shit that you spit from that sewer that you find yourself like a mouth!" I told him with all the rage I had in my body.

"Damned delinquent! Come here to teach you to bring respect to the Cult of the Walls!" Having said this, Father Nick began to follow me, but I was definitely faster than that idiot and I used this to my advantage. I moved away enough to prepare a small trap. It was not anything special, just a small string that at the right time I would have pulled, Nick would have tripped and would have made the figure of the idiot. When he arrived at the designated point I made the trap and the priest ended up with his face inside a dog's excrement, which I honestly had not noticed until the idiot ended up in it.

"Ahahaha! You deserve it parasite! That's your place, inside the shit like you!" And I started running away taking advantage of Father Nick recovering from the fall. I remember that I ran for a long time to get rid of my tracks. When I stopped, I checked if anyone had followed me. When I turned around I saw that nobody was following me, so I reassured myself. But when I turned around I saw someone had joined me. It was the soldier who was catching the lecture from Father Nick, the soldier who began to feel a great respect for the answer she had given to that parasite and above all, the soldier who would one day become my mother.
