Judai made his way to one of the scenes where the mysterious creature had been spotted. Looking around he noticed some cops still taking photos and examining the scene. Huge slashes, hoof-like prints slammed into the stone, busted rooftops and huge amounts of destruction...Yup, this was definitely a Battle Ox's doing. As Judai observed the scene he noticed that the wreckage was more of that like it was searching for something, but what.
" What do you think Yubel...Can Duel Monsters exist in this world as well?," Judai asked. Yubel manifested next to him and waved their hand over the wreckage.
" Hmmm, its faint; but I do sense some magic elements at work here. Much like the dimension realm you and your friends experienced when I...I...," Yubel fell silent as Judai sighed.
" Yubel...You still haven't let that go, have you?" He asked. Yubel looked away with a solemn look in her eye.
" I...I'm so sorry Judai...The pain I put you through. The suffering, all for just something stupid...." Yubel turned away. Judai walked somewhere quiet and leaned against a wall.
" Yubel...The day you and I made a contract-a bond-I didn't do it out of pity. I did it because it was for me to atone for what I did to you. It was unfair and unjust of me. I'm the one at fault here," He stated. Yubel sighed as she appeared next to Judai. Yubel did believe in Judai and that what he did was for the best. This way they can watch each other back to back. Shaking her head, Yubel then decided to focus back on the task at hand.
"...Anyways...Yes. I do believe that there is Duel Monster residual energy here...Like the Shadow Realm," Yubel stated. Judai stood up and walked back into the alley where the cops soon were pulling out.
" No use standing here Yubel. Let's go have a look around," Judai stated as he grabs his bag and walked out into the public, ready to find out where he had found himself in and to see if there was a duel monster roaming around unchecked.
{Que Opening}
[Canterlot City***Monday***10:30am]
Judai noticed that the town he was in was quite different from all the others. Besides the average stop lights and such, it seemed pretty peaceful and filled with...multi-colored people. Then again, he was wearing a get up that looked completely out of style almost. He observed the scenery, buildings, shops; seemed quite normal.
"Okay, first thing is we need to find out where we are," Judai stated. Yubel and Kuriboh both manifested next to Judai.
"We should ask around to see if anyone knows about the Battle Ox...i mean, Ax Maniac," Yubel restated.
"You're right. Hmmm...Let's start there," Judai pointed out at an animal shelter. Yubel looked at Judai with a perplexed look.
"Why an animal shelter?" Yubel stated. Suddenly Pharaoh popped out of Judai's back and meowed. Judai smiled as a familiar voice came and called out to Judai.
"Of course...great thinking Judai. Whenever an area would give off any signs of danger, animals are the prime candidates to sense it and become defensive or feel stress," Professor Banner stated.
"And; seeing as how a huge Battle Ox is an animal; most of these guys must feel really scared when they sense a ten foot Ox wielding behemoth," Judai stated heading inside a shop called the A.S.L.C.

Inside the A.S.L.C Fluttershy had just finished setting up all of the pets for the upcoming photo she was doing. Sunset Shimmer and the rest of the girls were giggling and smiling as their pets looked so cute.
"So, did you hear about the attack last week girls?" Twilight added. The others nodded to agree with Twilight as they still couldn't believe that the police still couldn't find the culprit that leaves huge pieces of evidence around the area.
"I hope they catch that thing soon...I don't know what I would do if I ran into something that big," Fluttershy stated as she took a couple of photos of the pets. Sunset took out from her bag the weird but pretty designed card she found on the side of the road. The warrior looks pretty solid, brave, and the artwork was pretty well done. Twilight noticed what Sunset was holding and leaned in to see it from the side.
"...Celtic...Guardian?" She stated while confused at the card. Sunset was a bit startled and smiled at Twilight.
"I know...thats its name...I found this card on the side of the road near my house, looks pretty cool huh?" Sunset stated showing her friends. The others leaned in to see the card Sunset was holding.
"It says something on the bottom text there...'An elf who learned to wield a sword, he baffles enemies with lightning-swift attacks'," Pinkie stated. Rainbow took the card and studied the elf warrior.
"Wow, he may look weird, but that armor and sword look so cool! " She added. Rarity took a gander and was marveled at the design.
"Oh my word! His attire, his posture, his sense of clothing. You can tell he really is a strong character. Gasp, maybe I can use this idea to come up with some new costume ideas! " Rarity exclaimed. Sunset took the card back from her friends carefully looking to see if the card had sustained any damage.
"Hey be careful with it. I may not know what it is but whoever made this has some sick talent. Also, I don't know if someone lost it or not so I don't want to return a damaged item that they made," Sunset stated. As Sunset examined the card the front door to the shelter opened as a young man walked in. Seeing at the front counter Fluttershy walked up to him and smiled.
"Oh, hello there sir. May I help you with anything today?" She asked. Judai looked at the girl and smiled.
"Actually, there is something I was hoping to ask. This may sound silly, but...where exactly am I right now?" Judai asked. The others looked at each other the huddled up.
"Okay, I'm going to go out on a limb here but...Did another villain just walk in Fluttershy's store?" Rainbow asked. The others looked back at Flutter's who was explaining where Judai was at and what day it was. Seeing him Sunset didn't quite picture him the bad guy type.
"I don't know...I mean, he doesn't look like a bad person," Sunset alleged.
""Neither were any of the people we fought in that past months; but we were proven wrong," Applejack stated. Sunset rolled her eyes and looked back and JUdai who was getting quite acquainted with Fluttershy.
"Let's just see where this leads girls. If it is bad then we have or goods here to help usSunset stated. The others came to an agreement as they broke off from their huddle. Studying the weird character Judai smiled as he walked around and observed the animals.
"Oh, by any chance were you looking to adopt a pet?" Fluttershy asked with a sparkling hope in her eye. Judai chuckled nervously.
"Eheheh...Unfortunately, I uh...," Judai's back wriggled a bit as Pharaoh came out and meowed loudly. "I kinda already have a pet," Judai stated. Fluttershy's eyes beamed with excitement as she grabbed Pharaoh and hugged him tightly.
"Oh my goodness! He is so cute! So fluffy and so adorable! Is he your pet?" Fluttershy asked petting and nuzzling Pharaoh too much. Pharaoh looked agitated and Judai could sense he and Prof. Banner were getting quite annoyed. However, Judai signaled to them to just play along with the act. Judai a cough and smiled, walking up to Pharaoh and picking him up.
"He actually belongs to an old friend of mine," Judai stated. The others walked up seeing the cat and meeting the newcomer, which they were still not convinced that he was good or not.
"Did something happens to him?" Sunset asked petting Pharaoh as he jumped out of Judai's grasp and rested himself onto the banner above the girls.
"You can say that...Something happened to him and as a request, he asked me to look after Pharaoh," Judai stated. Sunset suddenly felt guilty asking that question and signaled one of the girls to come up with something quickly. Twilight spoke up to break the silence.
"Sooooo...Haven't introduced ourselves yet, My name is Twilight Sparkle and these are my friends," Twilight added to let each of them speak.
"Rarity,"
"Names Applejack,"
"Rainbow Dash. Don't wear it out,"
"We already introduced, but just in case you forget; I'm Fluttershy ,"
"Hi, I'm Pinkie Pie! Say, are you from some different complex dimension where you go to a school where you use these weird monsters in cards and duel different classmates or students to test your might but in fact you were all just being trained to fight a great evil that looms over your world to protect those you love from being slaves or ruled over by a dark evil power?" Pinkie asked. Judai, Yubel, Kuriboh, Pharaoh, even Professor Banner stood there with their mouth dropped. Sunset quickly grabbed Pinkie by the mouth and smiled nervously.
"Ahahaha...forget she said anything...I'm Sunset Shimmer," As the girls introduced themselves one by one Judai smiled and shook all of their hands.
"Well, it's a pleasure to meet all of you. My name is Yuki...Judai Yuki," Twilight then stepped in closer.
"So Judai...What brings you to the A.S.L.C," She asked. Judai scratched his head and chuckled.
"Well, besides pet talk...I have a serious question," Judai stated. Judai's eyes became serious as he asked his question. The girls noticed this and became a bit on edge.
"Uh, what is it you would like to know?" Twilight asked.
"Have there been any...unsettling events happening around here? Like, animals becoming crazy or hysterical for some reason?" Judai asked. the others looked at each other with a perplexed gaze. Fluttershy gasp as she had something to add.
"Now that you mentioned it...The animals started to become a bit uneasy and nervous for some reason. I asked them but-!" Sunset cut Fluttershy off briefly before she could announce anything.
"What she meant to say is...Yeah; the animals have been nervous this past week," Sunset added.
"And this all took place right when...the Ax Maniac showed up?" Judai asked his second question. Now the girls were even more alert than ever. How did this guy know about the Ax Maniac if he didn't even know where he was.
"How do you know about that?" Rainbow Dash asked cautiously. Judai motioned his hand to halt rainbow where she stood.
"It's just common knowledge. All animals have primal instincts to either run, get hostile when a threat is nearby," Judai added. Fluttershy noticed this information and spoke out to Judai and the rest of the gang.
"Now that you mentioned it...The animals in the shelter have been going a bit...crazy," Fluttershy stated nervously. Judai nodded his head and pondered in his thought for a while.
"Hmmm, I see...That's all I have to ask. I'll be-!" Judai then noticed a card sticking out of Sunsets bag and pointed out to it. "You uh...have a duel monster? Judai asked. Sunset looked at where he was pointing and brought the card out.
"You mean...This thing?" Sunset stated. Judai nodded as he brought out Elemental HERO Neos and showed her.
"These are called Duel Monsters. There's a lot of different types that exist. Do you have a Duel Monster's Stadium or a Card Shop anywhere?" Judai asked a bit excited. Sunset took Judai's card and compared it to hers.
"Sorry, as far as I know; I've never heard of this card nor these 'Duel Monsters' you speak of," Sunset stated. Judai sighed in disappointment but smiled.
"Well; I guess that would be the case. Where did you get the Celtic Guardian?" Judai asked receiving Neos back.
"Honestly, I found it on the ground. I thought some artist or someone lost it so I decided to hold onto it till they discover it's missing. I was gonna put up a post about it. Hoping he or she would see it," Sunset alleged. Judai chuckled and patted Sunset's shoulder.
"Word of advice Sunset...You didn't find that card by accident. That card chose you," He stated. Sunset looked at Judai then back at Celtic Guardian. Judai smiled as he grabbed Pharaoh and headed out, waving goodbye to the group of pretty girls. As Judai exited the building the others gathered and examined the Celtic Guardian card.
"Well, that was...eventful," Twilight stated. Sunset and the others nodded in agreement.
"It was rather strange...His clothing style was a bit...flashy for him," Rarity stated. Applejack looked at her with a perplexed look.
"We're all wondering how that guy knew about the crazy Ax Maniac and the card that Sunset has, and you are worried about his fashion choice?!" Applejack exclaimed.
"I didn't say that it was hideous...I was just instigating that his choice of clothing style seemed rather punkish," She stated. Sunset studied Celtic Guardian then opened her phone looking at the photo of Elemental HERO Neos. The art design was the same but something was off. What did Judai mean that the card chose her, and what are...Duel Monsters? So many questions ran through her head that she placed the card gently back in her bag, still thinking about the young spiky-haired boy with the red jacket.

As Judai exited the store, Yubel manifested next to him at an alarmed state. First, the Ax Maniac that these civilians know about is actually a 'Battle Ox' from Judai's world; second, a Duel Monsters card was discovered and found in this world possibly leading to something either great or something terrible, and third, Yubel sensed a powerful magical presence that the girls were emanating from their aura's.
"You okay Yubel? You look like you just met a ghost and got hit by a train," Judai teased them. Yubel made a snark face and looked at Judai with that 'really bra' look on their face.
"Judai...You really can't be that calm! Are you?" Yubel asked concerningly to Judai who was walking along the street making his way past different people and stopping at a crosswalk.
"I never said I was scared...I'm just trying to be cool and gather enough details about what we are dealing with here. First, paradox comes after me and nearly destroys me, Yusei and Yugi both help me fight him-we win-we go back to our time; only I seem to have been pulled in here not by accident," Judai added all of the facts and came to one single conclusion.
"What do you think this means Judai? Professor Banner asked.
"This isn't coincidental...man, using big words sure feels weird...I think we were sent here on purpose," Judai stated.
