Lilac leapt over a massive canyon as she carried Spike on her back with Rainbow Dash flying after her carrying Twilight. “So how far out is The Dragon-lands?” She yelled up at the flying duo before landing. Twilight looked up seeing the volcano off in the distance. “Not to far. Maybe a few hours tops!” She yelled back down. Lilac smirked and began running down the trail looking back at Spike. “You ok back there?” She asked to which Spike nodded. “Ya. Were dragon’s after all! A little lava ain’t gonna kill us!” He said before Lilac skidded to a halt. “Wait, lava? You do know Im a ‘Water’ Dragon... right?” She asked. “Oh. right. well, still, your pretty tough. Im sure it wont be to bad for you!” He said giving a thumbs up.
Smiling, Lilac went back to running before reaching the end of the path and leaping over, watching as she left the desert and landed on a path made of dry lava. Continuing her run, she noticed the path was blocked by massive boulders all over the place. “Great, how are we going to get past all that?” Spike asked only for Lilac to pick up the pace. “HANG ON!” She yelled as suddenly a violet aura appeared around them as her feet became a blur and she ran head first into the rocks, smashing them to pieces. “WOAH!” Spike yelled as Lilac rocketed down the path before launching into the air and landing on a cliff before looking at the fallen stone bridge down in the lava with piece’s of it sticking out. “Looks like Im gonna have to leap across.” She said before blasting forward and leaping from stone to stone. As she landed on the fourth one, it begun to shake from her weight.
Looking up, she noticed Rainbow and Twilight were standing on the other side of the river waiting on them. Lilac grabbed Spike and yelled out, “Im gonna toss Spike to you!” Twilight nodded as Lilac, with all her might, threw the young dragon over to her, yelling the whole time. Twilight managed to catch him in her magic before pulling him to safety. Lilac grinned and leapt off the stone as it sank below and towards another rock, only for it to begin floating down the river with her on it. “This ain’t good.” She said as it carried her. She then noticed it was taking her to a new path and grinned before using the rock as a surf board making her way there. Suddenly she saw the volcano erupt, spewing out chunks of ice. “What the heck? That shouldn’t be happening here!” She said as the began landing around her. Lilac started surfing out of the way of them before leaping off onto the new path and running off again.
Suddenly more ice bombs landed all over the path. “HA! You think this will slow me down?” She asked out loud and went into her Dragon Boost, smashing through the ice before leaping onto the side of a cliff and ran up the wall before leaping away from the wall and onto yet another path only for more ice bombs to land. “Where is all this ice coming from? They should rename this place ‘Ice Cap’ if this keeps up!” She said before blasting through. She looked down at the river and watched as it turned from lava to water. “Now I know something’s up here.” She said before running into a tunnel only to see the end was sealed off. Once again activating her boost, she smashed through the wall only to fall down a waterfall seeing the volcano was near. “So these are the dragon-lands huh? Wonder how the dragon’s are handling all this water.” She said before landing and going back into her run, going into a loop before spotting hundred’s of boulder’s made of rock and ice before her. Instead of boosting, she began to spin on her foot flinging her hair out as she used her speed to continue moving as she smashed through the obstacle's before her.
As she slowed down, she noticed she was now on a bridge and looked up. “Im just outside the Volcano now!” She said happily as she boosted down the bridge making a tight turn as she went around a massive pillar only for a few ice bombs to destroy the bridge before her. “OH COME ON!” She yelled before leaping off and onto a waterfall, running sideways on it like it was nothing. She then leapt off and onto the road leading into the volcano. “Alright. Let’s see what this glowing is all about!” She said running into it only to skid to a halt as Rainbow Dash landed beside her carrying her passengers. “Wow, and I thought you were supposed to be the fastest flier!” Lilac said laughing as Rainbow growled. “You try carrying flying with passengers!” She said which just made Lilac laugh more. “Im kidding. Sides, you made it here. Let’s get inside and see what’s going on with this place!” Lilac said leading the pack inside.
As they entered, they spotted row upon row of Dragon’s bowing towards what appeared to be a frozen river of lava. “What do you think could of done this?” Spike asked only for Twilight to cover his mouth with her hoof. “Shh, I think its best if we didn’t draw attention to ourselves just yet.” She said before looking at Rainbow Dash with a frown. Getting the idea, Rainbow landed on the ground beside them only to look around noticing Lilac had vanished. However, before she could find her, the entire ground started to shake. Looking forward, they watched as a giant throne began to form from the ice as a lone dragon, covered in armor, stood before it only to sit down upon it. “That one must be responsible for all this ice.” Rainbow Dash muttered as the Dragon spoke.
“GREETINGS DRAGONS NEAR AND FAR, I SUPPOSE YOU ARE ALL WONDERING WHY I SUMMONED YOU FROM YOUR HOMES TO MY PARADISE?” She yelled out loud. She watched as the entire valley roared at her in agreement and smiled before continuing, “VERY WELL. I AM YOUR NEW DRAGON LORD, EMBER, THE FIRST WATER DRAGON, AS YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE FROM MY POWER.” She yelled out at them before pointing at the ice and water around them. “A Water Dragon? HA! Don’t make me laugh!” a red with orange spikes dragon said out loud only for Ember to blast him with her water, turning his colors blue with icy spikes while new armor began to cover him. After she finished blasting him, the now transformed dragon marched forward bowing before her. “I live to serve you Dragon Lord.” He said making her smile revealing her razor sharp teeth. “Excellent.” She muttered putting her hands together tapping her claws together. She then turned towards the rest of the dragons. “SOON, YOU ALL SHALL BE TRANSFORMED INTO WARRIORS STRONG ENOUGH TO CRUSH ANYTHING IN YOUR PATH. AND THEN WE SHALL MARCH ACROSS THIS LAND RULED BY DISGUSTING PONIES AND WIPE THEM FROM EXISTENCE UNTIL ALL THAT REMAINS IS DRAGONS! MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS, THE AGE OF EXTINCTION IS UPON US!” She roared raising her hands into the air as the rest of the dragons cheered around Twilight, Spike, and Rainbow Dash.
“Age of Extinction? Is she serious?” Spike asked Twilight fearfully. Before Twilight could answer though, they heard a voice coming from above. “NOT ON MY WATCH YOU JERK!” They heard Lilac yell out before leaping over the crowd of Dragons, surprising them all as she landed near Ember. Ember frowned looking Lilac up and down and crossed her arms. “And just what are you supposed to be?” She asked snorting hot steam from her nostrils. “Im a Water Dragon, from 200 years into the future!” Lilac proclaimed to everyone which only made Ember laugh at her. “If thats true, then how did you come back here?” She asked still laughing. Without missing a beat, Lilac said, “I was sent back in time to stop you from destroying the world and my future by The Ultimate Lifeform and his wife.” Ember continued to laugh at Lilac soon having to sit on her throne to catch her breath. “If thats true, lets see if you can handle my new warrior.” She said looking at the dragon she transformed before snapping her claw. “DESTROY HER!” She yelled pointing at Lilac.
Nodding, the Dragon begun flapping his wings before rising into the air and breathed out fire around Lilac only for it to freeze instantly. “Prepare for a fire sooo cold, it BURNS!” He said to her landing before her before dashing towards Lilac. However, Lilac jumped out of the way making him smash into the wall. Remembering her time with Sonic, she turned her body around and flung herself at him, attempting to preform a homing attack. She managed to kick him in the head only for him to throw her back. “So THATS HOW ITS GONNA BE?” He yelled before pounding his fists together and roared. He then charged straight for her a second time only for Lilac to leap on top of the ice wall, slamming his snout into the wall only to leap up and preform a stomp onto his back, knocking him to the ground as she begun preforming a few punches and kicks into his body. After the third kick however, He spun around, wiping his tail at Lilac’s feet knocking her over. He then got on top of her slowly inhaling to release another Arctic fire blast only for Lilac to kick him off her. As she got up, he managed to fire a much smaller blast at her only for Lilac to begin spinning in place, letting her hair deflect the shots into the ice wall, destroying it to pieces.
“Is that all you got?” She asked smirking knowing it was enraging this dragon to no end. “WHY WON’T YOU JUST DIE?!?!?!” He roared at her before taking to the sky and blasting the ground below Lilac making a massive ice platform rise into the air with her on top of it. Getting ready Lilac watched as he made his way to the outside of the arena only for to breath fire around his body as he began spinning like a drill and flung himself across the arena aiming at Lilac. However, she jumped out of the way just at the last second, sliding to a stop a few inches from where she was originally. She turned around only to leap out of the way a second time as the lit on fire dragon charged her again, only to charge her one last time. Lilac tried to leap on top of him, but he managed to escape her by flying into the air and begun bombarding the platform with his Arctic fire, only for Lilac to dodge every blast he fired at her. “IVE HAD ENOUGH OF YOU PEST!” He yelled and finally divebombed at the platform, slamming into it hard enough to crack it. Lilac dodged the divebomb only for the impact to knock her into the air.
“MY TURN!” She yelled launching herself into a string of Dragon Boosts into his thick skull only to knock him back onto his feet. However, before he could do anything else, Lilac started back up her punches and kicks, making sure to pound his snout with every hit before leaping up into the air and preforming a stomping kick into his head, shattering the platform in half as he fell onto the ground, down for the count. “You had it coming!” She yelled at him before leaping off the platform and landed in front of Ember, who was grinning the entire time. “So, you think just because you beat him means your strong enough for me?” She snorted before standing up making an Ice Spear form in her claws and pointed it at Lilac. “MY SUBJECTS, DESTROY THIS PEST!” She yelled at everyone. Lilac turned as she watched every dragon start making their way to her.
Suddenly she watched as a rainbow streak flew over the crowd towards her. “HANG ON LILAC!” Rainbow Dash yelled as she grabbed her and pulled her away from the army. “Thanks Rainbow Dash! But you'd better let me off here. We can escape them faster if your not carrying me!” Lilac said as they neared a cave. Nodding, Rainbow Dash tossed Lilac into the cave only for the dragon to blast down the path at high speeds. Lilac suddenly felt the entire cave start to shake as the ceiling started to lower. “Guess they know Im in here. “Oh well, time to kiss the party Goodbye!” She said leaping out the other side of the cave only to land on a series of tree branches leading to the ground. As she grinded down them, she noticed that the dragons were flying over her, launching fire ball after fire ball at her, lighting the area on fire. “NO! THEY SET THE FOREST ON FIRE!” She yelled as she landed on the ground and began running forward as fast as her feet would let her.
Rainbow Dash flew down beside her to make sure she was alright. Noticing, she turned to Rainbow and asked, “Hey, where are Twilight and Spike?” “Twilight already teleported them to safety before I went after you! Their fine for now! We just need to reach the meet up point in Applelosa!” She yelled explaining the plan to Lilac. Making sure she got the plan, Rainbow looked forward to see the dragons keep lighting the place on fire. “Ember’s forces are dropping fire from the sky like Pinkie does from her party cannons!” saying out loud as Lilac frowned. “This is awful! We have to find a way to put this fire out before it spreads!” She shouted making the mare think. “If we move fast enough, we can use the wind we leave to blow the fires out!” She said making Lilac smirk as she begun to pick up the pace. “Sounds like a good idea. You go high, Ill go low. And hopefully we’ll take out a few of these jerks along the way!” She said before rounding a corner and begun blasting through the forest, spinning on her foot as she begun to have the wind she left in her wake form around her into a tornado as she kept going through the forest, blowing out the fires in the process.
Grinning, she stopped spinning and continued running, before sliding under a tree only to spot more dragons flying after her shooting more fire balls at her. “At this rate well NEVER stop these guys from burning down the forest!” She said only to watch one catch up to her and attempt to grab her. “OH NO YA DON’T!” She yelled and leapt onto his back riding him like a surf board. Looking back, she watched as the other dragon’s began firing at the dragon she was on as he flew over a cliff and over another section of the forest. “Man, these guys are packing alot of firepower. Still, it don’t really matter when you all have such bad aim!” She said looking back at the dragon she was on who frowned at her and begun trying to shake her off. Lilac grabbed his spines on his back trying to hang on when she noticed a tree was coming up. “Sorry to do this!” She yelled and leapt off him forcing him to fly into the tree, knocking him out cold. Lilac then grabbed a second dragon by her hands and leapt up onto her back as well.
“HEY, GET OFF ME!” She yelled spinning around like a drill trying to throw Lilac off. “What is it with you guys spinning this way?” Lilac asked to herself as another dragon flew by her. She then spotted five more flying above as the began to launch fire balls at the one she was riding. Lilac leapt off and onto the dragon next to them, using the momentum to push the one she was on out of the way. The dragon she landed on snarled at her and began to spin like a cartwheel trying to get rid of her. Lilac frowned and punched the dragon in the head. “FLY STRAIGHT ALREADY!” She yelled sick of these guys trying to throw her off. She then noticed the dragons who tried to breath fire on her a few seconds ago were now in front of her with the two she was just on. “This cant be good.” She muttered, only for them to blast the poor dragon she was on, knocking them out of the sky. Lilac spun herself around only to spot a tree she was about to land on had a massive hole in it. “Heres hoping this takes me someplace cool and away from these guys!” She said as she divebombed into it only to land on a path leading out of the tree onto a halfpipe made from a fallen tree.
“Here goes nothing!” She said blasting down the path at high speeds, using her dragon boost to smash through and obstacle in her way. Looking up, she watched as the dragon’s began to fly near her, lighting the halfpipe on fire. “OH COME ON!” She yelled as more tree’s and objects fell onto the path. Frowning, she charged up her dragon boost once more and began smashing through objects left and right, making sure whatever she hit flew up and knocked a dragon out of the air. She soon spotted what looked like a desert up ahead. “Almost there, just a few more sec-” She said only for the ground to collapse under her as a massive ice pillar grew out of it throwing her into the air. Looking down, she noticed the dragon she fought earlier flying at her his entire body lit on fire again. Lilac quickly began to spin again flinging her hair around as he reached her, hitting him in the chin and throwing him off balance and onto the ground. Smiling, Lilac landed back on the ground and boosted away into the desert only to spot Rainbow Dash flying overhead. “Good, everyone made it out of there. Now to meet back up and discuss what to do next.” She said as she spotted a town in the distance.

“YOU LOST THEM?” Ember shouted at the dragons who returned to her nodding. “HOW CAN YOU ALL BE OUTDONE BY JUST ONE TINY DRAGON?!?!?” She roared into their faces grabbing the one she transformed by the throat. “Im sorry Mistress. We had no idea of what kind of abilities she had. We didn’t know she could move that fast on foot.” He said only for Ember to throw him down into the crowd of dragons. “I can see Im gonna need to transform ALL OF YOU to capture and destroy this supposed future dragon.” She said and begun blasting all the dragon’s in the area with her powers. All but one. A young dragon with orange scales, a yellow underbelly, and purple spines looked out from behind a boulder in fear at what she saw. “I better get out of here.” She said quietly and flew into a cave leading out of the volcano. As she landed, she noticed a small cloud of dust in the distance was going through the desert towards a small town. “I bet that’s that dragon from earlier...” She said only to hear screams of pain coming from the cave behind her. “Ember needs to be stopped... and Im not the one to do it.” She said grumbling hating the idea she wasn’t strong enough and flew into the distance to hopefully find Lilac.
