This should’ve been announced years ago, so I'm sorry for the big delay. I don’t know if this is obvious, but my fic, Caliber’s Party, hasn’t been updated since 2016. Does that mean it’s canceled? I am here to officially say yes. I apologize if some of you were looking forward to seeing where this fic would be heading, but I decided to cancel it for a number of reasons.
Some of them are obvious such as other fics to work on and dealing with real-life issues like classes and work. Another reason I decided to discontinue this story is simply a loss of interest. The whole mercenary idea I had two years ago sounded good, but I’ve come to realize that the original story I had in mind wouldn’t really fit in the world of MLP. Mainly because it involved elements like magic guns and crime lords, that doesn’t sound it would fit in Equestria at all. Again, I apologize to anyone who’s OCs were involved in this fic.
BUT, I have a possible solution. Just because this story is canceled, doesn’t mean it has to die. That is why I am giving this fic away. If there is anybody out there who would still like to see this fic continue, then please let me know. Keep in mind if someone is interested in taking this fic, then it will obviously have a much different story than my original one. I will also provide the link to the blog post that contains all of the OCs involved and their creators. You can contact them and get the information you need for the characters.
The way I see it, this fic can either be a lost idea that had potential and would never be seen or heard from again or somebody can take this idea and turn it into a real story full of passion and dedication. If you want to take over this fic and turn it into something that’s completely your own, then leave a comment or PM me. I can’t tell you guys how sorry I am for doing this, but I have to focus on other things. The story may be gone, but it doesn’t have to be forgotten. Thanks for understanding.
