//------------------------------// // Visitor // Story: A new visitor // by CraazyAutumn //------------------------------// Starlight kept looking around to find a pony, at least some pony. Seeing nopony around made her worry. I mean- who wouldn't be worried about the best known castle to be empty? She looked around the halls, seeing many windows. She spotted all the windows of the defeats of villains. Nightmare Moon, Discord, Crysalis, King Sombra, Tirek,... She walked for an another few minutes, finally seen an another hallway. She saw Twilight, rushing through the hall. "Starlight! Finally!" Twilight yelled. "Woah, woah! You alright?" Starlight asked, as Twilight reached her side, breathing heavily. "Yeah, are you?" Twilight asked, huffing. "I'm fine," Starlight said. "You see, something happend--" she stopped. She remembered the promise she made, that she kept with no intentions. So she was silent. "What? What happend?" Twilight yet, asked with a worrying look. "Oh, um...," Starlight took a moment to think. "I just... haven't found anypony yet!" She told. "Me either! So, why don't we go to the throne room?" Twilight questioned. "Oh, I checked, nopony is there," Starlight replied. "Well yes, I know. But we can wait for Celestia to come back," Twilight suggested. "You know where did she go?" Starlight raised an eyebrow. "Nope. Not even a clue," Twilight answered. Starlight rolled her eyes in annoyance, and continued: "How about... we look around the castle to find somepony who knows where to go, then find Celestia?" Starlight suggested. "Deal!" Twilight cheered, before running down through the hall. Starlight just sighed, groaned, and started to walk, once more. flashback Luna couldn't keep her anger in. Her horn glown with bright aqua light, aiming at a picture of Celestia in her room. "Luna, you need to relax," a calm voice came from the front of Luna's door. The spell she was preparing faded. She turned her head around to the mare, that appeared to be an alicorn. "I-I'm trying. But I just... get angry whenever I think of it," Luna replied, with a very young voice. The mare hidden in the shadow, walked up to her, putting a hoof on her shoulder. "It's not okay to keep your anger in. It's fine, but don't let it out on others, even if it's the pony you're angry with," the mare replied. "O-okay," Luna said. "Now, why don't we go back to studying?" The mare chuckled. "Sure," Luna said, letting out a chuckle aswell. The mare levitated a few books on the table, starting to read one. "As seen back in Equestria..." Starlight was walking for 40 minutes, but nopony to be seen yet. She walked, walked, and walked... Starlight, after a long walking session, finally seen somepony. She saw a light grey stallion with short pale green mane looking at a window that was just blank~a normal window having nothing on it, unlike from the other windows in that hall. For Starlight though, he looked so souless. Starlight ran to the stallion, catching her breath to speak. "Hi there, can I help you?" The stallion asked, turning his head to her. "Y-yes..." Starlight said, still exhausted. "Do you know... Where I can find... Princess Celestia?" "No, actually. I was looking for her too," the stallion replied. "Okay... But can you tell me where can I find other ponies? I've only seen 2 by now," Starlight questioned. "Nope. I'm lost as much as you are. But may I ask; do you know why is this window empty?" The stallion asked, making Starlight curious about it aswell. "Hm..." Starlight took a few moments to think. Yet, she couldn't think of any reasons. "Um, well... Uh... I don't know," Starlight finally said. "Oh, okay then," the stallion said, proceeding to look at the blank window. "I wonder what's so interesting about it...," Starlight thought to herself. "Well, I'll be going to find an another pony. Goodbye," Starlight said before she waved and continued to walk. Twilight ran through the hallway she was heading in, looking left and right every second. She didn't ran so long to find any other pony. "Well... This is certainly something," Looking behind the corner, she thought to herself. She was suprised to see a pony of this sort here. She was different unlike other ponies. There stood a white alicorn mare, about the size as princess Luna, having wavy aqua mane and bright orange eyes, which fade into yellow. And her wings; on the ends of her feathers was red. Twilight let out a small gasp. The mare looked back, only to see nopony. Twilight, breathing heavily, ran back to where she came from, but she couldn't notice the alicorn mare seeing her. "Gotta tell Celestia! Or Starlight! Or ANYPONY THAT'S IN THIS CASTLE!" Twilight thought, coughing a little. After a short cough, she tripped. But she didn't expect a lift. Starlight, still running, seen a tall mare, the size of Celestia, standing across the hallway. She asked: "Princess! Is that you?" She got no response. "Uh, hello?" Starlight asked again. Still no reply. "Princess?" Starlight asked once more. She, at last, got a reply. The mare walked from the shadow she hid in, and it seemed to be Celestia. She looked like Celestia, but Starlight got suspicions. She didn't act like Celestia, who would immediately greet a pony that she'd see. "Oh, hello there," 'Celestia' said. "Oh, hi there! I'm so glad I finally found you!" Starlight said. "Oh? Is something wrong?" She asked. "Yeah. I can't figure out where to go! And where did all the guards go?" Starlight questioned. "I do not know where had the guards left, unfortunately. But if you need to go anywhere, I can show you where to go or lead you there," 'Celestia' replied. "Oh... That'd be great!" Starlight cheered. "So, you see--" Starlight began to speak, only to be interrupted by Twilight who ran up to them. "Starlight, Celestia, agh!" Twilight laid on the floor from exhaustion. "Twilight? Are you okay?" Starlight asked. "Yeah... But... I... Need to... Talk to... You...," Twilight said, breathing heavily. "Okay. You rest here. Can you bring her a cup of water princess?" Starlight asked the white princess. "Okay. I'll be back in a few moments," Princess 'Celestia' said, before teleporting away. "Okay, Starlight...," Twilight started to speak. "Yes?" Starlight answered. "Alicorn... New... Castle," Twilight tried to tell. "What?" Starlight was suprised. "You... See...," Twilight started, being joined by princess Celestia, who gave Twilight a cup of cold water. flashback "NO!!" Luna yelled from the air, looking to the ground, seeing many ponies looking to the stoned mare, laying in the snow. Luna flew down as fast as she could, tears falling down her face. "No! Please!" Luna kept saying. Celestia flew down, putting her hoof on her younger sister. "Luna...," Celestia started, just to be getting a hug from Luna. She comforted her sister anyway she could at that moment. "S-she can't go too!" Luna cried. Celestia lowered her head, keeping her sister close. It was a loss. For most of them, anyways. Some still believed she was okay. But... It yet wasn't a true belief. Not yet it wasn't... Twilight explained what happened to her, getting a few gasps from Starlight, and confusion from Celestia. "So let me get this straight. This alicorn mare saw you see her, you tripped, she helped you up, told you not to tell anyone about her and she disappeared?" Starlight asked. "You do know what 'not to tell anyone' means, right?" "Yeah, but I needed to inform you two!" Twilight said. "Had Pinkie gave you too much cupcakes lately?" Starlight asked, trying to point out sarcasm. Twilight giggled. But, it was her turn to ask: "Celestia, how does your magic work normally and ours doesn't?" She got no reply. Celestia just powered her horn for a few moments, and disappeared. "Well that was... Odd," Twilight said, raising an eyebrow. "I knew that she wasn't Celestia. She just didn't act like her from the start!" Starlight told. The two mares saw a glow a few feet away from them. They turned their heads around to the glow. It slowly shaped into an alicorn mare, the one that looked like the one Twilight described. "Hello," the mare greeted. "Okaaaay," Twilight started. "This certianly won't be a normal day," she finished.
